John 21
1 After these things, Yeshua revealed himself again to the disciples at Lake Tiberias. He revealed himself this way.
ⲁ̅ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲛ ⲛⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲉⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⳿ⲫⲓⲟⲙ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲧⲓⲃⲉⲣⲓⲁⲇⲟⲥ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ.
2 Shimon Kipha, Tama called the Twin, Nathanayil of Qatne in Galila, and the sons of Zabedai, and two others of his disciples were together.
ⲃ̅ⲛⲁⲩⲭⲏ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲁ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲑⲱⲙⲁⲥ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲇⲓⲇⲩⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲉⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲍⲉⲃⲉⲇⲉⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲕⲉⲃ̅ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ.
3 Shimon Kipha said to them, "I'm going fishing." They told him, "We are also coming with you." They went out, and entered into the boat. That night, they caught nothing.
ⲅ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ϯ ⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲧⲁϩⲉ ⲧⲉⲃⲧ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϩⲱⲛ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿Ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲩⲁⲗⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓϫⲟⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲣϩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲧⲁϩⲉ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ.
4 But when day had already come, Yeshua stood on the beach, yet the disciples did not know that it was Yeshua.
ⲇ̅ⲉⲣⲉ ϣⲱⲣⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲁϥⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ϩⲓ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲭⲣⲟ ⲙⲉⲛⲧⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉ.
5 Yeshua therefore said to them, "Children, have you anything to eat?" They answered him, "No."
ⲉ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲁⲗⲱⲟⲩ⳿Ⲓ ⲙⲏ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⳿ⲛⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ.
6 He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." They cast it therefore, and now they weren't able to draw it in for the multitude of fish.
ⲋ̅ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ϩⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ϣⲛⲉ ⲥⲁⲟⲩ⳿ⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓϫⲟⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲉϫⲓⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩϩⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩ⳿ϣϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲛⲥⲟⲕϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡ⳿ⲁϣⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲧⲉⲃⲧ.
7 That disciple therefore whom Yeshua loved said to Kipha, "It's the Lord." So when Shimon Kipha heard that it was the Lord, he wrapped his coat around him (for he was naked), and threw himself into the lake.
ⲍ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲫⲏ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲣⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲡⲉ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ϫⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲡⲉ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲣϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥⲉⲡⲉⲛⲇⲩⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲁϥⲃⲏϣ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϩⲓⲧϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲓⲟⲙ.
8 But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about one hundred yards away), dragging the net full of fish.
ⲏ̅ⲛⲓⲕⲉⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓϫⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲩⲟⲩⲏⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲭⲣⲟ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϩⲱⲥ ⲛⲁⲩⲥ̅ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁϩⲓ ⲉⲩⲥⲱⲕ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ϣⲛⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲧⲉⲃⲧ.
9 So when they got out on the land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish placed on it, and bread.
ⲑ̅ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲁⲩϫⲟⲩϣⲧ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲣⲁⲕϩⲓ ⲉⲥⲭⲏ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲧⲉⲃⲧ ϩⲓϫⲱⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲱⲓⲕ.
10 Yeshua said to them, "Bring some of the fish which you have just caught."
ⲓ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲧⲉⲃⲧ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁϩⲱⲟⲩ ϯⲛⲟⲩ.
11 Shimon Kipha went up, and drew the net to land, full of great fish, one hundred fifty-three; and even though there were so many, the net was not torn.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲥⲉⲕ ⲡⲓ⳿ϣⲛⲉ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲉϥⲙⲉϩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲃⲧ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲣ̅ⲛ̅ⲅ̅ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉ ⲧⲁⲓⲏⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥⲫⲱϧ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ϣⲛⲉ.
12 Yeshua said to them, "Come and eat breakfast." None of the disciples dared inquire of him, "Who are you?" knowing that it was the Lord.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲙⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲛⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲣⲧⲟⲗⲙⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉϣⲉⲛϥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲡⲉ.
13 Then Yeshua came and took the bread, gave it to them, and the fish likewise.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁϥϭⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲱⲓⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϯ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲧⲉⲃⲧ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ.
14 This is now the third time that Yeshua was revealed to his disciples, after he had risen from the dead.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲫⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲫⲙⲁϩⲅ̅ ⳿ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲉⲛⲉϥⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⳿ⲉⲁϥⲧⲱⲛϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ.
15 So when they had eaten their breakfast, Yeshua said to Shimon Kipha, "Shimon, son of Yukhanan, do you love me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." He said to him, "Feed my lambs."
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲛⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲫⲁ ⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⳿ⲕⲉⲣⲁⲅⲁⲡⲁⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉ ⲡⲁ⳪ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲉⲧ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲕ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲁϩⲓⲏⲃ.
16 He said to him again a second time, "Shimon, son of Yukhanan, do you love me?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." He said to him, "Tend my sheep."
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ⲟⲛ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲙⲁϩⲥⲟⲡ ⲃ̅ ϫⲉ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲫⲁ ⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⳿ⲕⲉⲣⲁⲅⲁⲡⲁⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉ ⲡⲁ⳪ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲉⲧ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲕ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲁ⳿ⲉⲥⲱⲟⲩ.
17 He said to him the third time, "Shimon, son of Yukhanan, do you love me?" Kipha was grieved because he asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" And he said to him, "Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you." Yeshua said to him, "Feed my sheep.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ⲟⲛ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲙⲁϩⲅ̅ ⳿ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ϫⲉ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲫⲁ ⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥ ⳿ⲭⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲁϥⲉⲣ⳿ⲙⲕⲁϩ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲙⲁϩⲅ̅ ⳿ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲭⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲉⲧ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲕ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲁ⳿ⲉⲥⲱⲟⲩ.
18 Truly I tell you, when you were young, you dressed yourself, and walked where you wanted to. But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you, and carry you where you do not want to go."
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲕ ϫⲉ ⲉⲕⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲁⲗⲟⲩ ϣⲁⲕⲙⲟⲣⲕ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϣⲁⲕϣⲉ ⲛⲁⲕ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲁⲕ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲕϣⲁⲛⲉⲣϧⲉⲗⲗⲟ ⲉⲕ⳿ⲉⲥⲟⲩⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲕϫⲓϫ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲙⲟⲣⲕ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉⲟⲗⲕ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲁⲕ ⲁⲛ.
19 Now he said this, signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. When he had said this, he said to him, "Follow me."
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲫⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟϥ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲥⲏⲙⲉⲛⲓⲛ ϫⲉ ⲁϥⲛⲁϯⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲁϣ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟϥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲟϣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱⲓ.
20 Then Kipha, turning around, saw a disciple following. This was the disciple whom Yeshua sincerely loved, the one who had also leaned on Yeshua's chest at the evening meal and asked, "Lord, who is going to betray You?"
ⲕ̅ⲁϥⲫⲟⲛϩϥ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲣⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁϥⲣⲟⲑⲃⲉϥ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲉⲥⲧⲉ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲇⲓⲡⲛⲟⲛ ⳿ⲉⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉⲑⲛⲁⲧⲏ ⲓⲕ.
21 Kipha seeing him, said to Yeshua, "Lord, what about this man?"
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲉⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⳿ⲛⲒⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁ⳪ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲟⲩ.
22 Yeshua said to him, "If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you? You follow me."
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲓϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲱϣ ⳿ⲉⲭⲁϥ ϣⲁϯ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲁϧⲟⲕ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲁϩⲕ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱⲓ.
23 This saying therefore went out among the brothers, that this disciple would not die. Yet Yeshua did not say to him that he would not die, but, "If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you?"
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲁ ⲡⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲥⲛⲏ ⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⳿ϥⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ϫⲉ ⳿ϥⲛⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲁⲓϣⲁⲛⲟⲩⲱϣ ⳿ⲉⲭⲁϥ ϣⲁϯ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲁϧⲟⲕ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ.
24 This is the disciple who testifies about these things, and wrote these things. We know that his witness is true.
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲡⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲉⲣⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ϧⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲁϥ⳿ⲥϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲏⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲉⲧⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ.
25 There are also many other things which Yeshua did, which if they would all be written, I suppose that even the world itself would not have room for the books that would be written.
