John 2
1 And the third day there was a wedding in Qatne of Galila, and the mother of Yeshua was there.
൧മൂന്നാം നാൾ ഗലീലയിലെ കാനയിൽ ഒരു കല്യാണം ഉണ്ടായി; യേശുവിന്റെ അമ്മ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
2 Now Yeshua also was invited, with his disciples, to the wedding.
൨യേശുവിനേയും ശിഷ്യന്മാരെയും കല്യാണത്തിന് ക്ഷണിച്ചിരുന്നു.
3 And when the wine ran out, Yeshua's mother said to him, "They have no wine."
൩വീഞ്ഞ് തീർന്നുപോയപ്പോൾ യേശുവിന്റെ അമ്മ അവനോട്: അവർക്ക് വീഞ്ഞ് ഇല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
4 Yeshua said to her, "Woman, what does that have to do with you and me? My hour has not yet come."
൪അതിന് യേശു: സ്ത്രീയേ, അതിന് ഞാനുമായിട്ട് എന്ത് കാര്യം? എന്റെ നാഴിക ഇതുവരെ വന്നിട്ടില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
5 His mother said to the servants, "Whatever he says to you, do it."
൫അവന്റെ അമ്മ വേലക്കാരോട്: അവൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നത് നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
6 Now there were six stone water jars set there after the Jewish manner of purifying, containing two or three metretes apiece.
൬അവിടെ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ ശുദ്ധീകരണ ആചാരം അനുസരിച്ച് രണ്ടോ മൂന്നോ പറ വീതം കൊള്ളുന്ന ആറ് കല്പാത്രം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
7 Yeshua said to them, "Fill the water jars with water." They filled them up to the brim.
൭യേശു അവരോട്: ഈ കല്പാത്രങ്ങളിൽ വെള്ളം നിറപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അവർ അവയെ വക്കോളവും നിറച്ചു.
8 He said to them, "Now draw some out, and take it to the ruler of the feast." So they took it.
൮ഇപ്പോൾ കുറച്ച് കോരിയെടുത്ത് കലവറക്കാരന് കൊണ്ടുപോയി കൊടുക്കുവിൻ എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു; അവർ അപ്രകാരം ചെയ്തു.
9 When the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast called the bridegroom,
൯അത് എവിടെനിന്ന് എന്നു വെള്ളം കോരിയ ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരല്ലാതെ കലവറക്കാരൻ അറിഞ്ഞില്ല. വീഞ്ഞായിത്തീർന്ന വെള്ളം കലവറക്കാരൻ രുചിനോക്കിയതിനുശേഷം മണവാളനെ വിളിച്ചു:
10 and said to him, "Everyone serves the good wine first, and when the guests have drunk freely, then that which is worse. You have kept the good wine until now."
൧൦എല്ലാവരും ആദ്യം നല്ല വീഞ്ഞും ലഹരി പിടിച്ചശേഷം ഇളപ്പമായതും കൊടുക്കാറുണ്ട്; നീ നല്ല വീഞ്ഞ് ഇതുവരെയും സൂക്ഷിച്ചുവെച്ചുവല്ലോ എന്നു അവനോട് പറഞ്ഞു.
11 This beginning of his signs Yeshua did in Qatne of Galila, and revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
൧൧യേശു ഇതിനെ അടയാളങ്ങളുടെ ആരംഭമായി ഗലീലയിലെ കാനയിൽവച്ച് ചെയ്തു തന്റെ മഹത്വം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി; അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു.
12 After this, he went down to Kepharnakhum, he, and his mother and brothers, and his disciples; and they stayed there a few days.
൧൨അനന്തരം അവനും അവന്റെ അമ്മയും സഹോദരന്മാരും ശിഷ്യന്മാരും കഫർന്നഹൂമിലേക്ക് പോയി; അവിടെ അവർ ചുരുക്കംനാൾ താമസിച്ചു.
13 The Jewish Passover was near, and Yeshua went up to Urishlim.
൧൩യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ പെസഹ സമീപിച്ചിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു യേശു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോയി.
14 And he found in the temple those who sold oxen, sheep, and doves, and the money changers sitting.
൧൪ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ കാളകൾ, ആടുകൾ, പ്രാവുകൾ എന്നിവയെ വില്ക്കുന്നതും, നാണയമാറ്റക്കാർ അവിടെ ഇരിക്കുന്നതും കണ്ടിട്ട്
15 And he made a whip of cords, and threw all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers' money, and overthrew their tables.
൧൫കയറുകൊണ്ട് ഒരു ചമ്മട്ടി ഉണ്ടാക്കി അവരെല്ലാവരെയും, ആടുകളെയും കാളകളെയുംകൂടെ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽനിന്ന് പുറത്താക്കി; നാണയമാറ്റക്കാരുടെ നാണയങ്ങൾ ചിതറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; മേശകളെ മറിച്ചിട്ടു;
16 To those who sold the doves, he said, "Take these things out of here. Do not make my Father's house a marketplace."
൧൬പ്രാവുകളെ വില്ക്കുന്നവരോട്: ഇതു ഇവിടെനിന്ന് കൊണ്ടുപോകുവിൻ; എന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ ആലയത്തെ കച്ചവടസ്ഥലം ആക്കുന്നത് നിർത്തുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
17 His disciples remembered that it was written, "Zeal for your house will consume me."
൧൭അപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ: നിന്റെ ആലയത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള തീഷ്ണത എന്നെ തിന്നുകളയുന്നു എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നത് ഓർത്തു.
18 The Jewish leaders therefore answered him, "What sign do you show us, seeing that you do these things?"
൧൮എന്നാൽ യെഹൂദന്മാർ അവനോട്: നിനക്ക് ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യാം എന്നതിന് നീ എന്ത് അടയാളം കാണിച്ചുതരും എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
19 Yeshua answered them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."
൧൯യേശു അവരോട്: ഈ മന്ദിരം തകർക്കുവിൻ; മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തിനകം ഞാൻ അതിനെ ഉദ്ധരിക്കും എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
20 The Jewish leaders therefore said, "It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will you raise it up in three days?"
൨൦യെഹൂദ അധികാരികൾ അവനോട്: ഈ മന്ദിരം നാല്പത്താറ് വർഷങ്ങൾകൊണ്ട് പണിതിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ മൂന്നു ദിവസത്തിനകം അതിനെ ഉദ്ധരിപ്പിക്കുമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
21 But he spoke of the temple of his body.
൨൧എന്നാൽ അവനോ തന്റെ ശരീരം എന്ന മന്ദിരത്തെക്കുറിച്ചത്രേ പറഞ്ഞത്.
22 When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he said this, and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Yeshua had said.
൨൨അവൻ ഇതു പറഞ്ഞു എന്നു അവൻ മരിച്ചവരിൽനിന്ന് ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റശേഷം ശിഷ്യന്മാർ ഓർത്തു തിരുവെഴുത്തും യേശു പറഞ്ഞ വചനവും വിശ്വസിച്ചു.
23 Now when he was in Urishlim at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in his name, after seeing his signs which he did.
൨൩പെസഹ പെരുന്നാളിൽ യെരൂശലേമിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൻ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതകരമായ അടയാളങ്ങൾ കണ്ടിട്ട് പലരും അവന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു.
24 But Yeshua did not trust himself to them, because he knew everyone,
൨൪യേശുവോ അവരെ എല്ലാവരെയും അറിയുകകൊണ്ട് തന്നെത്താൻ അവരിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ച് ഏൽപ്പിച്ചില്ല.
25 and because he did not need anyone to testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
൨൫മനുഷ്യനിലുള്ളത് എന്ത് എന്നു സ്വതവേ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കയാൽ തനിക്കു മനുഷ്യനെക്കുറിച്ച് യാതൊരുത്തന്റെയും സാക്ഷ്യം ആവശ്യമായിരുന്നില്ല.
