Jeremiah 42

1 Then all the captains of the forces, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and Jezaniah the son of Hoshaiah, and all the people from the least even to the greatest, came near,

၁ထိုအခါ ကာရာ သား ယောဟနန် ၊ ဟောရှဲ သား ယေဇနိ အစရှိသော တပ်မှူး ရှိသမျှ တို့နှင့် လူ အကြီး အငယ် အပေါင်း တို့သည် ပရောဖက် ယေရမိ ထံသို့ ချဉ်းကပ် ၍ ၊

2 and said to Jeremiah the prophet, "Please let our petition be presented before you, and pray for us to the LORD your God, even for all this remnant; for we are left but a few of many, as your eyes do see us:

၂အကျွန်ုပ် တို့သည်အထက်ကများ သော်လည်း၊ ယခုကိုယ်တော် မြင် သည်အတိုင်း အနည်းငယ် သာကျန်ကြွင်း ပါသည်ဖြစ်၍ ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အသနား တော်ခံသောစကားကိုမ ပယ်ပါနှင့်။

3 that the LORD your God may show us the way in which we should walk, and the thing that we should do."

၃အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သွား ရသော လမ်း နှင့် ပြု ရသော အမှု ကို ကိုယ်တော် ၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် အကျွန်ုပ် တို့အား ပြ တော်မူမည်အကြောင်း ၊ ကျန်ကြွင်း သမျှ သောသူ၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့အဘို့ ကိုယ်တော် ၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ထံ တော်၌ ဆုတောင်း ပါလော့ဟု တောင်းပန်ကြ၏။

4 Then Jeremiah the prophet said to them, "I have heard you; look, I will pray to the LORD your God according to your words; and it shall happen that whatever thing the LORD shall answer you, I will declare it to you; I will keep nothing back from you."

၄ပရောဖက် ယေရမိ ကလည်း ၊ ငါကြား ၏။ သင် တို့ပြော သည်အတိုင်း ၊ သင် တို့၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား အား ဆုတောင်း မည်။ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် သင် တို့အား မိန့် တော်မူသမျှ တို့ကို ပြန်ပြော မည်။ အဘယ် အရာကိုမျှ မ ထိမ် မဝှက်ဟု ပြောဆို ၏။

5 Then they said to Jeremiah, "The LORD be a true and faithful witness among us, if we do not do according to all the word with which the LORD your God shall send you to us.

၅သူ တို့ကလည်း ၊ ကိုယ်တော် ၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ကိုယ်တော်အားဖြင့်အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ကို မှာ ထားတော်မူသမျှ အတိုင်း ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ပြု ပါမည်ဟု၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည်အကျွန်ုပ် တို့၌ မှန်ကန် ၍ သစ္စာစောင့် သော သက်သေ ဖြစ် တော်မူစေသတည်း။

6 Whether it be good, or whether it be evil, we will obey the voice of the LORD our God, to whom we send you; that it may be well with us, when we obey the voice of the LORD our God."

၆အကျွန်ုပ် တို့သည် အကျွန်ုပ် တို့၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အမိန့် တော်ကို နားထောင် သောအခါ ချမ်းသာ ရပါမည်အကြောင်း ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်။ ကိုယ်တော် ကိုစေလွှတ် ရာ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အမိန့် တော်သည်ကောင်း သည်ဖြစ်စေ ၊ မကောင်း သည်ဖြစ်စေ ၊ နားထောင် ပါမည်ဟု ယေရမိ အား ပြောဆို ကြ၏။

7 It happened after ten days, that the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah.

၇ထိုနောက် ဆယ် ရက် ကြာ သောအခါ ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်သည် ယေရမိ သို့ ရောက် လျှင် ၊

8 Then called he Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces who were with him, and all the people from the least even to the greatest,

၈ယေရမိသည် ကာရာ သား ယောဟနန် မှစ၍ ၊ သူ ၌ ပါသမျှ သော တပ်မှူး တို့နှင့် လူ အကြီး ၊ အငယ် အပေါင်း တို့ကို ခေါ် ၍ ၊

9 and said to them, "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, to whom you sent me to present your petition before him:

၉သင်တို့သည် ငါ့ ကို စေလွှတ် ၍ အသနား တော် ခံသော ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား ၊

10 'If you will still live in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up; for I grieve over the distress that I have brought on you.

၁၀အကယ်စင်စစ်သင်တို့သည် ဤ ပြည် ၌ နေ လျှင် ၊ ငါသည်သင် တို့ကို မ ဖြို မဖျက်၊ တည်ဆောက် မည်။ သင် တို့ ကိုမ နှုတ် ၊ စိုက်ပျိုး မည်။ ငါသည် သင် တို့၌ ရောက် စေ သော ဘေးဒဏ် ကြောင့် နောင်တ ရ၏။

11 Do not be afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom you are afraid; do not be afraid of him, says the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand.

၁၁သင် တို့ကြောက် တတ်သော ဗာဗုလုန် ရှင်ဘုရင် ကို မ ကြောက် ကြနှင့်။ ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည် ကား၊ ထိုရှင် ဘုရင်ကို မ ကြောက် ကြနှင့်။ ငါ သည် သင် တို့ကို ကယ်တင် ၍၊ ထိုမင်း လက် မှ နှုတ်ယူ ခြင်းငှါ သင် တို့ဘက် ၌ ရှိ၏။

12 I will grant you mercy, that he may have mercy on you, and cause you to return to your own land.'

၁၂သင် တို့ကို ငါကယ်မ သနားသောအားဖြင့် ၊ ထိုရှင်ဘုရင်သည် သင် တို့ကို သနား ၍ ၊ နေရင်းပြည် သို့ ပြန် စေရလိမ့်မည်။

13 But if you say, 'We will not dwell in this land'; so that you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God,

၁၃သို့မဟုတ် ၊ သင် တို့က၊ ငါတို့သည်ဤ ပြည် ၌ မ နေ ၊ ငါ တို့ဘုရား သခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အမိန့် တော်ကို နား မ ထောင်ဘဲ၊

14 saying, 'No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell':

၁၄စစ်မှု ကိုမ တွေ့ မမြင်၊ တံပိုး မှုတ်သံ ကို မ ကြား ၊ မ ငတ် မမွတ်ရာ အရပ်၊ အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည် သို့သွား ၍ နေ မည်ဟု ဆို လျှင်၊

15 now therefore hear the word of the LORD, O remnant of Judah: Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, 'If you indeed set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to live there;

၁၅ကျန် ကြွင်းသော ယုဒ အမျိုးသားတို့၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏အမိန့် တော်ကို ကြား ကြလော့။ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ ဘုရား သခင်၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား ၊ သင် တို့သည် အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်သို့ သွား ခြင်းငှါ ကျပ်ကျပ်မျက်နှာ ပြု လျက် ၊ ထို ပြည်သို့ အမှန်သွား ၍ တည်းခို လျှင် ၊

16 then it shall happen, that the sword, which you fear, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt; and the famine, about which you are afraid, shall follow close behind you there in Egypt; and there you shall die.

၁၆သင် တို့ကြောက် သော ထား ဘေးသည် အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည် ၌ သင် တို့ကို မှီ လိမ့်မည်။ သင် တို့ကြောက် သော မွတ်သိပ် ခြင်းဘေးသည်လည်း ၊ အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်၌ သင် တို့ကို ကျပ်ကျပ်လိုက် ၍ ၊ ထို ပြည်၌သင်တို့သည် သေ ကြလိမ့်မည်။

17 So shall it be with all the men who set their faces to go into Egypt to live there: they shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence; and none of them shall remain or escape from the evil that I will bring on them.'

၁၇အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်သို့ သွား ၍ တည်းခို ခြင်းငှါ မျက်နှာ ပြု သော သူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် ထား ဘေး၊ မွတ်သိပ် ခြင်း ဘေး၊ ကာလနာ ဘေးတို့ဖြင့် သေ ကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူ တို့ အပေါ် သို့ငါ ရောက် စေသော ဘေးဒဏ် နှင့် တယောက်မျှ မလွတ် ရ။ ကျန်ကြွင်း သောသူ တယောက်မျှမ ရှိ ရ။

18 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: 'As my anger and my wrath has been poured forth on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so shall my wrath be poured forth on you, when you shall enter into Egypt; and you shall be an object of horror, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and you shall see this place no more.'

၁၈ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၏ ဘုရား သခင်၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား ၊ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သား တို့အပေါ် သို့ ငါ့ အမျက် အရှိန်ကို ငါ သွန်းလောင်း သည်နည်းတူ ၊ သင်တို့သည် အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်သို့ ဝင် သောအခါ ၊ သင် တို့အပေါ် သို့ သွန်းလောင်း သဖြင့် ၊ သင်တို့သည် ဆဲရေး ခြင်း၊ အံ့ဩ ခြင်း၊ ကျိန် ခြင်း၊ ကဲ့ရဲ့ ခြင်းကိုခံဘို့ရာဖြစ် ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ဤ အရပ် ကို နောက် တဖန်မ မြင် ရ။

19 The LORD has spoken concerning you, remnant of Judah, 'Do not go into Egypt': know certainly that I have testified to you this day.

၁၉ကျန်ကြွင်း သောယုဒ အမျိုးသားတို့၊ အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်သို့ မ သွား ကြနှင့်ဟု သင် တို့အား ထာဝရဘုရား အမိန့် တော်ရှိ၏။ ငါသည်သင် တို့ကို ယနေ့ သက်သေခံ ကြောင်း ကို သိမှတ် ကြလော့။

20 For you have dealt deceitfully against your own souls; for you sent me to the LORD your God, saying, 'Pray for us to the LORD our God; and according to all that the LORD our God shall say, so declare to us, and we will do it':

၂၀အကယ်စင်စစ်သင်တို့က၊ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား အား အကျွန်ုပ် တို့အဘို့ ဆုတောင်း ပါလော့။ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသမျှ တို့ကို ကြား ပြောပါလော့။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် နားထောင် ပါမည် ဟုဆို ၍၊ ငါ့ ကို သင် တို့၏ ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ထံတော်သို့ စေလွှတ် သောအခါ ၊ ကိုယ် စိတ် ကို ကိုယ် လှည့်စား ကြပြီ။

21 and I have this day declared it to you; but you have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God in anything for which he has sent me to you.

၂၁ငါသည်သင် တို့အား ယနေ့ ကြား ပြော၏။ သင်တို့မူကား ၊ သင် တို့ဘုရား သခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ အမိန့် တော် ကို ၎င်း ၊ ငါ့ အားဖြင့်မှာ လိုက်တော်မူသမျှ တို့ကို ၎င်း နား မထောင်ဘဲနေကြ၏။

22 Now therefore know certainly that you shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, in the place where you desire to go to live there."

၂၂ထိုကြောင့် သင်တို့သည် သွား ၍ တည်းခို ချင် သော အရပ် ၌ ထား ဘေး၊ မွတ်သိပ် ခြင်းဘေး၊ ကာလနာ ဘေးတို့ဖြင့် သေ ကြလိမ့်မည်အကြောင်း ကို အမှန်သိ မှတ် ကြလော့ဟု ယေရမိသည် ပြန်ပြော လေ၏။
