James 5
1 Come now, you rich, weep and cry aloud for your miseries that are coming on you.
เห ธนวนฺต: , ยูยมฺ อิทานีํ ศฺฤณุต ยุษฺมาภิราคมิษฺยตฺเกฺลศเหโต: กฺรนฺทฺยตำ วิลปฺยตาญฺจฯ
2 Your riches are corrupted and your garments are moth-eaten.
ยุษฺมากํ ทฺรวิณํ ชีรฺณํ กีฏภุกฺตา: สุเจลกา: ฯ
3 Your gold and your silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be for a testimony against you, and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up your treasure in the last days.
กนกํ รชตญฺจาปิ วิกฺฤตึ ปฺรคมิษฺยติ, ตตฺกลงฺกศฺจ ยุษฺมากํ ปาปํ ปฺรมาณยิษฺยติ, หุตาศวจฺจ ยุษฺมากํ ปิศิตํ ขาทยิษฺยติฯ อิตฺถมฺ อนฺติมฆเสฺรษุ ยุษฺมาภิ: สญฺจิตํ ธนํฯ
4 Look, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of hosts.
ปศฺยต ไย: กฺฤษีวไล รฺยุษฺมากํ ศสฺยานิ ฉินฺนานิ เตโภฺย ยุษฺมาภิ รฺยทฺ เวตนํ ฉินฺนํ ตทฺ อุจฺไจ รฺธฺวนึ กโรติ เตษำ ศสฺยจฺเฉทกานามฺ อารฺตฺตราว: เสนาปเต: ปรเมศฺวรสฺย กรฺณกุหรํ ปฺรวิษฺฏ: ฯ
5 You have lived delicately on the earth, and taken your pleasure. You have nourished your hearts in a day of slaughter.
ยูยํ ปฺฤถิวฺยำ สุขโภคํ กามุกตาญฺจาริตวนฺต: , มหาโภชสฺย ทิน อิว นิชานฺต: กรณานิ ปริตรฺปิตวนฺตศฺจฯ
6 You have condemned, you have murdered the righteous one. He does not resist you.
อปรญฺจ ยุษฺมาภิ รฺธารฺมฺมิกสฺย ทณฺฑาชฺญา หตฺยา จาการิ ตถาปิ ส ยุษฺมานฺ น ปฺรติรุทฺธวานฺฯ
7 Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Look, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and late rain.
เห ภฺราตร: , ยูยํ ปฺรโภราคมนํ ยาวทฺ ไธรฺยฺยมาลมฺพธฺวํฯ ปศฺยต กฺฤษิวโล ภูเม รฺพหุมูลฺยํ ผลํ ปฺรตีกฺษมาโณ ยาวตฺ ปฺรถมมฺ อนฺติมญฺจ วฺฤษฺฏิชลํ น ปฺราปฺโนติ ตาวทฺ ไธรฺยฺยมฺ อาลมฺพเตฯ
8 You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near.
ยูยมปิ ไธรฺยฺยมาลมฺพฺย สฺวานฺต: กรณานิ สฺถิรีกุรุต, ยต: ปฺรโภรุปสฺถิติ: สมีปวรฺตฺตินฺยภวตฺฯ
9 Do not grumble, brothers, against one another, so that you won't be judged. Look, the judge stands at the door.
เห ภฺราตร: , ยูยํ ยทฺ ทณฺฑฺยา น ภเวต ตทรฺถํ ปรสฺปรํ น คฺลายต, ปศฺยต วิจารยิตา ทฺวารสมีเป ติษฺฐติฯ
10 Take, brothers, for an example of suffering and of patience, the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.
เห มม ภฺราตร: , เย ภวิษฺยทฺวาทิน: ปฺรโภ รฺนามฺนา ภาษิตวนฺตสฺตานฺ ยูยํ ทุ: ขสหนสฺย ไธรฺยฺยสฺย จ ทฺฤษฺฏานฺตานฺ ชานีตฯ
11 Look, we call them blessed who endured. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the Lord in the outcome, and how the Lord is full of compassion and mercy.
ปศฺยต ไธรฺยฺยศีลา อสฺมาภิ รฺธนฺยา อุจฺยนฺเตฯ อายูโพ ไธรฺยฺยํ ยุษฺมาภิรศฺราวิ ปฺรโภ: ปริณามศฺจาทรฺศิ ยต: ปฺรภุ รฺพหุกฺฤป: สกรุณศฺจาสฺติฯ
12 But above all things, my brothers, do not swear, neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath; but let your "yes" be "yes," and your "no," "no;" so that you do not fall under judgment.
เห ภฺราตร: วิเศษต อิทํ วทามิ สฺวรฺคสฺย วา ปฺฤถิวฺยา วานฺยวสฺตุโน นาม คฺฤหีตฺวา ยุษฺมาภิ: โก'ปิ ศปโถ น กฺริยตำ, กินฺตุ ยถา ทณฺฑฺยา น ภวต ตทรฺถํ ยุษฺมากํ ตไถว ตนฺนหิ เจติวากฺยํ ยเถษฺฏํ ภวตุฯ
13 Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone cheerful? He should sing praises.
ยุษฺมากํ กศฺจิทฺ ทุ: ขี ภวติ? ส ปฺรารฺถนำ กโรตุฯ กศฺจิทฺ วานนฺทิโต ภวติ? ส คีตํ คายตุฯ
14 Is anyone among you sick? He should call for the elders of the church, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
ยุษฺมากํ กศฺจิตฺ ปีฑิโต 'สฺติ? ส สมิเต: ปฺราจีนานฺ อาหฺวาตุ เต จ ปโภ รฺนามฺนา ตํ ไตเลนาภิษิจฺย ตสฺย กฺฤเต ปฺรารฺถนำ กุรฺวฺวนฺตุฯ
15 And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
ตสฺมาทฺ วิศฺวาสชาตปฺรารฺถนยา ส โรคี รกฺษำ ยาสฺยติ ปฺรภุศฺจ ตมฺ อุตฺถาปยิษฺยติ ยทิ จ กฺฤตปาโป ภเวตฺ ตรฺหิ ส ตํ กฺษมิษฺยเตฯ
16 Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
ยูยํ ปรสฺปรมฺ อปราธานฺ องฺคีกุรุธฺวมฺ อาโรคฺยปฺราปฺตฺยรฺถญฺไจกชโน 'นฺยสฺย กฺฤเต ปฺรารฺถนำ กโรตุ ธารฺมฺมิกสฺย สยตฺนา ปฺรารฺถนา พหุศกฺติวิศิษฺฏา ภวติฯ
17 Eliya was a human being with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.
ย เอลิโย วยมิว สุขทุ: ขโภคี มรฺตฺตฺย อาสีตฺ ส ปฺรารฺถนยานาวฺฤษฺฏึ ยาจิตวานฺ เตน เทเศ สารฺทฺธวตฺสรตฺรยํ ยาวทฺ วฺฤษฺฏิ รฺน พภูวฯ
18 He prayed again, and the sky gave rain, and the earth brought forth its fruit.
ปศฺจาตฺ เตน ปุน: ปฺรารฺถนายำ กฺฤตายามฺ อากาศโสฺตยานฺยวรฺษีตฺ ปฺฤถิวี จ สฺวผลานิ ปฺราโรหยตฺฯ
19 My brothers, if any among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back,
เห ภฺราตร: , ยุษฺมากํ กสฺมึศฺจิตฺ สตฺยมตาทฺ ภฺรษฺเฏ ยทิ กศฺจิตฺ ตํ ปราวรฺตฺตยติ
20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death, and will cover a multitude of sins.
ตรฺหิ โย ชน: ปาปินํ วิปถภฺรมณาตฺ ปราวรฺตฺตยติ ส ตสฺยาตฺมานํ มฺฤตฺยุต อุทฺธริษฺยติ พหุปาปานฺยาวริษฺยติ เจติ ชานาตุฯ
