Isaiah 4

1 Seven women shall take hold of one man in that day, saying, "We will eat our own bread, and wear our own clothing: only let us be called by your name. Take away our reproach."

E sete mulheres n'aquelle dia lançarão mão d'um homem, dizendo: Nós comeremos do nosso pão, e nos vestiremos de nossos vestidos: tão sómente que sejamos chamadas pelo teu nome; tira o nosso opprobrio.

2 In that day, the LORD's branch will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land will be the beauty and glory of the survivors of Israel.

N'aquelle dia o Renovo do Senhor será um ornamento e uma gloria; e o fructo da terra excellente e formoso para os que escaparem d'Israel.

3 It will happen, that he who is left in Zion, and he who remains in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even everyone who is written among the living in Jerusalem;

E será que aquelle que ficar de resto em Sião, e o que ficar em Jerusalem, será chamado sancto: todo aquelle que em Jerusalem está escripto para vida;

4 when the LORD shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from its midst, by the spirit of justice, and by the spirit of burning.

Quando o Senhor lavar a immundicia das filhas de Sião, e limpar o sangue de Jerusalem do meio d'ella, com o espirito de juizo, e com o espirito de ardor.

5 The LORD will create over the whole habitation of Mount Zion, and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory will be a canopy.

E creará o Senhor sobre toda a habitação do monte de Sião, e sobre as suas congregações, uma nuvem de dia, e um fumo, e um resplandor de fogo chammejante de noite; porque sobre toda a gloria haverá protecção.

6 There will be a pavilion for a shade in the daytime from the heat, and for a refuge and for a shelter from storm and from rain.

E haverá um tabernaculo para sombra com o calor do dia: e para refugio e esconderijo contra o alagamento e contra a chuva.
