< Isaiah 10 >
1 Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, and to the writers who write oppressive decrees;
Lozan’ izay mamorona fikasana tsy marina sy izay mpanoratra manoratra fampahoriana,
2 to deprive the needy from justice, and to rob the poor among my people of their rights, that widows may be their spoil, and that they may make the fatherless their prey.
Hampialany ny mahantra amin’ ny fitsarana sy hanalany ny rariny amin’ izay ory eo amin’ ny oloko, Handrobany ny mpitondratena sy hamaboany ny kamboty!
3 What will you do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which will come from afar? To whom will you flee for help? Where will you leave your wealth,
Ary ahoana no hataonareo amin’ ny andro famaliana sy amin’ ny fandravana izay avy amin’ ny lavitra? Ho any amin’ iza no handosiranareo hamonjy anareo? Ary aiza no hametrahanareo ny harenareo?
4 so as not to kneel with the prisoners, or fall among the slain? For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
Tsy misy azony atao afa-tsy ny mihohoka voatsindrin’ ny mpifatotra sy ny lavo voatsindrin’ ny voavono. Kanefa, na dia izany rehetra izany aza, dia tsy mbola afaka ihany ny fahatezerany, Fa mbola mihinjitra ihany ny tànany.
5 Alas Assyrian, the rod of my anger, the staff in whose hand is my indignation.
Endrey! ry Asyria, tsorakazon’ ny fahatezerako ô, Eny, tehina eny an-tànany ny fahavinirako!
6 I will send him against a profane nation, and against the people who anger me will I give him a command to take the spoil and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
Hamely firenena mihatsaravelatsihy no anirahako azy, ary hamely ny firenena izay iharan’ ny fahatezerako no andidiako azy, hamabo sy handroba ary hanao azy ho fanitsakitsaka tahaka ny fotaka eny an-dalambe.
7 However he doesn't mean so, neither does his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy, and to cut off not a few nations.
Kanjo tsy izany no kasainy, ary tsy izany no heverin’ ny fony; Fa ny handringana sy ny hamongotra firenena tsy vitsy no ao am-pony.
8 For he says, "Aren't all of my officials kings?
Fa hoy izy: Tsy mpanjaka avokoa va ireny governorako ireny?
9 Isn't Calno like Carchemish? Isn't Hamath like Arpad? Isn't Samaria like Damascus?
Tsy tahaka an’ i Karkemisy va Kalno? Tsy tahaka an’ i Arpada va Hamata? Ary tsy tahaka an’ i Damaskosy va Samaria?
10 As my hand has found the kingdoms of the idols, whose engraved images exceeded those of Jerusalem and of Samaria;
Tahaka ny nahatraran’ ny tanako ny fanjakan’ ny andriamani-tsi-izy, na dia nihoatra noho ny an’ i Jerosalema sy ny an’ i Samaria aza ny sampin’ ireo,
11 shall I not, as I have done to Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?"
Dia tsy tahaka ny nataoko tamin’ i Samaria sy ny andriamanini-tsi-izy va no hataoko amin’ i Jerosalema sy ny sampiny koa?
12 Therefore it will happen that, when the LORD has performed his whole work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, he will punish the fruit of the willful proud heart of the king of Assyria, and the insolence of his haughty looks.
Kanefa rehefa vitan’ ny Tompo ny asany rehetra ao an-tendrombohitra Ziona sy Jerosalema, dia hovaliany kosa ny vokatry ny fiavonavonan’ ny fon’ ny mpanjakan’ i Asyria sy ny reharehan’ ny fiandranandran’ ny masony;
13 For he has said, "By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I have understanding: and I have removed the boundaries of the peoples, and have robbed their treasures. Like a valiant man I have brought down their rulers.
Fa izy manao hoe: Tamin’ ny herin’ ny tanako no nanaovako izany, sy tamin’ ny fahendreko, fa mahira-tsaina aho; Ary nanaisotra ny faritanin’ ny firenena aho sady namabo ny hareny, ary tahaka ny famotraky ny ombilahy no namotrahako mpanapaka;
14 My hand has found the riches of the peoples like a nest, and like one gathers eggs that are abandoned, have I gathered all the earth. There was no one who moved their wing, or that opened their mouth, or chirped."
Ary tahaka ny fakàna ny ao amin’ ny akanim-borona no nakan’ ny tanako ny haren’ ny firenena; Ary tahaka ny famory atody nilaozan-dreniny no namoriako ny any amin’ ny tany rehetra, Ka tsy nisy nikopaka elatra, na nisoka-bava, na nikiakiaka.
15 Should an axe brag against him who chops with it? Should a saw exalt itself above him who saws with it? As if a rod should lift those who lift it up, or as if a staff should lift up someone who is not wood.
Ny famaky va hirehareha amin’ izay mikapa aminy? Ny tsofa va hiavonavona amin’ izay manatsofa aminy? Toy ny tsorakazo, raha manetsika izay manainga azy! Ary toy ny tehina, raha manandratra ny tompony!
16 Therefore the LORD of hosts, will send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory a burning will be kindled like the burning of fire.
Koa izany no anateran’ ny Tompo, dia ny Tompon’ ny maro, fahahiazana amin’ ny tremalahiny; Ary ao ambanin’ ny voninahiny dia hisy mirehitra toy ny firehitry ny afo.
17 The light of Israel will be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame; and it will burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day.
Ary ny fahazavan’ ny Isiraely ho tonga afo, ary ny Iray Masiny ho tonga lelafo, ka hodorany ho levona indray andro monja ny tsilony sy ny heriny;
18 He will consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body. It will be as when a standard bearer faints.
Ary ny voninahitry ny alany sy ny sahany mahavokatra dia holevoniny, na ny fanahiny, na ny nofony, ka ho tahaka ny fifezak’ izay marary mafy izany.
19 The remnant of the trees of his forest shall be few, so that a child could write their number.
Ary ho vitsy ny hazo sisa any an’ alany, ka na dia izay mbola zaza aza hahasoratra azy.
20 It will come to pass in that day that the remnant of Israel, and those who have escaped from the house of Jacob will no more again lean on him who struck them, but shall lean on the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
Ary amin’ izany andro izany ny Isiraely sisa, izay tsy ringana amin’ ny taranak’ i Jakoba, dia tsy hiankina amin’ izay namely azy intsony; Fa Jehovah, Iray Masin’ ny Isiraely, ihany no hiankinany marina tokoa.
21 A remnant will return, even the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God.
Ary izay sisa amin’ i Jakoba dia hiverina ho amin’ Andriamanitra Mahery.
22 For though your people, Israel, are as the sand of the sea, a remnant will be kept safe. For he will fulfill the word and decisively in righteousness;
Fa na dia tahaka ny fasika any amin’ ny ranomasina aza ny isan’ ny Isiraely olonao, dia izay sisa aminy ihany no hiverina; Voatendry ny fandringanana izay hanafotra ho famaliana marina;
23 because the LORD will carry out the word decisively in the midst of the earth.
Fa fahafonganana voatendry no hataon’ i Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, Ao amin’ ny tany.
24 Therefore the LORD of hosts says: "My people who dwell in Zion, do not be afraid of the Assyrian, though he strike you with the rod, and lift up his staff against you, as Egypt did.
Koa izao no lazain’ i Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro: Ry oloko, izay monina any Ziona, Aza matahotra ny Asyriana, raha mamely anao amin’ ny tsorakazo izy ary manainga ny tehina aminao, tahaka ny fanao tany Egypta;
25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation against you will be accomplished, and my anger will be directed to his destruction."
Fa rehefa afaka vetivety, dia hitsahatra ny fahavinirana, ary ny fahatezerako dia handringana azy kosa.
26 The LORD of hosts will stir up a scourge against him, as in the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb. His rod will be over the sea, and he will lift it up like he did against Egypt.
Eny, Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, hamely azy amin’ ny kotopia, tahaka ny namelezana ny Midiana teo am-batolampy Oreba; ary ny tsorakazony haingainy eny ambonin’ ny ranomasina ka hatsangany tahaka ny fanao tany Egypta.
27 It will happen in that day, that his burden will depart from off your shoulder, and his yoke from off your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
Ary amin’ izany andro izany dia ho afaka eo an-tsorokao ny entany ary ny bao fitondrany ho afaka amin’ ny vozonao, ary ho tapaka ny bao fitondrana noho ny fihatavezany.
28 He has come to Aiath. He has passed through Migron. At Michmash he stores his baggage.
Injao! tonga any Aiata izy, mamaky an’ i Migrona izy ary mametraka ny entany ao Mikmasy,
29 He went through the pass. He has lodged at Geba. Ramah trembles. Gibeah of Saul has fled.
Mihoatra ao an-kadilanana izy Ao Geba isika no handry, hoy izy; Mangovitra Rama, mandositra Gibean’ i Saoly;
30 Cry aloud with your voice, daughter of Gallim. Listen, Laishah. You poor Anathoth.
Mikiakiaha mafy, ry zanakavavin’ i Galima, Mampandria sofina, ry Laisy. Indrisy, ry Anatota mahantra!
31 Madmenah is a fugitive. The inhabitants of Gebim flee for safety.
Lasa mandositra Madmena, ny mponina any Gebima mitondra ny entany mandositra.
32 This very day he will halt at Nob. He shakes his hand at the mountain of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.
Anio izy mbola mitoetra any Noba, Maninjitra ny tànany manambana ny tendrombohitr’ i Ziona zanakavavy, dia ny havoan’ i Jerosalema.
33 Look, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, will lop the boughs with terror. The tall will be cut down, and the lofty will be brought low.
Indro, Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, manapaka ny rantsany madinika amin’ ny heriny mahatahotra; Ary izay mijoaka lava no voakapa, ary izay avo no aetry;
34 He will cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon will fall by the Mighty One.
Ary kapaina vy ny ala mikirindro, ary Libanona dia alamaky ny iray Mahery.
