Ezekiel 25

1 The word of the LORD came to me, saying,

TUHAN berkata kepadaku,

2 "Son of man, set your face toward the people of Ammon, and prophesy against them:

"Hai manusia fana, kutukilah negeri Amon.

3 and tell the people of Ammon, 'Hear the word of the LORD: Thus says the LORD, "Because you said, 'Aha,' against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity:

Suruhlah bangsa itu mendengarkan apa yang Aku, TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi katakan kepada mereka, 'Kamu senang melihat Rumah-Ku dicemarkan dan tanah Israel dirusakkan serta bangsa Yahudi diangkut ke pembuangan.

4 therefore, look, I will deliver you to the people of the east for a possession, and they shall set their encampments in you, and make their dwellings in you; they shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk.

Oleh sebab itu kamu Kubiarkan dikalahkan oleh suku-suku bangsa dari gurun Timur. Mereka akan mendirikan perkemahan-perkemahan di negerimu lalu menetap di situ. Mereka akan memakan buah-buahmu dan minum susu ternakmu.

5 I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the people of Ammon a resting place for flocks: and you shall know that I am the LORD."

Kota Raba akan Kuubah menjadi tempat menggembala unta, dan seluruh negeri Amon menjadi tempat menggembala domba. Maka tahulah kamu bahwa Akulah TUHAN.'"

6 For thus says the LORD: "Because you have clapped your hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the despite of your soul against the land of Israel;

TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi berkata, "Kamu bertepuk tangan sambil menari gembira. Kamu meremehkan tanah Israel.

7 therefore, look, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a spoil to the nations; and I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries: I will destroy you; and you shall know that I am the LORD."'"

Oleh sebab itu kamu akan Kuserahkan kepada banyak bangsa yang akan merampok dan merampas segala milikmu. Kamu akan Kubinasakan begitu rupa, sehingga tidak lagi menjadi suatu bangsa dan tidak pula mempunyai negeri sendiri. Maka tahulah kamu bahwa Akulah TUHAN."

8 "Thus says the LORD: 'Because Moab and Seir say, "Look, the house of Judah is like all the nations";

TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi berkata, "Moab mengatakan bahwa Yehuda itu sama seperti bangsa-bangsa lain.

9 therefore, look, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim,

Oleh sebab itu kota-kota yang mempertahankan batas-batas negeri Moab akan Kubiarkan diserang musuh termasuk kota-kota yang paling indah, yaitu: Bet-Yesimot, Baal-Meon dan Kiryataim.

10 to the people of the east, to go against the people of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the people of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations.

Aku akan membiarkan suku-suku bangsa dari gurun timur mengalahkan Moab bersama negeri Amon, sehingga Moab tidak lagi merupakan suatu bangsa.

11 and I will execute judgments on Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.'"

Aku akan menghukum Moab, maka tahulah mereka bahwa Akulah TUHAN."

12 "Thus says the LORD: 'Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and revenged himself on them';

TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi berkata, "Bangsa Edom telah membuat kesalahan besar karena berlaku kejam terhadap Yehuda, sebagai tindakan balas dendam.

13 therefore thus says the LORD, 'I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; even to Dedan shall they fall by the sword.

Sebab itu Aku mengumumkan bahwa Aku akan menghukum Edom dan membunuh setiap manusia dan setiap binatang di sana. Seluruh negeri itu, dari kota Teman sampai ke kota Dedan, Kujadikan sunyi sepi; rakyatnya akan mati dalam pertempuran.

14 I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath; and they shall know my vengeance, says the LORD.'"

Bangsa-Ku Israel akan Kupakai untuk membalas dendam terhadap Edom, dan Edom akan diperlakukan sesuai dengan dahsyatnya kemarahan-Ku. Edom akan tahu bagaimana rasanya menjadi sasaran kemarahan-Ku. Aku TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi telah berbicara."

15 "Thus says the LORD: 'Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with despite of soul to destroy with perpetual enmity;

TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi berkata, "Orang-orang Filistin telah membalas dendam dengan kejam terhadap musuh bebuyutan mereka dan membinasakan mereka dengan penuh kebencian.

16 therefore thus says the LORD, Look, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

Sebab itu Aku mengumumkan bahwa Aku akan menyerang orang-orang Filistin dan membinasakan mereka. Setiap orang yang masih tersisa di daerah pesisir Filistin akan Kubunuh.

17 I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance on them.'"

Aku akan menghukum mereka dengan sangat berat dan melampiaskan dendam-Ku sampai puas. Bila mereka merasakan kemarahan-Ku, tahulah mereka bahwa Akulah TUHAN."
