Colossians 1
1 Paul, an apostle of Meshikha Yeshua through the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
Paulo, apostolo de Jesus Christo, pela vontade de Deus, e o irmão Timotheo:
2 to the saints and faithful brothers in Meshikha at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father.
Aos sanctos e irmãos fieis em Christo, que estão em Colossos. Graça a vós, e paz da parte de Deus nosso Pae e da do Senhor Jesus Christo.
3 We give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Yeshua Meshikha, praying always for you,
Graças damos ao Deus e Pae de nosso Senhor Jesus Christo, orando sempre por vós:
4 having heard of your faith in Meshikha Yeshua, and of the love which you have toward all the saints,
Porquanto ouvimos da vossa fé em Christo Jesus, e da caridade que tendes para com todos os sanctos;
5 because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of truth, the Good News,
Pela esperança que vos está reservada nos céus, da qual já d'antes ouvistes pela palavra da verdade do evangelho:
6 which has come to you; even as it is in all the world and is bearing fruit and growing, as it does in you also, since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;
O qual já chegou a vós, como tambem está em todo o mundo; e já vae fructificando, como tambem entre vós, desde o dia em que ouvistes e conhecestes a graça de Deus em verdade;
7 even as you learned of Epaphras our beloved fellow servant, who is a faithful servant of Meshikha on our behalf,
Como tambem o aprendestes de Epaphras, nosso amado conservo, que para vós é um fiel ministro de Christo.
8 who also declared to us your love in the Rukha.
O qual nos declarou tambem a vossa caridade no Espirito.
9 For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, do not cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
Portanto tambem, desde o dia em que o ouvimos, não cessámos de orar por vós, e de pedir que sejaes cheios do conhecimento da sua vontade, em toda a sabedoria e intelligencia espiritual;
10 that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in every way, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Para que possaes andar dignamente diante do Senhor, agradando-lhe em tudo, fructificando em toda a boa obra, e crescendo no conhecimento de Deus;
11 strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy;
Corroborados em toda a fortaleza, segundo a força da sua gloria, em toda a paciencia, e longanimidade com gozo;
12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light;
Dando graças ao Pae que nos fez idoneos de participar da herança dos sanctos na luz.
13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and transferred us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;
O qual nos tirou da potestade das trevas, e nos transportou para o reino do Filho do seu amor;
14 in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins;
No qual temos a redempção pelo seu sangue, a saber, a remissão dos peccados;
15 who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
O qual é imagem do Deus invisivel, o primogenito de toda a creatura.
16 For by him all things were created, in the heavens and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities; all things have been created by him and for him.
Porque por elle foram creadas todas as coisas que ha nos céus e na terra, visiveis e invisiveis, sejam thronos, sejam dominações, sejam principados, sejam potestades: todas as coisas foram creadas por elle e para elle.
17 He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.
E elle é antes de todas as coisas, e todas as coisas subsistem por elle.
18 He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
E elle é a cabeça do corpo da egreja: é o principio e o primogenito d'entre os mortos, para que entre todos tenha a preeminencia.
19 For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him,
Porque foi do agrado do Pae que toda a plenitude n'elle habitasse;
20 and through him to reconcile all things to himself, making peace through the blood of his cross through him, whether things on the earth or things in heaven.
E que, havendo por elle feito a paz pelo sangue da sua cruz, por elle reconciliasse comsigo mesmo todas as coisas, tanto as que estão na terra, como as que estão nos céus.
21 You, who once were alienated and were hostile in your minds, doing evil deeds,
A vós tambem, que d'antes ereis estranhos, e inimigos no entendimento, em obras más, agora todavia vos reconciliou,
22 yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and blameless before him,
No corpo da sua carne, pela morte, para perante si vos apresentar sanctos, e irreprehensiveis, e inculpaveis,
23 if it is so that you continue in the faith, established and firm, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which is being proclaimed in all creation under heaven; of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
Se, todavia, permanecerdes fundados e firmes na fé, e não vos moverdes da esperança do evangelho que tendes ouvido, o qual é prégado a toda a creatura que ha debaixo do céu, e do qual eu, Paulo, estou feito ministro.
24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and I am completing in my flesh what is lacking in the sufferings of Meshikha for the sake of his body, which is the church;
Regozijo-me agora no que padeço por vós, e cumpro na minha carne o resto das afflicções de Christo, pelo seu corpo, que é a egreja;
25 of which I was made a servant, according to the stewardship of God which was given me toward you, to fulfill the word of God,
Da qual eu estou feito ministro segundo a dispensação de Deus, que me foi concedida para comvosco, para cumprir a palavra de Deus;
26 the mystery which has been hidden for ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to his saints. (aiōn g165)
O mysterio que esteve occulto desde todos os seculos, e em todas as gerações, e que agora foi manifesto aos seus sanctos; (aiōn g165)
27 To them God was pleased to make known the glorious riches of this mystery among the non-Jews, which is Meshikha in you, the hope of glory;
Aos quaes Deus quiz fazer conhecer quaes são as riquezas da gloria d'este mysterio entre os gentios, que é Christo em vós, esperança da gloria:
28 whom we proclaim, admonishing everyone and teaching everyone all wisdom, that we may present everyone perfect in Meshikha Yeshua;
O qual annunciámos, admoestando a todo o homem, e ensinando a todo o homem em toda a sabedoria; para que apresentemos todo o homem perfeito em Jesus Christo;
29 for which I also labor, struggling according to his power, which works in me mightily.
No que tambem trabalho, combatendo segundo a sua efficacia, que obra em mim poderosamente.
