Amos 7
1 This is what the LORD showed me: And look, he formed locusts in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and look, it was the latter growth after the king's harvest.
Сице показа ми Господь Бог, и се, приплод пружий идый утренний, и се, гусеница, един Гог царь.
2 It happened that, when they made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, "Lord GOD, forgive, I beg you. How could Jacob stand? For he is small."
И будет, аще скончает ядый траву земную, и рех: Господи, Господи, милостив буди, кто возставит Иакова? Яко мал есть.
3 The LORD relented concerning this. "It shall not be," says the LORD.
Раскайся о сем, Господи: и сие не будет, глаголет Господь.
4 This is what the LORD showed me: And look, the LORD called for judgment by fire; and it dried up the great deep, and would have devoured the land.
Сице показа ми Господь, и се, призва прю во огни Господь Бог, и пояде бездну многу, и пояде часть.
5 Then I said, "LORD, stop, I beg you. How could Jacob stand? For he is small."
И рех: Господи, Господи, престани ныне, кто возставит Иакова? Яко мал есть.
6 The LORD relented concerning this. "This also shall not be," says the LORD.
Раскайся о сем, Господи: и сие не будет, глаголет Господь.
7 This is what the LORD showed me: And look, he was standing beside a wall built with a plumb line, with a plumb line in his hand.
Сице показа ми Господь: и се, Муж стояй на ограде адамантове, и в руце Его адамант.
8 And the LORD said to me, "Amos, what do you see?" And I said, "A plumb line." Then the LORD said, "Look, I have set a plumb line in the midst of my people Israel. I will not again pass by them any more.
И рече Господь ко мне: что ты видиши, Амосе? И рех: адамант. И рече Господь ко мне: се, Аз учиню адаманта среде людий Моих Израиля, ктому не приложу, еже мимоити его:
9 The high places of Isaac will be desolate, the sanctuaries of Israel will be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword."
и потребятся требища смеха, и требы Израилевы опустеют, и востану на дом Иеровоамль со оружием.
10 Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, "Amos has conspired against you in the midst of the house of Israel. The land is not able to bear all his words.
И посла Амасиа жрец Вефильский ко Иеровоаму царю Израилеву глаголя: развраты творит на тя Амос среде дому Израилева, не возможет земля подяти всех словес его,
11 For Amos says, 'Jeroboam will die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of his land.'"
понеже сия глаголет Амос: оружием скончается Иеровоам, Израиль же пленен отведется от земли своея.
12 Amaziah also said to Amos, "You seer, go, flee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:
И рече Амасиа ко Амосови: видяй гряди и отиди ты на землю Иудину, и тамо живи, и тамо да прорицаеши:
13 but do not prophesy again any more at Bethel; for it is the king's sanctuary, and it is a royal house."
а в Вефили посем не приложи прорицати, яко освящение царя есть и дом есть царства.
14 Then Amos answered Amaziah, "I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was a herdsman, and a farmer of sycamore figs;
И отвеща Амос и рече ко Амасии: не бех пророк аз, ниже сын пророчь, но пастырь бех и ягодичия обирая:
15 and the LORD took me from following the flock, and the LORD said to me, 'Go, prophesy to my people Israel.'
и поя мя Господь от овец и рече ко мне: иди и прорцы на люди Моя Израиля.
16 Now therefore listen to the word of the LORD: 'You say, Do not prophesy against Israel, and do not proclaim against the house of Isaac.'
И ныне слыши слово Господне: ты глаголеши: не прорицай на Израиля и не возмущай народа на дом Иаковль:
17 Therefore thus says the LORD: 'Your wife shall be a prostitute in the city, and your sons and your daughters shall fall by the sword, and your land shall be divided by line; and you yourself shall die in a land that is unclean, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of his land.'"
сего ради сия глаголет Господь: жена твоя во граде соблудит, сынове же твои и дщери оружием падут, и земля твоя ужем измерится, и ты на земли нечистей скончаешися, и Израиль пленен отведется от земли своея.
