Acts 1
1 The first account I wrote, Theophilus, concerned all that Yeshua began both to do and to teach,
೧ಥೆಯೊಫಿಲನೇ, ನಾನು ಮೊದಲು ಬರೆದ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ, ಯೇಸು ತಾನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರಿಗೆ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟು,
2 until the day in which he was received up, after he had given commandment through the Rukha d'Qudsha to the apostles whom he had chosen.
೨ಆತನು ಸ್ವರ್ಗಾರೋಹಣವಾದ ದಿನದವರೆಗೆ ಆತನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಉಪದೇಶಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೋಧನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
3 To these he also showed himself alive after he suffered, by many proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days, and speaking about God's Kingdom.
೩ಯೇಸುವು ಬಾಧೆಪಟ್ಟು ಸತ್ತ ನಂತರ ತಾನು ಜೀವಂತನಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಅನೇಕ ಸಂಭವಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ತಾನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದನು. ಸತತವಾಗಿ ನಲವತ್ತು ದಿನಗಳ ತನಕ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದನು.
4 Being assembled together with them, he commanded them, "Do not depart from Urishlim, but wait for the promise of the Father, which you heard from me.
೪ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಂದುಗೂಡಿದ್ದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, “ನೀವು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋಗದೆ, ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿದಂಥ ಮತ್ತು ತಂದೆಯು ಮಾಡಿದ ವಾಗ್ದಾನಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲೇ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿರಿ,
5 For Yukhanan indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Rukha d'Qudsha not many days from now."
೫ಏಕೆಂದರೆ, ಯೋಹಾನನಂತೂ ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು ಆದರೆ ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನಿಂದ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನವಾಗುವುದು” ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked him, "Lord, are you now restoring the kingdom to Israyel?"
೬ಕೂಡಿಬಂದವರು ಆತನನ್ನು, “ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ಇದೇ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಜನರಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವಿಯೋ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು
7 He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has set within his own authority.
೭ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ತಂದೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಕಾಲಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸಮಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯವಲ್ಲ.
8 But you will receive power when the Rukha d'Qudsha has come upon you. You will be my witnesses in Urishlim, in all Yehuda and Samaria, and to the farthest part of the earth."
೮ಆದರೆ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಲು ನೀವು ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವರಾಗಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಯೂದಾಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯು, ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ಸೀಮೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಭೂಲೋಕದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೂ ನನಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಾಗಿರುವಿರಿ” ಅಂದನು.
9 When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.
೯ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ಅವರು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆತನು ಪರಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು, ಮೋಡವೊಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕವಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಯೇಸುವು ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಮರೆಯಾದನು.
10 While they were looking steadfastly into the sky as he went, look, two men stood by them in white clothing,
೧೦ಆತನು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಅವರು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಇರಲಾಗಿ ಶುಭ್ರ ವಸ್ತ್ರಧಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಪುರುಷರು ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಅವರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡರು.
11 who also said, "You men of Galila, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Yeshua, who was received up from you into the sky will come back in the same way as you saw him going into the sky."
೧೧“ಗಲಿಲಾಯದವರೇ, ನೀವು ಏಕೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದೀರಿ? ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಆಕಾಶದೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಈ ಯೇಸುವು ಯಾವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಕಾಶದೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕಂಡಿರೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆತನು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬರುವನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
12 Then they returned to Urishlim from the mountain called Olivet, which is near Urishlim, a Sabbath day's journey away.
೧೨ಆಗ ಅವರು ಆಲೀವ್ ಮರಗಳ ಗುಡ್ಡದಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದರು. ಆ ಗುಡ್ಡಕ್ಕೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಮಾಡುವಷ್ಟು ದೂರವಿತ್ತು.
13 When they had come in, they went up into the upper room, where they were staying; that is Kipha, Yukhanan, Yaquv, Andreus, Philipus, Tama, Bar-Tulmai, Mattai, Yehudah the son of Khalphai, Shimon the Zealot, and Yehudah the son of Yaquv.
೧೩ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ತಾವು ವಾಸಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮೇಲಂತಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು; ಅವರು ಯಾರಾರೆಂದರೆ, ಪೇತ್ರ, ಯೋಹಾನ, ಯಾಕೋಬ, ಅಂದ್ರೆಯ, ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪ, ತೋಮ, ಬಾರ್ತೊಲೊಮಾಯ, ಮತ್ತಾಯ, ಅಲ್ಫಾಯನ ಮಗ ಯಾಕೋಬ, ಮತಾಭಿಮಾನಿ ಎನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಸೀಮೋನ, ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಯೂದ, ಇವರೇ.
14 All these with one accord continued steadfastly in prayer, along with the women, and Maryam the mother of Yeshua, and with his brothers.
೧೪ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ಮಂದಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರೂ, ಯೇಸುವಿನ ತಾಯಿಯಾದ ಮರಿಯಳೂ, ಆತನ ತಮ್ಮಂದಿರೂ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದರು, ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಏಕಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
15 In these days, Kipha stood up in the midst of the brothers (and the number of names was about one hundred twenty), and said,
೧೫ಆ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು ನೂರಿಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿಗಳು ಕೂಡಿಬಂದಿರಲಾಗಿ ಪೇತ್ರನು ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದು ನಿಂತು ಹೀಗೆಂದನು,
16 "Brothers, it was necessary that this Scripture should be fulfilled, which the Rukha d'Qudsha spoke before by the mouth of Dawid concerning Yehudah, who was guide to those who took Yeshua.
೧೬“ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದವರಿಗೆ ದಾರೀತೋರಿಸಿದ ಯೂದನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನು ದಾವೀದನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಮೊದಲೇ ಹೇಳಿಸಿದ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವಚನವು ನೆರವೇರುವುದು ಅವಶ್ಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
17 For he was numbered with us, and received his portion in this ministry.
೧೭ಯೂದನು ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಈ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲು ಹೊಂದಿದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.”
18 Now this man obtained a field with the reward for his wickedness, and falling headfirst his body burst open, and all his intestines gushed out.
೧೮(ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ದ್ರೋಹದ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವಾಗಿ ಹೊಲವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು ಮತ್ತು ತಲೆಕೆಳಗಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ ಒಡೆದು ಕರುಳುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊರಗೆ ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದವು.
19 It became known to everyone who lived in Urishlim that in their language that field was called 'Khaqel-Dema,' that is, 'The field of blood.'
೧೯ಇದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಿಳಿದುಬಂದುದರಿಂದ ಆ ಹೊಲಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಅಕೆಲ್ದಾಮಾ,’ ಅಂದರೆ ರಕ್ತದ ಹೊಲ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರು ಬಂದಿತು.)
20 For it is written in the scroll of Psalms, 'Let his habitation be made desolate, and let no one dwell in it;' and, 'Let another take his office.'
೨೦ಅವನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ, ಅವನ ಮನೆ ಹಾಳಾಗಲಿ, ಅದು ಜನರಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಪಾಳುಬೀಳಲಿ ಎಂತಲೂ ಅವನ ನಾಯಕತ್ವದ ಹುದ್ದೆಯು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗಾಗಲಿ ಎಂತಲೂ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ.
21 "Of the men therefore who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Yeshua went in and out among us,
೨೧ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದಕಾಲವೆಲ್ಲಾ, ಅಂದರೆ ಯೋಹಾನನು ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ್ದು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಯೇಸು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಪರಲೋಕವನ್ನೇರಿ ಹೋದ ದಿನದ ವರೆಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರೊಳಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬನು ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆತನ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನದ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಹೇಳುವವನಾಗಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು
22 beginning from the baptism of Yukhanan, to the day that he was received up from us, of these one must become a witness with us of his resurrection."

23 They put forward two, Yauseph called Bar-Shaba, who was surnamed Justus, and Matiya.
೨೩ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅವರು ಯೂಸ್ತನೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಬಾರ್ನಬನೆಂಬ ಯೋಸೇಫನನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತೀಯನನ್ನೂ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ,
24 They prayed, and said, "You, Lord, who know the hearts of all people, show which one of these two you have chosen
೨೪“ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಎಲ್ಲರ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲಾತನೇ, ಯೂದನು ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲತನವೆಂಬ ಈ ಸೇವಾಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟನಾಗಿ ತಾನು ಹೋಗ ತಕ್ಕ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಆ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಇಬ್ಬರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಆರಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡವನನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಡು” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದರು.
25 to take part in this ministry and office of apostle from which Yehudah turned away to go to his own place."

26 They drew lots for them, and the lot fell on Matya, and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
೨೬ಆನಂತರ ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಚೀಟುಹಾಕಿದರು; ಚೀಟು ಮತ್ತೀಯನ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಹನ್ನೊಂದು ಮಂದಿ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡನು.
