< Acts 9 >
1 But Shaul, still breathing threats and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest,
Gene mobhago a Shauli bhatendaga punda kujogoya bhalikwabhulaganga bhaajiganywa bha Bhakulungwa. Gubhapite ku Bhakulungwa Bhaabhishila,
2 and asked for letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Urishlim.

3 As he traveled, it happened that he got close to Damascus, and suddenly a light from the sky shone around him.
Ikabheje bhali mumpanda tome na ika ku Dameshiki, shangupe shilangaya kopoka kunnungu shikwamulishilaga mmbali yowe.
4 And he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, "Shaul, Shaul, why do you persecute me?"
Gubhagwile pai gubhapilikene lilobhe lilikwabhalanjila, “Shauli! Shauli! Pakuti unamboteka?”
5 And he said, "Who are you, Lord?" And he said, "I am Yeshua, whom you are persecuting.
A Shauli gubhabhushiye, “Mmakulungwa, mmwe agani?” Gubhajangwilwe, “Nne a Yeshu nkumbotekajo.
6 But rise up, and enter into the city, and you will be told what you must do."
Ikabheje nnaino ujime, ujende kunnjini kweneko shiubhalanjilwe shiupinjikwa kutenda.”
7 The men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the sound, but seeing no one.
Bhandunji bhalongenenje na a Shauli bhala, gubhajimingenenje ilili, bhakakwetenjeje shabheleketa, lilobhe lila bhalipilikenenje ikabheje bhangammonanga abheleketaga.
8 Shaul arose from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could not see anything. They led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
A Shauli gubhajimi, bhakabhalakuleje meyo bhangashibhona shindu shoshowe, kwa nneyo bhandunji bhala gubhaakamwilenje nkono nikwalongoya mpaka kunjini ku Dameshiki.
9 He was without sight for three days, and neither ate nor drank.
A Shauli gubhatemi mobha gatatu gwangali lola, gene mobhago bhangalya wala kung'wa shoshowe.
10 Now there was a certain disciple at Damascus named Khananya. The Lord said to him in a vision, "Khananya." And he said, "Look, it's me, Lord."
Bhai, ku Dameshiki kula ashinkupagwa nkujiganywa jumo ashemwaga a Anania. Bhakulungwa gubhammalanjile nng'agamii “a Anania!” A Ananiya gubhajitishe, “Nne apano, Mmakulungwa.”
11 The Lord said to him, "Arise, and go to the street which is called Straight, and inquire in the house of Yehudah for one named Shaul, a man of Tarsus. For look, he is praying,
Bhakulungwa gubhaabhalanjile, “Nnjabhule nnjende kumpanda ushemwa Mpanda gwa Goloka mpaka kunyumba ja a Yuda nkaabhushishiye bhandu bha ku Tasho bhaashemwa a Shauli, nnaino bhanajuga Nnungu,
12 and in a vision he has seen a man named Khananya coming in, and laying his hands on him, that he might receive his sight."
na bhalabho a Shauli ng'agamii bhashinkwaabhona bhandu bhashemwa a Anania bhalijinjila nnyumba nikwaabhishila makono nkupinga bhalole kabhili.”
13 But Khananya answered, "Lord, I have heard from many about this man, how much evil he did to your saints at Urishlim.
Ikabheje a Anania gubhajangwile, “Mmakulungwa, njipilikana kubhandu bhabhagwinji ngani jangali jambone ja bhene bhandubho, ga ibhaatendangaga bhandu bha Ukonjelo bhenu ku Yelushalemu.
14 Here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all who call on your name."
Na bhashikwiya apano bhabhapegwe amuli kukopoka kubhakulungwanji bha bhaabhishila ja kwaakamulanga bhakunkulupalilanga mmwe a Yeshu.”
15 But the Lord said to him, "Go your way, for he is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the nations and kings, and the people of Israyel.
Ikabheje Bhakulungwa gubhaabhalanjile, “Nnjendepe, pabha njikwaagula bhabhe bhatumishi bhangu, bhapite lunguya lina lyangu kubhandunji bha ilambo ina na kubhanangulungwa bhabhonji na ku bha Ishilaeli.
16 For I will show him how many things he must suffer for my name's sake."
Nne namwene shinaalanguye shibhapinga potekwa kwa ligongo lya lina lyangu.”
17 Khananya departed, and entered into the house. Laying his hands on him, he said, "Brother Shaul, the Lord, who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me, that you may receive your sight, and be filled with the Rukha d'Qudsha."
Bhai, a Anania gubhapitejinjila nnyumbamo. Kungai gubhaabhishile makono a Shauli, gubhashite, “Apwanga a Shauli, Bhakulungwa a Yeshu bhankoposhele mumpanda nnikwiya apano, bhashinduma nimmishile makono nkupinga nnole kabhili na nngumbaywe naka Mbumu jwa Ukonjelo.”
18 Immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he received his sight. He arose and was baptized.
Shangupe indu mbuti ipande ikugwaga kukopoka mmeyo ga a Shauli, gubhalolile kabhili, gubhajimi gubhabhatishwe.
19 He took food and was strengthened. He stayed several days with the disciples who were at Damascus.
Bhakalyeje shalya gubhakwete mashili kabhili. A Shauli gubhatemi ku Dameshiki mobha gashoko na bhaajiganywa bhapalinji pepala.
20 Immediately in the synagogues he proclaimed Yeshua, that he is the Son of God.
Shangupe gubhatandwibhe kulunguya nnyumba ya jujila Nnungu kuti, a Yeshu Bhanabhabho a Nnungu.
21 All who heard him were amazed, and said, "Is not this he who in Urishlim made havoc of those who called on this name? And he had come here intending to bring them bound before the chief priests."
Bhandu bhowe bhaapilikenenje gubhakanganigwenje, gubhashitenje, “Bhuli, bhenebha nngabha bhaabhulegenje bhakwaakulupalilanga a Yeshu ku Yelushalemu? Bhashinkwiya apano bhatumbilile kukwakamulanga bhene bhandunjibho nkupinga bhaapelekanje ku bhakulungwanji bha bhaabhishila!”
22 But Shaul increased more in strength, and confounded the Jews who lived at Damascus, proving that this is the Meshikha.
A Shauli gubhapundile kukola mashili na bhalikong'ondela kuti a Yeshu ni a Kilishitu, Bhayaudi bha ku Dameshiki gubhakanganigwenje kwa kaje.
23 When many days were fulfilled, the Jews conspired together to kill him,
Gakapiteje mobha gamagwinji, Bhayaudi gubhaimenenje nkuloleya mwa kwabhulajila a Shauli.
24 but their plot became known to Shaul. They watched the gates both day and night that they might kill him,
Ikabheje a Shauli gubhapilikene malobhe gala. Bhandu bhatendaga kwaajubhililanga shilo na mui mmilango ja jinjilila nshilambomo, nkupinga bhaabhulaganje.
25 but his disciples took him by night, and let him down through the wall, lowering him in a basket.
Ikabheje malanga ga shilo bhaajiganywa bhabho gubhaatolilenje, gubhaatuluyenje pai nshikapu shashikulungwa kupitila likumba lya lugwani.
26 When Shaul had come to Urishlim, he tried to join himself to the disciples; but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.
A Shauli bhakaisheje ku Yelushalemu gubhalinjile kwiilunda munkumbi gwa bhaajiganywa bhala ikabheje, bhowe gubhaajogopenje na jwakwa akulupalile kuti nabhalabho bhashibha bhaajiganywa.
27 But Bar-Naba took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared to them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how at Damascus he had preached boldly in the name of Yeshua.
Penepo a Bhanabha gubhaishe kukwaatola a Shauli, gubhaapeleshe kwa ashimitume na gubhatalashiye, a Shauli shibhashite kwaabhona Bhakulungwa nikunguluka nabho. Na kabhili gubhalugwile ga a Shauli kulunguya ku Dameshiki gwangali bhoga kwa lina lya a Yeshu.
28 He was with them coming in and going out in Urishlim, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord.
Bhai, a Shauli gubhatemi nabhonji, bhaliowa pa Yelushalemu powe pita lunguya lilobhe lya a Nnungu gwangali lipamba kwa lina lya a Yeshu.
29 He spoke and disputed against the Hellenists, but they were seeking to kill him.
Na kabhili bhatendaga taukangana na Bhayaudi bhabheleketangaga Shigiliki, na gubhalinjilenje kwaabhulaga.
30 When the brothers knew it, they brought him down to Qesarya, and sent him off to Tarsus.
Bhaajiganywa bhala bhakapilikananjeje genego, gubhaatolilenje a Shauli, gubhaapelekenje ku Kaishalia, gubhaaleshilenje bhajende ku Tasho.
31 So the church throughout all Yehuda and Galila and Samaria had peace, and were built up. They were multiplied, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Rukha d'Qudsha.
Gene mobhago bhandunji bha a Nnungu gubhatemingenenje kwa ulele, kutandubhila ku Yudea na ku Galilaya na ku Shamalia. Bhandunji bha a Nnungu gubhapundilenje kujenjesheka akuno bhalishimilikwanga na bhalikwaajogopanga a Nnungu bhalitagwanga ntima naka Mbumu jwa Ukonjelo.
32 It happened, as Kipha went throughout all those parts, he came down also to the saints who lived at Lud.
A Petili bhali nkujima jima kila mmbali gubhaishe kubhandunji bha ukonjelo bhatamanganaga ku Lida.
33 There he found a certain man named Aniyas, who had been bedridden for eight years, because he was paralyzed.
Kweneko gubhanng'imene mundu jumo ashemwaga a Ainea, jwenejo kwa yaka nng'ano na itatu akakombolaga kushoka pashinanda kwa ligongo lya poloka.
34 Kipha said to him, "Aniyas, Yeshua Meshikha heals you. Get up and make your bed." Immediately he arose.
Bhai, a Petili gubhaabhalanjile, “A Ainea, a Yeshu Kilishitu bhanakunnamya. Njumushe, ntandishe shinanda shenu.” Shangupe, a Ainea gubhajimi.
35 All who lived at Lud and in Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.
Bhashilambo bhowe bha ku Lida na ku Shaloni bhakaabhonanjeje a Ainea, gubhaatendebhushilenje Bhakulungwa.
36 Now there was at Yupi a certain disciple named Tabitha (which when translated, means Dorcas). This woman was full of good works and acts of mercy which she did.
Bhashinkupagwa bhaajiganywa bhamo bhakongwe ku Yapa bhashemwaga a Tabhita, kwa Shigiliki a Dolikashi, malombolelo gakwe, mbala. Bhene bhakongwebho bhatendaga tenda ya uguja na mobha gowe bhatendaga kwaajangutilanga bhaalaga.
37 It happened in those days that she fell sick, and died. When they had washed her, they placed her in an upper chamber.
Gene mobhago bhakulwalaga, gubhawile. Bhandunji gubhakundilenje maiti gabho, gubhagagonekenje kukati jaliji kugolopa.
38 As Lud was near Yupi, the disciples, hearing that Kipha was there, sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to us.
Na pabha ku Yapa kwangatalikangana kaje na ku Lida, kwa nneyo bhaajiganywa bhakapilikananjeje kuti a Petili kubhali ku Lida, gubhaatumilenje bhantenga bhabhili bhakalugulanje kuti, “Shangu nnjiye kunngwetu.”
39 Kipha got up and went with them. When he had come, they brought him into the upper chamber. All the widows stood by him weeping, and showing the coats and garments which Dorcas had made while she was with them.
Bhai, a Petili gubhajabhwile gubhalongene nabhonji. Bhakaisheje gubhapelekwe kugolopa mpaka kukati kula. Kweneko bhanabhakongwe bhabhagwinji bhashitenga gubhaatimbililenje a Petili bhaligutanga akuno bhalikwaalanguyanga magauni na nngubho ibhaalayaga a Dolikashi pubhaliji bhakoto.
40 Kipha put them all out, and kneeled down and prayed. Turning to the body, he said, "Tabitha, get up." She opened her eyes, and when she saw Kipha, she sat up.
A Petili gubhaakopoyenje palanga bhandu bhowe, gubhatindibhele, gubhajujile Nnungu. Kungai gubhagatendebhushile maiti gala gubhashite, “A Tabhita, nnjumushe.” Nabhalabho gubhabhalakwile meyo na bhakaabhoneje a Petili gubhajinwishe nitama.
41 He gave her his hand, and raised her up. Calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive.
A Petili gubhaakamwile nkono nikwaajinula, kungai gubhaashemilenje bhandunji bha ukonjelo na bhashitenga bhala, gubhaakamuyenje bhali bhabhakoto.
42 And it became known throughout all Yupi, and many believed in the Lord.
Jene nganijo gujishumile mmbali yowe ya ku Yapa na bhandunji bhabhagwinji bhakwaakulupalilangaga Bhakulungwa.
43 It happened, that he stayed many days in Yupi with one Shimon, a tanner.
A Petili gubhatemi mobha gashoko ku Yapa, ku bhandu bhamo bhabhamba mapende lina lyabho a Shimoni.
