< Acts 7 >
1 The high priest said, "Are these things so?"
Kinuna ti kangatoan a padi, “Pudno kadi dagitoy a banbanag?”
2 He said, "Brothers and fathers, listen. The God of glory appeared to our father Avraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran,
Kinuna ni Esteban, “Kakabsat ken amma, dumngegkayo kaniak: Nagparang ti nadayag a Dios iti amatayo a ni Abraham idi adda isuna idiay Mesopotamia, sakbay a nagnaed isuna idiay Haran;
3 and said to him, 'Go out from your land and from your relatives, and come into a land which I will show you.'
kinunana kenkuana, “Panawam ti dagam ken dagiti kakabagiam, ket mapanka iti daga nga ipakitakto kenka.
4 Then he came out of the land of the Kasdim, and lived in Haran. From there, after his father died, he moved him into this land, where you are now living.
Ket pimmanaw isuna iti daga dagiti Caldeo ket nagnaed idiay Haran; manipud sadiay, kalpasan ti ipapatay ti amana, inyeg isuna ti Dios iti daytoy a daga a pagnanaedanyo ita.
5 He gave him no inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on. He promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his descendants after him, when he still had no child.
Awan iti daytoy ti intedna a kas tawid kenkuana, awan, awan ti uray umanay laeng a pagbaddekan ti saka. Ngem inkarina - uray no awan pay laeng iti anak ni Abraham - nga itednanto ti daga kenkuana ken kadagiti kaputotanna a sumaruno kenkuana kas sanikuana.
6 But God spoke in this way, 'His descendants will live as strangers in a foreign land, and that they will be slaves and mistreated, for four hundred years.
Nagsasao ti Dios kenkuana iti kas iti daytoy, nga agnaedto dagiti kaputotanna iti sabali a daga, iti adu a tawen, ken tagabuento ida dagiti tattao sadiay ken parigatendanto ida iti las-ud iti uppat a gasut a tawen.
7 But I will judge the nation to which they will be in bondage,' said God, 'and after that will they come out, and serve me in this place.'
Ket ukomekto ti pagilian a pagbalinanda a tagabu,' kinuna ti Dios, 'ket kalpasan dayta, rummuardanto ken agdayawdanto kaniak iti daytoy a lugar.'
8 He gave him the covenant of circumcision. So Avraham became the father of Iskhaq, and circumcised him the eighth day. Iskhaq became the father of Yaquv, and Yaquv became the father of the twelve patriarchs.
Ket intedna kenni Abraham ti tulag iti pannakakugit, ket naaddaan ni Abraham iti putot nga isu ni Isaac ket kinugitna isuna iti maikawalo nga aldaw; imputot met ni Isaac ni Jacob, ket imputot met ni Jacob dagiti sangapulo ket dua a nalatak a kapuonan iti puli.
9 "The patriarchs, moved with jealousy against Yauseph, sold him into Egypt; and God was with him,
iti apal, napagandat dagiti kapuonan ti puli a maibusor kenni Jose ket inlakoda isuna idiay Egipto, ket ti Dios adda kenkuana,
10 and delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh, king of Egypt. He made him governor over Egypt and all his house.
insalakanna isuna manipud kadagiti amin a panagsagsagabana, ken pinagbalinna isuna a makaay-ayo ken nasirib iti imatang ni Faraon, nga ari iti Egipto. Pinagbalin isuna ni Faraon a gobernador iti Egipto ken iti entero a sangkabalayanna.
11 Now a famine came over all Egypt and Canaan, and great affliction, and our fathers found no food.
Ita, adda dimteng a panagbisin iti entero nga Egipto ken Canaan ken nakaro a panagsaba: ket awan ti nasarakan dagiti ammatayo a taraon.
12 But when Yaquv heard that there was grain in Egypt, he sent out our fathers the first time.
Ngem idi nangngegan ni Jacob nga adda trigo idiay Egipto, imbaonna dagiti amaentayo iti umuna a gundaway.
13 On the second time Yauseph was made known to his brothers, and Joseph's family became known to Pharaoh.
Iti maikadua a gundaway, impakaammo ni Jose ti bagina kadagiti kakabsatna; ket naam-ammo ni Faraon ti pamilia ni Jose.
14 Then Yauseph sent, and summoned Yaquv, his father, and all his relatives, seventy-five souls.
Imbaon ni Jose dagiti kakabsatna a mapanda ibaga kenni Jacob nga amana nga umay isuna idiay Egipto, kasta met dagiti amin a kakabagianna, pito-pulo ket limada amin.
15 Yaquv went down into Egypt, and he died, himself and our fathers,
Napan ngarud ni Jacob idiay Egipto; ket natay isuna, isuna ken dagiti ammatayo.
16 and they were brought back to Shechem, and placed in the tomb that Avraham bought for a price in silver from the children of Hamor in Shechem.
Naiyakarda idiay Sikem ket naipunponda idiay tanem a ginatang ni Abraham iti pirak manipud kadagiti annak ni Hamor idiay Sikem.
17 "But as the time of the promise came close which God had made to Avraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,
Idi ngannganin ti tiempo nga inkari ti Dios kenni Abraham, dimmakkel ken immadu dagitoy a tattao idiay Egipto,
18 until 'there arose a different king over Egypt, who did not know Yauseph.'
agingga a nagturay iti Egipto ti maysa nga ari a saan a makaammo iti maipanggep kenni Jose.
19 The same took advantage of our race, and mistreated our fathers, and forced them to throw out their babies, so that they would not stay alive.
Inallilaw daytoy nga ari dagiti tattaotayo ken rinanggasanna dagiti amaentayo, isu nga tapno agbiagda, uray da la ibelleng iti ruar dagiti maladagada.
20 At that time Mushe was born, and was exceedingly handsome. He was nourished three months in his father's house.
Iti dayta a tiempo, naipasngay ni Moises; nakaim-imnas unay isuna iti imatang ti Dios ket naaywanan isuna iti las-ud iti tallo a bulan iti balay ti amana.
21 When he was thrown out, Pharaoh's daughter took him up, and reared him as her own son.
Idi naibelleng isuna iti ruar, innala isuna iti anak a babai ni Faraon ket pinadakkelna isuna a kas bukodna nga anak.
22 Mushe was instructed in all the wisdom of the Egyptians. He was mighty in his words and works.
Naadal ni Moises dagiti amin a sursuro dagiti Egipcio; ken nabileg isuna iti sasao ken ar-aramid.
23 But when he was forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brothers, the people of Israyel.
Ngem idi agarup uppat a pulo ti tawenna, immay iti panunotna a sarungkaranna dagiti kakabsatna a lallaki, dagiti annak ti Israel.
24 Seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him, and avenged him who was oppressed, striking the Egyptian.
Iti pannakakitana iti saan a nasayaat a pannakatrato iti maysa nga Israelita, inkanawana isuna ken imbalesanna isuna a naparigat, babaen iti panangpatayna iti Egipcio:
25 He supposed that his brothers understood that God, by his hand, was giving them deliverance; but they did not understand.
impagarupna a maawatan dagiti kakabasatna nga isalakan ida ti Dios babaen iti imana, ngem saanda a naawatan.
26 "The day following, he appeared to them as they fought, and urged them to be at peace again, saying, 'Men, you are brothers. Why do you wrong one another?'
Iti simmaruno nga aldaw, adda nadanunanna nga Israelita a madama nga agap-apa; pinadasna ida a pagkapia-en; kinunana, 'Lallaki, agkabsatkayo; apay a dangranyo iti tunggal maysa?'
27 But he who did his neighbor wrong pushed him away, saying, 'Who made you a ruler and a judge over us?
Ngem daydiay nangdangran iti karrubana, induronna isuna ket kinunana, 'Siasino iti namagbalin kenka a mangituray ken ukom kadakami?
28 Do you want to kill me, as you killed the Egyptian yesterday?'
Kayatnak met kadi a patayen iti Egipcio idi kalman?'
29 Mushe fled at this saying, and became a stranger in the land of Medyan, where he became the father of two sons.
Timmaray ni Moises kalpasan a nangngeganna daytoy; nagbalin isuna a ganggannaet iti daga ti Midian, a nagbalinanna nga ama iti dua nga annak a lallaki.
30 "When forty years were fulfilled, an angel appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, in a flame of fire in a bush.
Idi napalabas iti uppat a pulo a tawen, adda anghel a nagparang kenkuana idiay let-ang iti Bantay Sinai, iti gil-ayab ti apuy iti bassit a kayo.
31 When Mushe saw it, he wondered at the sight. As he came close to see, a voice of the Lord came,
Idi nakita ni Moises ti apuy, nagsiddaaw isuna iti nakitana; ket iti yaasidegna a mangkita iti daytoy, nagsao ti Apo a kunana,
32 'I am the God of your fathers, the God of Avraham, and of Iskhaq, and of Yaquv.' Mushe trembled, and dared not look.
'Siak ti Dios dagiti ammam, ti Dios ni Abraham, ken ni Isaac, ken ni Jacob.' Uray la nagpigerger ni Moises ken saanna a maitured ti kumita.
33 The Lord said to him, 'Take your sandals off of your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.
Kinuna ti Apo kenkuana, 'Ikkatem dagita sandaliasmo, gapu ta ti disso a pagtaktakderam ket nasantoan a disso.
34 I have surely seen the affliction of my people that is in Egypt, and have heard their groaning. I have come down to deliver them. Now come, I will send you to Egypt.'
Pudno a nakitak ti panagsagaba dagiti tattaok nga adda idiay Egipto; Nangngegak dagiti un-unnoyda, ket bimmabaak tapno isalakanko ida; ita umayka, ibaonka idiay Egipto.'
35 "This Mushe, whom they refused, saying, 'Who made you a ruler and a judge?'—God has sent him as both a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.
Daytoy Moises nga inumsida, idi kinunada, 'Siasino ti namagbalin kenka a mangituray ken ukom?' - isuna ti imbaon ti Dios kas mangituray ken mangisalakan. Imbaon isuna ti Dios babaen iti ima ti anghel a nagparang kenni Moises iti bassit a kayo.
36 This man led them out, having worked wonders and signs in Egypt, in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness for forty years.
Indaulloan ida ni Moises a pimmanaw idiay Egipto, kalpasan a nangar-aramid isuna kadagiti milagro ken pagilasinan idiay Egipto ken iti Baybay dagiti Runo, ken idiay let-ang bayat iti uppat a pulo a tawen.
37 This is that Mushe, who said to the people of Israyel, 'God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers, like me.'
Daytoy metlaeng a Moises ti nangibaga kadagiti tattao iti Israel iti, 'Mangpataudto ti Dios iti profeta para kadakayo manipud kadagiti kakabasatyo a lallaki, maysa a profeta a kas kaniak.'
38 This is he who was in the assembly in the wilderness with the angel that spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, who received words of life to give to us,
Daytoy ti lalaki nga adda idi iti taripnong idiay let-ang a kaduana ti anghel a nagsao kenkuana idiay Bantay Sinai. Daytoy ti lalaki a kinadkaddua idi dagiti amaentayo; daytoy ti lalaki a nangawat kadagiti sibibiag a sasao tapno itedna kadatayo.
39 to whom our fathers would not be obedient, but rejected him, and turned back in their hearts to Egypt,
Daytoy ti lalaki a saan a kinayat a pagtulnogan dagiti amaentayo; induronda isuna a paadayo manipud kadagiti bagbagida, ket kadagiti puspusoda nagsublida idiay Egipto.
40 saying to Ahrun, 'Make us gods that will go before us, for as for this Mushe, who led us out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.'
Iti dayta a tiempo imbagada ken ni Aaron, 'Iyaramidandakami kadagiti dios a mangidaulo kadakami. No maipapan iti daytoy a Moises, a nangidaulo kadatayo a pumanaw iti daga ti Egipto, saanmi nga ammo no ania iti napasamak kenkuana.'
41 They made a calf in those days, and brought a sacrifice to the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their hands.
Isu a nangaramidda iti urbon a baka kadagidiay nga al-aldaw ket nangiyegda iti daton iti didiosen, ket nagragsakda gapu iti inaramid dagiti imada.
42 But God turned, and gave them over to worship the host of heaven, as it is written in the book of the prophets, 'Did you offer to me sacrifices and offerings forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israyel?
Ngem timmalikod ti Dios ket binaybay-anna ida nga agdayaw kadagiti bitbituen iti tangatang; kas naisurat iti libro dagiti profeta, 'Nangisagut kadi kaniak kadagiti natay nga atap nga ayup ken kadagiti daton iti uppat a pulo a tawen idiay let-ang, balay ti Israel?
43 You took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Rephan, the images that you made to worship them. Therefore I will exile you beyond Babylon.'
Inawatyo ti tabernakulo ni Molec ken ti bituen iti dios a ni Refan, ken dagiti inaramidyo a kalanglanga ti maysa a banag tapno dayawenyo: Ket ipankayto iti ad-adayo pay ngem iti Babilonia.'
44 "Our fathers had the tabernacle of the testimony in the wilderness, even as he who spoke to Mushe commanded him to make it according to the pattern that he had seen;
Adda idi kadagiti amaentayo ti tabernakulo iti testimonio, idiay let-ang, kas imbilin ti Dios idi imbagana kenni Moises a masapul nga aramidenna daytoy a kas iti pagtuladan a nakitana.
45 which also our fathers, in their turn, brought in with Joshua when they entered into the possession of the nations, whom God drove out before the face of our fathers, to the days of Dawid,
Daytoy ti tolda a dagiti ammaentayo, iti batangda, ket inyegda iti daga a kaduada ni Josue. Napasamak daytoy idi simrekda a nangtagikua kadagiti nasion a pinapanaw ti Dios iti imatang dagiti amaentayo. Kastoyen agingga kadagiti aldaw ni David,
46 who found favor in the sight of God, and asked to find a habitation for the God of Yaquv.
a nakasarak iti pabor iti imatang ti Dios; dinawatna a mangsapul iti pagnaedan a lugar para iti Dios ni Jacob.
47 But Shelemun built him a house.
Ngem ni Solomon ti nangipatakder iti balay para iti Dios.
48 However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says,
Nupay kasta, ti Kangangatoan ket saan nga agnanaed kadagiti balay a naaramid babaen kadagiti im-ima; daytoy ket kas iti ibagbaga iti profeta,
49 'Heaven is my throne, and the earth a footstool for my feet. What kind of house will you build me?' says the Lord; 'or what is the place of my rest?
'Ti langit ti tronok, ket ti lubong, isu ti pagbatayan dagiti saksakak. Ania a kita iti balay ti maipatakdermo para kaniak? kuna ti Apo: Wenno sadino ti lugar a paginanak?
50 Did not my hand make all these things?'
Saan kadi a ti imak ti nangaramid kadagitoy amin a banbanag?'
51 "You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Rukha d'Qudsha. As your fathers did, so you do.
Dakayo a tattao a simikkil ti tengngedna ken saan a nakugit ti puso ken laplapayagna, kanayonyo a suksukiren ti Espiritu Santo; agtigtignaykayo a kas iti pinagtignay dagiti amaenyo.
52 Which of the prophets did not your fathers persecute? They killed those who foretold the coming of the Righteous One, of whom you have now become betrayers and murderers.
Siasino kadagiti profeta ti saan nga indadanes dagiti amaenyo? Pinapatayda dagiti profeta a nagparang sakbay iti iyuumay ti Nalinteg; ket ita, dakayo, kasla liniputan ken pinatayyo met isuna,
53 You received the Law as it was ordained by angels, and did not keep it."
dakayo a tattao nga immawat iti linteg nga impasdek dagiti anghel, ngem saanyo a tinungpal daytoy.”
54 Now when they heard these things, they were furious, and they ground their teeth at him.
Ita, idi nangngegan dagiti kamkameng ti konseho dagitoy a banbanag, nasugat ti pusoda, ket nagngaretngetda dagiti ngipenda kenni Esteban.
55 But he, being full of the Rukha d'Qudsha, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Yeshua standing on the right hand of God.
Ngem isuna, a napnoan iti Espiritu Santo, timmangad ket pimmereng idiay langit ket nakitana ti dayag ti Dios; ket nakitana ni Jesus nga agtaktakder iti makannawan nga ima ti Dios.
56 And he said, "Look, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God."
Kinuna ni Esteban, “Kitaenyo, makitak a naglukat ti langit, ket agtaktakder ti Anak ti Tao iti makanawan nga ima ti Dios.”
57 But they shouted out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and rushed at him with one accord.
Ngem nagpukkaw iti napigsa dagiti kamkameng iti konseho, sinullatanda dagiti lapayagda, ket sangsangkamaysada a nangdarup kenkuana:
58 They threw him out of the city, and stoned him. The witnesses placed their garments at the feet of a young man named Shaul.
impanda isuna iti ruar iti siudad ket binatbatoda isuna: ket indisso dagiti saksi dagiti makinruar a kawesda iti sakaanan ti agtutubo a lalaki a managan Saulo.
59 They stoned Astapanos as he called out, saying, "Lord Yeshua, receive my spirit."
Bayat a batbatoenda ni Esteban, saan a nagsardeng nga immawag iti Apo a kunana, “Apo Jesus, awatem ti espirituk.”
60 He kneeled down, and shouted out, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them." When he had said this, he fell asleep.
Nagparintumeng isuna ket babaen iti napigsa a timek, immawag a kunana, “Apo, saanmo koma ida a pagbayaden gapu iti daytoy a basol.” Idi naisaona daytoy, naturog isuna.
