Acts 4

1 As they spoke to the people, the priests and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees came to them,

१पेत्र आणि योहान लोकांशी बोलत असता, याजक परमेश्वराच्या भवनाची रखवाली करणाऱ्यांच्या सरदार व सदूकी हे त्यांच्यावर चालून आले.

2 being upset because they taught the people and proclaimed in Yeshua the resurrection from the dead.

२कारण ते लोकांस शिक्षण देऊन येशूच्या द्वारे पुनरुत्थान असे उघडपणे सांगत होते म्हणून त्यांना फार संताप आला.

3 They laid hands on them, and put them in custody until the next day, for it was now evening.

३तेव्हा त्यांनी त्यांना अटक केली व आता संध्याकाळ झाली होती म्हणून सकाळपर्यंत त्यांना बंदिशाळेत ठेवले.

4 But many of those who heard the word believed, and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.

४तरी वचन ऐकणाऱ्यातील पुष्कळांनी विश्वास ठेवला; आणि विश्वास ठेवलेल्या पुरूषांची संख्या सुमारे पाच हजार होती.

5 It happened in the morning, that their rulers, elders, and scribes were gathered together in Urishlim.

५मग दुसऱ्या दिवशी असे झाले, की त्यांचे अधिकारी, वडील व नियमशास्त्र शिक्षक हे यरूशलेम शहरात एकत्र जमले.

6 Khanan the high priest was there, with Qayapha, Yukhanan, Alexandros, and as many as were relatives of the high priest.

६त्यामध्ये महायाजक हन्ना व कयफा, योहान, आलेक्सांद्र मुख्य याजकाचे जे सर्व नातेवाईक ते होते.

7 When they had stood them in the middle of them, they inquired, "By what power, or in what name, have you done this?"

७त्यांनी पेत्र व योहानाला मध्ये उभे करून विचारले, “हे तुम्ही कोणत्या सामर्थ्याने, किंवा कोणत्या नावाने केले?”

8 Then Kipha, filled with the Rukha d'Qudsha, said to them, "Rulers of the people, and elders,

८तेव्हा पेत्र पवित्र आत्म्याने पूर्ण झालेला असता, त्यांना म्हणाला, “अहो लोकांच्या अधिकाऱ्यांनो, आणि वडिलांनो,

9 if we are examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed,

९एका आजारी मनुष्यावर उपकार झाला म्हणजे तो कशाने बरा करण्यात आला याविषयी जर आमची चौकशी आज होत आहे?

10 be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israyel, that in the name of Yeshua Meshikha the Natsraya, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole.

१०तर तुम्हा सर्वास व सर्व इस्राएल लोकांस हे माहित असावे, की ज्याला तुम्ही वधस्तंभी दिले, ज्याला देवाने मरण पावलेल्यामधून उठवले, त्या नासोरी येशू ख्रिस्ताच्या नावाने, हा मनुष्य बरा होऊन येथे तुमच्यापुढे उभा राहिला आहे.

11 This one is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.

११जो धोंडा तुम्ही बांधणाऱ्यांनी नाकारला तो कोनशिला झाला तो हाच आहे.

12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among people by which we must be saved."

१२आणि तारण दुसऱ्या कोणामध्ये नाही कारण जेणेकरून आपले तारण होईल; असे दुसरे कोणतेही नाव आकाशाखाली मनुष्यामध्ये दिलेले नाही.”

13 Now when they saw the boldness of Kipha and Yukhanan, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they were amazed. They recognized that they had been with Yeshua.

१३तेव्हा पेत्राचे व योहानाचे धैर्य पाहून, आणि ही निरक्षर व अशिक्षित माणसे आहेत, हे जाणून त्यांनी आश्चर्य केले, आणि हे येशूच्या संगतीत होते असे त्यांनी ओळखले.

14 Seeing the man who was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

१४तेव्हा तो बरा झालेला मनुष्य त्यांच्याजवळ उभा असलेला पाहून, यहूदी पुढाऱ्यांना त्यांच्याविरुद्ध काही बोलता येईना.

15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,

१५मग त्यांना सभेच्या बाहेर जाण्याची आज्ञा करून ते आपसात विचार करू लागले.

16 saying, "What shall we do to these men? Because indeed a notable miracle has been done through them, as can be plainly seen by all who dwell in Urishlim, and we cannot deny it.

१६ते म्हणाले, “या मनुष्यांस आपण काय करावे? कारण खरोखर यांच्याकडून प्रसिद्ध चमत्कार घडला आहे यरूशलेम शहरात राहणाऱ्या सर्वास माहित आहे; व ते आपण नाकारू शकत नाही.

17 But so this does not spread any further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they do not speak to anyone in this name."

१७परंतु हे लोकांमध्ये अधिक पसरू नये, म्हणून आपण त्यांना अशी धमकी द्यावी की, यापुढे तुम्ही या नावाने कोणाशीही बोलू नये.”

18 They called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Yeshua.

१८मग त्यांनी पेत्र व योहानला बोलावून आज्ञा केली की तुम्ही येशूच्या नावाने मुळीच बोलू नका व शिकवूही नका.

19 But Kipha and Yukhanan answered them, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves,

१९परंतु पेत्र व योहान यांनी त्यांना उत्तर देऊन म्हटले, “देवापेक्षा तुमचे ऐकावे हे देवाच्या दृष्टीने योग्य की अयोग्य आहे, हे तुम्हीच ठरवा.

20 for we cannot help telling the things which we saw and heard."

२०कारण ज्या गोष्टी आम्ही पाहिल्या व ऐकल्या त्या आम्ही बोलू नयेत हे आम्हास शक्य नाही.”

21 When they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, because of the people; for everyone glorified God for that which was done.

२१तेव्हा त्यांनी त्यांना आणखी धमकावून सोडून दिले, कारण लोकांमुळे त्यांना शिक्षा कशी करावी. हे त्यांना काहीच सुचेना, कारण घडलेल्या गोष्टीवरून सर्व लोक देवाचे गौरव करीत होते.

22 For the man on whom this miracle of healing was performed was more than forty years old.

२२कारण ज्या मनुष्यावर हा बरा करण्याचा चमत्कार घडला होता तो चाळीस वर्षाहून अधिक वयाचा होता.

23 Being let go, they came to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said to them.

२३तेव्हा त्यांची सुटका झाल्यानंतर, ते आपल्या लोकांकडे आले आणि मुख्य याजकांनी व वडिलांनी जे काही म्हणले होते ते सर्व त्यांनी सांगितले.

24 When they heard it, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, "Lord, you made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all that is in them.

२४ते ऐकून ते एकचित्त होऊन देवाला उच्च वाणीने म्हणाले, “हे प्रभू, आकाश, पृथ्वी, समुद्र व त्यातील सर्वकाही ज्याने निर्माण केले तो तूच आहे.

25 You said through the Rukha d'Qudsha, through the mouth of our father Dawid your servant: 'Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot in vain?

२५तुझा सेवक, आमचा पूर्वज दावीद, याच्या मुखाने पवित्र आत्म्याच्याद्वारे तू म्हटले, ‘राष्ट्रे का खवळली व लोकांनी व्यर्थ कल्पना का केल्या?

26 The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take council together, against the Lord, and against his Meshikha.'

२६प्रभूविरूद्ध व त्याच्या ख्रिस्ताविरुद्ध पृथ्वीचे राजे उभे राहिले, व अधिकारी एकत्र जमले.’

27 "For truly, in this city against your holy servant, Yeshua, whom you anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the non-Jews and the people of Israyel, were gathered together

२७कारण खरोखरच ज्याला तू अभिषेक केलास तो तुझा पवित्र सेवक, येशू, ह्याच्याविरुद्ध या नगरात परराष्ट्रीय व इस्राएली लोक यांच्याबरोबर हेरोद व पंतय पिलात एकत्र झाले.

28 to do whatever your hand and your council foreordained to happen.

२८यासाठी की जे काही घडावे म्हणून तुझ्या हाताने व तुझ्या इच्छेने पूर्वी नेमले होते ते त्यांनी करावे.

29 Now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness,

२९तर हे प्रभू, आता तू त्यांच्या धमकावण्याकडे पाहा आणि तुझ्या दासांनी पूर्ण धैर्याने तुझे वचन बोलावे असे दान दे.

30 while you stretch out your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy Servant Yeshua."

३०तू आपला हात लोकांस निरोगी करण्यास पुढे करीत असता असे कर तुझा पवित्र सेवक येशू याच्या नावाने चमत्कार व अद्भूते घडावी असे ही कर.”

31 When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Rukha d'Qudsha, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

३१आणि त्यांनी प्रार्थना केल्यावर ज्या जागेमध्ये ते एकत्र जमले होते ती हालली, आणि ते सर्व पवित्र आत्म्याने पूर्ण होऊन, देवाचे वचन धैर्याने बोलू लागले.

32 And the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul. Not one of them claimed that anything of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.

३२तेव्हा विश्वास ठेवणाऱ्यांचा समुदाय एक मनाचा व एकजिवाचा होता: आणि कोणीही आपल्या मालमत्तेतील काही आपले स्वतःचे आहे असे म्हणत नसे, तर त्यांचे सर्व पदार्थ सामाईक होते.

33 With great power, the apostles gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Yeshua. Great grace was on them all.

३३आणि प्रेषित मोठ्या सामर्थ्याने, प्रभू येशूच्या पुनरुत्थानाविषयी साक्ष देत होते, आणि त्या सर्वावर मोठी कृपा होती.

34 For neither was there among them any who lacked, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold,

३४त्यांतील कोणालाही काही उणे नव्हते, कारण जितके जमिनीचे किंवा घरांचे मालक होते तितक्यांनी ती विकली आणि विकलेल्या वस्तूंचे मोल आणले.

35 and put them at the apostles' feet, and distribution was made to each, according as anyone had need.

३५आणि ते प्रेषितांच्या पायाशी ठेवले, मग जसजशी कोणाला गरज लागत असे, तसतसे ते प्रत्येकाला वाटून देत असत.

36 Yauseph, who by the apostles was surnamed Bar-Naba (which is translated, Son of Encouragement), a Levite, a native of Cyprus by birth,

३६आणि कुप्र बेटाचा रहिवासी लेवी योसेफ, ज्याला प्रेषितांनी बर्णबा, म्हणजे उत्तेजन पुत्र असे नाव दिले होती.

37 having a field, sold it, and brought the money and put it at the apostles' feet.

३७त्याची जमीन होती, ती त्याने विकून तिचा पैसा आणून प्रेषितांच्या पायाशी ठेवला.
