Acts 22
1 "Brothers and fathers, listen to the defense which I now make to you."
“ଏ ବୋଞାଙ୍ଜି ଆରି ଆପେୟ୍ଜି, ମୁକ୍କାବାବେନ୍ ଞେନ୍ ଇନିଜି ବର୍ତନାୟ୍ ତିଆତେ ଅମ୍ଡଙ୍ବା ।”
2 When they heard that he spoke to them in the Hebrew language, they were even more quiet. He said,
ପାଓଲନ୍ ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ସରିନ୍ ଏବ୍ରିଲଙନ୍ ବାତ୍ତେ ଆକ୍ରଡାଡ଼ିଲନ୍ଆତେ ଅମ୍ଡଙ୍ଡାଲେ ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ଆରି ରିଙ୍ରିଙେଞ୍ଜି; ଆରି ପାଓଲନ୍ ବର୍ନେନ୍ ଉଲନେ;
3 "I am indeed a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, instructed according to the strict manner of the Law of our fathers, being zealous for God, even as you all are this day.
“ଞେନ୍ ଅବୟ୍ ଜିଉଦିମର୍, କିଲିକିଆ ଡେସାନ୍ ତାର୍ସ ଗଡ଼ାଲୋଙନ୍ ଜନମ୍ମୁ ଡେଲିଁୟ୍, ବନ୍ଡ କେନ୍ ଜିରୁସାଲମ୍ ଗଡ଼ାଲୋଙନ୍ ଞେନ୍ ସୋଡ଼ାଲିଁୟ୍, ଆରି ଗମଲିଏଲନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଞେନ୍ ଞଙ୍ଲନାୟ୍; ପୁର୍ବା ଜୋଜୋଲେଞ୍ଜି ଆ ବନାଁୟ୍ବର୍ ଞେନ୍ ମନଙ୍ ଞଙ୍ଲନାୟ୍ ଆରି ଆମ୍ୱେଞ୍ଜି ଅନ୍ତମ୍ ଞେନ୍ ନିୟ୍ ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଅନୁୟୁବନ୍ ଡକୋଏନ୍;
4 I persecuted this Way to the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.
ଆନାଜି କେନ୍ ଆ ତଙର୍ଗଡ୍ ତଙିୟ୍ଲଞ୍ଜି ଆନିଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ଞେନ୍ ରନବୁନ୍ ଜାୟ୍ ଡଣ୍ଡାୟ୍ଲାଜି, ଆରି ଆଇମରଞ୍ଜି ଡ ଓବ୍ବାମରଞ୍ଜି ଅଡ଼୍କୋଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ବଣ୍ଡିଲାଜି ।
5 As also the high priest and all the council of the elders testify, from whom also I received letters to the brothers, and traveled to Damascus to bring them also who were there to Urishlim in bonds to be punished.
କେନ୍ ଅଡ଼୍କୋନ୍ ଆ ବର୍ନେଜି ଆସନ୍ ମୁଡ଼ ରାଓଡ଼ାନ୍ ଡ ପାପୁର୍ମରଞ୍ଜି ନିୟ୍ ସାକିନ୍ ଡକୋଜି, କେନ୍ ଆ ମନ୍ରାଜି ଞମ୍ଲେ ଡ ସିଙ୍କୁଡ଼ିନ୍ ବାତ୍ତେ ଜିଲେ ଅନବ୍ଡଣ୍ଡାୟନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଜିରୁସାଲମନ୍ ଆପନାଙ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଞେନ୍ ମୁଡ଼ ରାଓଡ଼ାନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଅନଡ଼େଅଲନ୍ ପାଙ୍ଲେ ଦମ୍ମେସକ ଗଡ଼ାଲୋଙନ୍ ଆଡ୍ରକୋଲଞ୍ଜି ଆ ଜିଉଦିମର୍ଜି ଆମଙ୍ ଇୟେନ୍ ।”
6 It happened that, as I made my journey, and came close to Damascus, about noon, suddenly there shone from the sky a great light around me.
“ଞେନ୍ ଜିରା ଜିରା ଦମ୍ମେସକନ୍ ଆ ତୁୟାୟ୍ ଆରଡ଼ୋଏନ୍ ଆଡିଡ୍, ଏରବ୍ବୋମଙ୍ଡାଗୋ ତଡ଼ିଙ୍ ତମ୍ବାନ୍ ରୁଆଙନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ସନାଆରନ୍ ଅମଙ୍ଞେନ୍ ଅଡ଼ୋଲାୟ୍ ।
7 I fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to me, 'Shaul, Shaul, why are you persecuting me?'
ସିଲତ୍ତେ ଞେନ୍ ତୁମ୍ମୁଡାଲେ ଜାୟ୍ତାନ୍ ଅକୁଡ୍ଲିଁୟ୍, ଆରି ଅବୟ୍ ସର୍ରଙନ୍ ଞେନ୍ ଅମ୍ଡଙ୍ଲାୟ୍, ‘ସାଓଲ, ସାଓଲ! ଇନିଆସନ୍ ଆମନ୍ ଞେନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଡଣ୍ଡାୟ୍ତିଁୟ୍?’
8 I answered, 'Who are you, Lord?' He said to me, 'I am Yeshua the Natsraya, whom you persecute.'
ଞେନ୍ ଜାଲଙ୍ଲାୟ୍, ‘ଆମନ୍ ଆନା ପ୍ରବୁ?’ ଆନିନ୍ ଗାମେନ୍, ‘ଆମନ୍ ଆନାଆଡଙ୍ ଡଣ୍ଡାୟ୍ତେ, ତିଆନିନ୍ ଞେନ୍ ନାଜରିତବାୟ୍ ଜିସୁନ୍ ।’
9 "Those who were with me indeed saw the light, and were afraid, but they did not understand the voice of him who spoke to me.
ଞେନ୍ ସରିନ୍ ଆଡ୍ରକୋଏଞ୍ଜି ଆ ମନ୍ରାଜି ସନାଆରନ୍ ଗିଜେଞ୍ଜି, ବନ୍ଡ ଞେନ୍ ସରିନ୍ ଆକ୍ରଡାଡ଼ିଲନ୍ ଆ ମନ୍ରା ଆ ସର୍ରଙ୍ ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ଅଃନ୍ନମ୍ଡଙ୍ଲଜି ।
10 I said, 'What shall I do, Lord?' The Lord said to me, 'Arise, and go into Damascus. There you will be told about all things which are appointed for you to do.'
ସିଲତ୍ତେ ଞେନ୍ ଗାମ୍ଲାୟ୍, ‘ଞେନ୍ ଇନି ଏଙ୍ଗାନାୟ୍, ପ୍ରବୁ?’ ପ୍ରବୁନ୍ ଞେନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଗାମ୍ଲିଁୟ୍, ‘ଡୋନା ଦମ୍ମେସକନ୍ ଜିରା, ଆରି ଆମନ୍ ଇନି ଆ କାବ୍ବାଡ଼ା ଲନୁମନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଇସ୍ୱରନ୍ ଗବ୍ରିଏନ୍ ତେତ୍ତେ ଆମନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ବନରନ୍ ଡେତେ ।’
11 When I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of those who were with me, I came into Damascus.
ଞେନ୍ ତି ସନାଆରନ୍ ବାତ୍ତେ ଇନ୍ନିଙ୍ ଗିୟ୍ଲେ ଅଃର୍ରପ୍ତିଲାୟ୍, ତିଆସନ୍ ଞେନ୍ ସରିନ୍ ଆଡ୍ରକୋଏଞ୍ଜି ଆ ମନ୍ରାଜି ତୁରିୟ୍ଡାଲେ ଦମ୍ମେସକନ୍ ଓରୋଙ୍ଲିଁୟ୍ଜି ।”
12 One Khananya, a devout man according to the Law, well reported of by all the Jews who lived in Damascus,
“ତି ଆ ଗଡ଼ାଲୋଙ୍ ଅନନିଅ ଗାମ୍ଲେ ଅବୟ୍ ମନ୍ରାନ୍ ଡକୋଏନ୍, ଆନିନ୍ ମୋସାନ୍ ଆ ବନାଁୟ୍ବର୍ ଞଣ୍ଡ୍ରମ୍ଲନ୍ ଆରି ଆନିନ୍ ଅବୟ୍ ଡରମ୍ମମର୍, ତେତ୍ତେ ଆଡ୍ରକୋଲଞ୍ଜି ଆ ମନ୍ରାଜି ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ମାନ୍ନେଏଞ୍ଜି ।
13 came to me, and standing by me said to me, 'Brother Shaul, receive your sight.' In that very hour I looked up at him.
ଆନିନ୍ ଅମଙ୍ଞେନ୍ ଜିର୍ରେ ଇୟ୍ଲାୟ୍ ତନଙେ କି ଇୟ୍ଲାୟ୍ ବରିଁୟ୍, ‘ବୋଞାଙ୍ ସାଓଲ, ଆମନ୍ ଗିୟ୍ଲେ ରପ୍ତିଆ ।’ ସିଲତ୍ତେ ଅବ୍ତାଡ଼ନ୍ ଞେନ୍ ଆରି ଗିୟ୍ଲେ ରପ୍ତିଲାୟ୍ କି ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଆଙାଙ୍ଲାୟ୍ ।
14 He said, 'The God of our fathers has appointed you to know his will, and to see the Righteous One, and to hear a voice from his mouth.
ଆରି, ଆନିନ୍ ଗାମେନ୍, ‘ପୁର୍ବା ଜୋଜୋଲେଞ୍ଜି ଆ ଇସ୍ୱର ଆ ଇସ୍ସୁମ୍ ଇନି ତିଆତେ ଜନନାନ୍ ଆସନ୍, ଆରି ତି ଡରମ୍ମମରନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଗନିଜନ୍ ଆସନ୍, ଆରି ଆ ତଅଡନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ବର୍ନେନ୍ ଅନମ୍ଡଙନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଆମନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ସେଡାଲମ୍ ।
15 For you will be a witness for him to all people of what you have seen and heard.
ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ ଆମନ୍ ଇନିଜି ଗିଜେନ୍ ଆରି ଅମ୍ଡଙେନ୍ ତିଆତେ ଅଡ଼୍କୋ ମନ୍ରାନ୍ ଆମଙ୍ ଅନବ୍ଜନାନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଆମନ୍ ସାକିମର୍ ଡେତମ୍ ।
16 Now why do you wait? Arise, be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on his name.'
ଆରି ନମିଞେନ୍ ଆମନ୍ ଇନିବା ଅବ୍ଡିଂତନ୍? ଡୋନା, ତବ୍ବୁବ୍ଡାନା ଆରି ଆଞୁମ୍ଲୋଙନ୍ ପାର୍ତନାନା, ଏତ୍ତେଲ୍ଡେନ୍ ଇର୍ସେନମ୍ଜି କେମାନ୍ ଞାଙ୍ତେ ।’”
17 "It happened that, when I had returned to Urishlim, and while I prayed in the temple, I fell into a trance,
“ସିଲଡ୍ଲ୍ଲନ୍ ଞେନ୍ ଜିରୁସାଲମନ୍ ୟର୍ରନ୍ ସରେବାସିଂଲୋଙନ୍ ପରାର୍ତନାଲନାଞନ୍ ଆଡିଡ୍ ଞେନ୍ ମୁର୍ସାଲିଁୟ୍ କି ଅବୟ୍ ତନାଲ୍ମଡନ୍ ଗିୟ୍ଲାୟ୍;
18 and saw him saying to me, 'Hurry and get out of Urishlim quickly, because they will not receive testimony concerning me from you.'
ଞେନ୍ ପ୍ରବୁନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଗିୟ୍ଲାୟ୍, ଆନିନ୍ ଞେନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ବର୍ରିଁୟ୍, ‘ଜିରୁସାଲମନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଡୁଙ୍ଲନ୍ ଜିରା, ଆମନ୍ ଆରି ଅବ୍ଡିଂଡଂନେ, ଇନିଆସନ୍ଗାମେଣ୍ଡେନ୍ କେନ୍ ତେନ୍ନେ ଆ ମନ୍ରାଜି ଞେନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ସାକିନମ୍ ଅଃନ୍ନମ୍ଡଙେଜି ।’
19 I said, 'Lord, they themselves know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue those who believed in you.
ସିଲତ୍ତେ ଞେନ୍ ଜାଲଙ୍ଲାୟ୍, ‘ପ୍ରବୁ, ଞେନ୍ ରନୁକ୍କୁସିଙନ୍ ଇୟ୍ଲେ ଅମଙ୍ନମ୍ ଆଡର୍ରଞ୍ଜି ଆ ମନ୍ରାଜି ଏଙ୍ଗାଲେ ବଣ୍ଡିଲାଜି ଆରି ତିଡ୍ଲାଜି କେନ୍ଆତେ ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ମନଙ୍ ଜନାଜି ।
20 When the blood of Astapanos, your witness, was shed, I also was standing by, and guarding the cloaks of those who killed him.'
ସାକିମର୍ନମ୍ ତିପାନନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଆସ୍ରମ୍ବବେଞ୍ଜି ଆଡିଡ୍, ଞେନ୍ ନିୟ୍ ତେତ୍ତେ ଡକୋଲନାୟ୍, ଆରି ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ରନବ୍ବୁନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଞେନ୍ ନିୟ୍ ଅଡ଼େଲାୟ୍, ଆରି ରନବ୍ବୁମରଞ୍ଜି ଆ ସିନ୍ରି ଞେନ୍ ଜଗେଲାୟ୍ ।’
21 "He said to me, 'Depart, for I will send you out far from here to non-Jewish people.'"
ଆରି ପ୍ରବୁନ୍ ଞେନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ବର୍ରିଁୟ୍, ‘ଜିରା, ଞେନ୍ ଆମନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଜବ୍ର ସଙାୟ୍ ଏର୍ଜିଉଦିମରଞ୍ଜି ଆମଙ୍ ଆପ୍ପାୟ୍ତମ୍ ।’”
22 They listened to him until he said that; then they lifted up their voice, and said, "Rid the earth of this fellow, for he is not fit to live."
ମନ୍ରାଞ୍ଜି କେନ୍ ଆ ବର୍ନେ ଆରମ୍ଡଙେଞ୍ଜି ସିଲଡ୍ଲ୍ଲନ୍ ବାବ୍ବାବ୍ଲେ ବର୍ରଞ୍ଜି, “ଆନିନ୍ ପୁର୍ତିନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ ଅମ୍ଡୁଙ୍ବା, ଆନିନ୍ ରବ୍ବୁବା, ଆନିନ୍ ଆମେଙ୍ ଡକୋଡଙ୍ନେ ତଡ୍ ।”
23 As they yelled, and threw off their cloaks, and threw dust into the air,
ମନ୍ରାଞ୍ଜି ବାବ୍ବାବ୍ଲେ ଡକୋଲଞ୍ଜି, ଆ ସିନ୍ରିଞ୍ଜି ତୋଣ୍ଡୋନ୍ ସେଡେଞ୍ଜି, ଆରି ଆଉମରିଲନ୍ ଡୁଙରେଞ୍ଜି ।
24 the commanding officer commanded him to be brought into the barracks, ordering him to be examined by scourging, that he might know for what crime they yelled at him like that.
ସିଲତ୍ତେ ମୁଡ଼ ସିପ୍ପାୟନ୍ ପାଓଲନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଅମ୍ମସିଙନ୍ ଅନୋରୋଙନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ସିପ୍ପାୟଞ୍ଜିଆଡଙ୍ ବରେଞ୍ଜି, ଆରି ମନ୍ରାଞ୍ଜି ଇନିଆସନ୍ ଏନ୍ନେଲେ ପାଓଲନ୍ ଆ ବିରୁଦଲୋଙ୍ ବର୍ତଞ୍ଜି, ତିଆତେ ଜନନାନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ସାମକାନ୍ ବାତ୍ତେ ତିଡ୍ବା ଗାମେଞ୍ଜି ।
25 When they had tied him up with thongs, Paul asked the centurion who stood by, "Is it lawful for you to scourge a man who is a Roman, and not found guilty?"
ସିପ୍ପାୟଞ୍ଜି ପାଓଲନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ତିଡ୍ତିଡନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଆଜ୍ରିଏଞ୍ଜି ସିଲଡ୍ଲ୍ଲନ୍, ଆନିନ୍ ତେତ୍ତେ ତନଙ୍ଲେ ଆଡ୍ରକୋଲନ୍ ସୋଡ଼ା ସିପ୍ପାୟନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ବରେନ୍, “ଅବୟ୍ ରୋମ୍ ଡେସାବାୟ୍ ଡୋସାନ୍ ଲୁମେନ୍ ଅଡ଼େ ଅଃଲ୍ଲୁମ୍ଲୋ ଏର୍ନବ୍ପନ୍ସୁଆତିନ୍ ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ସାମକାନ୍ ବାତ୍ତେ ତନିଡନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ବନାଁୟ୍ବର୍ଲୋଙନ୍ ଆଇଡିଡ୍ ପଙ୍?”
26 When the centurion heard it, he went to the commanding officer and told him, "What are you about to do? For this man is a Roman."
କେନ୍ଆତେ ସୋଡ଼ା ସିପ୍ପାୟନ୍ ଅମ୍ଡଙେନ୍ କି ଆନିନ୍ ମୁଡ଼ ସିପ୍ପାୟନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଇୟ୍ଲେ ବରେ, “ଆମନ୍ ଇନି ଏଙ୍ଗାତନ୍? କେନ୍ ଆ ମନ୍ରା ଅବୟ୍ ରୋମ୍ ଡେସାବାୟ୍ ।”
27 The commanding officer came and asked him, "Tell me, are you a Roman?" He said, "Yes."
ମୁଡ଼ ସିପ୍ପାୟନ୍ ଜିର୍ରାୟ୍ କି ପାଓଲନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଇୟ୍ଲାୟ୍ ବରେ, “ଞେନ୍ ଜାଲଙିଁୟ୍, ଆମନ୍ ଇନି ରୋମ୍ ଡେସାବାୟ୍ ପଙ୍?” ପାଓଲନ୍ ଜାଲଙେନ୍, “ଓଓ ।”
28 The commanding officer answered, "I bought my citizenship for a great price." Paul said, "But I was born a Roman."
ମୁଡ଼ ସିପ୍ପାୟନ୍ ଗାମେନ୍ “ଜବ୍ର ତଙ୍କାନ୍ କର୍ସଡାଲେ ଞେନ୍ ରୋମିଅବାୟ୍ ଡେଲିଁୟ୍ ।” ସିଲତ୍ତେ ପାଓଲନ୍ ଗାମେନ୍, “ଞେନ୍ ଜନମ୍ମୁଞେନ୍ ମା ସିଲଡ୍ ରୋମିଅବାୟ୍ ।”
29 Immediately those who were about to examine him departed from him, and the commanding officer also was afraid when he realized that he was a Roman, because he had bound him.
ସିଲତ୍ତେ ଆନାଜି ପାଓଲନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ବନରନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ଇୟେଞ୍ଜି ଆନିଞ୍ଜି ଡାରିଡେଞ୍ଜି; ଆରି ଆନିନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ସିଙ୍କୁଡ଼ିନ୍ ବାତ୍ତେ ଜିଏଞ୍ଜି, ବନ୍ଡ ଆନିନ୍ ଅବୟ୍ ରୋମିଅବାୟ୍ ଗାମ୍ଲେ ଆଜ୍ରନାଏନ୍ ସିଲଡ୍ଲ୍ଲନ୍ ମୁଡ଼ ସିପ୍ପାୟନ୍ ମାଡ୍ଡ ବତଙେନ୍ ।
30 But on the next day, desiring to know the truth about why he was accused by the Jews, he freed him, and commanded the chief priests and all the council to come together, and brought Paul down and set him before them.
ଜିଉଦିମରଞ୍ଜି ପାଓଲନ୍ ଆ ବିରୁଦଲୋଙ୍ ଇନିଆସନ୍ କାୟ୍କାୟେଞ୍ଜି; କେନ୍ଆତେ ଜନନାନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ମୁଡ଼ ସିପ୍ପାୟନ୍ ତି ଆବାର୍ତାନ୍ ପାଓଲନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଉୟ୍ଲେ ସୋଡ଼ା ରାଓଡ଼ାଞ୍ଜି ଡ ଅଡ଼୍କୋ ପାପୁର୍ମରଞ୍ଜି ପନ୍ସୁଆତିନ୍ ଅନିୟନ୍ ଆସନ୍ ବରେଞ୍ଜି, ଆରି ଆନିନ୍ ପାଓଲନ୍ଆଡଙ୍ ଓରୋଙ୍ଲେ ଆ ମୁକ୍କାବାଞ୍ଜି ଇୟ୍ଲେ ତବ୍ନଙେ ।
