Acts 11
1 Now the apostles and the brothers who were in Yehuda heard that the non-Jewish people had also received the word of God.
१यहूदी नसलेल्या लोकांनीसुद्धा देवाच्या वचनाचा स्वीकार केला आहे हे यहूदीया प्रांतातील प्रेषितांनी व बंधूनी ऐकले.
2 When Kipha had come up to Urishlim, those who were of the circumcision contended with him,
२पण जेव्हा पेत्र यरूशलेम शहरास आला, तेव्हा सुंता झालेला यहूदी विश्वासी गट त्याच्यावर टिका करू लागले.
3 saying, "You went in to uncircumcised men, and ate with them."
३ते म्हणाले, “जे सुंता न झालेले व परराष्ट्रीय आहेत अशा विश्वास ठेवणाऱ्या लोकांच्या घरी तुम्ही गेला, एवढेच नव्हे तर तुम्ही त्यांच्यासह जेवणही केले.”
4 But Kipha began, and explained to them in order, saying,
४म्हणून पेत्राने त्यांना सर्व घटना सविस्तर स्पष्ट करून सांगितल्या.
5 "I was in the city of Yupi praying, and in a trance I saw a vision: a certain container descending, like it was a great sheet let down from heaven by four corners. It came as far as me.
५पेत्र म्हणाला, मी यापो शहरात प्रार्थना करीत असताना मला तंद्री लागल्यासारखे झाले व मी एक दृष्टांत पाहिला की, मोठ्या चांदव्यासारखे चार कोपरे धरून सोडलेली एक चादर माझ्यापर्यंत आली.
6 When I had looked intently at it, I considered, and saw the four-footed animals of the earth, wild animals, crawling creatures, and birds of the sky.
६मी त्याच्याकडे न्याहाळून पाहून विचार करीत होतो, मी त्यामध्ये पृथ्वीवरील चार पायाचे प्राणी, जंगली पशू, सरपटणारे प्राणी आणि आकाशात उडणारे पक्षी मी त्यामध्ये पाहिले.
7 I also heard a voice saying to me, 'Rise, Kipha, kill and eat.'
७एक वाणी माझ्याशी बोलताना मी ऐकली, “पेत्रा, ऊठ, मारून खा!”
8 But I said, 'Not so, Lord, for nothing unholy or unclean has ever entered into my mouth.'
८पण मी म्हणालो, “प्रभू, मी असे कधीही करणार नाही, मी अपवित्र किंवा अशुद्ध असे कधीच खाल्ले नाही.”
9 But a voice answered the second time out of heaven, 'What God has cleansed, do not call unclean.'
९आकाशातून त्या वाणीने पुन्हा उत्तर दिले, “देवाने या गोष्टी शुद्ध केल्या आहेत, त्यांना अशुद्ध म्हणू नकोस.”
10 This was done three times, and all were drawn up again into heaven.
१०असे तीन वेळा घडले, मग ते सर्व पुन्हा वर आकाशात घेतले गेले.
11 And look, immediately three men stood before the house where we were, having been sent from Qesarya to me.
११इतक्यात पाहा, तीन माणसे ज्या घरामध्ये आम्ही होतो त्यापुढे कैसरीयाहून माझ्याकडे पाठवलेली तीन माणसे येऊन उभी राहिली.
12 The Rukha told me to go with them, without discriminating. These six brothers also accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house.
१२आत्म्याने मला कोणत्याही प्रकारचा संशय न धरिता त्यांच्याबरोबर जाण्यास सांगितले, हे सहा बंधू जे येथे आहेत, तेही माझ्याबरोबर होते, आम्ही कर्नेल्याच्या घरी गेलो.
13 He told us how he had seen the angel standing in his house, and saying to him, 'Send to Yupi, and get Shimon, whose surname is Kipha,
१३कर्नेल्याने आपल्या घरात देवदूत उभा असलेला कसा दिसला हे आम्हास सांगितले, देवदूत कर्नेल्याला म्हणाला, “काही माणसे यापोस पाठव, शिमोन पेत्राला बोलावून घे.
14 who will speak to you words by which you will be saved, you and all your house.'
१४तो तुझ्याशी बोलेल, तो ज्या गोष्टी तुला सांगेल, त्यामुळे तुझे व तुझ्या कुटुंबाचे तारण होईल.”
15 As I began to speak, the Rukha d'Qudsha fell on them, even as on us at the beginning.
१५त्यानंतर मी माझ्या भाषणाला सुरुवात केली, सुरुवातीला ज्याप्रमाणे पवित्र आत्मा आपल्यावर आला तसाच तो त्यांच्यावरही आला.
16 I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, 'Yukhanan indeed baptized in water, but you will be baptized in the Rukha d'Qudsha.'
१६तेव्हा मला प्रभूचे शब्द आठवले, प्रभू म्हणाला होता, “योहान लोकांचा बाप्तिस्मा पाण्याने करीत असे हे खरे, पण तुमचा बाप्तिस्मा पवित्र आत्म्याने होईल.”
17 If then God gave to them the same gift as us, when we believed in the Lord Yeshua Meshikha, who was I, that I could withstand God?"
१७आपण प्रभू येशू ख्रिस्तावर विश्वास ठेवला तेव्हा जसे आपणांस तसे त्यांसही देवाने सारखेच दान दिले, मग देवाला अडविणारा असा मी कोण?
18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, "Then God has also granted to the non-Jews repentance to life."
१८जेव्हा त्यांनी या गोष्टी ऐकल्या, तेव्हा ते शांत राहिले, त्यांनी देवाची स्तुती केली आणि म्हणाले, “तर मग देवाने परराष्ट्रीयांसही जीवन मिळावे म्हणून पश्चात्तापबुद्धी दिली आहे.”
19 They therefore who were scattered abroad by the oppression that arose about Astapanos traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except to Jews only.
१९स्तेफन मारला गेल्यानंतरच्या काळात जो छळ झाला, त्यामुळे विश्वास ठेवणारे यरूशलेम शहरापासून दूर ठिकाणी फेनीके प्रांत, कुप्र बेट व अंत्युखिया शहरापर्यंत पांगले गेले, विश्वास ठेवणाऱ्यांनी या ठिकाणी फक्त यहूदी लोकांसच सुवार्ता सांगितली.
20 But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Qurini, who, when they had come to Antioch, spoke to the Greeks, proclaiming the good news of the Lord Yeshua.
२०यातील काही विश्वास ठेवणारे कुप्र व कुरेने येथे राहणारे होते, जेव्हा हे लोक अंत्युखियात आले, तेव्हा त्यांनी या ग्रीक लोकांस येशूविषयीची सुवार्ता सांगितली.
21 The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number believed and turned to the Lord.
२१प्रभू विश्वास ठेवणाऱ्यांना मदत करीत होता आणि बऱ्याच मोठ्या गटाने विश्वास ठेवला व ते प्रभूला अनुसरू लागले.
22 And the report concerning them was heard by the church in Urishlim, so they sent Bar-Naba to Antioch,
२२याविषयीची बातमी यरूशलेम शहरातील विश्वास ठेवणाऱ्या मंडळीच्या कानावर आली, म्हणून यरूशलेम शहरातील विश्वास ठेवणाऱ्यांनी बर्णबाला अंत्युखियाला पाठवले.
23 who, when he had come, and had seen the grace of God, was glad. He exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they should remain true to the Lord.
२३बर्णबा चांगला मनुष्य होता, तो पवित्र आत्म्याने आणि विश्वासाने पूर्णपणे भरलेला होता, जेव्हा बर्णबा अंत्युखियाला गेला, तेव्हा त्याने पाहिले की, देवाने या लोकांवर खूप कृपा केली आहे, त्यामुळे बर्णबाला खूप आनंद झाला, अंत्युखियातील सर्व विश्वास ठेवणाऱ्यांना त्याने उत्तेजन दिले, त्याने त्यांना सांगितले, कधीही तुमचा विश्वास गमावू नका, नेहमी प्रभूची आज्ञा अंतःकरणापासून पाळा.
24 For he was a good man, and full of the Rukha d'Qudsha and of faith, and many people were added to the Lord.
२४तो चागंला मनुष्य होता आणि पवित्र आत्म्याने व विश्वासाने पूर्ण होता; तेव्हा प्रभूला पुष्कळजण मिळाले.
25 Bar-Naba went out to Tarsus to look for Shaul.
२५जेव्हा बर्णबा तार्सास गेला तेव्हा तो शौलाचा शोध घेत होता.
26 When he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. It happened, that for a whole year they were gathered together with the church, and taught many people. The disciples were first called Meshihaye in Antioch.
२६जेव्हा बर्णबाने त्यास शोधले तेव्हा त्याने शौलाला आपल्यासह अंत्युखियाला आणले, शौलाने व बर्णबाने वर्षभर तेथे मंडळीत राहून पुष्कळ लोकांस शिकवले, अंत्युखियामध्ये येशूच्या अनुयायांना ‘ख्रिस्ती’ हे नाव पहिल्यांदा मिळाले.
27 Now in these days, prophets came down from Urishlim to Antioch.
२७याच काळात काही संदेष्टे यरूशलेम शहराहून अंत्युखियास आले.
28 One of them named Agavus stood up, and indicated by the Rukha that there should be a great famine all over the world, which also happened in the days of Claudius.
२८यांच्यापैकी एकाचे नाव अगब होते, अंत्युखियात तो उभा राहिला आणि बोलू लागला, पवित्र आत्म्याच्या साहाय्याने तो म्हणाला, फार वाईट काळ सर्व पृथ्वीवर येत आहे, लोकांस खायला अन्न मिळणार नाही, क्लौदिया राजा राज्य करीत होता तेव्हा त्याच्या काळात हे घडले.
29 As any of the disciples had plenty, each determined to send relief to the brothers who lived in Yehuda;
२९विश्वास ठेवणाऱ्यांनी ठरवले की, यहूदीया येथील आपल्या बंधू व भगिनींना जास्तीत जास्त मदत पाठविण्याचा प्रयत्न करावा प्रत्येक शिष्याने जास्तीत जास्त मदत पाठवण्याचे ठरवले.
30 which they also did, sending it to the elders by the hands of Bar-Naba and Shaul.
३०त्यांनी पैसे गोळा करून बर्णबा व शौल यांच्याकडे दिले, मग बर्णबा व शौल यांनी ते पैसे यहूदीयातील वडीलजनांकडे पाठवून दिले.
