Acts 10
1 Now there was a certain man in Qesarya, Cornelius by name, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment,
ⲁ̅ⲚⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲆⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲔⲈⲤⲀⲢⲒⲀ ⲈⲠⲈϤⲢⲀⲚ ⲔⲞⲢⲚⲎⲖⲒⲞⲤ ⲈⲞⲨⲈⲔⲀⲦⲞⲚⲦⲀⲢⲬⲞⲤ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚϮⲤⲠⲨⲢⲀ ⲈϢⲀⲨⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲢⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ϮϨⲨⲆⲀⲖⲒⲔⲎ.
2 a devout man, and one who feared God with all his house, who gave gifts for the needy generously to the people, and always prayed to God.
ⲃ̅ⲈⲞⲨⲈⲨⲤⲈⲂⲎⲤ ⲠⲈ ⲈϤⲈⲢϨⲞϮ ϦⲀⲦϨⲎ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲈϤⲎⲒ ⲦⲎⲢϤ ⲈϤⲒⲢⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲘⲘⲈⲐⲚⲀⲎⲦ ⲘⲠⲒⲖⲀⲞⲤ ⲦⲎⲢϤ ⲈϤⲦⲰⲂϨ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ.
3 At about three in the afternoon, he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him, and saying to him, "Cornelius."
ⲅ̅ⲀϤⲚⲀⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϨⲞⲢⲀⲘⲀ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚϨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲞⲨⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲀϤϢⲈ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ϢⲀⲢⲞϤ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲚⲀⲨ ⲚⲀϪⲠ ⲐⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲔⲞⲢⲚⲎⲖⲒⲈ.
4 He, fastening his eyes on him, and being frightened, said, "What is it, Lord?" He said to him, "Your prayers and your gifts to the needy have gone up for a memorial before God.
ⲇ̅ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲤⲞⲘⲤ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲈⲦⲀϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϨⲞϮ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈⲦϢⲞⲠ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲈⲔⲠⲢⲞⲤⲈⲨⲬⲎ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲈⲔⲘⲈⲐⲚⲀⲎⲦ ⲀⲨⲒ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈⲞⲨⲈⲢⲪⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲘⲐⲞ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
5 Now send men to Yupi, and bring one Shimon who is surnamed Kipha.
ⲉ̅ϮⲚⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲞⲨⲰⲢⲠ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈⲒⲞⲠⲠⲎ ⲘⲀⲢⲞⲨⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ϪⲈ ⲤⲒⲘⲰⲚ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ.
6 He lodges with one Shimon, a tanner, whose house is by the seaside."
ⲋ̅ⲪⲀⲒ ϤϪⲀⲖⲎⲞⲨⲦ ⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ϪⲈ ⲤⲒⲘⲰⲚ ⲠⲒⲂⲀⲔϢⲀⲢ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲠⲈϤⲎⲒ ϦⲀⲦⲈⲚ ⲪⲒⲞⲘ.
7 When the angel who spoke to him had departed, he called two of his household servants and a devout soldier of those who waited on him continually.
ⲍ̅ⲈⲦⲀϤϢⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲈⲦⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲀϤⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲂⲰⲔ ⲂⲚⲦⲀϤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲘⲀⲦⲞⲒ ⲚⲈⲨⲤⲈⲂⲎⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲘⲎⲚ ⲈⲢⲞϤ.
8 Having explained everything to them, he sent them to Yupi.
ⲏ̅ⲈⲦⲀϤϪⲈ ϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ϦⲀⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲀϤⲞⲨⲞⲢⲠⲞⲨ ⲈⲒⲞⲠⲠⲎ.
9 Now on the next day as they were on their journey, and got close to the city, Kipha went up on the housetop to pray at about noon.
ⲑ̅ⲠⲈϤⲢⲀⲤϮ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲨⲘⲞϢⲒ ϨⲒ ⲠⲒⲘⲰⲒⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀⲨϦⲰⲚⲦ ⲈϮⲠⲞⲖⲒⲤ ⲀϤϢⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲒϪⲈⲚⲈⲪⲰⲢ ⲈⲈⲢⲠⲢⲞⲤⲈⲨⲬ ⲈⲤⲐⲈ ⲘⲪⲚⲀⲨ ⲚⲀϪⲠ.
10 He became hungry and desired to eat, but while they were preparing, he fell into a trance.
ⲓ̅ⲚⲈ ⲀϤϨⲔⲞ ⲆⲈ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲀϤⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲈⲞⲨⲰⲘ ⲈⲨⲤⲞⲂϮ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲀϤⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲦⲰⲘⲦ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰϤ.
11 He saw heaven opened and a certain container descending to him, like a great sheet let down by four corners on the earth,
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲀϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲦⲪⲈ ⲈⲤⲞⲨⲎⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲞⲨⲤⲔⲈⲨⲞⲤ ⲈⲨⲬⲰ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚϨⲂⲰⲤ ⲚⲒⲀⲨ ⲚⲆ ⲚⲀⲢⲬⲎ.
12 in which were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, crawling creatures and birds of the sky.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲈⲨⲬⲎ ⲚϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒϤⲦⲈⲪⲀⲦ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒϬⲀⲦϤⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲔⲀϨⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒϨⲀⲖⲀϮ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲪⲈ.
13 A voice came to him, "Rise, Kipha, kill and eat."
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤϢⲰⲠⲒ ϨⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲤⲘⲎ ϪⲈ ⲦⲰⲚⲔ ⲠⲈⲦⲢⲈ ϢⲰⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲞⲨⲰⲘ.
14 But Kipha said, "Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean."
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲘⲪⲰⲢ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ϪⲈ ⲘⲠⲒⲞⲨⲈⲘ ϨⲖⲒ ⲚⲈⲚⲬⲀⲒ ⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲈϤϬⲀϦⲈⲘ ⲒⲈ ⲈϤⲤⲞϤ.
15 A voice came to him again the second time, "What God has cleansed, you must not call unclean."
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲠⲀⲖⲒⲚ ⲞⲚ ⲀⲤϢⲰⲠⲒ ϨⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲚϪⲈϮⲤⲘⲎ ⲘⲪⲘⲀϨⲤⲞⲠⲂ ϪⲈ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲦⲞⲨⲂⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲆⲈ ⲘⲠⲈⲢϬⲀϦⲘⲞⲨ.
16 This was done three times, and immediately the vessel was received up into heaven.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲪⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲀϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ϢⲀ ⲄⲚⲤⲞⲠ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲰⲖⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲤⲔⲈⲨⲞⲤ ⲈⲠϢⲰⲒ ⲈⲦⲪⲈ.
17 Now while Kipha was very perplexed within himself what the vision which he had seen might mean, look, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made inquiry for Shimon's house, stood before the gate,
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ϨⲰⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲈϤⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ⲚϦⲢⲎ ⲒⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒϨⲞⲢⲀⲘⲀ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ϨⲎⲠⲠⲈ ⲒⲤ ⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲞⲨⲞⲢⲠⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲔⲞⲢⲚⲎⲖⲒⲞⲤ ⲈⲀⲨϢⲒⲚⲒ ⲚⲤⲀⲠⲎⲒ ⲚⲤⲒⲘⲰⲚ ⲀⲨⲞϨⲒ ⲈⲢⲀⲦⲞⲨ ϨⲒⲢⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲠⲨⲖⲰⲚ
18 and called and asked whether Shimon, who was surnamed Kipha, was lodging there.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲀⲨϢⲒⲚⲒ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚ ⲤⲒⲘⲰⲚ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ϤϪⲀⲖⲎⲞⲨⲦ ⲈⲠⲀⲒⲘⲀ.
19 While Kipha was pondering the vision, the Rukha said to him, "Look, three men seek you.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲈϤⲤⲞϬⲚⲒ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲠⲒϨⲞⲢⲀⲘⲀ ⲠⲈϪⲈ ⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲆⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲒⲤ ⲄⲚⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲤⲈⲔⲰϮ ⲚⲤⲰⲔ.
20 But arise, get down, and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them."
ⲕ̅ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲦⲰⲚⲔ ⲘⲀϢⲈ ⲚⲀⲔ ⲈⲠⲈⲤⲎⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲔⲞⲒ ⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲂⲀⲚ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲦⲀⲒⲞⲨⲞⲢⲠⲞⲨ.
21 Kipha went down to the men, and said, "Look, I am the one whom you seek. Why have you come?"
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲠⲈⲤⲎⲦ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ϢⲀ ⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ϪⲈ ϨⲎⲠⲠⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲔⲰϮ ⲚⲤⲰⲒ ⲠⲒϨⲰⲂ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲦⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲒ ⲈⲐⲂⲎⲦϤ.
22 They said, "Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous man and one who fears God, and well spoken of by all the Jewish nation, was directed by a holy angel to invite you to his house, and to listen to what you say."
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ⲚⲐⲰⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲠⲈϪⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲔⲞⲢⲚⲎⲖⲒⲞⲤ ⲠⲒⲈⲔⲀⲦⲞⲚⲦⲀⲢⲬⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲚⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϤⲈⲢϨⲞϮ ϦⲀⲦϨⲎ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲨⲈⲢⲘⲈⲐⲢⲈ ϦⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒϢⲖⲞⲖ ⲦⲎⲢϤ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲒ ⲀⲨⲦⲀⲘⲞϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲀⲄⲄⲈⲖⲞⲤ ⲈϤⲞⲨⲀⲂ ⲈⲞⲨⲰⲢⲠ ⲚⲤⲰⲔ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲈϤⲎⲒ ⲈⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈϨⲀⲚⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲦⲞⲦⲔ.
23 So he called them in and lodged them. On the next day he arose and went out with them, and some of the brothers from Yupi accompanied him.
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲀϤⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲀϤϢⲞⲠⲞⲨ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲠⲈϤⲢⲀⲤϮ ⲆⲈ ⲀϤⲦⲰⲚϤ ⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲚϪⲈϨⲀⲚⲔⲈⲤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲒⲞⲠⲠⲎ.
24 On the next day he entered into Qesarya. Cornelius was waiting for them, having called together his relatives and his near friends.
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲠⲈϤⲢⲀⲤϮ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲨⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲔⲈⲤⲀⲢⲒⲀ ⲔⲞⲢⲚⲎⲖⲒⲞⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲀϤⲤⲞⲘⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲀϪⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲚⲈϤⲤⲨⲄⲄⲈⲚⲎⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲈϤϢⲪⲎ ⲢⲚⲀⲚⲀⲄⲔⲈⲞⲚ.
25 When it happened that Kipha entered, Cornelius met him, fell down at his feet, and worshiped him.
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ⲀⲤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ⲀϤϮⲘⲀϮ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲚϪⲈⲔⲞⲢⲚⲎⲖⲒⲞⲤ ⲀϤϨⲒⲦϤ ⲈⲠⲈⲤⲎⲦ ϦⲀⲢⲀⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲈϤϬⲀⲖⲀⲨϪ ⲀϤⲞⲨⲰϢⲦ.
26 But Kipha raised him up, saying, "Stand up. I myself am also a man."
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲀϤⲦⲞⲨⲚⲞⲤϤ ⲈϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲦⲰⲚⲔ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ϨⲰ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲞⲨⲢⲰⲘⲒ.
27 And as he talked with him, he went in and found many gathered together.
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϢⲈ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲀϤⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϪⲒⲘⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲈⲀⲨⲐⲰⲞⲨϮ.
28 He said to them, "You yourselves know how it is an unlawful thing for a man who is a Jew to join himself or come to one of another nation, but God has shown me that I should not call any man unholy or unclean.
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈⲘⲒ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲂⲞϮ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲞⲨⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲚⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲞⲘϤ ⲒⲈ ⲈⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲀⲖⲖⲞⲪⲨⲖⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲀⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲦⲀⲘⲞⲒ ⲈϢⲦⲈⲘϪⲞⲤ ⲚϨⲖⲒ ⲚⲢⲰⲘⲒ ϪⲈ ϤϬⲀϦⲈⲘ ⲒⲈ ϤⲤⲞϤ.
29 Therefore also I came without complaint when I was sent for. I ask therefore, why did you send for me?"
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲪⲀⲒ ⲀⲒⲒ ⲈⲦⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲰⲢⲠ ⲚⲤⲰⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲈⲢⲀⲚⲦⲒⲖⲈⲄⲒⲚ ϮϢⲒⲚⲒ ⲞⲨⲚ ϪⲈ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲀϢ ⲚϨⲰⲂ ⲀⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲰⲢⲠ ⲚⲤⲰⲒ.
30 Cornelius said, "Four days ago until this hour, at three in the afternoon, I was praying in my house, and look, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
ⲗ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲈϪⲈ ⲔⲞⲢⲚⲎⲖⲒⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲒⲤ ϤⲦⲞⲨ ⲪⲞⲞⲨ ϢⲀ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲦⲀⲒⲞⲨⲚⲞⲨ ⲚⲀⲒⲦⲰⲂϨ ⲘⲪⲚⲀⲨ ⲚⲀϪⲠ ⲐϮ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲀⲎⲒ ϨⲎⲠⲠⲈ ⲒⲤ ⲞⲨⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲀϤⲞϨⲒ ⲈⲢⲀⲦϤ ⲘⲠⲀⲘⲐⲞ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϨⲈⲂⲤⲰ ⲈⲤⲞⲨⲞⲂϢ.
31 and said, 'Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your gifts to the needy are remembered in the sight of God.
ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲔⲞⲢⲚⲎⲖⲒⲈ ⲀⲨⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲦⲈⲔⲠⲢⲞⲤⲈⲨⲬⲎ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲈⲔⲘⲈⲐⲚⲀⲎⲦ ⲀⲨⲈⲢⲠⲞⲨⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲘⲐⲞ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
32 Send therefore to Yupi, and summon Shimon, who is surnamed Kipha. He lodges in the house of Shimon, a tanner, by the seaside.'
ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ⲞⲨⲰⲢⲠ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈⲒⲞⲠⲠⲎ ⲘⲀⲢⲞⲨⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲤⲒⲘⲰⲚ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ⲪⲀⲒ ϤϪⲀⲖⲎⲞⲨⲦ ⲈⲠⲎⲒ ⲚⲤⲒⲘⲰⲚ ⲠⲒⲂⲀⲔϢⲀⲢ ϦⲀⲦⲈⲚ ⲪⲒⲞⲘ.
33 Therefore I sent to you at once, and it was good of you to come. Now therefore we are all here present in the sight of God to hear all things that have been commanded you by the Lord."
ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ⲚϮⲚⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲀⲒⲞⲨⲰⲢⲠ ⲚⲤⲰⲔ ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲆⲈ ⲔⲀⲖⲰⲤ ⲀⲔⲀⲒⲤ ⲈⲦⲀⲔⲒ ϮⲚⲞⲨ ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ⲦⲎⲢⲈⲚ ⲦⲈⲚⲘⲠⲀⲒⲘⲀ ⲈⲚⲬⲎ ⲘⲠⲈⲘⲐⲞ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲚⲎ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲐⲀϢⲞⲨ ⲚⲀⲔ.
34 And Kipha opened his mouth and said, "Truly I perceive that God does not show favoritism;
ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ⲈⲦⲀϤⲞⲨⲰⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲢⲰϤ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ϪⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ϮⲚⲀⲨ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲢⲈϤϬⲒϨⲞ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
35 but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.
ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲚϨⲢⲎⲒ ϦⲈⲚϢⲖⲰⲖ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲈⲢϨⲞϮ ϦⲀⲦⲈϤϨⲎ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲈⲢϨⲰⲂ ⲈϮⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ϤϢⲎⲠ ⲚⲀϨⲢⲀϤ.
36 He sent the message to the people of Israyel, preaching good news of peace through Yeshua Meshikha—he is Lord of all—
ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ⲀϤⲞⲨⲰⲢⲠ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲚⲈⲚϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲤⲖ ⲈϤϨⲒϢⲈⲚⲚⲞⲨϤⲒ ⲚⲞⲨϨⲒⲢⲎⲚⲎ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ.
37 that spoken word you yourselves know, which was proclaimed throughout all Yehuda, beginning from Galila, after the baptism which Yukhanan preached;
ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲠⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲈⲦⲀϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ϦⲈⲚϮⲒⲞⲨⲆⲈⲀ ⲦⲎⲢⲤ ⲈⲀϤⲈⲢϨⲎ ⲦⲤ ⲒⲤϪⲈⲚ ϮⲄⲀⲖⲒⲖⲈⲀ ⲘⲈⲚⲈⲚⲤⲀ ⲠⲒⲰⲘⲤ ⲈⲦⲀϤϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲰⲀⲚⲚⲎⲤ.
38 even Yeshua of Natsrath, how God anointed him with the Rukha d'Qudsha and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
ⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲒⲢⲈⲘⲚⲀⲌⲀⲢⲈⲐ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲐⲀϨⲤϤ ⲚϪⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲈϤⲞⲨⲀⲂ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨϪⲞⲘ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲈⲢⲠⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϤⲦⲀⲖϬⲞ ⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲠⲒⲆⲒⲀⲂⲞⲖⲞⲤ ϪⲈⲘϪⲞⲘ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰϤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲀⲢⲈ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲬⲎ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲠⲈ.
39 We are witnesses of everything he did both in the land of the Jews and in Urishlim, whom they also killed by hanging on a tree.

40 God raised him up the third day, and gave him to be revealed,
ⲙ̅ⲪⲀⲒ ⲀⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲦⲞⲨⲚⲞⲤϤ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲀϨⲄ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲦⲎⲒϤ ⲈⲐⲢⲈϤⲞⲨⲞⲚϨϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ
41 not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen before by God, to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
ⲙ̅ⲁ̅ⲘⲠⲒⲖⲀⲞⲤ ⲦⲎⲢϤ ⲀⲚ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲚⲚⲒⲘⲈⲐⲢⲈⲨ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲈⲢϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲚⲤⲞⲦⲠⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ⲠⲈ ϦⲀ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲚⲞⲨⲰⲘ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲚⲤⲰ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲘⲈⲚⲈⲚⲤⲀ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲦⲰⲚϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲘⲰⲞⲨⲦ.
42 He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that this is the one who is appointed by God as the judge of the living and the dead.
ⲙ̅ⲃ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϨⲞⲚϨⲈⲚ ⲚⲀⲚ ⲈϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ⲘⲠⲒⲖⲀⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲈⲢⲘⲈⲐⲢⲈ ϪⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲐⲀϢϤ ⲚⲢⲈϤϮϨⲀⲠ ⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲞⲚϦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲘⲰⲞⲨⲦ.
43 All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins."
ⲙ̅ⲅ̅ⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲚⲒⲠⲢⲞⲪⲎⲦⲎⲤ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲈⲢⲘⲈⲐⲢⲈ ϦⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲈⲐⲢⲞⲨϬⲒ ⲘⲠⲬⲰ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲚⲞⲂⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲢⲀⲚ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲚⲀϨϮ ⲈⲢⲞϤ.
44 While Kipha was still speaking these words, the Rukha d'Qudsha fell on all those who heard the word.
ⲙ̅ⲇ̅ⲈⲦⲒ ⲈϤⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ⲚⲚⲀⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲀϤⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲈⲐⲞⲨⲀⲂ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲠⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ.
45 They of the circumcision who believed were amazed, as many as came with Kipha, because the gift of the Rukha d'Qudsha was also poured out on the non-Jewish people.
ⲙ̅ⲉ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲦⲰⲘⲦ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲤⲈⲂⲒ ⲚⲒⲠⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ϪⲈ Ⲁ- ϮⲆⲰⲢⲈⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲈⲐⲞⲨⲀⲂ ⲀⲤⲪⲰⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲒⲔⲈⲈⲐⲚⲞⲤ.
46 For they heard them speaking in other tongues and magnifying God. Then Kipha answered,
ⲙ̅ⲋ̅ⲚⲀⲨⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲨⲤⲀϪⲒ ϦⲈⲚϨⲀⲚⲖⲀⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨϬⲒⲤⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲦⲞⲦⲈ ⲀϤⲈⲢⲞⲨⲰ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ
47 "Can anyone withhold the water, that these who have received the Rukha d'Qudsha as well as we should not be baptized?"
ⲙ̅ⲍ̅ϪⲈ ⲘⲎⲦⲒ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲚⲦⲈϨⲖⲒ ⲦⲀϨⲚⲞ ⲘⲠⲒⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈϢⲦⲈⲘⲐⲢⲈ ⲚⲀⲒ ϬⲒⲰⲘⲤ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲀⲨϬⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲈⲐⲞⲨⲀⲂ ⲘⲠⲈⲚⲢⲎϮ ϨⲰⲚ.
48 He commanded them to be baptized in the name of Yeshua Meshikha. Then they asked him to stay some days.
ⲙ̅ⲏ̅ⲀϤⲞⲨⲀϨⲤⲀϨⲚⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲐⲢⲞⲨⲞⲘⲤⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲢⲀⲚ ⲚⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲦⲞⲦⲈ ⲀⲨϮϨⲞ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲈⲐⲢⲈϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ϦⲀⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ.
