2 Timothy 4
1 I command you therefore before God and Meshikha Yeshua, who will judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his Kingdom:
Jetzt beschwöre ich dich vor Gott und Christus Jesus, der einst die Lebenden und Toten richten wird, bei seiner Erscheinung und bei seinem Reiche.
2 preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching.
Verkünde das Wort, tritt auf, ob es gelegen oder ungelegen sei, weise zurecht und tadle, ermahne in jeglicher Geduld und in Belehrung.
3 For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts;
Es kommt ja eine Zeit, da man gesunde Lehre nicht ertragen mag, vielmehr nach eigenen Begierden Lehrer über Lehrer für sich sucht, weil man nur nach Ohrenkitzel verlangt.
4 and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to myths.
Von der Wahrheit wird man dann sein Ohr abwenden, hingegen Fabeleien gerne sich zuneigen.
5 But you be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
Du aber sei bei allem besonnen und ertrage Leiden, erfülle den Beruf als ein Verkündiger des Evangeliums, verwalte voll und ganz dein Amt.
6 For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure has come.
Schon werde ich ja hingeopfert; die Zeit für meine Auflösung ist nahe.
7 I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.
Ich habe den guten Kampf gekämpft, den Lauf vollendet, den Glauben bewahrt.
8 From now on, there is stored up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.
Im übrigen liegt mir der Kranz der Gerechtigkeit bereit, den mir der Herr als ein gerechter Richter an "jenem Tage" verleihen wird, und nicht bloß mir, auch allen anderen, die sich in Liebe nach seiner Erscheinung sehnen.
9 Be diligent to come to me soon,
Beeile dich, bald zu mir zu kommen.
10 for Demas left me, having loved this present world, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia. (aiōn g165)
Demas hat mich verlassen, weil er diese Welt lieb gewann. Er ging nach Thessalonich. Kreszenz nach Galatien, Titus nach Dalmatien; (aiōn g165)
11 Only Luqa is with me. Take Markos, and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for service.
Lukas allein ist noch bei mir. Bringe Markus mit; denn seine Dienste kann ich gut gebrauchen.
12 But I sent Tychicus to Ephesus.
Den Tychikus habe ich nach Ephesus geschickt.
13 Bring the cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus when you come, and the books, especially the parchments.
Den Mantel, den ich in Troas bei Karpus ließ, bringe mit, wenn du kommst. Ebenso die Bücher, vor allem auch die Pergamentrollen.
14 Alexandros, the coppersmith, did much evil to me. The Lord will repay him according to his works,
Viel Böses tat mir Alexander an, der Schmied; der Herr wird ihm nach seinen Werken vergelten.
15 of whom you also must beware; for he greatly opposed our words.
Auch du magst dich vor ihm hüten. Er widersprach heftig unseren Worten.
16 At my first defense, no one came to help me, but all left me. May it not be held against them.
Bei meiner erstmaligen Verteidigung war mir niemand zur Seite; alle ließen mich im Stich. Möge es ihnen nicht angerechnet werden.
17 But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me, that through me the message might be fully proclaimed, and that all the non-Jewish people might hear; and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
Doch stand der Herr mir bei und stärkte mich, damit durch mich die Predigt durchaus zur Vollendung käme und alle Heidenvölker sie vernähmen; also entrann ich aus dem Rachen des Löwen.
18 And the Lord will deliver me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Der Herr wird mich auch weiter allen bösen Anschlägen entreißen und in sein himmlisches Reich retten. Ihm sei Ehre von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeiten. Amen. (aiōn g165)

Grüße Priska und Aquila und die Familie des Onesiphorus.
20 Erastus remained at Corinth, and I left Trophimus at Miletus, ill.
Erastus blieb in Korinth, den Trophimus ließ ich krank in Milet zurück.
21 Be diligent to come before winter. Eubulus salutes you, as do Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brothers.
Beeile dich, daß du noch vor dem Winter kommst. Es grüßen dich Eubulus und Pudens, Linus und Claudia sowie die Brüder alle.
22 The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.
Der Herr Jesus Christus sei mit deinem Geiste. Die Gnade sei mit euch.
