2 Timothy 3

1 But know this, that in the last days terrible times will come.

௧மேலும், கடைசிநாட்களில் கொடியகாலங்கள் வருமென்று அறிவாயாக.

2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

௨எப்படியென்றால், மனிதர்கள் தற்பிரியர்களாகவும், பணப்பிரியர்களாகவும், வீம்புக்காரர்களாகவும், அகந்தை உள்ளவர்களாகவும், நிந்திக்கிறவர்களாகவும், தாய் தகப்பன்மாருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாதவர்களாகவும், நன்றி இல்லாதவர்களாகவும், பரிசுத்தமில்லாதவர்களாகவும்,

3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, hateful of good,

௩மெய்யான அன்பு இல்லாதவர்களாகவும், மன்னிக்காதவர்களாகவும், அவதூறு செய்கிறவர்களாகவும், இச்சையடக்கம் இல்லாதவர்களாகவும், கொடுமை செய்கிறவர்களாகவும், நல்லவைகளை வெறுக்கிறவர்களாகவும்,

4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;

௪துரோகிகளாகவும், துணிகரம் உள்ளவர்களாகவும், இறுமாப்பு உள்ளவர்களாகவும், தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமானவர்களாக இல்லாமல் சுகபோகப்பிரியர்களாகவும்,

5 holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof. Turn away from these, also.

௫தேவ பக்தியின் வேஷத்தைத்தரித்து அதின் பெலனை மறுதலிக்கிறவர்களாகவும் இருப்பார்கள்; இப்படிப்பட்டவர்களை நீ விட்டுவிலகு.

6 For among them are those who crawl into households and take captive weak-willed women weighed down with sins, led away by various passions and pleasures,

௬பாவங்களால் நிறைந்து, பற்பல இச்சைகளால் இழுக்கப்பட்டு,

7 always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

௭எப்போதும் கற்றாலும் ஒருபோதும் சத்தியத்தை அறிந்து உணராதவர்களாக இருக்கிற பெண்களுடைய வீடுகளில் இப்படிப்பட்டவர்கள் நுழைந்து, அவர்களை வசப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்.

8 Even as Jannes and Jambres opposed Mushe, so do these also oppose the truth; people corrupted in mind, disapproved concerning the faith.

௮யந்நேயும் யம்பிரேயும் மோசேக்கு எதிர்த்துநின்றதுபோல இவர்களும் சத்தியத்திற்கு எதிர்த்துநிற்கிறார்கள்; இவர்கள் தீய சிந்தையுள்ள மனிதர்கள், விசுவாச காரியத்தில் பரீட்சைக்கு நிற்காதவர்கள்.

9 But they will proceed no further. For their folly will be evident to all, as theirs also was.

௯ஆனாலும், இவர்கள் அதிகமாகப் பலப்படுவதில்லை; அந்த இருவருடைய அறிவீனம் எல்லோருக்கும் வெளிப்பட்டதுபோல, இவர்களுடைய அறிவீனமும் வெளிப்படும்.

10 But you did follow my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness,

௧0நீயோ என் போதகத்தையும் நடக்கையையும் நோக்கத்தையும் விசுவாசத்தையும் நீடிய சாந்தத்தையும் அன்பையும் பொறுமையையும்,

11 persecutions, and sufferings: those things that happened to me at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. I endured those persecutions. Out of them all the Lord delivered me.

௧௧அந்தியோகியா, இக்கோனியா, லீஸ்திரா என்னும் பட்டணங்களில் எனக்கு உண்டான துன்பங்களையும் பாடுகளையும் நன்றாக அறிந்திருக்கிறாய்; எவ்வளவோ துன்பங்களைச் சகித்தேன்; இவைகள் எல்லாவற்றிலிருந்தும் கர்த்தர் என்னைக் காப்பாற்றினார்.

12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Meshikha Yeshua will suffer persecution.

௧௨அன்றியும் கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவிற்குள் தேவபக்தியாக நடக்க விருப்பமாக இருக்கிற அனைவரும் துன்பப்படுவார்கள்.

13 But evil people and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

௧௩பொல்லாதவர்களும் ஏமாற்றுகிறவர்களாகவும் மோசம்போக்குகிறவர்களாகவும், மோசம்போகிறவர்களாகவும் இருந்து மேன்மேலும் கேடுள்ளவர்களாவார்கள்.

14 But you remain in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them.

௧௪நீ கற்று உறுதிசெய்துகொண்டவைகளில் நிலைத்திரு; அவைகளை யாரிடத்திலிருந்து கற்றுக்கொண்டாய் என்று நீ அறிந்திருக்கிறதுமல்லாமல்,

15 From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Meshikha Yeshua.

௧௫கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவைப்பற்றும் விசுவாசத்தினாலே உன்னை இரட்சிப்பிற்கு ஏற்ற ஞானம் உள்ளவனாக்கத்தக்க பரிசுத்த வேத எழுத்துக்களை, நீ சிறுவயதுமுதல் அறிந்தவனென்றும் உனக்குத் தெரியும்.

16 All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

௧௬வேத வாக்கியங்களெல்லாம் தேவனால் அருளப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; தேவனுடைய மனிதன் தேறினவனாகவும், எந்த நல்லசெயல்களையும் செய்யத் தகுதியுள்ளவனாகவும் இருக்கும்படியாக,

17 that the person of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

௧௭அவைகள் உபதேசத்திற்கும், கடிந்துகொள்ளுதலுக்கும், சீர்திருத்தலுக்கும், நீதியைப் படிப்பிக்குதலுக்கும் பிரயோஜனமுள்ளவைகளாக இருக்கிறது.
