14 He was the son of a widow of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in bronze; and he was filled with wisdom and understanding and skill, to work all works in bronze. He came to king Solomon, and performed all his work.
Hiram hi Israel mi Naphtali phunga kona meithai khatcha ahin, apa hi Tyre a kona sum-eng khenthem mi ahi, ama chu sum-eng khenna lama thepgilna le boltheina thilpeh chang’a ahin, ama chu ahung in Solomon lengpa dingin thihna tohna lam jouse tohpeh dingin apang tan ahi.
15 For he cast the two pillars of bronze, thirty-one feet was the height of one pillar; and a line of twenty feet and eight inches could encompass the one pillar, and its thickness hollowed out was almost three inches; and so was the second pillar.
Hiram in sum-eng a kisem khompi ni jen aaphut in, khompi khat cheh chu asan dan tong somle get alhing’e, akhom kolkimvel chu tong som le ni ahin, ahi.
16 He made two capitals of molten bronze, to set on the tops of the pillars: the height of the one capital was eight feet and seven inches, and the height of the other capital was eight feet and seven inches.
