1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
ⲁ̅ⲚⲀⲘⲈⲚⲢⲀϮ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲚⲀϨϮ ⲈⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲀⲢⲒⲆⲞⲔⲒⲘⲀⲌⲒⲚ ⲚⲚⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀϪⲈ ⲒⲈ ϨⲀⲚⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲈϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲘⲮⲈⲨⲆⲞⲠⲢⲞⲪⲎ ⲦⲎⲤ ⲀⲨⲒ ⲈⲠⲒⲔⲞⲤⲘⲞⲤ
2 By this you know the Rukha of God: every spirit who confesses that Yeshua Meshikha has come in the flesh is of God,
ⲃ̅ϦⲈⲚ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲤⲞⲨⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲈⲢⲞⲘⲞⲖⲞⲄⲒⲚ ϪⲈ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲀϤⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲤⲀⲢⲜ ⲞⲨⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲠⲈ
3 and every spirit who does not confess Yeshua is not of God; and this is that of the Anti-Meshikha, of whom you have heard that it comes. Now it is in the world already.
ⲅ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲈⲚϤⲞⲨⲞⲚϨ ⲚⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲀⲚ ⲞⲨⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒⲀⲚⲦⲒⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ϪⲈ ϤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϮⲚⲞⲨ ϤϦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲔⲞⲤⲘⲞⲤ ϨⲎⲆⲎ
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
ⲇ̅ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϨⲀⲚϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚϬⲢⲞ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲠⲈ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦϦⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲈϨⲞⲦⲈ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦϦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲔⲞⲤⲘⲞⲤ.
5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.
ⲉ̅ⲚⲐⲰⲞⲨ ϨⲀⲚⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲔⲞⲤⲘⲞⲤ ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲪⲀⲒ ⲤⲈⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲔⲞⲤⲘⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲒⲔⲞⲤⲘⲞⲤ ⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ
6 We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
ⲋ̅ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ϨⲀⲚⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ϢⲀϤⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲢⲞⲚ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲚⲞⲨⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲘⲠⲀϤⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲢⲞⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲀⲒ ⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲤⲞⲨⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲦⲈϮⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎ ⲒⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲦⲈϮⲠⲖⲀⲚⲎ
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God.
ⲍ̅ⲚⲀⲘⲈⲚⲢⲀϮ ⲘⲀⲢⲈⲚⲘⲈⲚⲢⲈ ⲚⲈⲚⲈⲢⲎⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ϮⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲞⲨⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲦⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲈⲢⲀⲄⲀⲠⲀⲚ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲘⲀⲤϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϤⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲪϮ
8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
ⲏ̅ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲚϤⲈⲢⲀⲄⲀⲠⲀⲚ ⲀⲚ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲤⲞⲨⲈⲚ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ϪⲈ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲞⲨⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲠⲈ
9 By this God's love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
ⲑ̅ϦⲈⲚ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲀϮⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲀⲤⲞⲨⲞⲚϨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲈⲚ ϪⲈ ⲀϤⲞⲨⲰⲢⲠ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲘⲞⲚⲞⲄⲈⲚⲎⲤ ⲚϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲈⲠⲒⲔⲞⲤⲘⲞⲤ ⲚϪⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲰⲚϦ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲞⲦϤ
10 In this is love, not that we have loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
ⲓ̅ⲀⲢⲈ ϮⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲀⲒ ⲞⲨⲬ ⲞⲦⲒ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ⲀⲚⲘⲈⲚⲢⲈ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ϪⲈ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲀϤⲘⲈⲚⲢⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲞⲨⲰⲢⲠ ⲘⲠⲈϤϢⲎ ⲢⲒ ⲈⲨⲤⲰϮ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲈⲚⲚⲞⲂⲒ
11 Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲚⲀⲘⲈⲚⲢⲀϮ ⲒⲤϪⲈ ⲀⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲘⲈⲚⲢⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ⲤⲈⲘⲠϢⲀ ϨⲰⲚ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲘⲈⲚⲢⲈ ⲚⲈⲚⲈⲢⲎ ⲞⲨ
12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲘⲠⲈ ϨⲖⲒ ⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲀⲚϢⲀⲚⲘⲈⲚⲢⲈ ⲚⲈⲚⲈⲢⲎⲞⲨ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ϢⲞⲠ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲦⲈϤⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ϪⲎⲔ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲈⲚ
13 By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Rukha.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ϦⲈⲚ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲈⲘⲒ ϪⲈ ⲦⲈⲚϢⲞⲠ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ϨⲰϤ ϤϢⲞⲠ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲈⲚ ϪⲈ ⲀϤϮ ⲚⲀⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈϤⲠⲚⲀ
14 We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as the Savior of the world.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ⲀⲚⲚⲀⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲘⲈⲐⲢⲈ ϪⲈ ⲀⲪⲒⲰⲦ ⲞⲨⲰⲢⲠ ⲘⲠⲈϤϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲈⲨⲞⲨϪⲀⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲔⲞⲤⲘⲞⲤ.
15 Whoever confesses that Yeshua is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲪⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲈⲢⲞⲘⲞⲖⲞⲄⲒⲚ ϪⲈ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲠⲈ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ϢⲞⲠ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ϨⲰϤ ϤϢⲞⲠ ϦⲈⲚⲪϮ
16 We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ⲀⲚⲈⲘⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲚⲚⲀϨϮ ⲈϮⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲦⲈⲚϦⲎⲦⲈⲚ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲞⲨⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲠⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦϢⲞⲠ ϦⲈⲚϮⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ϤϢⲞⲠ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ϢⲞⲠ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ.
17 In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ϦⲈⲚ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲀϮⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ϪⲰⲔ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲈⲘⲀⲚ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲚϪⲒⲘⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲠⲀⲢⲢⲎⲤⲒⲀ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈϮⲔⲢⲒⲤⲒⲤ ϪⲈ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲈϤϢⲞⲠ ⲚϪⲈⲪⲎ ⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ϨⲰⲚ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲔⲞⲤⲘⲞⲤ
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ϨⲞϮ ϢⲞⲠ ϦⲈⲚϮⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ϮⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲈⲦϪⲎⲔ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϢⲀⲤϨⲒ ϮϨⲞϮ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲈϮϨⲞϮ ⲚⲞⲨⲔⲞⲖⲀⲤⲒⲤ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲪⲎ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲈⲢϨⲞϮ ϤϪⲎⲔ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲀⲚ ϦⲈⲚϮⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ
19 We love, because he first loved us.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ⲦⲈⲚⲘⲈⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ϪⲈ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲀϤⲘⲈⲚⲢⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲚϢⲞⲢⲠ
20 If anyone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.
ⲕ̅ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲦⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ϪⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ϮⲘⲈⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϤⲘⲞⲤϮ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲤⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲤⲀⲘⲈⲐⲚⲞⲨϪ ⲠⲈ ⲪⲎ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲈⲚϤⲘⲈⲒ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲤⲞⲚ ⲀⲚ ⲈⲦⲈϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲘⲠⲈϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲠⲰⲤ ⲚⲀϢϪⲈⲘϪⲞⲘ ⲘⲘⲈⲚⲢⲒⲦϤ
21 This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲦⲀⲒⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ ⲚⲦⲞⲦⲈⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲞⲦϤ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲢⲀⲄⲀⲠⲀⲚ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲘⲈⲚⲢⲈ ⲠⲈϤⲔⲈⲤⲞⲚ
