1 Corinthians 1
1 Paul, called to be an apostle of Meshikha Yeshua by the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,
ⲁ̅ⲠⲀⲨⲖⲞⲤ ⲠⲀⲠⲞⲤⲦⲞⲖⲞⲤ ⲈⲦⲐⲀϨⲈⲘ ⲚⲦⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲪⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲤⲰⲤⲐⲈⲚⲎⲤ ⲠⲒⲤⲞⲚ
2 to the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Meshikha Yeshua, called to be saints, with all who call on the name of our Lord Yeshua Meshikha in every place, both theirs and ours:
ⲃ̅ⲚϮⲈⲔⲔⲖⲎⲤⲒⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲐⲎ ⲈⲦϢⲞⲠ ϦⲈⲚⲔⲞⲢⲒⲚⲐⲞⲤ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲦⲞⲨⲂⲰⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲐⲀϨⲈⲘ ⲈⲐⲞⲨⲀⲂ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲪⲢⲀⲚ ⲘⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ϦⲈⲚⲘⲀⲒ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲚⲦⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲦⲀⲚ.
3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Yeshua Meshikha.
ⲅ̅ⲠϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲦϨⲒⲢⲎⲚⲎ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲠⲈⲚⲒⲰⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ.
4 I always thank my God concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Meshikha Yeshua;
ⲇ̅ϮϢⲈⲠϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲀⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲒϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲦⲎⲒϤ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ.
5 that in everything you were enriched in him, in all speech and all knowledge;
ⲉ̅ϪⲈ ϦⲈⲚϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲀⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲢⲀⲘⲀⲞ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ϦⲈⲚⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲈⲘⲒ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ
6 even as the testimony of Meshikha was confirmed in you:
ⲋ̅ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲀ ϮⲘⲈⲦⲘⲈⲐⲢⲈ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲦⲀϪⲢⲞ ϦⲈⲚⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ.
7 so that you come behind in no gift; as you wait for our Lord Yeshua Meshikha to be revealed;
ⲍ̅ϨⲰⲤⲦⲈ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲀⲦ ⲀⲚ ϦⲈⲚϨⲖⲒ ⲚϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϪⲞⲨϢⲦ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲀⲦϨⲎ ⲘⲠⲒϬⲰⲢⲠ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲤ
8 who will also strengthen you to the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Yeshua Meshikha.
ⲏ̅ⲪⲀⲒ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲈϤⲈⲦⲀϪⲢⲈ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ϢⲀ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲀⲦⲀⲢⲒⲔⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲘⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ.
9 God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Yeshua Meshikha, our Lord.
ⲑ̅ϤⲈⲚϨⲞⲦ ⲚϪⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲐⲀϨⲈⲘ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈϮⲘⲈⲦϢⲪⲎⲢ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈϤϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ.
10 Now I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Yeshua Meshikha, that all of you be in agreement, so that there may be no divisions among you, and to be united by the same mind and conviction.
ⲓ̅ϮϮϨⲞ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲀⲤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲪⲢⲀⲚ ⲘⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲞⲨⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲰⲦ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲈϢⲦⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲪⲰⲢϪ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲈⲂⲦⲰⲦ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϨⲎⲦ ⲚⲞⲨⲰⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲄⲚⲰⲘⲎ ⲚⲞⲨⲰⲦ.
11 For it has been reported to me concerning you, my brothers, by those who are from Chloe's household, that there are contentions among you.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲀⲨⲦⲀⲘⲞⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲚⲀⲤⲚⲎ ⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲀⲬⲖⲞⲎⲤ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϨⲀⲚϢϬⲚⲎⲚ ϢⲞⲠ ϦⲈⲚⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ.
12 Now I mean this, that each one of you says, "I follow Paul," "I follow Apollos," "I follow Kipha," and, "I follow Meshikha."
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲪⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ϮϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲪⲀ ⲠⲀⲨⲖⲞⲤ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲪⲀ ⲀⲠⲞⲖⲖⲰ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲪⲀ ⲔⲎⲪⲀ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲪⲀ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ.
13 Is Meshikha divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized into the name of Paul?
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲀⲨⲪⲈϢ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲘⲎ ⲠⲀⲨⲖⲞⲤ ⲀⲨⲀϢϤ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲒⲈ ⲀⲚ ⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϬⲒⲰⲘⲤ ⲈⲪⲢⲀⲚ ⲘⲠⲀⲨⲖⲞⲤ.
14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, except Crispus and Gaius,
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ϮϢⲈⲠϨⲘⲞⲦ ϪⲈ ⲘⲠⲒϮⲰⲘⲤ ⲚϨⲖⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲈⲂⲎⲖ ⲈⲔⲢⲒⲤⲠⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲄⲀⲒⲞⲤ.
15 so that no one should say that you had been baptized into my own name.
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϢⲦⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲀⲒ ϪⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϬ ⲒⲰⲘⲤ ⲈⲠⲀⲢⲀⲚ.
16 (Now I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I do not know whether I baptized any other.)
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲀⲒϮⲰⲘⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲘⲠⲔⲈⲎⲒ ⲚⲤⲦⲈⲪⲀⲚⲀ ⲖⲞⲒⲠⲞⲚ ⲚϮⲈⲘⲒ ⲀⲚ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚ ⲀⲒϮⲰⲘⲤ ⲚⲔⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ.
17 For Meshikha sent me not to baptize, but to preach the Good News—not in wisdom of words, so that the cross of the Meshikha would not be made void.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲚⲈⲦⲀϤⲦⲀⲞⲨⲞⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲀⲚ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲈϮⲰⲘⲤ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲈϨⲒϢⲈⲚⲚⲞⲨϤⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲤⲂⲰ ⲚⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲀⲚ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤϢⲦⲈⲘϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈϤϢⲞⲨⲒⲦ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲤⲦⲀⲨⲢⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ.
18 For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲠⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲤⲦⲀⲨⲢⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲎ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲦⲀⲔⲞ ⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲤⲞϪ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲀⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ϦⲀ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲞϨⲈⲘ ⲞⲨϪⲞⲘ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲠⲈ.
19 For it is written, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the discernment of the discerning I will nullify."
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲤⲤϦⲎⲞⲨⲦ ⲄⲀⲢ ϪⲈ ϮⲚⲀⲦⲀⲔⲞ ⲚⲦⲤⲞⲪⲒⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲤⲀⲂⲈⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲈⲘⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲔⲀⲦϨⲎ ⲦϮⲚⲀϢⲞϢϤ.
20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Hasn't God made foolish the wisdom of the world? (aiōn g165)
ⲕ̅ⲀϤⲐⲰⲚ ⲞⲨⲤⲀⲂⲈ ⲀϤⲐⲰⲚ ⲞⲨⲤⲀϦ ⲀϤⲐⲰⲚ ⲞⲨⲢⲈϤϦⲞⲦϦⲈⲦ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲀⲒⲈⲚⲈϨ ⲘⲎ ⲘⲠⲈ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲢ ⲦⲤⲞⲪⲒⲀ ⲘⲠⲒⲔⲞⲤⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲤⲞϪ. (aiōn g165)
21 For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not know God, it was God's good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲈⲠⲒⲆⲎ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚϮⲤⲞⲪⲒⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲘⲠⲈ ⲠⲒⲔⲞⲤⲘⲞⲤ ⲤⲞⲨⲈⲚ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ϮⲤⲞⲪⲒⲀ ⲀϤϮⲘⲀϮ ⲚϪⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ϮⲘⲈⲦⲤⲞϪ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ⲈⲚⲞϨⲈⲘ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲀϨϮ.
22 For Jews ask for signs, and Greeks seek after wisdom,
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ⲈⲠⲒⲆⲎ ⲚⲒⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲒ ⲤⲈⲈⲢⲈⲦⲒⲚ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲘⲎⲒⲚⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲒⲞⲨⲈⲒⲚⲒⲚ ⲤⲈⲔⲰϮ ⲚⲤⲀϮⲤⲞⲪⲒⲀ.
23 but we preach Meshikha crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to the non-Jews,
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲦⲈⲚϨⲒⲰⲒϢ ⲘⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲈⲀⲨⲀϢϤ ⲚⲒⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲒ ⲘⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲤⲔⲀⲚⲆⲀⲖⲞⲚ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲒⲈⲐⲚⲞⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲤⲞϪ ⲠⲈ.
24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Meshikha is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲚⲀⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲚ ϦⲀ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲞϨⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲞⲨⲈⲒⲚⲒⲚ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲞⲨϪⲞⲘ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲤⲞⲪⲒⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than man's, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's.
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ϪⲈ ϮⲘⲈⲦⲤⲞϪ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲤⲞⲒ ⲚⲤⲀⲂⲈ ⲈϨⲞⲦⲈ ⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϮⲘⲈⲦⲀⲤⲐⲎⲚⲎⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲤⲞⲒ ⲚϪⲰⲢⲒ ⲈϨⲞⲦⲈ ⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ.
26 For consider your calling, brothers, that not many were wise from a human perspective, not many powerful, not many of noble birth.
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ⲀⲚⲀⲨ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲐⲰϨⲈⲘ ⲚⲀⲤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲚⲤⲀⲂⲈ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲤⲀⲢⲜ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲚϪⲰⲢⲒ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲚⲈⲨⲄⲈⲚⲎⲤ.
27 But God chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise. And God chose the weak of the world to shame the strong.
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲚⲒⲤⲞϪ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲔⲞⲤⲘⲞⲤ ⲀϤⲤⲞⲦⲠⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤϮϢⲒⲠⲒ ⲚⲚⲒⲤⲀⲂⲈⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲒⲘⲈⲦϪⲰⲂ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲔⲞⲤⲘⲞⲤ ⲀϤⲤⲞⲦⲠⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤϮϢⲒⲠⲒ ⲚⲚⲒϪⲰⲢⲒ.
28 And God chose the lowly of the world, and the despised, what is considered to be nothing, to bring to nothing what is considered to be something,
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲒⲘⲈⲦⲀⲄⲈⲚⲎⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲔⲞⲤⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϢⲞϢϤ ⲀϤⲤⲞⲦⲠⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲈϢⲞⲠ ⲀⲚ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲔⲞⲢϤ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϢⲞⲠ.
29 that no flesh might boast before God.
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ϨⲞⲠⲰⲤ ⲚⲦⲈϢⲦⲈⲘ ⲤⲀⲢⲜ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ϢⲞⲨϢⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲠⲈⲘⲐⲞ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
30 And because of him you are in Meshikha Yeshua, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,
ⲗ̅ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ϨⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚⲀⲚ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲞⲪⲒⲀ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲞⲨⲘⲈⲐⲘⲎⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲦⲞⲨⲂⲞ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲤⲰϮ.
31 so that, as it is written, "Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord."
ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲤϦⲎⲞⲨⲦ ϪⲈ ⲠⲈⲦϢⲞⲨϢⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲘⲀⲢⲈϤϢⲞⲨϢⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ϦⲈⲚⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ.
