< Philippians 3 >

1 Finally, my brothers, continue to rejoice in the Lord. To write the same thing is not indeed wearisome to me, and it is safe for you.
Ní àkótán ará, ẹ máa yọ̀ nínú Olúwa wa. Kì í ṣe ìnira fún mi láti kọ̀wé ohun kan náà sí yín, ṣùgbọ́n fún yín ó jẹ́ ohun ààbò.
2 Beware of "these dogs," these mischievous workers, beware of the concision!
Ẹ kíyèsára lọ́dọ̀ àwọn ajá, ẹ kíyèsára lọ́dọ̀ àwọn oníṣẹ́ búburú, ẹ sì kíyèsára lọ́dọ̀ àwọn onílà.
3 For we are the true circumcision, who worship God in the spirit, and make our boast in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in outward rites,
Nítorí àwa ni onílà, tí ń sin Ọlọ́run nípa ti Ẹ̀mí, àwa sì ń ṣògo nínú Kristi Jesu, àwa kò sí ní ìgbẹ́kẹ̀lé nínú ẹran-ara.
4 although I myself might have confidence in outward rites. If any one else claims a right to trust in them, far more may I;
Bí èmi tìkára mi pẹ̀lú ti ní ìgbẹ́kẹ̀lé nínú ara. Bí ẹnikẹ́ni bá rò pé òun ni ìgbẹ́kẹ̀lé nínú ara, tèmi tilẹ̀ pọ̀,
5 circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew sprung from the Hebrews; as to the Law, a Pharisee;
ẹni tí a kọ nílà ní ọjọ́ kẹjọ, láti inú kùkùté Israẹli wá, láti inú ẹ̀yà Benjamini, Heberu láti inú Heberu wá; nítorí, ní ti òfin Farisi ni èmi;
6 as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to the righteousness which comes through law, blameless.
ní ti ìtara, èmi ń ṣe inúnibíni sí ìjọ; ní ti òdodo tí ó wà nínú òfin, mo jẹ́ aláìlẹ́gàn.
7 But what was once gain to me, that I have counted loss for Christ.
Ṣùgbọ́n ohunkóhun tí ó ti jásí èrè fún mi, àwọn ni mo ti kà sí òfo nítorí Kristi.
8 In very truth I count all things but loss compared to the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things, and esteem them but refuse that I may gain Christ,
Nítòótọ́ láìṣe àní àní mo sì ka ohun gbogbo sí òfo nítorí ìtayọ ìmọ̀ Kristi Jesu Olúwa mi; nítorí ẹni ti mo ti ṣòfò ohun gbogbo, mo si kà wọn sí ohun tí kò ní èrè, kí èmi lè jèrè Kristi,
9 and be found in him; not having my own righteousness of the Law, but that alone which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which comes from God, founded upon faith.
kí a sì lè bá mi nínú rẹ̀, láìní òdodo tí èmi tìkára mi, tí ó ti inú òfin wá, ṣùgbọ́n èyí tí ó ti inú ìgbàgbọ́ wá nínú Kristi, òdodo láti ọ̀dọ̀ Ọlọ́run nípasẹ̀ ìgbàgbọ́.
10 I long to know him in the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, by sharing the likeness of his death;
Èmi mọ̀ ọ́n, àti agbára àjíǹde rẹ̀, àti láti jẹ́ alábápín nínú ìyà rẹ̀ nígbà tí mo bá fi ara mọ́ ọn nínú ikú rẹ̀;
11 if by any means I might attain to the resurrection from the dead!
nípasẹ̀ bẹ́ẹ̀ kí èmi lè ní àjíǹde kúrò nínú òkú.
12 I do not say that I have already won, or am already perfect, but I am passing on to lay hold on the prize for which also Christ has laid hold of me.
Kì í ṣe pé ọwọ́ mi ti tẹ̀ ẹ́ ná, tàbí mo ti di pípé, ṣùgbọ́n èmi ń lépa sí i, bí ọwọ́ mi yóò lè tẹ èrè náà nítorí èyí tí a ti dì mímú pẹ̀lú, láti ọ̀dọ̀ Kristi Jesu wá.
13 Brothers, I do not regard myself to have yet laid hold of it; but this one thing I do, forgetting what is behind me, but straining every nerve toward that which lies ahead,
Ará, èmi kò kara mi sí ẹni ti ọwọ́ rẹ̀ ti tẹ̀ ẹ́ ná, ṣùgbọ́n ohun kan yìí ni èmi ń ṣe, èmi ń gbàgbé àwọn nǹkan tí ó ti kọjá. Lẹ́yìn náà mo ń nàgà wo àwọn nǹkan tí ó wà níwájú.
14 I am ever pressing on toward the goal, for the prize of God’s heavenward call in Christ Jesus.
Èmi ń lépa láti dé òpin eré ìje náà fún èrè ìpè gíga Ọlọ́run nínú Kristi Jesu.
15 Let us all then, who are mature Christians, strive for this! God will make this clear to any of you who are striving for other goals;
Nítorí náà, ẹ jẹ́ kí àwa tí a dàgbà nípa ti ẹ̀mí ni èrò yìí; bí ẹ̀yin bá sì ní èrò mìíràn nínú ohunkóhun, èyí náà pẹ̀lú ni Ọlọ́run yóò fihàn yín.
16 if only we guide our steps by the standards we have already attained.
Kìkì pé, ki a ma gbe ìgbé ayé gẹ́gẹ́ bi èyí ti a ri gba.
17 Brothers, be comrades in imitating me, and study those whose life and walk is according to the pattern I have set you.
Ará, ẹ jùmọ̀ ṣe àfarawé mi, ẹ ṣe àkíyèsí àwọn tí ń rìn bẹ́ẹ̀, àní bí ẹ ti ní wa fún àpẹẹrẹ.
18 For there are many - as I used often to tell you, and am now telling you even with tears - who live and walk as the enemies of the cross of Christ.
Nítorí ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ní ń rìn, nípasẹ̀ àwọn ẹni tí mo ti ń wí fún yín nígbàkígbà, àní, tí mo sì ń sọkún bí mo ti ń wí fún yín nísinsin yìí, pé, ọ̀tá àgbélébùú Kristi ni wọ́n.
19 Their end is destruction, their belly is their god, their glory is in their shame, and their minds are set on earthly things.
Ìgbẹ̀yìn wọn ni ìparun, ikùn wọn sì ni Ọlọ́run wọn, wọ́n sì ń ṣògo nínú ìtìjú wọn, àwọn ẹni tí ń tọ́jú ohun ti ayé.
20 But commonwealth is in heaven; and it is from heaven also that we are anxiously awaiting a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ,
Nítorí ìlú ìbílẹ̀ wá ń bẹ̀ ní ọ̀run, láti ibi ti àwa pẹ̀lú gbé ń fojúsọ́nà fún Olùgbàlà, Jesu Kristi Olúwa.
21 who will change the fashion of the body of our abasement into the likeness of his glorious body by the energy with which he is able even to subject all things to himself.
Ẹni tí yóò sọ ara ìrẹ̀lẹ̀ wa di ọ̀tún kí ó lè bá ara ògo rẹ̀ mu, nípa agbára tí ó mú kí ó ṣe é ṣe fún un láti tẹ orí ohun gbogbo bá fún ara rẹ̀.
