Matthew 20
1 "For the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who went out at dawn to hire workmen for his vineyard.
སྭརྒརཱཛྱམ྄ ཨེཏཱདྲྀཤཱ ཀེནཙིད྄ གྲྀཧསྱེན སམཾ, ཡོ྅ཏིཔྲབྷཱཏེ ནིཛདྲཱཀྵཱཀྵེཏྲེ ཀྲྀཥཀཱན྄ ནིཡོཀྟུཾ གཏཝཱན྄།
2 "And when he had agreed with the workmen for two shillings a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
པཤྩཱཏ྄ ཏཻཿ སཱཀཾ དིནཻཀབྷྲྀཏིཾ མུདྲཱཙཏུརྠཱཾཤཾ ནིརཱུཔྱ ཏཱན྄ དྲཱཀྵཱཀྵེཏྲཾ པྲེརཡཱམཱས།
3 "About nine o’clock he went out and noticed some other workmen standing idle in the market-place;
ཨནནྟརཾ པྲཧརཻཀཝེལཱཡཱཾ གཏྭཱ ཧཊྚེ ཀཏིཔཡཱན྄ ནིཥྐརྨྨཀཱན྄ ཝིལོཀྱ ཏཱནཝདཏ྄,
4 "and he said to them, "‘Do you also go into the vineyard, and whatever is just I will pay you.’
ཡཱུཡམཔི མམ དྲཱཀྵཱཀྵེཏྲཾ ཡཱཏ, ཡུཥྨབྷྱམཧཾ ཡོགྱབྷྲྀཏིཾ དཱསྱཱམི, ཏཏསྟེ ཝཝྲཛུཿ།
5 "So they went. Again at noon, and about three o’clock, he went out and did the same thing.
པུནཤྩ ས དྭིཏཱིཡཏྲྀཏཱིཡཡོཿ པྲཧརཡོ རྦཧི རྒཏྭཱ ཏཐཻཝ ཀྲྀཏཝཱན྄།
6 "When he went out about five o’clock, he found others standing around, and said to them, "‘Why have you been standing here idle, all the day long?’
ཏཏོ དཎྜདྭཡཱཝཤིཥྚཱཡཱཾ ཝེལཱཡཱཾ བཧི རྒཏྭཱཔརཱན྄ ཀཏིཔཡཛནཱན྄ ནིཥྐརྨྨཀཱན྄ ཝིལོཀྱ པྲྀཥྚཝཱན྄, ཡཱུཡཾ ཀིམརྠམ྄ ཨཏྲ སཪྻྭཾ དིནཾ ནིཥྐརྨྨཱཎསྟིཥྛཐ?
7 "‘Because no one has hired us,’ they replied. "He said to them, ‘Do you also go into the vineyard.’
ཏེ པྲཏྱཝདན྄, ཨསྨཱན྄ ན ཀོཔི ཀརྨམཎི ནིཡུཾཀྟེ། ཏདཱནཱིཾ ས ཀཐིཏཝཱན྄, ཡཱུཡམཔི མམ དྲཱཀྵཱཀྵེཏྲཾ ཡཱཏ, ཏེན ཡོགྱཱཾ བྷྲྀཏིཾ ལཔྶྱཐ།
8 "And when evening came, the Lord of the vineyard said to his steward, "‘Call the workmen and pay them their wages, beginning with the last hired and ending with the first.’
ཏདནནྟརཾ སནྡྷྱཱཡཱཾ སཏྱཱཾ སཨེཝ དྲཱཀྵཱཀྵེཏྲཔཏིརདྷྱཀྵཾ གདིཝཱན྄, ཀྲྀཥཀཱན྄ ཨཱཧཱུཡ ཤེཥཛནམཱརབྷྱ པྲཐམཾ ཡཱཝཏ྄ ཏེབྷྱོ བྷྲྀཏིཾ དེཧི།
9 "When those came who had begun at five o’clock, they received two shillings apiece;
ཏེན ཡེ དཎྜདྭཡཱཝསྠིཏེ སམཱཡཱཏཱསྟེཥཱམ྄ ཨེཀཻཀོ ཛནོ མུདྲཱཙཏུརྠཱཾཤཾ པྲཱཔྣོཏ྄།
10 "and when the first came they supposed that they would get more, but they also received each two shillings.
ཏདཱནཱིཾ པྲཐམནིཡུཀྟཱ ཛནཱ ཨཱགཏྱཱནུམིཏཝནྟོ ཝཡམདྷིཀཾ པྲཔྶྱཱམཿ, ཀིནྟུ ཏཻརཔི མུདྲཱཙཏུརྠཱཾཤོ྅ལཱབྷི།
11 "And as they took it they began to grumble against the master of the house.
ཏཏསྟེ ཏཾ གྲྀཧཱིཏྭཱ ཏེན ཀྵེཏྲཔཏིནཱ སཱཀཾ ཝཱགྱུདྡྷཾ ཀུཪྻྭནྟཿ ཀཐཡཱམཱསུཿ,
12 "‘Those last men,’ they said, ‘have toiled only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the burning heat of the day.’
ཝཡཾ ཀྲྀཏྶྣཾ དིནཾ ཏཱཔཀླེཤཽ སོཌྷཝནྟཿ, ཀིནྟུ པཤྩཱཏཱཡཱ སེ ཛནཱ དཎྜདྭཡམཱཏྲཾ པརིཤྲཱནྟཝནྟསྟེ྅སྨཱབྷིཿ སམཱནཱཾཤཱཿ ཀྲྀཏཱཿ།
13 "In reply he said to one of them. ‘My friend, I am doing no wrong. Did you not agree with me for two shillings?
ཏཏཿ ས ཏེཥཱམེཀཾ པྲཏྱུཝཱཙ, ཧེ ཝཏྶ, མཡཱ ཏྭཱཾ པྲཏི ཀོཔྱནྱཱཡོ ན ཀྲྀཏཿ ཀིཾ ཏྭཡཱ མཏྶམཀྵཾ མུདྲཱཙཏུརྠཱཾཤོ ནཱངྒཱིཀྲྀཏཿ?
14 "Take your wage and begone! I chose to give to this last man the same as to you.
ཏསྨཱཏ྄ ཏཝ ཡཏ྄ པྲཱཔྱཾ ཏདཱདཱཡ ཡཱཧི, ཏུབྷྱཾ ཡཏི, པཤྩཱཏཱིཡནིཡུཀྟལོཀཱཡཱཔི ཏཏི དཱཏུམིཙྪཱམི།
15 "Have I not the right to do what I choose with my own property? Or is your eye evil because I am generous?’
སྭེཙྪཡཱ ནིཛདྲཝྱཝྱཝཧརཎཾ ཀིཾ མཡཱ ན ཀརྟྟཝྱཾ? མམ དཱཏྲྀཏྭཱཏ྄ ཏྭཡཱ ཀིམ྄ ཨཱིརྵྱཱདྲྀཥྚིཿ ཀྲིཡཏེ?
16 "So the last shall be first, and the first, last."
ཨིཏྠམ྄ ཨགྲཱིཡལོཀཱཿ པཤྩཏཱིཡཱ བྷཝིཥྱནྟི, པཤྩཱཏཱིཡཛནཱཤྩགྲཱིཡཱ བྷཝིཥྱནྟི, ཨཧཱུཏཱ བཧཝཿ ཀིནྟྭལྤེ མནོབྷིལཥིཏཱཿ།
17 When Jesus was about to go up to Jerusalem, he took the Twelve aside by themselves, and as they went he said to them.
ཏདནནྟརཾ ཡཱིཤུ ཪྻིརཱུཤཱལམྣགརཾ གཙྪན྄ མཱརྒམདྷྱེ ཤིཥྱཱན྄ ཨེཀཱནྟེ ཝབྷཱཥེ,
18 "Look! We are on the way up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the scribes. They will condemn him to death,
པཤྱ ཝཡཾ ཡིརཱུཤཱལམྣགརཾ ཡཱམཿ, ཏཏྲ པྲདྷཱནཡཱཛཀཱདྷྱཱཔཀཱནཱཾ ཀརེཥུ མནུཥྱཔུཏྲཿ སམརྤིཥྱཏེ;
19 "and hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and scourged and crucified; and on the third day he will rise from the grave."
ཏེ ཙ ཏཾ ཧནྟུམཱཛྙཱཔྱ ཏིརསྐྲྀཏྱ ཝེཏྲེཎ པྲཧརྟྟུཾ ཀྲུཤེ དྷཱཏཡིཏུཉྩཱནྱདེཤཱིཡཱནཱཾ ཀརེཥུ སམརྤཡིཥྱནྟི, ཀིནྟུ ས ཏྲྀཏཱིཡདིཝསེ ཤྨཤཱནཱད྄ ཨུཏྠཱཔིཥྱཏེ།
20 Then came to him the mother of the sons of Zebedee, with her sons, kneeling down and begging a favor of him.
ཏདཱནཱིཾ སིཝདཱིཡསྱ ནཱརཱི སྭཔུཏྲཱཝཱདཱཡ ཡཱིཤོཿ སམཱིཔམ྄ ཨེཏྱ པྲཎམྱ ཀཉྩནཱནུགྲཧཾ ཏཾ ཡཡཱཙེ།
21 "What is it you wish?" he said. She answered, "Command that these my two sons may sit upon your right hand and your left in your kingdom."
ཏདཱ ཡཱིཤུསྟཱཾ པྲོཀྟཝཱན྄, ཏྭཾ ཀིཾ ཡཱཙསེ? ཏཏཿ སཱ བབྷཱཥེ, བྷཝཏོ རཱཛཏྭེ མམཱནཡོཿ སུཏཡོརེཀཾ བྷཝདྡཀྵིཎཔཱརྴྭེ དྭིཏཱིཡཾ ཝཱམཔཱརྴྭ ཨུཔཝེཥྚུམ྄ ཨཱཛྙཱཔཡཏུ།
ཡཱིཤུཿ པྲཏྱུཝཱཙ, ཡུཝཱབྷྱཱཾ ཡད྄ ཡཱཙྱཏེ, ཏནྣ བུདྷྱཏེ, ཨཧཾ ཡེན ཀཾསེན པཱསྱཱམི ཡུཝཱབྷྱཱཾ ཀིཾ ཏེན པཱཏུཾ ཤཀྱཏེ? ཨཧཉྩ ཡེན མཛྫེནེན མཛྫིཥྱེ, ཡུཝཱབྷྱཱཾ ཀིཾ ཏེན མཛྫཡིཏུཾ ཤཀྱཏེ? ཏེ ཛགདུཿ ཤཀྱཏེ།
23 "None of you indeed shall drink," he answered, "but to sit at my right hand or at my left is not mine to grant, but belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father."
ཏདཱ ས ཨུཀྟཝཱན྄, ཡུཝཱཾ མམ ཀཾསེནཱཝཤྱཾ པཱསྱཐཿ, མམ མཛྫནེན ཙ ཡུཝཱམཔི མཛྫིཥྱེཐེ, ཀིནྟུ ཡེཥཱཾ ཀྲྀཏེ མཏྟཱཏེན ནིརཱུཔིཏམ྄ ཨིདཾ ཏཱན྄ ཝིཧཱཡཱནྱཾ ཀམཔི མདྡཀྵིཎཔཱརྴྭེ ཝཱམཔཱརྴྭེ ཙ སམུཔཝེཤཡིཏུཾ མམཱདྷིཀཱརོ ནཱསྟི།
24 When the ten heard of this, they were indignant at the two brothers;
ཨེཏཱཾ ཀཐཱཾ ཤྲུཏྭཱནྱེ དཤཤིཥྱཱསྟཽ བྷྲཱཏརཽ པྲཏི ཙུཀུཔུཿ།
25 but Jesus called them to him and said. "You know how the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority over them.
ཀིནྟུ ཡཱིཤུཿ སྭསམཱིཔཾ ཏཱནཱཧཱུཡ ཛགཱད, ཨནྱདེཤཱིཡལོཀཱནཱཾ ནརཔཏཡསྟཱན྄ ཨདྷིཀུཪྻྭནྟི, ཡེ ཏུ མཧཱནྟསྟེ ཏཱན྄ ཤཱསཏི, ཨིཏི ཡཱུཡཾ ཛཱནཱིཐ།
26 "Not so shall it be among you. But whoever among you wishes to become great, shall be your minister,
ཀིནྟུ ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ མདྷྱེ ན ཏཐཱ བྷཝེཏ྄, ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ ཡཿ ཀཤྩིཏ྄ མཧཱན྄ བུབྷཱུཥཏི, ས ཡུཥྨཱན྄ སེཝེཏ;
27 "and whoever wishes to be first among you, shall be your slave;
ཡཤྩ ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ མདྷྱེ མུཁྱོ བུབྷཱུཥཏི, ས ཡུཥྨཱཀཾ དཱསོ བྷཝེཏ྄།
28 "just as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
ཨིཏྠཾ མནུཛཔུཏྲཿ སེཝྱོ བྷཝིཏུཾ ནཧི, ཀིནྟུ སེཝིཏུཾ བཧཱུནཱཾ པརིཏྲཱཎམཱུལྱཱརྠཾ སྭཔྲཱཎཱན྄ དཱཏུཉྩཱགཏཿ།
29 Now as they were leaving Jericho a great crowd followed him.
ཨནནྟརཾ ཡིརཱིཧོནགརཱཏ྄ ཏེཥཱཾ བཧིརྒམནསམཡེ ཏསྱ པཤྩཱད྄ བཧཝོ ལོཀཱ ཝཝྲཛུཿ།
30 And two blind men, sitting by the side of the road, heard that it was Jesus who was passing by, and cried out, "Have pity on us, Master, Son of David!"
ཨཔརཾ ཝརྟྨཔཱརྴྭ ཨུཔཝིཤནྟཽ དྭཱཝནྡྷཽ ཏེན མཱརྒེཎ ཡཱིཤོ རྒམནཾ ནིཤམྱ པྲོཙྩཻཿ ཀཐཡཱམཱསཏུཿ, ཧེ པྲབྷོ དཱཡཱུདཿ སནྟཱན, ཨཱཝཡོ རྡཡཱཾ ཝིདྷེཧི།
31 But the crowd checked them, to make them keep still. They cried out all the louder, saying, "Master, have pity on us, Son of David!"
ཏཏོ ལོཀཱཿ སཪྻྭེ ཏུཥྞཱིམྦྷཝཏམིཏྱུཀྟྭཱ ཏཽ ཏརྫཡཱམཱསུཿ; ཏཐཱཔི ཏཽ པུནརུཙྩཻཿ ཀཐཡཱམཱསཏུཿ ཧེ པྲབྷོ དཱཡཱུདཿ སནྟཱན, ཨཱཝཱཾ དཡསྭ།
32 Then Jesus stopped and called to them, "What do you want me to do for you?"
ཏདཱནཱིཾ ཡཱིཤུཿ སྠགིཏཿ སན྄ ཏཱཝཱཧཱུཡ བྷཱཥིཏཝཱན྄, ཡུཝཡོཿ ཀྲྀཏེ མཡཱ ཀིཾ ཀརྟྟཪྻྱཾ? ཡུཝཱཾ ཀིཾ ཀཱམཡེཐེ?
33 "Master," they answered, "let our eyes be opened."
ཏདཱ ཏཱཝུཀྟཝནྟཽ, པྲབྷོ ནེཏྲཱཎི ནཽ པྲསནྣཱནི བྷཝེཡུཿ།
34 Then Jesus, moved with compassion, touched their eyes, and they saw at once, and followed him.
ཏདཱནཱིཾ ཡཱིཤུསྟཽ པྲཏི པྲམནྣཿ སན྄ ཏཡོ རྣེཏྲཱཎི པསྤརྴ, ཏེནཻཝ ཏཽ སུཝཱིཀྵཱཉྩཀྲཱཏེ ཏཏྤཤྩཱཏ྄ ཛགྨུཏུཤྩ།
