Luke 6
1 It happened that on a Sabbath he was going through the wheat-fields. His disciples were picking the ears and eating the wheat, rubbing it out with their hands.
१नंतर असे झाले की, एका शब्बाथ दिवशी येशू शेतामधून जात होता आणि त्याचे शिष्य कणसे मोडून हातावर चोळून खात होते.
2 And some of the Pharisees asked, "Why are you doing what it is not lawful to do on the Sabbath?"
२मग परूश्यांपैकी काही म्हणाले, “शब्बाथ दिवशी जे करण्यास योग्य नाही, ते तुम्ही का करता?”
3 "Have you never read," answered Jesus, "what David did when he and his followers were hungry?
३येशूने त्यांना म्हटले, “जेव्हा दावीद व त्याच्याबरोबरच्या मनुष्यांना भूक लागली तेव्हा त्यांनी काय केले हे तुम्ही कधी वाचले नाही काय?
4 "How he entered into God’s house and took and ate the Presented Loaves, and gave some to his followers, loaves which none must eat but the priests?
४तो देवाच्या घरात गेला आणि ज्या समर्पित भाकरी याजकांशिवाय कोणीच खाणे योग्य नाही त्या त्याने कशा घेऊन खाल्ल्या व आपल्याबरोबर जे होते त्यांनाही दिल्या.”
5 "THE SON OF MAN," he told them, "IS LORD EVEN OVER THE SABBATH."
५आणखी येशू त्यांना म्हणाला, “मनुष्याचा पुत्र शब्बाथाचा प्रभू आहे.”
6 On another Sabbath he went into a synagogue and was teaching; and there was there a man whose right hand was withered.
६असे झाले की, दुसऱ्या एका शब्बाथ दिवशी येशू सभास्थानात गेला आणि शिकवू लागला. ज्याचा उजवा हात वाळलेला होता असा एक मनुष्य तेथे होता.
7 Now the Scribes and Pharisees kept watching to see if he would heal on the Sabbath, so that they might be able to bring on accusations to him.
७येशू शब्बाथ दिवशी कोणाला बरे करतो की काय हे पाहण्यासाठी नियमशास्त्राचे शिक्षक व परूशी त्याच्यावर लक्ष ठेवून होते. यासाठी की त्यांना आरोप ठेवण्यासाठी काहीतरी कारण मिळावे.
8 He was all along aware of their thoughts; and he said to the man with the withered hand, "Rise, and stand there in the midst."
८परंतु तो त्यांचे विचार जाणून वाळलेल्या हाताच्या मनुष्यास म्हणाला, “ऊठ आणि सर्वांसमोर उभा राहा,” आणि तो मनुष्य उठून तेथे उभा राहिला.
9 So he rose and stood. Then Jesus said to them. "I ask you whether it is lawful on the Sabbath Day to do good or to do harm? To save a life or to destroy it?"
९येशू त्यांना म्हणाला, “मी तुम्हास विचारतो, शब्बाथ दिवशी कोणत्या गोष्टी करायला परवानगी आहे? चांगले करणे की वाईट करणे? कोणते कायदेशीर आहे, एखाद्याचा जीव वाचवणे का त्याचा नाश करणे?”
10 Then he looked round about on them in anger, and said to him, "Stretch out your hand!"
१०मग त्याने सभोवती त्या सर्वांकडे पाहीले आणि म्हणाला, “तू आपला हात लांब कर.” तेव्हा त्याने तसे केले आणि त्याचा हात बरा झाला.
11 He did so; and his hand was restored. But they were filled with fury, and they began to talk over together what they could do to Jesus.
११पण परूशी व नियमशास्त्राचे शिक्षक खूप रागावले व येशूविषयी काय करता येईल याविषयी आपसात चर्चा करू लागले.
12 It happened about that time that he went out into the mountain to pray. He continued all night in prayer to God.
१२त्या दिवसात असे झाले की, येशू प्रार्थना करण्यासाठी डोंगरावर गेला. त्याने ती रात्र देवाची प्रार्थना करण्यात घालवली.
13 And when day dawned he called his disciples, and from among them he selected twelve, whom also he called Apostles missionaries.
१३जेव्हा दिवस उगवला, तेव्हा त्याने शिष्यांना आपणाकडे बोलावले. त्याने त्यांच्यातील बाराजणांना निवडले व त्यांना ‘प्रेषित’ असे नाव दिले.
14 They were Simon, whom he had also called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James and John;
१४शिमोन ज्याला पेत्र हे सुद्धा नाव दिले तो अंद्रिया (पेत्राचा भाऊ), याकोब आणि योहान, फिलिप्प, बर्थलमय,
15 Philip and Bartholomew; Mathew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon called the Zealot;
१५मत्तय, थोमा, अल्फीचा पुत्र याकोब, शिमोन ज्याला जिलोत म्हणत,
16 Jude the son of James, and Judas Iscariot who was the traitor.
१६याकोबचा पुत्र यहूदा व यहूदा इस्कर्योत, जो पुढे विश्वासघात करणारा निघाला.
17 With these he came down till he reached a level place, where there was a great crowd of his disciples and a great many people from all Judea and Jerusalem and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon. These came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases.
१७तो त्यांच्याबरोबर डोंगरावरून खाली उतरला व सपाट जागेवर उभा राहिला आणि त्याच्या अनुयायांचा मोठा समुदाय तेथे आला व यहूदीया प्रांत, यरूशलेम शहर, सोर आणि सिदोनच्या समुद्रकिनाऱ्याकडचे असे पुष्कळसे लोक तेथे आले होते.
18 Those who were tormented by unclean spirits were healed also.
१८ते तेथे त्याचे ऐकण्यास व आपल्या रोगांपासून बरे होण्यास आले व ज्यांना अशुद्ध आत्म्यांची बाधा होती त्यांनाही त्यांच्या व्याधीपासून मुक्त करण्यात आले.
19 The whole crowd were trying to touch him, because power emanated from him and cured them all.
१९सगळा लोकसमुदाय त्यास स्पर्श करू पाहत होता, कारण त्याच्यामधून सामर्थ्य येत होते आणि सर्वांना ते बरे करत होते.
20 Then raising his eyes upon his disciples he began to say to them. "Blessed are you poor, For the kingdom of God is yours.
२०मग येशूने आपल्या शिष्यांकडे पाहिले व म्हणाला, “अहो दिनांनो, तुम्ही धन्य आहात कारण देवाचे राज्य तुमचे आहे.
21 "Blessed are you who are hungry now, For you shall be filled. "Blessed are you who are wailing now, For you shall laugh.
२१अहो जे तुम्ही आता भूकेले आहात, ते तुम्ही धन्य आहात, कारण तुम्ही तृप्त व्हाल. अहो जे तुम्ही आता रडता, ते तुम्ही आशीर्वादित आहात कारण तुम्ही हसाल.
22 "Blessed are you when men shall hate you, And excommunicate you and reproach you, and cast out your name as evil because of the Son of man.
२२जेव्हा मनुष्याच्या पुत्रामुळे लोक तुमचा द्वेष करतील आणि जेव्हा ते आपल्या समाजातून तुम्हास दूर करतील व तुमची निंदा करतील व तुमचे नाव ते वाईट म्हणून टाकून देतील आणि मनुष्याच्या पुत्रामुळे तुम्हास नाकारतील, तेव्हा तुम्ही धन्य आहात.
23 "Rejoice in that day and exult, For your reward is great in heaven; For even so did their fathers to the prophets.
२३त्यादिवशी आनंद करून उड्या मारा, कारण खरोखर स्वर्गात तुमचे प्रतिफळ मोठे आहे! कारण त्यांच्या पूर्वजांनी संदेष्ट्यांना सुद्धा तसेच केले.
24 "But woe to you rich! For you already have received your consolation.
२४पण श्रीमंतानो, तुम्हास दुःख होवो कारण तुम्हास अगोदरच सर्व सुख मिळाले आहे.
25 "Woe unto you who are full now! For you shall suffer hunger. "Woe to you who are laughing now! For you shall wail and weep.
२५जे तुम्ही तृप्त आहात त्या तुम्हास दुःख होवो, कारण तुम्ही भूकेले व्हाल. जे आता हसतात त्यांना दुःख होवो कारण तुम्ही शोक कराल आणि रडाल.
26 "Woe to you when all men shall speak well of you! For even so did their fathers to the false prophets.
२६जेव्हा सर्व तुमच्याविषयी चांगले बोलतील तेव्हा तुम्हास दुःख होवो कारण त्यांच्या वाडवडिलांनी खोट्या संदेष्ट्यांना असेच केले.”
27 "But to you who are listening to me I say, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
२७“परंतु तुम्हा ऐकणाऱ्यांस मी सांगतो, तुमच्या शत्रूंवर प्रीती करा. जे तुमचा द्वेष करतात, त्यांचे चांगले करा.
28 Bless those who curse you, pray for those who calumniate you.
२८जे तुम्हास शाप देतात त्यांना आशीर्वाद द्या. जे तुमचा अपमान करतात त्यांच्यासाठी प्रार्थना करा.
29 To him who gives you a blow on the jaw Turn the other jaw also; And from him who is robbing you of your cloak Withhold not your coat also.
२९जर कोणी तुमच्या एका गालावर मारतो तर त्याच्यासमोर दुसराही गाल करा. जर कोणी तुमचा अंगरखा घेतो तर त्यास तुमची बंडी ही घेऊन जाण्यास मना करू नका.
30 Give to every one who asks you; And do not demand your goods back from him who is taking them away.
३०जे तुम्हास मागतात त्या प्रत्येकाला द्या आणि जो तुमची वस्तू हिरावून घेतो त्याच्यापाशी ते परत मागू नको.
31 And as you would like men to do to you, So do you also to them.
३१आणि जसे मनुष्यांनी तुमच्याशी वागावे म्हणून तुमची इच्छा असेल तसेच तुम्हीही त्यांच्याशी वागा.
32 "If you love those who love you what credit is it to you? Why even sinners love those who love them.
३२तुमच्यावर जे प्रीती करतात त्यांच्यावर तुम्ही प्रीती करा, तर त्यामध्ये तुमचा उपकार तो काय? कारण पापी लोकही आपणावर प्रीती करणाऱ्यांवर प्रीती करतात.
33 "And if you are kind to those who are kind to you, what credit is it to you? Even sinners do the same.
३३तुमचे जे चांगले करतात, त्यांचे जर तुम्ही चांगले करता तर तुम्हास काय लाभ? पापीसुद्धा असेच करतात.
34 "And if you lend to those from whom you are hoping to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, so as to get as much back.
३४ज्यांच्याकडून तुम्हास परत मिळेल अशी आशा असते, त्यांना जर उसने देता तर तुम्हास काय लाभ? पापीसुद्धा परत मिळावे या उद्देशाने दुसऱ्या पाप्याला उसने देतात.
35 "But you must love even your enemies and be kind to them, And lend, despairing of no man. Then your reward will be great, And you will be the sons of the Most High; For he is kind even to the ungrateful and to the evil.
३५परंतु तुम्ही आपल्या शत्रूंवर प्रीती करा व त्यांचे बरे करा आणि निराश न होता उसने द्या म्हणजे तुमचे प्रतिफळ मोठे होईल व तुम्ही परात्पराचे पुत्र व्हाल कारण तो अनुपकारी व वाईट यांच्यावर तो दया करणारा आहे.
36 "Do you therefore be merciful, As your Father is merciful.
३६जसा तुमचा स्वर्गीय पिता दयाळू आहे तसे तुम्हीही दयाळू व्हा.”
37 "Do not judge, and you shall not be judged; Do not condemn, and you shall not be condemned;
३७“दुसऱ्यांचा न्याय करू नका, म्हणजे तुमचाही न्याय होणार नाही. दुसऱ्यांना दोषी ठरवू नका म्हणजे तुम्हास दोषी ठरवले जाणार नाही. दुसऱ्यांची क्षमा करा म्हणजे तुमचीही क्षमा केली जाईल.
38 "Pardon, and you shall be pardoned; Give, and gifts shall be given to you; Full measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, they shall pour into your bosom. For with what measure you measure, they will measure back to you."
३८द्या म्हणजे तुम्हास दिले जाईल. चांगले माप दाबून, हालवून व शीग भरून तुमच्या पदरी घालतील कारण ज्या मापाने तुम्ही मापून द्याल त्याच मापाने तुम्हास परत मापून देण्यात येईल.”
39 He also told them a parable. "Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit?
३९त्याने त्यांना एक दाखला सांगितला, “एक आंधळा दुसऱ्या आंधळ्याला मार्ग दाखवू शकेल काय? ते दोघेही खड्डयात पडणार नाहीत काय?
40 "There is no disciple who is above his master; But every one when he is completely trained will be like his master.
४०कोणताही शिष्य त्याच्या गुरुपेक्षा थोर नाही. पण प्रत्येक शिष्य जेव्हा पूर्ण शिकतो तेव्हा तो गुरुसारखाच होतो.
41 "And why do you look at the splinter that is in your brother’s eye, but never consider the beam that is in your own eye?
४१स्वतःच्या डोळ्यातील मुसळ ध्यानात न आणता तू आपल्या भावाच्या डोळ्यातील कुसळ का पाहतोस?
42 "Or how can you say to your brother. "Brother, allow me to pull that splinter out of your eye," when you do not see the beam in your own eye? Hypocrite! Take out first the beam from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the splinter from your brother’s eye.
४२अथवा तू आपल्या डोळ्यातले मुसळ न पाहता आपल्या भावाला कसे म्हणशील की, भाऊ, तुझ्या डोळ्यातले कुसळ मला काढू दे? अरे ढोंग्या, प्रथम तुझ्या डोळ्यातील मुसळ काढ मगच तुला तुझ्या भावाच्या डोळ्यातील कुसळ काढताना चांगले दिसेल.”
43 "For there is not good tree which bears worthless fruit, nor again any worthless tree which bears good fruit; for each tree is known by its own fruit.
४३कोणतेही चांगले झाड नाही की जे वाईट फळ देते किंवा कोणतेही वाईट झाड नाही की जे चांगले फळ देते.
44 "You do not gather figs from thorns, and grapes are not plucked from a bramble-bush.
४४कारण प्रत्येक झाड हे त्याच्या फळावरुन ओळखले जाते. लोक काटेरी झुडुपातून अंजीरे गोळा करीत नाहीत तसेच काटेरी झुडुपातून ते द्राक्षे गोळा करीत नाहीत.
45 "The good man out of the good treasure-house of his heart brings forth good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure-house of his heart brings forth evil; for the mouth speaks out of the abundance of the heart.
४५चांगला मनुष्य त्याच्या अंतःकरणात ज्या चांगल्या गोष्टी साठवलेल्या असतात त्याच काढतो आणि दुष्ट मनुष्य त्याच्या अंतःकरणात जे वाईट आहे तेच बाहेर काढतो कारण अंतःकरणात जे भरले आहे तेच मुखावाटे निघणार.
46 "And why are you calling me Lord, Lord, and not doing what I tell you?
४६“तुम्ही मला ‘प्रभू, प्रभू,’ म्हणता, पण जे मी सांगतो ते तुम्ही का करीत नाही?
47 "I will show whom the man that comes to me, and listens to my works, and does them, is like.
४७प्रत्येकजण जो माझ्याकडे येतो व माझी वचने ऐकून त्या आज्ञा पाळतो तो कसा आहे हे मी तुम्हास दाखवितो.
48 "He is like a man who is building a house who digged and went deep and laid a foundation upon rock. And, when a flood came, the torrent dashed against that house, but could not move, because it had been founded upon rock.
४८तो एका घर बांधणाऱ्या मनुष्यासारखा आहे. त्याने खोल खोदले आणि खडकावर पाया बांधला. मग पूर आला आणि पाण्याचा लोंढा घरावर आदळला, पण पाण्याने ते हलले नाही, कारण ते चांगले बांधले होते.
49 "But he who listens but does not do, is like a man who built a house upon the soil, without foundations, against which the torrent burst, and at once it fell in, and the ruin of that house was great."
४९पण जो कोणी माझी वचने ऐकतो पण ती पाळीत नाही तो ज्याने आपले घर पाया न घालता जमिनीवर बांधले त्या मनुष्यासारखा आहे, त्या घरावर पाण्याचा लोंढा आदळला आणि ते लागलेच पडले व त्या घराचा मोठा नाश झाला.”
