Hebrews 13
1 Let brotherly love continue.
Beharret in brüderlicher Liebe.
2 Do not neglect to show hospitality; for by it some have even entertained angels unawares.
Haltet auf Gastfreundschaft; durch sie haben ohne ihr Wissen manche schon Engel beherbergt.
3 Remember those who are in prison, as if you were fellow prisoners; remember too, those who are being ill-treated, since you too, are in the body.
Nehmt euch der Gefangenen an, als wäret ihr mitgefangen, der Leidenden als solche, die selbst noch im Leibe wallen.
4 Let marriage be held in honor by all, and the marriage bed be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers will God judge.
Die Ehe soll durchaus in Ehren gehalten werden und das Ehebett unbefleckt; Hurer und Ehebrecher wird Gott richten.
5 Let your life be untainted by love of money; be content with such things as you have; for God himself has said, I will never leave thee; I will never forsake thee.
Euer Wandel sei ohne Geiz; lasset euch begnügen an dem, was da ist, denn Er Selbst hat gesagt: Ich will dich nicht verlassen, noch versäumen.
6 So that we can say with confidence, The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
Darum dürfen wir getrost sagen: Der Herr ist mein Helfer, und ich will mich nicht fürchten. Was sollte mir ein Mensch tun?
7 Remember your leaders, the men who spoke the message of God to you; consider the issue of their lives, and imitate their faith.
Gedenket an eure Vorsteher, die euch das Wort Gottes verkündigt haben. Schaut auf den Ausgang ihres Wandels und eifert ihrem Glauben nach!
Jesus Christus gestern und heute und derselbe auch in Ewigkeit. (aiōn g165)
9 Do not allow yourselves to be swept away by various and strange teachings. For it is a beautiful thing to be established in heart by grace, and not by regulations regarding food, from which those that occupied themselves with them have derived no benefit.
Lasset euch nicht durch die vielerlei fremdartigen Lehren irre machen; denn es ist ein köstlich Ding, das Herz durch die Gnade zu stärken, nicht durch Speisen, von denen keinen Nutzen hatten, die damit umgingen.
10 We Christians have an altar from which those have no right to eat who minister in the Tabernacle.
Wir haben einen Altar, von dem nicht essen dürfen, die dem Zelt dienen.
11 For the bodies of the animals whose blood is carried by the High Priest into the Holy Place are burned outside the camp,
Denn welcher Tiere Blut als Sündopfer vom Hohenpriester in das Heiligtum hineingetragen wird, derselbigen Leiber werden außerhalb des Lagers verbrannt.
12 and so Jesus suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people by his own blood.
Darum hat auch Jesus, auf daß Er das Volk durch Sein eigen Blut heiligte, außerhalb des Tores gelitten.
13 Let us then go forth to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach.
So lasset uns denn zu Ihm hinaus vor das Lager gehen, und Seine Schmach tragen.
14 For we have not here an abiding city, but we are earnestly seeking the city that is to be.
Denn wir haben hier keine bleibende Stadt, sondern die zukünftige suchen wir.
15 In his name, then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is the fruit of lips that confess his name.
So lasset uns nun durch Ihn Gott darbringen Lobopfer allezeit, das heißt: die Frucht der Lippen, die Seinen Namen bekennen.
16 And forget not to be kind and liberal; for with that sort of sacrifice God is well pleased.
Lasset nicht ab, wohlzutun und mitzuteilen; denn an solchen Opfern hat Gott Wohlgefallen.
17 Obey your leaders and submit to them; for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who must give account; that they may do thus with joy and not with lamentation, for this would be unprofitable to you.
Folget euren Vorstehern und gebt ihnen nach; denn sie wachen über eure Seelen, als die da Rechenschaft geben sollen, auf daß sie es mit Freuden tun und nicht mit Seufzen; denn das frommt euch nicht.
18 Keep on praying for me. I am persuaded that I have a clear conscience, and I desire in every way to live nobly.
Betet für uns; denn wir sind guter Zuversicht, daß wir ein gut Gewissen haben, und fleißigen uns in allen Stücken, einen guten Wandel zu führen.
19 I the more earnestly ask for your prayers, that I may be the more speedily restored to you.
Ich bitte euch aber um so mehr, solches zu tun, auf daß ich desto eher wieder zu euch komme.
20 Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of an eternal covenant, (aiōnios g166)
Der Gott des Friedens aber, Der von den Toten heraufgeführt hat den großen Hirten der Schafe durch das Blut des ewigen Bundes, unseren Herrn Jesus, (aiōnios g166)
21 equip you in every good deed for the doing of his will, doing in you what is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory unto the ages of the ages! Amen! (aiōn g165)
Der mache euch fertig in jeglichem guten Werk, zu tun Seinen Willen, und schaffe in euch, was vor Ihm wohlgefällig ist, durch Jesus Christus, Welchem sei Ehre in alle Ewigkeit! Amen. (aiōn g165)
22 But I entreat you, brothers, bear with my word of exhortation, for I have written to you briefly.
Ich ermahne euch aber, Brüder, lasset das Wort der Ermahnung an euch kommen; denn ich habe euch nur kurz geschrieben.
23 You know that our brother Timothy has been set free. If he comes soon, I will see him with you.
Wisset, daß Bruder Timotheus freigegeben ist; mit ihm werde ich, wenn er bald kommt, euch sehen.
24 Salute all your leaders and the saints. The brothers from Italy send you greeting.
Grüßet alle eure Vorsteher und alle Heiligen, es grüßen euch die aus Italien.
25 Grace be with you all, Amen.
Die Gnade sei mit euch allen! Amen.
