< Romans 6 >

1 What do we say, then? Shall we continue in sin, that favor may abound?
Erah ang abah, seng ih mamet li ih? Seng ah rangdah nah Rangte minchan ah boot chosuh tongruh ejih tamang ah?
2 By no means. How shall we, who have died to sin, continue to live in it?
Babah uh Tatongke! Seng ah rangdah thoi laalek tiili—erah doh mamah maakah ih tong ih?
3 Do you not know, that as many as have been immersed into Jesus Christ, have been immersed into his death?
Tumeah sen ih ejat jaatjaat ehan seng loong ah Jisu Kristo damdi roop ih no juungtem ti adi, heh tektheng adi roongroop temti.
4 We have been buried, then, together with him, by the immersion into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father; so we also shall walk in newness of life.
Erah thoidi seng juungtem nawa ih ba, heh mangbeng adi roong beng heeno he damdi roong tekli, mamah liidi Kristo tek nawa heh Wah chaan phaakjaaja dowa ih ngaaksaatta ah likhiik, seng uh emamah ena roidong ah toom choh ih liihi.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death; we shall then, also, certainly be in the likeness of his resurrection.
Seng ah heh tiita adi roongti liibah, heh tek nawa ngaakthingta adoh uh seng ah eroong ngaakthing eh ih.
6 Knowing this, that our old man has been crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we should not any longer serve sin:
Eno seng ih jat ehi seng ehak dowa roidong ah Kristo damdi banphak ni tek haatta, mamah liidi ehak roidong dowa rangdah chaan aphaan ah thet haat suh, eno rangdah suh seng ah heh dah lakah ang raang ih ah.
7 for he that has died is released from sin.
Erah thoih, seng etek eidi seng loong ah rangdah chaan nawa epui eli.
8 Moreover, if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him.
Seng Kristo damdi tekli bah, seng ih hanpi ehi heh damdoh eroong tong nep eh ih.
9 Knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies not again; death has no longer dominion over him:
Tumeah seng ih jat et hi Kristo ah tek nawa engaakthing eta eno heh babah uh takah we tiika—etek ih heh ah takah panka.
10 for that he has died, he has died for sin once: but that he lives, he lives for God.
Heh ah etek thoih, rangdah chaan aphaan rah ih heh ah takah jenka, amadi heh Rangte damdi heh roidong ah ething tongla.
11 So reckon yourselves also dead, indeed, to sin; but alive to God, by Jesus Christ.
Erah likhiikkhiik, sen ih rangdah ah je toktok dobah, senteewah tekcho ih samthun an, enoothong Rangte damdoh Jisu Kristo jun ih roomtong anno ba thingtong an.
12 Let not sin, therefore, reign in your mortal body, by obeying it.
Sen hansi tenthun ah phomok kap an suh sen sakpuh ah adowa ih rangdah ih nak jaatjaat toom panhan.
13 Neither present your members as instruments of unrighteousness, to sin; but present yourselves to God, as alive from the dead; and your members as instruments of righteousness, to God.
Adoleh anlak an lah ah ethih nah rangdah suh lajaatjaat maak thuk theng. Erah nang ih bah, etek nawa ngaak saatsiit choi likhiik senteewah ah Rangte suh koh an nyia senpuh sensak ah kateng lampo nah heh suh maak thuk an.
14 Besides, sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under law, but under favor.
Rangdah ah sen changte nak jaatjaat toom ang ah; tumeah sen ah hootthe jun ih tasongtong kan, erah nang ih bah Rangte minchan ni tonglan.
15 What then do we say? Shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under favor?
Emah ang abah? Seng rangdah ah dah ruh tame ih, tumeah seng ah Hootthe lathong ni lah angthang ih Rangte minchan ni tongthoih eah? Babah uh tah angka!
16 Do you not know, that to whom you present yourselves servants, by obedience; his servants you are whom you thus obey; whether of sin into death, or of obedience into righteousness?
Sen ih amiimi jat ehan, sen puh ah dah ang raangtaan ih o suh bah uh koh anbah, sen ah erah changte wah jengchaatchaat dah elang jaatjaat ete—etek thukte rangdah ang koja oh, adoleh Rangte jengchaatchaat eah ano Rangte damdoh kateng tongte ang koja oh.
17 But, thanks to God, that though you were the servants of sin; yet you have heartily obeyed that model of doctrine to which you have been given up.
Enoothong Rangte suh lakookmi! Tumeah pootsiit sen rangdah suh heh dah taat angtan bah uh, sen suh nyootsoot tahan amiisak tiit adi senthung sentak ah koh anno chokap han.
18 And being made free from sin, you have become the servants of righteousness.
Sen loong ah rangdah nawa doksoon thuk hanno kateng dah ih hoonlan.
19 (I speak after the manner of men, because of the infirmity of your flesh.) Wherefore, as you have presented your members servants to uncleanness, and to iniquity, to work iniquity; so present now your members, servants to righteousness, to work holiness.
(Sen loong ah hansi ni larooklata ang thoi ih jojang jengkhaap lam ih baat rumhala.) Pootsiit sen ih senteewah ah ethih nyi esot suh koh anno ethih suh dah thuktan. Erah likhiik amadoh sen sakpuh putang ih esa ang raang ih koh anno kateng dah jaatjaat ih hoon an.
20 For when you were servants of sin, you were free from righteousness.
Sen loong ah rangdah suh heh dah angtan adi, kateng ih tapan tahan.
21 And what fruit had you, then, from these things of which you are now ashamed? for the reward of these things is death.
Ehak di reetan dowa thaang ah tumjih chotan amadoh erakri eesuh ah? Erah tok dowa thaang abah etek ba hanih!
22 But now, being set free from sin, and having become servants of God, you have your fruit to holiness: and the end, everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
Enoothong amadi sen ah rangdah nawa puipang hanno Rangte dah ih hoon lan. Erah thaang ah sen ih esa roidong nyia lathoon theng roidong cholan. (aiōnios g166)
23 For the wages of sin is death: but the gracious gift of God is everlasting life, by Christ Jesus our Lord. (aiōnios g166)
Tumeah rangdah thaang ah—etek koha; enoothong Rangte di heh thaangmuh lakkot ah seng Teesu Jisu Kristo damdoh roop jun ih lathoon theng roidong ah. (aiōnios g166)
