Romans 12
1 Wherefore, brethren, I beseech you, by the tender mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Proszę was tedy, bracia! przez litości Boże, abyście stawiali ciała wasze ofiarą żywą, świętą, przyjemną Bogu, to jest rozumną służbę waszę.
2 And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind; that you may approve the will of God, which is good, and acceptable, and perfect. (aiōn g165)
A nie przypodobywajcie się temu światu, ale się przemieńcie przez odnowienie umysłu waszego na to, abyście doświadczyli, która jest wola Boża dobra, przyjemna i doskonała. (aiōn g165)
3 Also, by the favor which is given to me, I charge every one of you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think modestly, as God has distributed to every one a portion of his faith.
Albowiem powiadam przez łaskę, która mi jest dana, każdemu, co jest między wami, aby więcej o sobie nie rozumiał, niżeli potrzeba rozumieć; ale żeby o sobie rozumiał skromnie, tak jako komu Bóg udzielił miarę wiary.
4 For, as in one body we have many members, but all the members have not the same office;
Albowiem jako w jednem ciele wiele członków mamy, ale wszystkie członki nie jednoż dzieło mają:
5 so we, the many, are one body under Christ, and individually members of one another.
Tak wiele nas jest jednem ciałem w Chrystusie, aleśmy z osobna jedni drugich członkami.
6 Having, then, gifts, differing according to the favor which is given to us--if prophecy act according to the measure of faith--
Mając tedy różne dary według łaski, która nam jest dana; jeźli proroctwo, niech będzie według sznuru wiary;
7 if a ministerial office, in that office--if one is a teacher, in teaching--
Jeźli posługowanie, niech będzie w posługowaniu; jeźli kto naucza, niech trwa w nauczaniu;
8 and the exhorter, in exhortation. Let him who distributes act with disinterestedness--him that presides, with assiduity--him that shows mercy, with cheerfulness.
Jeźli kto napomina, w napominaniu; kto rozdaje, w szczerości; kto przełożony jest, w pilności; kto czyni miłosierdzie, niech czyni z ochotą.
9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor the evil--adhere closely to the good.
Miłość niech będzie nieobłudna; miejcie w obrzydliwości złe; imając się dobrego.
10 In brotherly love, be tenderly affectionate to one another--in honor, prefer one another.
Miłością braterską jedni ku drugim skłonni bądźcie, uczciwością jedni drugich uprzedzając.
11 In business, be not slothful. Be fervent in spirit-- constant in serving the Lord.
W pracy nie leniwi, duchem pałający, Panu służący;
12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, steadfastly persevering in prayer.
W nadziei się weselący, w ucisku cierpliwi, w modlitwie ustawiczni;
13 Communicate to the necessities of the saints. Follow hospitality to strangers.
Potrzebom świętych udzielający, gościnności naśladujący.
14 Bless them who persecute you--bless, and curse not.
Dobrorzeczcie tym, którzy was prześladują; dobrorzeczcie, a nie przeklinajcie.
15 Rejoice with them who rejoice, and weep with them who weep.
Weselcie się z weselącymi, a płaczcie z płaczącymi.
16 Be of the same disposition toward one another. Do not care for high things; but accommodate yourselves to those which are humble. Be not wise in your own conceits.
Bądźcie między sobą jednomyślni, wysoko o sobie nie rozumiejąc, ale się do niskich nakłaniając.
17 To no one return evil for evil. Seek after things honorable in the sight of all men.
(Bracia!) nie bądźcie mądrymi sami u siebie; żadnemu złem za złe nie oddawajcie, obmyśliwając to, co jest uczciwego przed wszystkimi ludźmi.
18 What relates to you is, live in peace with all men, if possible.
Jeźli można, ile z was jest, ze wszystkimi ludźmi pokój miejcie.
19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but give place to the wrath of God; for it is written, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord."
Nie mścijcie się sami, najmilsi: ale dajcie miejsce gniewowi; albowiem napisano: Mnie pomsta, a Ja oddam, mówi Pan.
20 Therefore, if your enemy hunger, give him food: if he thirst, give him drink: for by doing this, you will heap coals of fire on his head.
Jeźli tedy łaknie nieprzyjaciel twój, nakarm go; jeźli pragnie, napój go: bo to czyniąc, węgle rozpalone zgarniesz na głowę jego.
21 Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Nie daj się zwyciężyć złemu, ale złe dobrem zwyciężaj.
