Matthew 27
1 When it was morning, all the chief priests and the elders of the people have consulted against Jesus, how they might procure his death,
Երբ առաւօտ եղաւ, բոլոր քահանայապետները եւ ժողովրդի ծերերը խորհուրդ արեցին Յիսուսի դէմ՝ նրան սպանելու համար:
2 conducted him bound to Pontius Pilate, the procurator, to whom they delivered him up.
Նրան կապեցին, առան գնացին եւ յանձնեցին պոնտացի Պիղատոս կուսակալի ձեռքը:
3 Then Judas, who had betrayed him, finding that he was condemned, repented; and returning the thirty shekels to the chief priests and the elders,
Այն ժամանակ Յուդան, որ Յիսուսին մատնել էր, տեսնելով, որ Յիսուս դատապարտուեց, զղջաց, արծաթ դրամները վերադարձրեց քահանայապետներին եւ ժողովրդի ծերերին ու ասաց.
4 said, I have sinner, in that I have betrayed the innocent. They answered, What is that to us? See you to that.
«Մեղանչեցի, որովհետեւ արդար արիւն մատնեցի»: Իսկ նրանք ասացին. «Մեր հոգը չէ, դո՛ւ գիտես»:
5 After which, having thrown down the money in the temple, he went away, and strangled himself.
Եւ արծաթ դրամները նետեց տաճարի մէջ եւ հեռացաւ ու գնաց ինքն իրեն կախեց:
6 The chief priests taking the money, said, It is not lawful to put it into the sacred treasury, because it is the price of blood.
Իսկ քահանայապետները արծաթ դրամները վերցնելով՝ ասացին. «Օրինաւոր չէ դրանք ընդունել տաճարի գանձանակի մէջ, քանի որ արեան գին են»:
7 But, after deliberating, they bought with it the potter's field, to be a burying place for strangers,
Եւ խորհուրդ անելով՝ դրանով գնեցին բրուտի ագարակը՝ որպէս գերեզման օտարների համար:
8 for which reason that field is, to this day, called, The Field of Blood.
Այդ պատճառով այդ ագարակը կոչուել է Արեան ագարակ՝ մինչեւ այսօր:
9 Then was the word of Jeremiah the Prophet verified, "The thirty shekels, the price at which he was valued, I took, as the Lord appointed me, from the sons of Israel,
Այն ժամանակ կատարուեց, ինչ ասուել էր Երեմիա մարգարէի բերանով. «Եւ առան երեսուն կտոր արծաթը՝ վաճառուածի գինը, որ նշանակուել էր իսրայէլացիներից,
10 who gave them for the potter's field.
եւ այն տուեցին բրուտի ագարակի համար, ինչպէս Տէրը ինձ հրամայել էր»:
11 Now Jesus appeared before the procurator, who questioned him, saying, You are the King of the Jews? He answered, You say right.
Եւ Յիսուս կանգնեց կուսակալի առաջ. կուսակալը հարցրեց նրան ու ասաց. «Դո՞ւ ես հրեաների թագաւորը»: Եւ Յիսուս ասաց. «Դու ես ասում»:
12 But when he was arraigned by the chief priests and the elders, he made no reply.
Իսկ երբ նա ամբաստանւում էր քահանայապետների ու ծերերի կողմից, ոչինչ չպատասխանեց:
13 Then Pilate said to him, Do you not hear of how many crimes they accuse you?
Այն ժամանակ Պիղատոսը նրան ասաց. «Չե՞ս լսում, ինչքան դրանք քո դէմ են վկայում»:
14 But he answered not one word, which surprised the procurator exceedingly.
Եւ նրան չպատասխանեց եւ ոչ մի բան, այնպէս որ կուսակալը շատ զարմացաւ:
15 Now the procurator was accustomed to release, at the festival, any one of the prisoners whom the multitude demanded.
Սակայն կուսակալը սովորութիւն ունէր տօնի առիթով ժողովրդի համար արձակել մի բանտարկեալ, ում նրանք կամենային:
16 And they had then a famous prisoners named Barabbas.
Այն ժամանակ ունէին մի նշանաւոր բանտարկեալ, որի անունը Յեսու Բարաբբա էր:
17 Therefore. when they were assembled, Pilate said to them, Whom shall I release to you? Barabbas, or Jesus, who is called Messiah?
Երբ հաւաքուեցին, Պիղատոսը նրանց ասաց. «Այս երկուսից որի՞ն էք ուզում, որ ձեզ համար արձակեմ. Յեսու Բարաբբայի՞ն, թէ՞ Յիսուսին՝ Քրիստոս կոչուածին».
18 (For he perceived that through envy they had delivered him up;
քանի որ Պիղատոսը գիտէր, որ նախանձից մատնել էին նրան:
19 besides, while he was sitting on the tribunal, his wife sent him this message, Have nothing to do with this innocent person; for today, I have suffered much in a dream, on his account.)
Եւ մինչ նա ատեան էր նստում, իր կինը նրան լուր ուղարկեց ու ասաց. «Քո եւ այդ արդարի միջեւ ոչինչ չկայ, որովհետեւ այսօր երազումս նրա պատճառով գլխովս շատ բաներ անցան»:
20 But the chief priests and elders instigated the populace to demand Barabbas, and cause Jesus to be executed.
Իսկ քահանայապետներն ու ծերերը համոզեցին ժողովրդին, որ Բարաբբային ուզեն եւ Յիսուսին կորստեան մատնեն:
21 Therefore, when the procurator asked, which of the two he should release, they all answered, Barabbas.
Կուսակալը պատասխան տուեց ու ասաց նրանց. «Այս երկուսից որի՞ն էք ուզում, որ ձեզ համար արձակեմ»:
22 Pilate replied, What then shall I do with Jesus, whom they call Messiah? They all answered, Let him be crucified.
Եւ նրանք ասացին՝ Բարաբբային: Պիղատոսը նրանց ասաց. «Իսկ ի՞նչ անեմ Յիսուսին՝ Քրիստոս կոչուածին»:
23 The procurator said, Why? What evil has he done? But they cried the louder, saying, Let him be crucified.
Ամէնքը ասացին՝ թող խաչուի: Եւ նա ասաց. «Ի՞նչ չար բան արեց»: Եւ նրանք առաւել եւս աղաղակում էին ու ասում՝ թող խաչուի:
24 Pilate perceiving that he was so far from prevailing, that they grew more tumultuous, took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am guiltless of the blood of this innocent person. See you to it.
Եւ Պիղատոսը տեսնելով, թէ ոչինչ չի օգնում, այլ է՛լ աւելի խռովութիւն է լինում, ջուր վերցնելով՝ լուաց ձեռքերը ժողովրդի առաջ ու ասաց. «Այդ արդարի արիւնից ես անմասն եմ. դո՛ւք գիտէք»:
25 And all the people answering, said, His blood be upon us, and upon your children.
Ամբողջ ժողովուրդը պատասխանեց ու ասաց. «Դրա արիւնը՝ մեր վրայ եւ մեր որդիների վրայ»:
26 Then he released Barabbas to them, and having caused Jesus to be scourged, delivered him up to be crucified.
Այն ժամանակ Պիղատոսը նրանց համար արձակեց Բարաբբային եւ Յիսուսին գանակոծել տալով՝ տուեց նրանց ձեռքը, որ խաչուի:
27 After this, the procurator's soldiers took Jesus into the pretorium, where they gathered around him all the band.
Այն ժամանակ կուսակալի զինուորները Յիսուսին վերցրին տարան ապարանք եւ ամբողջ գունդը նրա գլխին հաւաքեցին:
28 And having stripped him, they robed him in a scarlet cloak,
Մերկացրին նրան եւ նրա վրայ կարմիր վերնազգեստ գցեցին:
29 and crowned him with a wreath of thorns, and put a rod in his right hand, and kneeling before him in mockery. cried, Hail, King of the Jews!
Եւ փշերից պսակ պատրաստելով՝ դրեցին նրա գլխին եւ մի եղէգ՝ նրա աջ ձեռքին. նրա առաջ ծնկի գալով՝ ծաղրում էին ու ասում. «Ողջո՜յն, հրեաների՛ թագաւոր»:
30 And spitting upon him, they took the rod and struck him with it on the head.
Եւ թքելով նրա վրայ՝ եղէգն առնում էին ու խփում նրա գլխին:
31 When they had mocked him, they disrobed him again, and having put his own raiment on him, led him away to crucify him.
Եւ երբ նրան ծաղրուծանակի ենթարկեցին, նրա վրայից հանեցին քղամիդը ու նրան հագցրին իր զգեստը. եւ տարան նրան խաչը հանելու:
32 As they went out of the city, they met one Simon, a Cyrenian, whom they constrained to carry the cross;
Եւ դուրս ելնելով՝ գտան կիւրենացի մի մարդ՝ Սիմոն անունով, ու նրան ստիպեցին, որ նա խաչը կրի:
33 and being arrived at a place called Golgotha, which signifies a Place of Skulls,
Եւ հասնելով Գողգոթա կոչուած տեղը, որ նշանակում է կառափնատեղի,
34 they gave him to drink, vinegar mixed with wormwood, which, having tasted, he would not drink.
Յիսուսին լեղի խառնած գինի տուեցին խմելու, եւ երբ համտեսեց, չկամեցաւ խմել:
35 After they had nailed him to the cross, they parted his garments by lot.
Եւ նրան խաչը հանելով՝ բաժանեցին նրա զգեստները՝ վիճակ գցելով, որպէսզի կատարուի այն խօսքը, որ ասուեց մարգարէի կողմից. «Իմ զգեստները բաժանեցին իրենց մէջ եւ իմ պատմուճանի վրայ վիճակ էին գցում»:
36 And having sat down there, they guarded him.
Ու նստած՝ նրան պահպանում էին:
37 And over his head they placed this inscription, denoting the cause of his death: THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
Եւ նրա գլխի վերեւը դրեցին նրա յանցապարտութեան գիրը, թէ՝ սա՛ է Յիսուսը՝ հրեաների թագաւորը:
38 Two robbers also were crucified with him, one at his right hand, and the other at his left.
Միեւնոյն ժամանակ նրա հետ խաչը հանեցին երկու աւազակներ՝ մէկը նրա աջից, եւ միւսը՝ ձախից:
39 Meanwhile the passengers reviled him, shaking their heads,
Եւ մօտով անցնողները հայհոյում էին նրան, շարժում էին գլուխներն ու ասում.
40 and saying, You who could demolish the temple, and rebuild it in three days; if you be God's Son, come down from the cross.
«Վա՛հ, դու որ քանդում էիր տաճարը եւ երեք օրից այն շինում, փրկի՛ր քեզ. եթէ Աստծու Որդի ես, իջի՛ր այդ խաչից»:
41 The chief priests also, with the scribes and elders, deriding him, said,
Նոյնպէս եւ քահանայապետները, օրէնսգէտներով ու ծերերով հանդերձ, ծաղրում էին նրան ու ասում.
42 He saved others: can he not save himself? If he be King of Israel, let him now descend from the cross, and we will believe him.
«Ուրիշներին փրկեց, ինքն իրեն չի կարողանում փրկել. եթէ Իսրայէլի թագաւոր է, հիմա թող այդ խաչից իջնի. եւ դրան կը հաւատանք:
43 He trusted in God. Let God deliver him now, if he regard him; for he called himself God's Son.
Եթէ դա յոյսը դրել էր Աստծու վրայ, թող նա այժմ դրան փրկի, եթէ ուզում է դրան. քանի որ ասաց, թէ՝ Աստծու Որդի եմ»:
44 The robbers too, his fellow-sufferers, upbraided him in the same manner.
Նրա հետ խաչուած աւազակներն էլ էին նոյն ձեւով նախատում նրան:
45 Now from the sixth hour to the ninth, the whole land was in darkness.
Եւ կէսօրին ամբողջ երկրի վրայ խաւար եղաւ մինչեւ ժամը երեքը:
46 About the ninth hour, Jesus cried aloud, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabacthani? that is, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Ժամը երեքի մօտ Յիսուս բարձր ձայնով գոչեց ու ասաց. «Էլի՜, Էլի՜, լա՞մա սաբաքթանի», այսինքն՝ Աստուա՜ծ իմ, Աստուա՜ծ իմ, ինչո՞ւ թողեցիր ինձ:
47 Some of the bystanders hearing this, said, He calls Elijah.
Այնտեղ կանգնածներից ոմանք, երբ լսեցին, ասացին. «Դա Եղիային է կանչում»:
48 Instantly one of them ran, brought a sponge, and soaked it in vinegar, and having fastened it to a stick, presented it to him to drink.
Եւ նրանցից մէկը իսկոյն վազեց, քացախով թաթախուած սպունգ վերցրեց եւ մի եղէգի վրայ անցկացնելով՝ տուեց նրան, որ խմի:
49 The rest said, Forbear, we shall see whether Elijah will come to save him.
Իսկ ուրիշներ ասում էին. «Թո՛ղ, տեսնենք, թէ Եղիան կը գա՞յ, որ դրան փրկի»:
50 Jesus having again cried with a loud voice, resigned his spirit.
Եւ Յիսուս դարձեալ բարձր ձայնով աղաղակեց եւ հոգին աւանդեց:
51 And, behold, the vail of the temple was rent in two from top to bottom, the earth trembled, and the rocks split.
Եւ ահա տաճարի վարագոյրը վերեւից մինչեւ ներքեւ երկուսի պատռուեց, եւ երկիրը շարժուեց, եւ ժայռեր ճեղքուեցին,
52 Graves also burst open; and after his resurrection, the bodies of several saints who slept were raised,
եւ գերեզմանները բացուեցին, եւ ննջեցեալ սրբերի բազում մարմիններ յարութիւն առան
53 came out of the graves, went into the holy city, and were seen by many.
ու նրա յարութիւնից յետոյ գերեզմաններից ելնելով մտան սուրբ քաղաքը եւ շատերին երեւացին:
54 Now the centurion, and they who, with him, guarded Jesus, observing the earthquake, and what passed, were exceedingly terrified, and said, This was certainly the son of a god.
Իսկ հարիւրապետը եւ նրանք, որ իր հետ Յիսուսին պահպանում էին, երբ տեսան երկրաշարժը եւ պատահածները, սաստիկ վախեցան ու ասացին. «Արդարեւ, Աստծու Որդի էր սա»:
55 Several women also were there, looking on at a distance, who had followed Jesus from Galilee, assisting him with their service.
Այնտեղ շատ կանայք կային, որոնք կանգնած հեռուից նայում էին եւ որոնք Գալիլիայից եկել էին Յիսուսի յետեւից՝ նրան ծառայելու համար.
56 Among them were Mary the Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's sons.
նրանց մէջ էին Մարիամ Մագդաղենացին, Յակոբի եւ Յովսէի մայր Մարիամը եւ Զեբեդէոսի որդիների մայրը:
57 In the evening a rich Arimathean named Joseph, who was himself a disciple of Jesus,
Երբ երեկոյ եղաւ, եկաւ Յովսէփ անունով արիմաթիացի մի մեծահարուստ մարդ, որ Յիսուսին աշակերտել էր:
58 went to Pilate and begged the body of Jesus. Pilate having given orders to deliver it to Joseph,
Սա Պիղատոսի մօտ գնալով՝ Յիսուսի մարմինը խնդրեց: Այն ժամանակ Պիղատոսը հրամայեց, որ մարմինը տրուի:
59 he took the body, wrapped it in clean linen,
Եւ Յովսէփը, մարմինն առնելով, պատեց մաքուր կտաւով
60 and deposited it in his own tomb, which he had newly caused to be hewn in the rock; and having rolled a great stone to the entrance, he went away.
եւ դրեց նոր գերեզմանի մէջ, որ փորել էր տուել ժայռի մէջ: Եւ մի մեծ քար, որպէս կափարիչ, գերեզմանի դռան առաջ գլորեց ու գնաց:
61 Now Mary the Magdalene, and the other Mary were there, sitting over against the sepulcher.
Այնտեղ էր Մարիամ Մագդաղենացին եւ միւս Մարիամը. նրանք նստած էին գերեզմանի դիմաց:
62 On the morrow, being the day of preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees repaired in a body to Pilate,
Եւ հետեւեալ օրը, որ ուրբաթի յաջորդ օրն է, քահանայապետներն ու փարիսեցիները հաւաքուեցին Պիղատոսի մօտ ու ասացին.
63 and said, My lord, we remember that this impostor, when alive, said, Within three days I shall be raised.
«Տէ՛ր, յիշեցինք, թէ այն մոլորեցնողը, քանի կենդանի էր, ասում էր, թէ՝ երեք օրից յարութիւն պիտի առնեմ:
64 Command, therefore, that the sepulcher be guarded till the third day, lest his disciples come and steal him, and say to the people, He is raised from the dead; for this last imposture would prove worse than the first.
Արդ, հրամայի՛ր, որ մինչեւ երեք օր գերեզմանի ապահովութեանը հոգ տարուի. գուցէ աշակերտները գիշերով գան եւ գողանան նրան ու ժողովրդին ասեն, թէ՝ մեռելներից յարութիւն առաւ. եւ վերջին մոլորութիւնը աւելի վատ լինի, քան առաջինը»:
65 Pilate answered, You have a guard; make the sepulcher as secure as you can.
Պիղատոսը նրանց ասաց. «Զինուորներ ունէք. գնացէ՛ք ապահովութեանը հոգ տարէք, ինչպէս որ գիտէք»:
66 Accordingly they went and secured it, sealing the stone, and posting guards.
Եւ նրանք գնացին գերեզմանի ապահովութեանը հոգ տանելու եւ վէմը կնքեցին՝ զինուորներ նշանակելով:
