< Matthew 25 >
1 Then may the kingdom of heaven be compared to ten virgins, who went out with their lamps to meet the bridegroom.
Lino bwami bwakujulu buyokozyanisigwa abasimbi balikkumi bakabweza malampi aabo alimwi bayinka kuyochinga simusa.
2 Of these, five were prudent and five foolish.
Balimusanu baabo bakali bafubafuba alimwi balimusanu bakali basongo.
3 The foolish took their lamps, but carried no oil with them.
Aawo basimbi bafubafuba nibakabweza malampi aabo, tebakabweza pe mafuta aabo.
4 But the prudent, besides their lamps, carried oil in their vessels.
Pesi basimbi basongo bakabweza mafuta aabo muzibikilo.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all became drowsy, and fell asleep.
Lino simusa wakanonoka, boonse bakaguna alimwi bakoona.
6 And at midnight a cry was raised, The bridegroom is coming, go out and meet him.
Pesi akati kabusiku kwakamvwigwa ikongolola, Ámulange, simusa! Amuzwe aanze alimwi mukamuchinge akumutambula.
7 Then all the virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.
Éelyo basimbi boonse bakabuka alimwi bayasya malampi aabo.
8 And the foolish said to the prudent, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are going out.
Bafubafuba bakaamba kuti kubasongo, 'mutwabile amwi mafuta aanu nkambo malampi esu azima.'
9 But the prudent answered, saying, Lest there be not enough for us and you, go rather to them who sell, and buy for yourselves.
'Pesi bo basongo bakasandula kuti, 'mbokunga takotukwanina swebo andinywe, amwinke kuli baabo basambala alimwi mukalyulile eenu nobeni.
10 While they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready, went in with him to the marriage, and the door was shut.
Áawo nubakachili kukuyowula, simusa wakasika, alimwi aabo bakalibambilide bakayinka aawe kupobwe, alimwi imulyango wakajalwa.
11 Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, Master, Master, open to us.
“Kumane boobu bamwi basimbi abalabo bakaboola alimwi baamba kuti, “Simalelo wesu, Simalelo wesu, tujulile.'
12 He answered, Indeed, I say to you, I know you not.
“Pesi wakabasandula alimwi wakati, 'Nchobeni ndamwambila, tandimuzi pe.
13 Watch, therefore, because you know neither the day nor the hour.
Nkinkaako amuchenjele, nkambo tamulizi izuba nikuba ichindi.
14 For the Son of Man is like one who intending to travel, called his servants, and committed to them his stock;
“Zyakozyania amwalumi wakali afwifwi akuya munyika iimbi. Wakayita balanda bakwe alimwi wabaabila buvubi bwakwe.
15 to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to each according to his respective ability, and immediately set out.
Umwi wakamupa matalenta alimusanu, mpawo umwi wakamupa aabili, alimwi umbi lubo wakamupa limwi talenta. Umwi awumwi wakatambula eecho chendelana ambuli mbakonzya, mpawo mwalumi ooyo wakeenda mulweendo lwakwe.
16 Then he who had received the five talents, went and traded with them, and gained five others.
Ooyo wakatambula matalenta alimusanu wakeenda wakubuka akwabelesya mpawo wakabbindawuka ambi alimusanu.
17 Likewise he who had received two, gained other two.
Mbuboobo, oyo wakatambwide aabili alakwe wakabbindawuka wajana aambi aabili.
18 Whereas he who had received but one, digged a hole in the ground and hid his master's money.
Pesi oyo mulanda wakalalimwi wakeenda, wakusya kkomba mulubuwa, alimwi wakasisa mamali asimalelaakwe.
19 After a long time, their master returned and reckoned with them.
Lino mumazuba simalelo wabalanda aaba boonse wakaboola wazolangalanga myeelwe yabuvubi antomwe ambabo balanda bakwe.
20 Then he who had received the five talents, came and presented five other talents, saying, Sir, you delivered to me five talents; here they are, and five other talents which I have gained.
Mulanda oyo wakatambwide matalenta alimusanu wakaboola alimwi weeta aambi alimusanu. Wakamba kuti, 'Simalelo wangu, Langa, ndakakubbindawuka aambi alimusanu.
21 His master answered, Well done, good and faithful servant, you have been faithful in a small matter, I will give you a more important trust. Partake you of your master's joy.
“Simalelaakwe wakati kulinguwe, 'wakachita kabotu, iwe nomulanda mubotu alimwi usyomeka! Walikusyomeka muzintu ziche. Ndiyokubika kuti ukeendelezye zintu zyiingi. Njila mubusekelezi bwasimalelaako.'
22 He, also, who had received the two talents, advancing said, Sir, you delivered to me two talents: here they are, and two other talents which I have gained.
“Ooyo mulanda wakatambwide matalenta aabili wakaboola waamba kuti, 'Simalelo wangu, wakandipa matallenta aabili. Langa, ndakabbindawuka aambi abili lubo.
23 His master answered, Well done, good and faithful servant, you have been faithful in a small matter, I will give you a more important trust. Partake you of your master's joy.
“Simalelo wakwe wakati kuli nguwe, 'wakachita kabotu, iwe numulanda mubotu alimwi usyomeka! Walikusyomeka muzintu ziche. Ndiyokubika kuti ukeendelezye zintu zyiingi. Njila mubusekelezi bwasimalelo wako.'
24 Then came he also who had received the talent, and said, Sir, I know that you are a severe man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered;
“Eelyo oyo mulanda wakatambwide talenta lyomwe wakasika alakwe wati, 'Simalelo wangu, ndilikwizi kuti ulimwalumi ukalala. Ulatebula mpotabyalide, alimwi ulatebula mpotakwe niwamwaya.
25 being therefore afraid, I hid your talent under ground; but now I restore you your own.
Ndakayoowa, lino ndakeenda mpawo ndakusiisa talenta munyika. Langa ndeeli lyako ndabozya.
26 His master answering, said to him, Malignant and slothful servant, did you know that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered?
“Pesi Simalelaakwe wakamusandula wati kulinguwe, Íwe nomulanda mubi alimwi mutolo, wakaziba kuti ndilatebula aawo mpondatabyalape alimwi ndilatebula aawo mponditamwayide pe.
27 Should you not then have given my money to the bankers, that, at my return, I might have received it with interest?
Nkiinkaako wakeelede kupa mamali kulibasikulondola, alimwi kukuyobola kwangu ndakati kunobweza aangu antoomwe ayaayo alikunozyalwa.
28 Take from him, therefore, the talent, and give it to him who has ten:
Nkiinkako amumubwezele talenta alimwi mulipe ooyo mulanda ulamatalenta alikkumi.
29 for to every one that has, more shall be given, and he shall abound; but from him that has not, even that which he has shall be taken.
Mpawo kuli umwi awumwi weeta zyiingi uyopegwa, alimwi uyooba azyiingi. Pesi kuliyooyo utayeti chintu, uyonyanzigwa nikuba eecho nchajisi.
30 And thrust out this unprofitable servant into darkness, where shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Mumubwale mumudima ooyo mulanda utakwe anchabede, omo mulikulila alimwi akuluma ntwino.'
31 Now when the Son of Man shall come in his glory, accompanied by all the angels, and shall be seated on his glorious throne;
“Eelyo Mwana a Muntu nayoboola mubulemu alimwi abaangelo bakwe boonse, uyokkala achuuno chakwe chabulemu.
32 then shall all the nations be assembled before him; and out of them he will separate the good from the bad, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
Kuyobunganisigwa misyobo yoonse, alimwi uyopambula bantu umwi akulumwi, mbuli mwembeli mbwapambula imbelele kuzwa kumpongo.
33 The sheep he will set at his right hand, and the goats at his left.
Uyobika mbelele kuchilisyo chakwe, pesi mpongo kuchimweensi chakwe.
34 Then will the King say to those at his right hand: Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Eelyo Mwami uyowamba kuli zeezyo zitanoli kuchilisyo kuti, 'Muze, inywe nimulongezezegwe a Taata, amujane bwami oobo mbumwakabambilidwe kuzwa kumatalikilo anyika.
35 for I was hungry, and you gave me food; I was thirsty, and you gave me drink; I was a stranger, and you lodged me; I was a stranger, and you lodged me;
Nkaambo ndakali enzala alimwi mwakandipa chakulya.' ndakali enyota alimwi mwakandipa chakunywa.' ndakali mwenzu alimwi mwakandinjizya mungánda.'
36 I was naked, and you clothed me; I was sick and you assisted me; I was in prison, and you visited me.
ndakali chintanda alimwi mwakandisamika.' ndakali kuchiswa alimwi mwakandisilika.' ndakali mujele alimwi mwakandiswaya.'
37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see thee hungry, and feed thee; or thirsty, and give thee drink?
Éelyo baluleme bayosandula alimwi kabati, 'Mwami, ndilili nitwakakubona koli enzala alimwi twakakusanina? Nikuba nyota alimwi twakakupa meenda?
38 When did we see thee a stranger, and lodged thee; or naked, and clothed thee?
Ndilili nitwakakubona koli mwenzu alimwi twakakutambula akukunjizya? Nikuba chintaanda alimwi twakakusamika?
39 When did we see thee sick, or in prison, and visited thee?
Alimwi ndilili nitwakakubona kochiswa nikuba muntolongo alimwi twasika kulinduwe?'
40 The King will reply to them, Indeed, I say to you, that inasmuch as you have done this to any the least of these my brethren, you have done it to me.
“Eelyo Mwami uyosandula alimwi uyoti kuli mbaabo, 'Nchobeni ndamwambila, nzimwakachitila kumunini wabakwesu, mwakazichitila ndime.'
41 Then he will say to those at his left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire, prepared for the devil and his messengers; (aiōnios )
Eelyo uyoti kuli baabo batanoli kuchimweensi chakwe, 'Muzwe kuli ndime, inywe nimutukidwe, munjile mumulilo utamani ooyo ubambilidwe Satani abaangelo bakwe, (aiōnios )
42 for I was hungry, but you gave me no food; thirsty, but you gave me no drink;
nkambo ndakali enzala, pesi temwakandipa pe chakulya; ndakali enyota, pesi temwakandipa pe meenda;
43 I was a stranger, but you did not lodge me; naked, but you did not clothe me; sick, and in prison, but you did not visit me.
ndakali mweenzu, pesi temwakandinjizizye pe mungánda; ndakali chintanda, pesi temwakandisamika pe; ndakali kuchiswa alimwi nikuba nindakali muntolongo, pesi takwepe nchimwakayeeya andime.'
44 Then they also will answer, saying, Lord, when did we see thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not assist thee?
“Mpawo abalabo bayosandula alimwi kabati, 'Mwami ndilili nitwakakubona koli enzala, nikuba nyota, nikuba koli mwenzu, nikuba chintanda, nikuba kochiswa, nikuba koli muntolongo, alimwi twakaleka kukubelekela?'
45 Then he will reply to them, saying, Indeed, I say to you, that inasmuch as you did it not to any the least of these, you did it not to me.
“Eelyo uyobasandula kuti, 'Nchobeni ndamwambila, nzimwakatachitila abo banini babaaba, temwakazichita pe kulindime.'
46 And these shall go into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life. (aiōnios )
Aaba bayonjila muchisubulo chitamani, pesi baluleme bayonjila mubuumi ibutamani.” (aiōnios )
