< Mark 3 >

1 At another time he entered the synagogue, when a man was there who had a withered hand.
Awo Yesu n’ayingira nate mu kkuŋŋaaniro, nga mulimu omusajja eyalina omukono ogukaze.
2 And they, with a design to accuse Jesus, watched him, to see whether he would heal the man on the Sabbath.
Baali balindirira okulaba obanga anaamuwonya ku Ssabbiiti balyoke bamuwawaabire.
3 Jesus said to the man, who had the withered hand, Stand up in the midst.
Yesu n’agamba omusajja eyalina omukono ogukaze nti, “Yimirira wakati.”
4 Then he said to them, Whether it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath, or to do evil--to save, or to kill? But they were silent.
N’abagamba nti, “Kikkirizibwa okukola ekirungi ku Ssabbiiti oba okukola ekibi? Okuwonya bulamu oba okubuzikiriza?” Naye ne batamuddamu.
5 And looking around on them with anger, being grieved for the blindness of their minds, he said to the man, Stretch out your hand: and as he stretched out his hand, it was restored.
Yesu n’abatunuulira ng’akambuwadde era nga munakuwavu nnyo olw’obukakanyavu bw’emitima gyabwe, n’agamba omusajja nti, “Golola omukono gwo.” N’agolola omukono gwe, ne guwona.
6 And the Pharisees went out immediately, and conspired with the Herodians against him to destroy him.
Amangwago Abafalisaayo ne bafuluma ne bateesa n’Abakerodiyaani nga bwe banaamuzikiriza.
7 But Jesus withdrew with his disciples toward the sea, whither a great multitude followed him from Galilee, from Judea,
Awo Yesu n’abayigirizwa be ne bagenda ku nnyanja. Ekibiina kinene ekyava mu Ggaliraaya ne mu Buyudaaya ne kimugoberera.
8 from Jerusalem, from Idumea, and from the banks of the Jordan. They also of the territories of Tyre and Sidon, having heard what wonders he had performed, flocked to him in crowds.
9 Then he ordered his disciples to get a boat to attend him, because of the multitude, lest they should throng him:
Yesu n’agamba abayigirizwa be eryato limubeere kumpi olw’ekibiina ekinene, ekibiina kireme kumunyigiriza.
10 for he had healed many, which made all, who had maladies, press upon him to touch him.
Kubanga yawonya bangi, bangi ne baagala okumugwira bamukwateko olw’endwadde zaabwe.
11 And the unclean spirits, when they beheld him, prostrated themselves before him, crying, Thou art the Son of God.
Awo emyoyo emibi bwe gyamulaba ne gigwa mu maaso ge nga gireekaana nga gigamba nti, “Ggwe Mwana wa Katonda.”
12 But he strictly charged them not to make him known.
Naye n’agikomako gireme okumwatuukiriza.
13 Afterward Jesus went up a mountain, and called to him whom he would, and they went to him.
Awo Yesu n’alinnya ku lusozi, n’ayita abo be yayagala, ne bajja gy’ali.
14 And he selected twelve, that they might attend him, and that he might commission them to make proclamation;
N’alonda kkumi na babiri mu abo, be yafuula abatume babeerenga naye, era abatumenga okubuulira.
15 empowering them to cure disease; and to expel demons.
N’abawa n’obuyinza okugobanga baddayimooni. Ekkumi n’ababiri be yalonda be bano:
16 These were Simon, whom he surnamed Peter,
Awo n’alonda ekkumi na babiri era be bano: Simooni, gwe yatuuma “Peetero” ne
17 and James, son of Zebedee, and John, the brother of James. These he surnamed Boanerges, that is, sons of thunder;
Yakobo ne Yokaana, batabani ba Zebbedaayo, Yesu be yatuuma “Bowanerege” amakulu nti, “Abaana b’Okubwatuka.”
18 and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James son of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite
Andereya, ne Firipo, ne Battolomaayo, ne Matayo, ne Tomasi, ne Yakobo, omwana wa Alufaayo ne Saddayo, ne Simooni, Omukananaayo,
19 and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
ne Yuda Isukalyoti eyamulyamu olukwe.
20 Then they went into a house, whither a crowd again assembled, so that Jesus and his disciples could not so such as eat.
Awo Yesu n’ayingira mu nnyumba ekibiina kinene ne bakuŋŋaanira nate w’ali, ye ne be yali nabo ne batasobola kulya.
21 His kinsmen hearing this, went out to restrain it, (for they said, He is beside himself.
Awo baganda be bwe baakiwulira ne bagenda bamuggyeyo, kubanga baalowooza nti alaluse.
22 And the scribes who came from Jerusalem, said, He is confederate with Beelzebub, and expels demons by the prince of demons.)
Naye abannyonnyozi b’amateeka abaava e Yerusaalemi ne bagamba nti, “Aliko Beeruzebuli omukulu wa baddayimooni, era obuyinza bwe bw’akozesa okugoba baddayimooni.”
23 Jesus having called them, said to them by similitudes, How can Satan expel Satan?
Awo Yesu n’abayita n’ayogera nabo mu ngero ng’agamba nti, “Setaani ayinza atya okugoba Setaani?
24 If a kingdom be torn by factions, that kingdom can not subsist.
Obwakabaka bwe bwawukana tebuyinza kubaawo.
25 And if a family be torn by factions, that family can not subsist.
N’ennyumba eyawukanye, teyinza kubeerawo.
26 Thus, if Satan fight against himself, and be divided, he can not subsist, but is near his end.
Ne Setaani bw’atyo bw’alwanagana yekka na yekka tayinza kubaawo. Wabula yeezikiriza yekka.
27 No one who enters the strong one's house, can plunder his goods, unless he first overpower the strong one; then, indeed, he may plunder his house.
Naye tewali ayinza kuyingira mu nnyumba ya muntu w’amaanyi, okunyaga ebintu bye nga tasoose kumusiba n’alyoka anyaga ebintu bye.
28 Indeed, I say to you, that though all other sins in the sons of men are pardonable, and whatever slanders they shall utter;
Ddala ddala mbagamba nti buli kintu kyonna omuntu ky’akola kirisonyiyibwa abaana b’abantu, ebibi n’okuvvoola kwonna kwe bavvoola.
29 whosoever shall speak slanderously against the Holy Spirit, shall never be pardoned, but be liable to eternal punishment. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
Naye buli alivvoola Mwoyo Mutukuvu talisonyiyibwa, emirembe n’emirembe naye alisingibwa omusango olw’ekibi eky’emirembe n’emirembe.” (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
30 He said this because they affirmed he was leagued with an unclean spirit.
Yayogera atyo gye bali kubanga baagamba nti, “Aliko omwoyo omubi.”
31 Meanwhile came his mother and brothers, who standing without, sent for him.
Awo baganda ba Yesu ne nnyina ne bajja gy’ali ebweru nga baagala okumulaba. Awo ne bamutumira bamuyite ajje ayogere nabo.
32 And the crowd who sat round him, said to him, Lo, your mother and brothers are without, and seek you.
Ekibiina ky’abantu kyali kimwetoolodde, ne bamugamba nti, “Nnyoko ne baganda bo ne bannyoko bali wabweru bakunoonya.”
33 He answered them, saying, Who is my mother or my brothers?
Naye n’abaddamu nti, “Mmange ye ani, ne baganda bange be baani?”
34 And looking about on those who sat around him, he said, Behold my mother and my brothers;
Awo bwe yeetoolooza amaaso abo abaali batudde nga bamwebunguludde, n’abagamba nti, “Bano be mulaba be bammange era be baganda bange!
35 for whosoever does the will of God, is my brother, my sister, and mother.
Kubanga buli muntu akola Katonda by’asiima ye muganda wange, ye mwannyinaze era ye mmange.”
