Mark 11
1 As they approached Jerusalem, being come as far as Bethphage, and Bethany, near the Mount of Olives; he sent two of his disciples,
Na rĩrĩ, maakuhĩrĩria itũũra rĩa Jerusalemu, maakinya matũũra ma Bethifage na Bethania hau Kĩrĩma-inĩ kĩa Mĩtamaiyũ-rĩ, Jesũ agĩtũma arutwo ake eerĩ,
2 and said to them, Go into the village opposite you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt tied, on which no man ever rode; loose him, and bring him.
akĩmeera atĩrĩ, “Thiĩi itũũra rĩĩrĩa rĩrĩ mbere yanyu, na mwatoonya o ũguo, nĩmũkuona njaũ ya ndigiri yohetwo hau, nayo ndĩrĩ yakuua mũndũ. Mĩohorei mũmĩrehe.
3 And if any person ask you, Wherefore do you this? say, The Master needs him, and he will instantly send him hither.
Na mũngĩũrio nĩ mũndũ atĩrĩ, ‘Mũreka ũguo nĩkĩ?’ Mwĩrei atĩrĩ, ‘Mwathani nĩabatarĩtio nĩyo na nĩekũmĩcookia haha o narua.’”
4 Accordingly they went, and finding a colt tied before a door, where two ways met, they loosed him.
Nao magĩthiĩ magĩkora njaũ ya ndigiri yohetwo mũromo-inĩ handũ nja, hakuhĩ na njĩra. Na rĩrĩa maamĩohoraga-rĩ,
5 Some of the people present said to them, Wherefore do you loose the colt?
andũ arĩa maarũngiĩ ho makĩmooria atĩrĩ, “Mũrohora njaũ ĩyo nĩkĩ?”
6 They having answered as Jesus had commanded them, were allowed to take him.
Nao makĩmacookeria o ũrĩa Jesũ aamerĩte, nao andũ acio makĩmetĩkĩria mathiĩ nayo.
7 Accordingly they brought the colt to Jesus, on which having laid their mantles, he sat on him.
Rĩrĩa maatwarĩire Jesũ njaũ ĩyo, makĩmĩtandĩka nguo ciao nake Jesũ agĩkuuo nĩyo.
8 And many spread their mantles in the way; others cut down sprays from the trees, and strowed them in the way.
Andũ aingĩ makĩara nguo ciao njĩra-inĩ, nao arĩa angĩ makĩara mathĩgĩ marĩa maatuĩte mĩgũnda-inĩ.
9 And they who went before, and they who followed shouted, saying, Hosanna! blessed be He that comes in the name of the Lord!
Andũ arĩa maatongoretie na arĩa maamumĩte thuutha makĩanĩrĩra makiuga atĩrĩ, “Hosana!” “Kũrathimwo-rĩ, nĩ ũrĩa ũgũũka na rĩĩtwa rĩa Mwathani!”
10 Happy be the approaching Reign of our Father David!
“Kũrathimwo-rĩ, nĩ ũthamaki ũrĩa ũgũũka, ũrĩa wa ithe witũ Daudi!” “Hosana igũrũ o igũrũ!”
11 In this manner Jesus entered Jerusalem and the temple; where, after surveying everything around, it being late, he departed with the twelve to Bethany.
Nake Jesũ aatoonya Jerusalemu, agĩthiĩ hekarũ-inĩ. Na aarĩkia kwĩrorangĩra maũndũ mothe, akiumagara agĩthiĩ Bethania hamwe na arutwo arĩa ikũmi na eerĩ, tondũ kwarĩ hwaĩ-inĩ.
12 The next day, when he left Bethany, he was hungry;
Mũthenya ũyũ ũngĩ rĩrĩa moimaga Bethania, Jesũ akĩigua ahũtiĩ.
13 and observing a fig tree at a distance, full of leaves, went to look for fruit on it, for the fig harvest was not yet. And being come, he found nothing but leaves.
Nake akĩona mũkũyũ warĩ haraaya ũrĩ na mathangũ maruru agĩthiĩ kũrora kana warĩ na ngũyũ. Aakinya harĩ guo, agĩkora ndwarĩ na ngũyũ tiga o mathangũ, tondũ ndĩarĩ hĩndĩ ya mĩkũyũ gũciara.
14 Then he said to it, Henceforth let no man ever eat fruit off you. And his disciples heard him. (aiōn g165)
Nake akĩĩra mũkũyũ ũcio atĩrĩ, “Mũndũ ndakanarĩe maciaro maku nginya tene.” Nao arutwo ake makĩigua akiuga ũguo. (aiōn g165)
15 Being returned to Jerusalem, he went into the temple, and drove out them who sold, and them who bought in the temple, and overturned the tables of the money changers, and the stalls of them who sold doves;
Na maakinya Jerusalemu, Jesũ agĩtoonya hekarũ thĩinĩ, akĩambĩrĩria kũrutũrũra arĩa maagũraga, na arĩa meendanagĩria kuo. Akĩngʼaũrania metha cia arĩa maakũũranagia mbeeca, o na itĩ cia arĩa meendagia ndutura,
16 and would suffer no person to carry vessels through the temple.
na ndangĩetĩkĩririe mũndũ o na ũrĩkũ ahĩtũkĩrie kĩndũ gĩa kwendia kũu nja cia hekarũ.
17 He also taught them, saying, Is it not written, "My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations?" but you have made it a den of robbers.
Na rĩrĩa aamarutaga, akĩmooria atĩrĩ, “Githĩ ũhoro ndwandĩkĩtwo atĩrĩ, “‘Nyũmba yakwa ĩgeetagwo nyũmba ya mahooya ya kũhooyagĩrwo nĩ ndũrĩrĩ ciothe’? No inyuĩ mũmĩtuĩte ‘ngurunga ya atunyani’.”
18 And the scribes and the chief priests hearing this, sought means to destroy him; for they dreaded him, because all the multitude admired his doctrine.
Nao athĩnjĩri-Ngai arĩa anene na arutani a watho maigua ũguo, makĩambĩrĩria gũcaria ũrĩa mangĩmũũraga, nĩ ũndũ nĩmamwĩtigagĩra, tondũ kĩrĩndĩ gĩothe nĩkĩagegetio nĩ ũrutani wake.
19 And in the evening he went out of the city.
Gwakinya hwaĩ-inĩ, Jesũ na arutwo ake makiuma itũũra rĩu.
20 Next morning as they returned, they saw that the fig tree was dried up from the root.
Rũciinĩ, makĩhĩtũka makĩona mũkũyũ ũrĩa Jesũ aarumĩĩte ũũmĩte wothe nginya mĩri.
21 Peter recollecting, said to him, Rabbi, behold the fig tree, which you devoted, already withered.
Petero akĩririkana ũhoro wa mũkũyũ ũcio, akĩĩra Jesũ atĩrĩ, “Rabii, ta rora! Mũkũyũ ũrĩa ũrarumire-rĩ, nĩũũmĩte!”
22 Jesus answered, Have faith in God.

23 For indeed, I say to you, Whoever shall say to this mountain, Be lifted, and thrown into the sea, and shall not in the least doubt, but shall believe that what he says shall happen; whatever he shall command, shall be done for him;
Ngũmwĩra atĩrĩ na ma, mũndũ angĩkeera kĩrĩma gĩkĩ atĩrĩ, ‘Thiĩ, wĩikie iria-inĩ,’ na ndagathanganie ngoro-inĩ yake, no etĩkie atĩ ũrĩa oiga nĩũgwĩkĩka-rĩ, nĩagekĩrwo ũndũ ũcio.
24 for which reason I assure you, that what things soever you pray for, if you believe that you shall obtain them, they shall be yours.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio ngũmwĩra atĩrĩ, ũrĩa wothe mũrĩhooyaga mũheo, ĩtĩkagiai atĩ nĩ mũrĩkĩtie kũwamũkĩra, naguo nĩũrĩtuĩkaga wanyu.
25 And when you pray, forgive, if you have matter of complaint against any; that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your trespasses.
Na rĩrĩa mwarũgama mũhooe, mũrekanagĩre angĩkorwo mũrĩ ũthũ na mũndũ, nĩgeetha Ithe wanyu ũrĩa ũrĩ igũrũ o nake amũrekagĩre mehia manyu.” (
26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father, who is in heaven, forgive your trespasses.
No mũngĩkorwo mũtirekanagĩra mehia, nake Ithe wanyu ũrĩa ũrĩ igũrũ ndarĩmũrekagĩra mehia manyu.)
27 Again, they arrived at Jerusalem; and as he was walking in the temple, the chief priests, scribes, and the elders, came,
Magĩkinya o rĩngĩ Jerusalemu, na rĩrĩa Jesũ aaceeraga kũu nja cia hekarũ, athĩnjĩri-Ngai arĩa anene, na arutani a watho, o na athuuri magĩũka kũrĩ we.
28 and said to him, By what authority do you these things? and who empowered you to do them?
Makĩmũũria atĩrĩ, “Wĩkaga maũndũ maya na ũhoti ũrĩkũ? Na nũũ wakũheire ũhoti wa gwĩka maũndũ maya?”
29 Jesus answering, said to them, I also have a question to ask; answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
Nake Jesũ akĩmacookeria atĩrĩ, “Nĩngũmũũria kĩũria kĩmwe. Mwanjookeria, na niĩ nĩngũmwĩra njĩkaga maũndũ maya na ũhoti ũrĩkũ.
30 Was the title which John had to immerse, from heaven, or from men? Answer me.
Ũbatithio wa Johana-rĩ, woimire igũrũ kana kũrĩ andũ? Njookeriai!”
31 Then they argued thus among themselves; If we say, From heaven; he will reply, Why, then, did you not believe him?
Makĩaranĩria o ene ũhoro ũcio, makĩĩrana atĩrĩ, “Tũngiuga atĩ, ‘Woimire igũrũ’, egũtũũria atĩrĩ, ‘Mwakĩregire kũmwĩtĩkia nĩkĩ?’
32 But if we say, From men; we are in danger from the people, who are all convinced that John was a prophet.
No tũngiuga atĩrĩ, ‘Woimire kũrĩ andũ’ ….” (Nĩmetigagĩra andũ, tondũ andũ othe mooĩ kũna atĩ Johana aarĩ mũnabii.)
33 They therefore answering, said to Jesus, We can not tell. Jesus replied, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio magĩcookeria Jesũ atĩrĩ, “Ithuĩ tũtiũĩ.” Nake Jesũ akĩmeera atĩrĩ, “O na niĩ ndikũmwĩra njĩkaga maũndũ maya na ũhoti ũrĩkũ.”
