John 8
1 but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
യേശുവോ, ഒലിവുമലയിലേക്കു യാത്രയായി. അതിരാവിലെ യേശു വീണ്ടും ദൈവാലയാങ്കണത്തിൽ എത്തി.
2 Early in the morning he returned to the temple, and all the people having come to him, he sat down and taught them.
ജനങ്ങൾ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റും വന്നുകൂടി. അവിടന്ന് അവരെ ഉപദേശിക്കാനായി ഇരുന്നു.
3 Then the Scribes and Pharisees brought to him a woman, taken in adultery; and having placed her in the middle,
വ്യഭിചാരത്തിൽ പിടിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെ വേദജ്ഞരും പരീശന്മാരും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. അവർ അവളെ ജനമധ്യത്തിൽ നിർത്തിയിട്ട്
4 said to him, Rabbi, this woman was surprised in the act of adultery.
യേശുവിനോട് ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു: “ഗുരോ, ഈ സ്ത്രീ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ പിടിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
5 Now Moses has commanded in the law, that such should be stoned; and what do you say?
ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള സ്ത്രീകളെ കല്ലെറിയണമെന്നു മോശ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങളോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അങ്ങ് എന്തുപറയുന്നു?”
6 They said this to try him, that they might have matter for accusing him. But Jesus, having stooped down, was writing with his finger, upon the ground.
അദ്ദേഹത്തെ കുറ്റം ചുമത്തേണ്ടതിന് എന്തെങ്കിലും തക്ക കാരണം കിട്ടുന്നതിന് അവർ പ്രയോഗിച്ച ഒരു കെണിയായിരുന്നു ഈ ചോദ്യം. എന്നാൽ യേശു കുനിഞ്ഞ് വിരൽകൊണ്ടു നിലത്ത് എഴുതിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
7 As they continued asking him, he raised himself, and said to them, Let him who is sinless, amongst you, throw the first stone at her.
ചോദ്യം തുടർന്നപ്പോൾ യേശു നിവർന്ന് അവരോട്, “നിങ്ങളിൽ പാപം ഇല്ലാത്തവൻ ഇവളെ ആദ്യം കല്ലെറിയട്ടെ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
8 Again, having stooped down, he wrote upon the ground.
അദ്ദേഹം വീണ്ടും കുനിഞ്ഞു മണ്ണിലെഴുതിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
9 They, hearing that, withdrew, one after another, the eldest first, till Jesus was left alone, with the woman standing in the middle.
അവർ അതു കേട്ടിട്ട്, കുറ്റബോധത്താൽ ഏറ്റവും മുതിർന്നവർമുതൽ ഇളയവർവരെ ഓരോരുത്തരായി സ്ഥലംവിട്ടുപോയി. ഒടുവിൽ യേശുവും ജനമധ്യത്തിൽനിന്നിരുന്ന സ്ത്രീയും ശേഷിച്ചു.
10 Jesus, raising himself, and seeing none but the woman, said to her, Woman, where are those, your accusers? Has no person passed sentence on you?
യേശു നിവർന്ന് അവളോട്, “സ്ത്രീയേ, അവർ എവിടെ? ആരും നിനക്കു ശിക്ഷ വിധിച്ചില്ലേ?” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
11 She answered, No person, Sir. Jesus said to her, Neither do I pass sentence on you. Go, and sin no more.
“ഇല്ല പ്രഭോ,” അവൾ മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു. അതിന് യേശു, “ഞാനും നിനക്കു ശിക്ഷ വിധിക്കുന്നില്ല; പോകുക, ഇനി പാപംചെയ്യരുത്.” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
12 Again Jesus addressed the people, saying, I am the light of the world. He who follows me, shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
യേശു വീണ്ടും ജനങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചു: “ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു ലോകത്തിന്റെ പ്രകാശം. എന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കുന്നവർ ഒരിക്കലും ഇരുളിൽ നടക്കുന്നില്ല; അവർ ജീവന്റെ പ്രകാശമുള്ളവരാകും.”
13 The Pharisees therefore retorted, You testify concerning yourself; your testimony is not to be regarded.
പരീശന്മാർ അദ്ദേഹത്തോട്, “താങ്കൾ താങ്കളെക്കുറിച്ചുതന്നെ സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു, അത് സത്യമല്ല” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
14 Jesus answered, Though I testify concerning myself, my testimony ought to be regarded; because I know whence I came, and whither I go. As for you, you know not whence I came, and whither I go.
മറുപടിയായി യേശു ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു: “ഞാൻ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചുതന്നെ സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നെങ്കിലും എന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യം സത്യമാണ്. കാരണം, ഞാൻ എവിടെനിന്നു വന്നു എന്നും എവിടേക്കു പോകുന്നു എന്നും എനിക്കറിയാം. എന്നാൽ, ഞാൻ എവിടെനിന്നു വരുന്നെന്നോ എവിടേക്കു പോകുന്നെന്നോ നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നില്ല.
15 You judge from passion; I judge no person:
നിങ്ങൾ മനുഷ്യന്റെ മാനദണ്ഡമനുസരിച്ച് വിധിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ ആരെയും വിധിക്കുന്നില്ല.
16 and if I do, my judgment ought to be regarded, for I am not alone, but concur with the Father, who sent me.
ഞാൻ വിധിക്കുന്നെങ്കിലോ, ഞാൻ ഏകനായല്ല, എന്നെ അയച്ച പിതാവിനോടുചേർന്ന് ആകയാൽ എന്റെ വിധി സത്യമാകുന്നു.
17 It is a maxim in your law, that the concurrent testimony of two is credible.
രണ്ടുപേരുടെ സാക്ഷ്യം സത്യമെന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ.
18 Now I am one who testify concerning myself; the Father that sent me is another that testifies of me.
ഞാൻ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചുതന്നെ സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു; എന്നെ അയച്ച പിതാവും എന്നെപ്പറ്റി സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു.”
19 Then they asked him, Where is your Father? Jesus answered, You know neither me nor my Father: if you knew me, you would know my Father also.
“താങ്കളുടെ പിതാവ് എവിടെ?” അവർ ചോദിച്ചു. യേശു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു. “നിങ്ങൾക്ക് എന്നെയോ എന്റെ പിതാവിനെയോ അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാ. നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ എന്റെ പിതാവിനെയും അറിയുമായിരുന്നു.”
20 These things he spoke in the treasury, as he taught in the temple, and no person seized him, his hour not being yet come.
ദൈവാലയാങ്കണത്തിലെ ഭണ്ഡാരസ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ച് ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോഴാണ് യേശു ഈ വാക്കുകൾ പറഞ്ഞത്. എങ്കിലും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സമയം വന്നിട്ടില്ലായിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് ആരും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ബന്ധിച്ചില്ല.
21 Again, Jesus said to them, I am going away; you will seek me, and shall die in your sins; whither I go, you can not come.
യേശു വീണ്ടും അവരോട് ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു: “ഞാൻ പോകുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കും. നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളിൽ നിങ്ങൾ മരിക്കും. ഞാൻ പോകുന്നേടത്തു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വന്നെത്താൻ സാധ്യവുമല്ല.”
22 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself, that he says, Whither I go, you can not come?
അതിന് യെഹൂദനേതാക്കന്മാർ ചോദിച്ചു, “ഇയാൾ ആത്മഹത്യചെയ്യുമോ? അതുകൊണ്ടായിരിക്കുമോ ‘ഞാൻ പോകുന്നേടത്തു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വരാൻ കഴിയുകയില്ല,’ എന്നിയാൾ പറയുന്നത്?”
23 He said to them, You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world;
യേശു ഇങ്ങനെ തുടർന്നു, “നിങ്ങൾ താഴെനിന്നുള്ളവരാണ്; ഞാൻ ഉയരത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ളവനും. നിങ്ങൾ ഇഹലോകത്തിനുള്ളവരാണ്, ഞാനോ ഐഹികനല്ല.
24 therefore I said, You shall die in your sins; for if you believe not that I am he, you shall die in your sins.
നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളിൽ നിങ്ങൾ മരിക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ; ഞാൻ ഉന്നതങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് വന്ന ‘ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു’ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ, നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളിൽ മരിക്കും.”
25 They, therefore, asked him, Who are you? Jesus answered, The same that I told you formerly.
“താങ്കൾ ആരാണ്?” അവർ ചോദിച്ചു. യേശു മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു: “ഞാൻ എന്നെപ്പറ്റി ആദ്യംമുതലേ പറഞ്ഞുപോരുന്നതുതന്നെ.
26 I have many things to say of you, and to reprove in you: but he who sent me is worthy of belief; and I do but publish to the world what I have learned from him.
എനിക്കു നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു പല കാര്യങ്ങൾ പറയാനും ന്യായംവിധിക്കാനുമുണ്ട്. എന്നെ അയച്ചവൻ സത്യവാൻ ആകുന്നു. അവിടന്ന് എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ച കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ ലോകത്തെ അറിയിക്കുന്നു.”
27 They did not perceive, that he meant the Father.
അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ പിതാവിനെക്കുറിച്ചാണു സംസാരിച്ചതെന്ന് അവർ ഗ്രഹിച്ചില്ല.
28 Jesus, therefore, said to them, When you shall have raised the Son of Man on high, then you shall know what I am; and that I do nothing of myself, and say nothing which the Father has not taught me.
അതുകൊണ്ട് യേശു പറഞ്ഞു: “നിങ്ങൾ മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെ ഉയർത്തിക്കഴിയുമ്പോൾ ‘ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു’ എന്നത് ആരെന്നും ഞാൻ സ്വയമായി ഒന്നും ചെയ്യാതെ എന്റെ പിതാവ് ഉപദേശിച്ചുതന്നതുമാത്രം സംസാരിക്കുന്നെന്നും നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.
29 And he who sent me is with me. The Father has not left me alone, because I always do what pleases him.
എന്നെ അയച്ചവൻ എന്റെ കൂടെയുണ്ട്. അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ ഏകനായി വിട്ടിട്ടില്ല; ഞാൻ എപ്പോഴും അവിടത്തേക്ക് പ്രസാദമുള്ളതു പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു.”
30 While he spoke thus, many believed on him.
യേശു ഈ സംസാരിച്ചതു കേട്ടപ്പോൾ പലരും അദ്ദേഹത്തിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു.
31 Jesus, therefore, said to those Jews who believed on him, If you persevere in my doctrine, you are my disciples indeed.
തന്നിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ച യെഹൂദരോട് യേശു പറഞ്ഞു: “എന്റെ വചനത്തിൽ നിലനിന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ വാസ്തവത്തിൽ എന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരായിരിക്കും.
32 And you shall know the truth: and the truth shall make you free.
അപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ സത്യം അറിയുകയും സത്യം നിങ്ങളെ സ്വതന്ത്രരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.”
33 Some made answer, We are Abraham's offspring, and were never enslaved to any man. How do you say, You shall be made free?
അവർ അദ്ദേഹത്തോടു പറഞ്ഞു: “ഞങ്ങൾ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതികളാണ്, ഞങ്ങൾ ഒരിക്കലും ആരുടെയും അടിമകളായിരുന്നിട്ടില്ല. പിന്നെ, ഞങ്ങളെ സ്വതന്ത്രരാക്കുമെന്നു താങ്കൾ പറയുന്നതെങ്ങനെ?”
34 Jesus replied, Most assuredly, I say to you, whosoever commits sin is a slave of sin.
അതിനു മറുപടിയായി യേശു ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു: “ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോട് സത്യം സത്യമായി പറയട്ടെ: പാപംചെയ്യുന്നവരെല്ലാം പാപത്തിന്റെ അടിമകളാണ്.
ഒരു അടിമയ്ക്ക് വീട്ടിൽ സുസ്ഥിരമായ സ്ഥാനമില്ല; പുത്രനോ എപ്പോഴും നിവസിക്കുന്നു. (aiōn g165)
36 If, therefore, the Son make you free, you will be free indeed.
അതുകൊണ്ട് പുത്രൻ സ്വതന്ത്രരാക്കിയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ യഥാർഥത്തിൽ സ്വതന്ത്രരാകും.
37 I know that you are Abraham's offspring, yet you seek to kill me, because my doctrine has no place in you.
നിങ്ങൾ അബ്രാഹാംവംശജരെന്ന് എനിക്കറിയാം. എന്നിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കൊല്ലാൻ ഭാവിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ വചനത്തിനു നിങ്ങളിൽ സ്ഥാനമില്ലല്ലോ.
38 I speak what I have seen with my Father: and you do what you have learned from your father.
പിതാവിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങളാണ് നിങ്ങളോടു പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നത്; നിങ്ങളോ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിൽനിന്നു കേട്ടിട്ടുള്ളതു ചെയ്യുന്നു.”
39 They answered, Abraham is our Father. Jesus replied, If you were Abraham's children, you would act as Abraham acted.
“അബ്രാഹാമാണ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവ്,” അവർ പറഞ്ഞു. യേശു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞത്: “നിങ്ങൾ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ മക്കളായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ, അബ്രാഹാം ചെയ്ത കാര്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു.
40 But now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth, which I received from God. Abraham acted not thus.
എന്നാൽ, ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്ന് കേട്ട സത്യം നിങ്ങളെ അറിയിച്ച മനുഷ്യനായ എന്നെ വധിക്കാൻ നിങ്ങൾ ഭാവിക്കുന്നു. അബ്രാഹാം അത്തരം കാര്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തില്ലല്ലോ!
41 You do the deeds of your father. They answered, We were not born of fornication, We have one Father, even God.
നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾതന്നെ നിങ്ങളും ചെയ്യുന്നു.” “ഞങ്ങൾ ജാരസന്തതികളല്ല,” അവർ പ്രതിഷേധിച്ചു. “ഞങ്ങൾക്കൊരു പിതാവേയുള്ളൂ; ദൈവംതന്നെ.”
42 Jesus replied, If God were your Father, you would love me; for I proceeded, and am come from God. I came not of myself. He sent me.
യേശു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞത്: “ദൈവം നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുമായിരുന്നു, ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽനിന്ന് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. ഞാൻ സ്വയമേവ വന്നതല്ല; അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ അയച്ചതാണ്.
43 Why do you not understand my language? It is because you can not bear my doctrine.
എന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ നിങ്ങൾ മനസ്സിലാക്കാത്തത് എന്തുകൊണ്ടാണ്? ഞാൻ പറയുന്നതു ഗ്രഹിക്കാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കഴിവില്ലാത്തതുകൊണ്ടാണ്.
44 The devil is your father, and the desires of your father you will gratify: he was a manslayer from the beginning; he swerved from the truth, because there was no veracity in him. When he tells a lie, he speaks suitably to his character; for he is a liar, and the father of lying.
നിങ്ങൾ പിശാചെന്ന പിതാവിന്റെ മക്കളാണ്. അവന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം നിറവേറ്റാനാണ് നിങ്ങൾ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നത്. അവൻ ആരംഭംമുതലേ കൊലപാതകിയായിരുന്നു. അവനിൽ സത്യം ഇല്ലാത്തതുകൊണ്ട് അവൻ സത്യത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗത്തു നിൽക്കുന്നില്ല. വ്യാജം പറയുമ്പോൾ അവൻ സ്വന്തം ഭാഷ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു. അവൻ വ്യാജം പറയുന്നവനും അതിന്റെ അപ്പനും ആകുന്നു.
45 As for me, because I speak the truth, you do not believe me.
ഞാൻ സത്യം പറയുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ല.
46 Who of you convicts me of falsehood? And if I speak truth, why do you not believe me?
എന്നിൽ പാപമുണ്ടെന്നു തെളിയിക്കാൻ നിങ്ങളിൽ ആർക്കെങ്കിലും കഴിയുമോ? ഞാൻ സത്യമാണു പറയുന്നതെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തത് എന്ത്?
47 He who is of God, regards God's words. You regard them not, because you are not of God.
ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ളവർ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ളവർ അല്ലാത്തതുകൊണ്ടാണ് അവിടത്തെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കാത്തത്.”
48 The Jews then answered, Have we not reason to say, You are a Samaritan, and have a demon?
യെഹൂദനേതാക്കന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു: “താങ്കൾ ഒരു ശമര്യാക്കാരനെന്നും ഭൂതം ബാധിച്ചവനെന്നും ഞങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നതു ശരിയല്ലേ?”
49 Jesus replied, I have not a demon: but I honor my Father, and you dishonor me.
യേശു പറഞ്ഞു: “എന്നെ ഭൂതം ബാധിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ഞാൻ എന്റെ പിതാവിനെ ബഹുമാനിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങളാകട്ടെ, എന്നെ അപമാനിക്കുന്നു.
50 As for me, I seek not to promote my own glory; another seeks it, who judges.
ഞാൻ സ്വന്തം ബഹുമാനം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ല; എന്നാൽ അത് അന്വേഷിക്കുന്ന ഒരാളുണ്ട്; വിധികർത്താവായ എന്റെ പിതാവുതന്നെ.
സത്യം സത്യമായി ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയട്ടെ: എന്റെ വചനം പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവർ ഒരുനാളും മരണം കാണുകയില്ല.” (aiōn g165)
52 The Jews then said to him, Now we are certain that you have a demon: Abraham is dead, and the prophets; yet you say, Whoever keeps my word, shall never taste death. (aiōn g165)
ഇതു കേട്ട് യെഹൂദർ പറഞ്ഞു: “താങ്കൾ ഭൂതബാധിതനെന്ന് ഇപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു മനസ്സിലായി. അബ്രാഹാം മരിച്ചു, പ്രവാചകന്മാരും മരിച്ചു. എന്നിട്ടും താങ്കളുടെ വചനം പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവർ ഒരുനാളും മരിക്കുകയില്ലെന്ന് താങ്കൾ പറയുന്നു! (aiōn g165)
53 Are you greater than our Father Abraham, who is dead. The prophets also are dead: whom do you make yourself?
ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവായ അബ്രാഹാമിനെക്കാൾ താങ്കൾ വലിയവനോ? അദ്ദേഹം മരിച്ചു, പ്രവാചകന്മാരും മരിച്ചു. താങ്കൾ ആരെന്നാണ് താങ്കളുടെ വിചാരം?”
54 Jesus answered, If I commend myself, my commendation is nothing: it is my Father, whom you call your God, who commends me.
അതിന് യേശു ഇങ്ങനെ മറുപടി നൽകി: “ഞാൻ എന്നെത്തന്നെ മഹത്ത്വപ്പെടുത്തിയാൽ ആ മഹത്ത്വം നിരർഥകമാണ്. നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമെന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അവകാശപ്പെടുന്ന എന്റെ പിതാവാണ് എന്നെ മഹത്ത്വപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത്.
55 Nevertheless, you know him not; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I should speak falsely like you: but I know him, and keep his word.
നിങ്ങൾ അവിടത്തെ അറിയുന്നില്ലെങ്കിലും ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു. ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ ഞാനും നിങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ അസത്യവാദിയാകും; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ അവിടത്തെ അറിയുകയും അവിടത്തെ വചനം പ്രമാണിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
56 Abraham, your father, rejoiced that he should see my day; and he did see it, and was glad.
നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവായ അബ്രാഹാം എന്റെ ദിവസം കാണും എന്നോർത്ത് ആനന്ദിച്ചു; അദ്ദേഹം അതുകണ്ട് ആനന്ദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.”
57 The Jews replied, You are not yet fifty years old, and you have seen Abraham?

58 Jesus answered, Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.
യേശു പറഞ്ഞു: “ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോട് സത്യം സത്യമായി പറയട്ടെ: അബ്രാഹാം ജനിക്കുന്നതിനുമുമ്പേ, ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു.”
59 Then they took up stones to cast at him; but Jesus concealed himself, and went out of the temple.
ഇതു കേട്ടപ്പോൾ അവർ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ എറിയാൻ കല്ലെടുത്തു. എന്നാൽ യേശു ദൈവാലയംവിട്ടു മാറിപ്പോയി.
