John 17
1 When Jesus had ended this discourse, he said, lifting up his eyes to heaven, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee;

2 as thou hast given him authority over all men, that he may bestow eternal life, on all those whom thou hast given him. (aiōnios g166)

3 Now this is the life eternal, to know thee the only true God, and Jesus, the Messiah, thy Apostle. (aiōnios g166)
Na gumi gwa pitipiti ni aguno, kummanya mmwe nni jikape a Nnungu bha kweli, na kwaamanya a Yeshu Kilishitu bhumwaatumile. (aiōnios g166)
4 I have glorified thee upon the earth; I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
Nne njikunkuya mmwe pa shilambolyo pano, maliye liengo limwaambele ndende lila.
5 And now, Father, glorify thou me in thy own presence, with that glory which I enjoyed with thee, before the world was.
Atati, nnaino nnguye, kwa ukonjelo gunaakwete punaliji na mmwe shilambolyo shikanabhe panganywa gula.
6 I have made known thy name to the men whom those hast given me of the world. They were thine; and thou hast given them to me; and they have kept thy word.
“Njikulitenda lina lyenu limanyishe ku bhandu bha pa shilambolyo bhummbele bhala. Pubhalinginji bhenu, gummbele nne bhabhanganje bhangu, numbe bhakundilenje lilobhe lyenu.
7 Whatsoever thou hast given me, they now know to have come from thee;
Nnaino bhamumanyinji kuti yowe immbele, kuikopweshe kunngwenu mmwe.
8 and that thou hast imparted to me the doctrine, which I have imparted to them. They have received it, knowing for certain, that I came forth from thee, and am commissioned by thee.
Nne naapelenje lilobhe limwaammbele lila, nabhalabhonji bhaliposhelenje, bhamumanyinji kuti kweli kungoposhele kunngwenu mmwe, na bhakulupalilenje kuti mmwe ninndumile.”
9 It is for them that I pray. I pray not for the world, but for those whom thou hast given me; because they are thine.
“Nne ngunakwaajujilanga bhenebho, ngakushijujila shilambolyo, ikabhe ngunakwaajujilanga bhummbele bhala, pabha bhenu.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine mine, and I am glorified in them.
Yowe ingwete ni yenu mmwe, na yenu ni yangu na ukonjelo gwangu ubhoneshe ku bhene bhumbele bhala.
11 I continue no longer in the world; but these continue in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, preserve them in thy name, whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
Na nnaino wala ngalonjeya pashilambolyo, ngunakwiya kunngwenu, ikabheje bhanganyabha launo pubhapalinji pashilambolyo. Atati bha ukonjelo! Kwa mashili ga lina lyenu limmbele, shonde mwaapanganje ulinda nkupinga bhabhanganje shindu shimo, malinga shituli uwe.
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name; those whom thou hast given me, I have preserved. None of them in lost, except the son of perdition, as the scripture foretold.
Punaliji pamo na bhanganyabho, nne nashinkwaapanganga ulinda kwa mashili ga lina lyenu limmbele. Nne naabhishilenje muulinda, wala jwakwa nkali jumo jwabhonji apinga kuobha, ikabhe amanyishe kuti mwana jwa obha jula, nkupinga Majandiko ga Ukonjelo gamalile.”
13 But now that I am coming to thee, I speak these things in the world, that their joy in me may be complete.
“Bhai, nnaino ngunakwiya kunngwenu, gene malobhega njibheleketa nili pa shilambolyope pano, nkupinga bhainonyelanje mmitima jabhonji kwa ligongo lyangu.
14 I have delivered thy word to them, and the world hates them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Nne naapelenje lilobhe lyenu na shilambolyo gushaashimilenje, pabha bhanganyabho nngabha bha pa shilambolyo, malinga shini nne nngabha jwa pa shilambolyo.
15 I do not pray thee to remove them out of the world, but to preserve them from evil.
Ngaajuga kuti mwaashoyanje pa shilambolyo, ikabhe ngunaajuga mwaembuyanje na jwangali jwa mmbone jula.
16 Of the world they are not, as I am not of the world.
Bhanganyabho nngabha bha pa shilambolyo, malinga shini nne nngabha jwa pa shilambolyo.
17 Consecrate them by the truth; thy word is the truth.
Mwaatakayanje kwa kweli jila, lilobhe lyenu ni kweli.
18 As thou hast made me thy Apostle to the world, I have made them my Apostles to the world.
Malinga shinndumile nne ku shilambolyo na nne nnepeyo njikwaatumanga ku shilambolyo,
19 And I consecrate myself for them, that they may be consecrated through the truth.
na kwa ligongo lya bhanganyabho ngunakwiishoya namwene nkupinga na bhalabhonji bhaishoyanje na kweli jila.
20 Nor do I pray for these alone, but for those also who shall believe on me through their teaching;
“Bhungwaajujilanga nngabha bhanganya pebho, ikabhe bhowe shibhakulupalilanje kwa ligongo lya lilobhe lyabhonji.
21 that all may be one; that as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me;
Ngunaajuga nkupinga bhowe bhabhanganje shindu shimo. Atati! Ngunaajuga bhabhanganje nkati jetu, malinga mmwe Atati shinni nkati jangu, na nne nkati jenu. Ngunaajuga bhabhanganje shindu shimo nkupinga shilambolyo shikulupalile kuti mmwe ni nndumile.
22 and that thou gavest me the glory, which I have given them; that they may be one, as we are one;
Nne naapelenje ukonjelo malinga gumwaambele gula, nkupinga bhabhanganje shindu shimo malinga shituli uwe.
23 I in them, and thou in me, that their union may be perfected; that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and that thou lovest them, as thou lovest me.
Nne ndame nkati jabhonji, na mmwe nkati jangu nne, nkupinga bhamalilanje kubha shindu shimope, nkupinga shilambolyo shimanye kuti mmwe ni nndumile, mmwe nnakwaapinganga bhanganyabho malinga shinkumbinga nne.”
24 Father, I would that where I shall be, those whom thou hast given me may be with me; that they may behold my glory, which thou gavest me, because thou lovedst me before the formation of the world.
“Atati! Shingupinga bhummbele bhala bhabhanganje pamo na nne popowe pushindame, nkupinga bhagubhonanje Ukonjelo gwangu gummbele, pabha nshinkumbinga shilambolyo shikanabhe panganywa.
25 Righteous Father, though the world knows not thee, I know thee; and these know that I have thy commission.
Atati mmambone! Shilambolyo shikakummanya, ikabhe nne nimmanyi, bhanganyabha bhamumanyinji kuti mmwe ni nndumile.
26 And to them I have communicated, and will communicate thy name: that I being in them, they may share in the love with which thou lovest me.
Njitenda lina lyenu limanyishe ku bhanganyabho, na shimbunde kutenda nneyo, nkupinga kumbinga kwenu, kubhe mmitima jabhonji, na nne namwene mme mmunda jabhonji.”
