< Hebrews 4 >

1 Wherefore, let us be afraid, lest a promise of entrance into the rest, being left, any of you should seem to fall short of it.
Saboda haka, sai muyi lura kwarai don kada wani ya kasa kai ga shiga hutun da aka alkawarta maku na Allah.
2 For glad tidings have been proclaimed to us, as well as to them: but the word which they heard did not profit them; not being mixed with faith in them who heard it.
Don mun ji albishir game da hutun Allah kamar yadda aka fada masu. Amma wancan sakon bai anfana ga wadanda suka ji ba tare da sun bada gaskiya ga sakon ba.
3 For we, who have believed, do enter into the rest, as he said, "So, I swore, in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest"; namely, from the works that were finished at the formation of the world.
4 For he has spoken somewhere concerning the seventh day, thus: "And God rested on the seventh day, from all his works."
Domin yayi fadi a wani wuri game da rana ta bakwai, “Allah ya huta a rana ta bakwai daga dukkan ayyukansa.”
5 And in this, again, "They shall not enter into my rest."
6 Since, then, it remains for some to enter into it, and that they who first received the good tidings, did not enter in on account of unbelief:
Saboda haka, tun da hutun Allah na kebe domin masu su shiga, kuma tun da Isra'ilawa da yawa wadanda suka ji sakon nan mai kyau game da hutunsa ba su shiga ba saboda rashin biyayya,
7 again, he limits a certain day, saying, by David, "To-day," after so long a time; as it is said, "To-day, if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts."
8 For, if Joshua has caused them to rest, he would not, after that, have spoken of another day.
Don idan Joshua ya ba su hutu, da Allah ba zai sake magana a kan wata rana ba.
9 There remains, therefore, a divine rest for the people of God.
Saboda haka, akwai hutun asabar kebabbe ga mutanen Allah.
10 For he who has entered into his rest, has himself, also, rested from his own works, like as God, also, rested from his.
11 Wherefore let us carefully strive to enter into THIS REST, lest any one should fall after the same example of unbelief.
Saboda haka muyi marmarin shiga wancan hutun, don kada kowa ya fadi ga irin rashin biyayyar da suka yi.
12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and purposes of the heart.
Maganar Allah kuwa rayayyiyace, kuma mai ci, fiye da takobi mai kaifi-biyu. Takan ratsa har tsakanin rai da ruhu, kuma tana kaiwa bargo. Takan iya bincika tunanin zuciya da manufarta.
13 And there is no creature concealed from his sight, for all things are naked and open to the eyes of him, to whom we must give an account.
Babu halittaccen abu da ke boye a idon Allah. Sai dai, kome a sarari yake, kuma a bayyane yake a idonsa wanda lallai ne zamu bada lissafin kanmu a gare shi.
14 Now, having a great High Priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
15 For we have not a High Priest who can not sympathize with our weaknesses; but one who was tried in all points, according to the likeness of his nature to our ours, without sin.
Domin babban firist namu ba marar tausayi ga kasawarmu bane, amma wanda aka jarraba ne ta ko wanne hali irin yadda aka yi mana, sai dai ba'a same shi da zunubi ba.
16 Let us, therefore, approach, with boldness, to the throne of favor, that we may receive mercy, and obtain favor for the purpose of seasonable help.
Sai mu zo wurin kursiyin alheri gabagadi, domin a yi mana jinkai mu kuwa sami alherin da zai taimake mu a lokacin bukata.
