Hebrews 12
1 Since, then, we have so great a cloud of witnesses placed before us, laying aside every incumbrance, and the sin which easily entangles us, let us run, with perseverance, the race set before us;
Tial ankaŭ ni, havante ĉirkaŭ ni tian nubegon da atestantoj, formetu ĉion pezan kaj la pekon embarasantan, kaj persiste kuru la kuradon antaŭ ni metitan,
2 looking to Jesus, the leader and perfecter of the faith; who, for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
direktante la rigardon al la aŭtoro kaj perfektiganto de la fido, Jesuo, kiu, pro la ĝojo antaŭ li metita, suferis la krucon, malestimante honton, kaj sidiĝis dekstre de la trono de Dio.
3 Consider him who, from sinners, endured such opposition against himself, lest, becoming discouraged in your minds, you grow weary;
Ĉar pripensu tiun, kiu suferis tian kontraŭdiradon de pekuloj kontraŭ li, por ke vi ne laciĝu kaj ne malfortiĝu en viaj spiritoj.
4 you have not yet resisted to blood, struggling against this sin.
Vi ankoraŭ ne kontraŭstaris ĝis sango, batalante kontraŭ peko;
5 Besides, have you forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children, "My son, do not think lightly of the Lord's chastisement, neither faint when you are rebuked by him:
kaj vi forgesis la admonon, kiu rezonas kun vi, kiel kun filoj: Mia filo, ne malŝatu la punon de la Eternulo, Nek svenu, riproĉate de Li;
6 for whom the Lord loves he chastises, and scourges every son whom he receives."
Ĉar kiun la Eternulo amas, tiun Li punkorektas, Kaj Li skurĝas ĉiun filon, kiun Li akceptas.
7 If you endure chastisement, God deals with you as his children. For what son is there whom his father does not chastise?
Se vi suferas punon, kiel al filoj Dio rilatiĝas al vi; ĉar kia filo estas, kiun la patro ne punas?
8 But if you be without chastisement, of which all sons are partakers, certainly you are bastards, and not sons.
Sed se vi estas sen puno, en kiu ĉiuj fariĝas partoprenantoj, tiuokaze vi estas bastardoj, kaj ne filoj.
9 Farther, we have had fathers of our flesh, who chastised us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of our spirits, and live?
Cetere ni havis patrojn de nia karno, kiuj nin punis, kaj ni respektis ilin; ĉu ni ne multe pli submetiĝu al la Patro de la spiritoj, kaj vivu?
10 For they, indeed, during a very few days, chastised us according to their pleasure; but he, for our advantage, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
Ĉar ili ja dum kelke da tagoj laŭ sia volo punis; sed Li, por utilo, por ke ni partoprenu en Lia sankteco.
11 Now, no chastisement, indeed, for the present, seems to be matter of joy, but of sorrow. Nevertheless, afterward it returns the peaceful fruit of righteousness to them who are trained by it.
Ĉiu puno portempe ŝajnas esti ne ĝoja, sed malĝoja; sed poste ĝi donas la pacplenan frukton de justeco al tiuj, kiuj per ĝi estas ekzercitaj.
12 Wherefore, bring to their right position, the arms that hang down, and the weakened knees.
Tial levu la manojn pendantajn kaj la senfortajn genuojn;
13 And make smooth paths for your feet, that that which is lame, may not be put out of joint, but that it may rather be healed.
kaj faru rektajn vojetojn por viaj piedoj, por ke tio, kio estas lama, ne deturniĝu, sed prefere resaniĝu.
14 Pursue peace with all men, and holiness, without which, no one shall see the Lord:
Serĉu pacon kun ĉiuj, kaj la sanktigon, sen kiu neniu vidos la Sinjoron;
15 carefully observing, lest any one come short of the favor of God; lest some bitter root springing up, trouble you, and by it many be polluted;
rigardante zorge, por ke neniu maltrafu la gracon de Dio, por ke nenia radiko de maldolĉeco, altkreskante, vin ĝenu, kaj por ke per tio multaj ne malpuriĝu;
16 lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau; who, for one meal, gave away his birthrights.
por ke ne estu iu malĉastulo aŭ malpiulo, kiel Esav, kiu por unu manĝo vendis sian unuenaskitecon.
17 And you know, that although afterward he wished to inherit the blessing, he was reprobated: for he found no scope for effecting a change, though he earnestly sought it with tears.
Ĉar vi scias, ke eĉ kiam li poste deziris heredi la benon, li estis rifuzita; ĉar por pentado li trovis nenian lokon, kvankam kun larmoj li ĝin serĉis.
18 Now you are not come to a tangible mountain, which burned with fire; and to blackness, and to darkness, and to tempest,
Ĉar vi ne alvenis al monto tuŝebla kaj brulanta per fajro, kaj al nigreco kaj mallumo kaj ventego,
19 and to the sound of a trumpet, and to the voice of words, the hearers of which earnestly entreated that a word more might not be addressed to them:
kaj sono de trumpeto kaj voĉo de paroloj, kies aŭdantoj petegis, ke plua vorto ne estu parolata al ili,
20 for they could not bear this threat, "Even if a beast touch the mountain, it shall shall be stoned."
ĉar ili ne povis elporti la ordonon: Se eĉ bruto tuŝos la monton, ĝi estu ŝtonmortigita;
21 And so terrible was the appearance, that Moses said, "I exceedingly fear and tremble."
kaj tiel terura estis la aperaĵo, ke Moseo diris: Mi timegas kaj tremas;
22 But you are come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of messengers,
sed vi alvenis al la monto Cion kaj al la urbo de vivanta Dio, la ĉiela Jerusalem, kaj al miriadoj da anĝeloj,
23 to the general assembly and congregation of the first-born, who are enrolled in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
al la ĝenerala kunveno kaj eklezio de la unuenaskitoj, en la ĉielo enskribitaj, kaj al Dio, la Juĝisto de ĉiuj, kaj al la spiritoj de justuloj perfektigitaj,
24 and to Jesus the mediator of the new institution, and to the blood of sprinkling, which speaks better things than that of Abel.
kaj al Jesuo, la interulo de nova interligo, kaj al la sango de aspergo, kiu parolas pli bonajn aferojn ol la sango de Habel.
25 Take care that you refuse not him who speaks: for if they did not escape, who refused him who spoke on earth, much more we shall not escape, who turn away from him that speaks from heaven:
Gardu vin, ke vi ne forrifuzu la parolanton. Ĉar se ne forsaviĝis tiuj, kiuj forrifuzis la admonanton sur la tero, des malpli ni, deturnante nin de la parolanto el la ĉielo,
26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now he has promised, saying, "Yet once I shake not the earth only, but also the heavens."
kies voĉo tiam skuis la teron; sed nun Li promesis, dirante: Ankoraŭ unufoje Mi ekmovos ne sole la teron, sed ankaŭ la ĉielon.
27 Now this speech, "YET ONCE," signifies the removing of the things shaken, as of things which were constituted, that the things not shaken may remain.
Kaj tiu diro: Ankoraŭ unufoje — montras la translokigon de la skuitaĵoj, kiel de faritaĵoj, por ke la neskueblaj restu.
28 Wherefore, we having received a kingdom not shaken, let us have gratitude, by which we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and religious fear.
Tial, ricevante regnon neskueblan, ni havu dankemecon, per kiu ni adoru Dion akcepteble kun respektego kaj pia timo;
29 For truly our God is a consuming fire.
ĉar nia Dio estas fajro konsumanta.
