< Ephesians 5 >

1 Be, therefore, imitators of God, as beloved children;
Nihakuvavulyo muve muvalikanyisi ve Ireeza, sina hamuli vana vakwe vasakahala.
2 and walk in love, even as Christ has loved us, and has given himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God, for a sweet smelling savor.
Ni kuyenda mwilato, sina Keresite mwavatusakili ni kuliha iye mwine kwetu. A vavi ineo ni chitavelo, kuva mununko u tabisa kwa Ireeza.
3 But whoredom, and all uncleanness, and inordinate desire-- let them not even be named among you; (as it becomes saints; )
Vuvi bwa vusangu kapa mikwa mivi yonse ni kulakamina chifumu kanji zi wambwa mukati kenu, kakuti ka ziswaneli ku vazumine.
4 nor obscenity, nor foolish talking, nor double meanings, nor things uncomely; but rather thanksgiving.
Kapa kuva kuziwamba ziswavisa, kuwamba za vuyanga, kapa musiye museki zi sena ntuso, zi sa swaneli. Kono kuve ni za kulitumela.
5 For this you know, that no fornicator, nor unclean person, nor lascivious man, who is an idolater, has inheritance in the kingdom of Christ, and of God.
Kokuti muswanela kubona kuti kakwina vubi bwa vuhule, kusachena, kapa vubi bonse, kapa mntu yosaka chifumu, njikuti, ihule, kena chiaanda mumpuso ya Keresite ni Ireeza.
6 Let no one deceive you with vain speeches; for on account of these things, the wrath of God comes upon the children of disobedience.
Kanji muzumini zumwi kumichenga cha manzwi ena mukungulu. Chevaka lya zintu ezo vukali bwa Ireeza bukeziteni kwa vaana vasena ikute.
7 Be not, therefore, participants with them.
Chobulyo kanji muvi ni kavelo nabo.
8 For you were formerly darkness; but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light.
Kakuti inwe muvali ififi, kono hanu chimuli mwiseli kwa Simwine. Chobulyo muyende sina vaana ve seli.
9 (Now, the fruit of life consists in all goodness, and righteousness, and truth.)
Kakuti miselo yeseli i hindilile bulotu bonse, kujolola, ni buniti.
10 Approve what is well pleasing to the Lord.
Mu wane kuti njechihi chitavisa Simwine.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them.
Kanji muvi ni kavelo kumisevezi yamiselo ye fifi. Mucivaka chakuti, mu vezivahaze.
12 For the things which are secretly done by them, it is base even to mention.
Kakuti zintu zi vava pangi avo mwikunutu ziswavisa hahulu nanga ku kuziwamba.
13 But all these reprehensible things are made manifest by the light; for whatever makes manifest is light.
Zintu zonse, ha zi patululwa cheseli, zi zivahali.
14 Wherefore, it says, Awake, you who sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine upon you.
Kakuti zintu zonse zi va patulwilwe zi vamaniswa. Nihakwinabulyo kuwambwa kuti, “Mulala, inwe vanamañonzi, mi munyamuke kuzwa ku vafwile, mi Keresite kabenye henu.”
15 See, then, that you walk accurately: not as fools, but as wise men;
Nihakwinabulyo mutokomele mo muyendela, isinyi kuva sina vantu vasena vutali kono sina vatali.
16 redeeming time, because the days are evil.
Mumamele inako chakuti mazuva chena vuvi.
17 Therefore be not simpletons, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Kanji muvi vaholo. Nihekuvavulyo, muzuwisize itato ye Simwine kuti njehi.
18 And we not drunk with wine, by which comes dissoluteness; but be filled with the Spirit:
Kanji u kolwa kunywa iveine, kakuti i twala kwisinyeho. Nihakwinavulyo, wizuzwe cha Luhuho Lujolola.
19 speaking to one another in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord:
Mu kandekisane zumwi kuzumwi chaLisamu ni nzimbo nimu chafela. Muzimbe mi mulumbeke chenkulo zenu zonse ku Simwine.
20 giving thanks at all times for all things, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to God, even the Father.
Inako yonse muhe bwitumelo kuzintu zonse chezina la Simwine wetu Jesu Keresite kwe Ireeza Tayo.
21 Be subject to one another, in the fear of God.
Mulivonze kunsi bamwi kubamwi chetukelo ya Keresite.
22 Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
Vanakazi, mulivike kunsi ku va mwihyenwanwe, sina ku Simwine.
23 For the husband is head of the wife, even as Christ is head of the congregation; he is the saviour of the body.
Kakuti mukwame nji mutwi wa mwanakazi, sina Kelesite naye hali mutwi wenkeleke. Nji muhazi wa muvili.
24 Therefore, as the congregation is subject to Christ; so, also, let the wives be to their own husbands, in everything.
Kono sina inkeleke ha ina mwikonde la Keresite, chobulyo ni mwanakazi u swanela ku va vulyo kwa mwihabwe mwizintu sonse.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ, also, loved the congregation, and gave himself for it;
Bakwame, musake vanakazi venu sina Keresite mwa sakile inkeleke ni kuliha iye mwine kwili.
26 that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it with a bath of water, with the word.
Avachiti bulyo kokuti a mupange yojolola. Ava muchenisi chaku musambisa ni menzi che nzwi.
27 That he might present it to himself glorious, a congregation not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it might be holy, and without blemish.
Avachitibulyo kuti a lihye iyemwine mwikanya yenkeleke, ne kusena vubi nanga kunyana nanga chimwi chiswana necho, kono nihakwinavulyo kujolola kusena mafosisa
28 So ought husbands to love their own wives, as their own bodies: he who loves his own wife, loves himself.
Chenzila iswana, bakwame vaswanela kusaka vanakazi vavo sina mivili yabo. Iye mwine yosaka mwihyabwe usaka wakwe mwine.
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the congregation:
Kakwinwa muntu ya cha vatoyi muvili wakwe. Kono, u vavalela ni kuusaka, sina Keresite naye mwasakile inkeleke.
30 because we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
Chakuti iswe twinkalulo ya muvili wakwe.
31 For this reason shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall adhere to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh.
“Chevaka lyo mukwame kasiye besi ni banyina mi kalikopanye kwa mwihyabwe, mi vovele ka vave inyama yonke”.
32 This is a great mystery; but I speak concerning Christ and the congregation.
Uvu vuniti bukando buungwilwe, kono ni wamba kuamana niKeresite ni nkeleke.
33 Therefore, also, let every one of you in particular, so love his own wife as himself; and let the wife reverence her husband.
Nihakubabulyo, zumwi ni zumwi kwenu naye asake mwihyabwe cha mwalisakila, mi vanakazi bakuteke bakwame vabo.
