< 1 Timothy 6 >

1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke, esteem their own masters worthy of all honor, that the name of God and his doctrine be not defamed.
2 And let not those who have believing masters, not despise them, because they are brethren; but let them serve them more, because they are believers, and beloved, who receive the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
A irail me ar saumas akan kin poson ren der mamale kin ir aki ar saulang, a mak eta ren peiki ong irail, pweki ar lelapok o kompokelar. Mepukat padapadakiki o panauiki.
3 If any one teach differently, and consent not to wholesome dictates of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
A ma amen kin wia eu padak toror, o a sota pan dadaurata masan mau en atail Kaun Iesus Kristus o lamalam, me kon ong Kot,
4 he is puffed up with pride, knowing nothing; but is doting about questions, and verbal contentions, from which come envy, strife, evil speakings, unjust suspicions,
Nan a aklapalap o sota weweki meakot, a somauki akamai o lokaia sued, me kin kareda peirin, kapei lokaia, lalaue, o karaune mal.
5 perverse disputings of men wholly corrupted in mind, and destitute of the truth; who reckon gain to be godliness: from such, stand aloof.
O song en akamai en aramas akan, me kin suedela ni lol arail, re liki sang melel, re kiki ong, me pai ren Kot pan kareda kapwa.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
A pai ren Kot o lolapot, iei me pai kasampwalia.
7 For we brought nothing into the world, and it is evident that we can carry out nothing.
Pwe sota, me kitail wa dong sappa a sansal, me kitail pil sota pan wawei sang meakot.
8 Wherefore, having food and raiment, with these let us be content.
A ma kan atail kisin manga o at likau mia, kitail en insenemauki.
9 But they who will be rich, fall into temptation, and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which plunge men into destruction and perdition.
A irail, me inong iong kapwapwala, pan lodi ong songesong, o kotauepa kan, o inong sued, o kamatok, me kakirdilang aramas akan, wasan kamekam o sued.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil, which some, eagerly desiring, have wholly erred from the faith, and pierced themselves all around with many sorrows.
Pwe limpok ong moni me tapin song sued karos, me akai inong iong, rap salongala sang poson o kare ong pein irail kamadak toto.
11 Therefore, do you, O man of God! flee these things, and pursue righteousness, piety, faith, love, patience, meekness.
A koe aramas en Kot amen, tang wei sang mepukat, a inong iong me pung o pai ren Kot, poson, limpok, kanongama, opampap en Ngen.
12 Combat the good combat of faith: lay hold on eternal life; to which, also, you have been called, and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. (aiōnios g166)
Wiada pei mau en poson, aneki maur soutuk, me koe pil paeker ong o kadededa kadede mau o mon saunkadede toto. (aiōnios g166)
13 I charge you, in the presence of God, who makes all alive-- and of Christ Jesus, who witnessed to Pontius Pilate the good confession;
I kakaliki ong uk mon Kot, me kotin kamaureda meakaros o mon Kristus Iesus, me kotin kadededa mon Pontius Pilatus kadede mau o.
14 that you keep this commandment without spot, unblamable, till the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Koe en kanikid kusoned, o so samin, o so sapung, lao en atail Kaun Iesus Kristus a kotin pwarado,
15 which appearance, at the proper season, the blessed and only Potentate, the King of king, and Lord of lords will exhibit;
16 who only has immortality--dwelling in light inaccessible; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and might everlasting. Amen. (aiōnios g166)
Pwe i eta ieias soutuk, me kotikot nan marain, me sota meamen kak ong, me sota aramas kilanger, o so kak kilang, i en waunla manaman soutuk! Amen. (aiōnios g166)
17 Charge the rich in the present world not to be elated in mind, nor to trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who confers on us richly all things for enjoyment-- (aiōn g165)
Koe en kapung ong me kapwapwaki dipisou en sappa et, me re der aklapalap o pil der kaporoporeki kapwa somelel, a Kot, me kupurai ong kitail sapan meakan karos, pwe kitail en paie kida. (aiōn g165)
18 to do good, to be rich in lovely works, ready to distribute, communicative,
19 providing for themselves a good foundation for hereafter, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
20 O Timothy, guard the things committed to you in trust, avoiding profane babblings, and oppositions of knowledge, falsely so named:
O Timoteus, pereki pai, me pangalang re om, ni om liki sang poupou mal kai o padak likam en me aklolekong.
21 which some, professing, have erred, with respect to the faith. Favor be with you.
Me akai lodi ong ap salongala sang poson. Mak o en me re om!
