1 John 5
1 Every one who believes that Jesus is the Christ, has been begotten by God; and every one who loves the begetter, loves also the begotten by him.
Jisudi Christtani haina thajaba mi khudingmak Tengban Mapudagi poklabani aduga mapa adubu nungsiba mi khudingna machabusu nungsi.
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
Eikhoina Tengban Mapubu nungsiba amasung mahakki yathangsing adu ngakllabadi eikhoina Tengban Mapugi machasingbu nungsi haiba khang-i.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not burdensome;
Eikhoina Tengban Mapubu nungsiba haibasi mahakki yathangsing inba aduni. Mahakki yathangsingdi eikhoigidamak potlum natte,
4 because, every one that is begotten by God, overcomes the world. And this is the victory which overcomes the world, even our faith.
maramdi Tengban Mapudagi poklaba mi khudingna taibangpanbabu ngammi. Eikhoina taibangpanbabu ngamba haibasi eikhoigi thajabagi mapannani.
5 Who is he that overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
Taibangpanbabu ngamba mahak adu kanano? Jisudi Tengban Mapugi Machanupani haina thajaba mahak adu khaktanani.
6 This is her who came by water and blood, even Jesus the Christ; not by the water only, but by the water and the blood.
Ising amasung eegi mapanna lenglakpa Ibungo mahak adu asini, haibadi Jisu Christtani. Mahakna isingtagi mapanna lakpa natte adubu ising amasung eegi mapannani. Sakhi piriba adu Thawai adunani maramdi Thawai adu achumbani.
7 And it is the Spirit who testified; because the Spirit is the truth.
Sakhi ahum lei:
8 Indeed, there are three who bear testimony: the Spirit, and the water, and the blood; and these three agree in one.
Thawai, ising amasung eeni; ahum asi amata oina yanei.
9 If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater. Now, this is the testimony of God, which he has testified concerning his Son.
Eikhoina mioibagi sakhi lou-i adubu Tengban Mapugi sakhina henna chao-i maramdi mahakki Machanupagi maramda sakhi piriba asi Tengban Mapugi sakhini.
10 (He who believes on the Son of God, has the testimony in himself. He who believes not God, has made him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony, which God has testified concerning his Son.)
Tengban Mapugi Machanupa adubu thajaba makhoina sakhi asi lou-i. Tengban Mapubu thajadaba makhoina Tengban Mapubu chinthiba oihalli, maramdi Tengban Mapuna Machanupagi maramda sakhi piba adu makhoina thajade.
11 Now this is the testimony, that God has given to us eternal life: and this life is in his Son. (aiōnios g166)
Sakhi adu asini, Tengban Mapuna eikhoida lomba naidaba hingba pibire, aduga hingba adu mahakki Machanupa aduda lei. (aiōnios g166)
12 He who has the Son, has this life; he who has not the Son of God, has not this life.
Machanupa adubu phanglaba mahak aduna hingba adu phangle; Tengban Mapugi Machanupa adubu phangdaba mahak aduna hingba adu phangde.
13 These things I have written to you, that you may know that you have eternal life--that you may continue to believe on the name of the Son of God. (aiōnios g166)
Tengban Mapugi Machanupagi mingda thajaba nakhoida lomba naidaba hingba lei haibasi nakhoina khangnanaba waramsing asi eina nakhoida i-bani. (aiōnios g166)
14 And this is the confidence which we have with him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hearkens to us.
Tengban Mapugi maphamda changjabada eikhoigi leijaba chetna thajaba adu asini: madudi eikhoina mahakki ningba matung inna karigumba ama eikhoina nijarabadi, mahakna eikhoigi nijaba adu tabi.
15 And if we know that he hearkens to us, concerning whatever we ask; we know that we shall obtain the petitions which we have asked from him.
Eikhoina nijaba makhei Ibungona tabi haiba eikhoina khanglabadi, eikhoina mahakki maphamdagi nijakhiba adu eikhoina phangle haiba khang-i.
16 If any one see his brother sinning a sin, not to death, let him ask, and he will grant to him life, for those who sin not to death. There is a sin leading to death. I do not say concerning it, that you should ask.
Kanagumba nahakki machin manao amana siba thok-hanba nattaba pap touba urabadi, nahakna haijabigadabani aduga Tengban Mapuna makhoida hingba pibigani. Eina hairiba asi siba thok-hanba nattaba pap toubasing makhoi adugini. Siba thok-hanba pap lei. Nakhoina madugi maramda haijagadabani haina eina haiba natte.
17 All unrighteousness is sin: but there is a sin not to death.
Aranba touba pumnamak papni adubu siba thok-handaba pap lei.
18 We know that whoever has been begotten by God, does not sin; but he who is begotten by God, guards himself, and the wicked on does not lay hold on him.
Tengban Mapudagi pokkhraba mi kana amatana pap makha tana touduna leite haiba eikhoina khang-i; Tengban Mapugi Machanupa aduna makhoibu ngaksenbi amasung Phattaba Mahak aduna makhoibu sokpa ngamde.
19 We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies under the wicked one.
Eikhoidi Tengban Mapugi machasingni aduga taibangpan pumbadi Phattaba Mahak adugi makhutta lei haiba eikhoina khang-i.
20 Moreover, we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding, that we might know him that is true; and we are in him that is true--in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and the eternal life. (aiōnios g166)

21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
Eigi nungsiba angangsa, nakhoi nasabu lai-murtisingdagi lapna leiyu.
