1 Corinthians 2
1 Now, when I cam to you, brethren, I came not with excellency of speech, and of wisdom, declaring to you the testimony of God.
І я, прийшовши до вас, браттє, прийшов не з високим словом або премудростю, звіщаючи вам сьвідченнє Боже.
2 For I determined to make known nothing among you but Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
Бо я надумавсь, не знати нічого між вами, тільки Ісуса Христа, та й Його рознятого.
3 And I, in weakness and in fear, and in much trembling, was with you.
І був я в вас у слабосиллї, в страсї і в великій трівозї.
4 My discourse, also, and my proclamation, were not with persuasive words of human wisdom; but with the demonstration of the Spirit, and of power.
І слово мов, і проповідь моя не в переважливих словах людської премудрості, а в явленню духа і сили,
5 That your faith might not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
щоб віра ваша була не в мудрості людській, а в силі Божій.
6 However, we speak wisdom among the perfect: but not the wisdom of this world; neither of the rulers of this world, who are to be brought to nothing. (aiōn g165)
Премудрість же промовляємо між звершеними, та премудрість не віка сього, анї князів віка сього, що зникають, (aiōn g165)
7 But we speak the mysterious wisdom of God, which has been till now concealed; which God declared before the time of the ages, should be spoken to our glory. (aiōn g165)
а промовляємо премудрість Божу тайну, закриту, котру Бог призначив перш віків на славу нашу, (aiōn g165)
8 Which none of the rulers of this world knew: for if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn g165)
котрої ніхто з князів віка сього не пізнав; бо коли б пізнали, то Господа слави не розпяли б. (aiōn g165)
9 For, as it is written, "Those things eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, and into the heart of man have not entered, which God has prepared for them who love him."
Нї, яко ж писано: Чого око не видїло, нї ухо не чуло і що на серце чоловікові не зійшло, те наготовив Бог тим, хто любить Його.
10 But God has revealed them to us by his Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
Нам же Бог відкрив Духом своїм; бо Дух усього досліджує, навіть і глибокостей Божих.
11 For who, of men, knows the thoughts of a man, except the spirit of man which is in him: so, also, the thoughts of God no man knows, but the Spirit of God.
Хто бо з людей знає, що в чоловіку, окрім духа чоловічого, що в ньому? Так і що в Бозї, нїхто не знає тільки Дух Божий.
12 Now, we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which comes from God, that we might know the things which are gifted to us by God.
Ми ж не духа сьвіта прийняли а Духа, що від Бога, щоб знали, що нам дароване від Бога.
13 Which things, also, we speak, not in words, taught by human wisdom; but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things in spiritual words.
Се промовляємо не ученими словами людської премудрости, а навченими Духом сьвятим, духовні (речи) духовним (словом) подаючи.
14 Now, an animal man receives not the thing of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually examined.
Душевний же чоловік не приймає, що єсть Духа Божого; дурощі бо воно йому, і не може зрозуміти, бо се духовно треба розбірати.
15 But the spiritual man examines, indeed, all things, yet he is examined by no one.
Духовний же розбірає все, він же від нїкого не розбираєть ся.
16 For what animal man has known the mind of the Lord, who will instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
Хто бо зрозумів ум Господень, щоб ясувати його? Ми ж ум Христів маємо.
