1 Corinthians 15
1 Now I declare to you, brethren, the glad tidings which I announced to; which, also, you have received, and in which you stand.
Además, hermanos, les declaro las Buenas Noticias que les prediqué, las cuales recibieron, y en ellas están firmes.
2 By which, also, you are saved, if you retain those joyful tidings which I delivered to you; unless you believed to no purpose.
Si se aferran a la Palabra que les prediqué son salvos por medio de [las Buenas Noticias], si no creyeron en vano.
3 For I delivered to you, among the first things, what also I received first--that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures;
Porque primero les entregué lo que recibí: Que Cristo murió por nuestros pecados, según las Escrituras,
4 and that he was buried; and that he rose again the third day, according to the scriptures;
fue sepultado y fue resucitado al tercer día, según las Escrituras,
5 and that he was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve.
que apareció a Cefas y luego a los 12.
6 After that, he was seen by above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain to this present time, but some are fallen asleep.
Después apareció a más de 500 hermanos a la vez. La mayoría de ellos aún viven, y algunos durmieron.
7 After that, he was seen by James; then, by all the Apostles.
Luego se apareció a Jacobo, mas tarde a todos los apóstoles,
8 And, last of all he was seen by me, as by one born out of due time.
y por último, como si fuera un nacido fuera de tiempo, se apareció también a mí.
9 For I am the least of the Apostles; who am not worthy to be called an Apostle, because I persecuted the congregation of God.
Porque yo soy el más pequeño de los apóstoles. No soy digno de ser llamado apóstol, porque perseguí a la iglesia de Dios.
10 But, by the favor of God, I am what I am: and his favor which was bestowed on me, was not vain; for I have labored more abundantly than all of them; yet not I, but the favor of God, which is with me.
Pero por [la] gracia de Dios soy lo que soy, y su gracia hacia mí no resultó vana. Más bien trabajé mucho más que todos ellos, pero no yo, sino la gracia de Dios conmigo.
11 Well, then, whether I or they, so we proclaim, and so you believed.
Entonces, sean ellos o yo, así predicamos y así [ustedes ]creyeron.
12 Now, if it be proclaimed that Christ was raised from the dead, how is it that some among you say, that there is no resurrection of the dead?
Pero si se predica que Cristo fue resucitado de entre [los] muertos, ¿cómo dicen algunos de ustedes que no hay resurrección de muertos?
13 For if there be no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised.
Pues si no hay resurrección de muertos, tampoco Cristo fue resucitado.
14 And if Christ has not been raised, vain, certainly, is our proclamation, and vain, also, is your faith.
Si Cristo no fue resucitado, entonces nuestra predicación es vana y la fe de ustedes también.
15 Besides, we are found even false witnesses concerning God; because we have witnessed, with respect to God, that he raised Christ; whom he raised not, if, indeed, the dead are not raised.
Aún más, si en verdad [los] muertos no son resucitados, somos falsos testigos de Dios, porque dimos testimonio de que Dios resucitó a Cristo, al cual no resucitó.
16 And if the dead are not raised, neither has Christ been raised,
Porque si [los ]muertos no son resucitados, tampoco Cristo fue resucitado.
17 Farther, if Christ has not been raised, your faith is useless; you are still in your sins.
Si Cristo no fue resucitado, la fe de ustedes es vacía. Aún están en sus pecados,
18 Certainly, also, they who are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
y como resultado, los que durmieron en Cristo se perdieron.
19 If in this life, only, we have hope in Christ, we are, of all men, the most miserable.
Si solo esperamos en Cristo para esta vida, ¡somos los más dignos de lástima de todos los hombres!
20 But now Christ is raised from the dead, --the first fruit of them who have fallen asleep.
Pero, ¡Cristo fue resucitado de entre [los] muertos, el Primero de los que durmieron!
21 For since through a man came death, through a man also comes the resurrection of the dead.
Por cuanto [la] muerte [vino] por medio de un hombre, también por medio de un Hombre, [la ]resurrección de [los ]muertos.
22 Therefore, as by Adam all die, so also by Christ all shall be made alive.
Porque así como en Adán todos mueren, también en Cristo todos volverán a vivir.
23 But every one in his own rank: Christ the first fruit; they that are Christ's, afterward, at his coming.
Pero cada uno en su orden: Cristo, el Primero, luego, los de Cristo, en su venida.
24 Then comes the end, when he shall resign the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all government, and all authority, and power.
Luego viene el fin, cuando [Él] entregue el reino al Dios y Padre, cuando suprima toda soberanía, autoridad y poder,
25 For he must reign till he has put all the enemies under his feet.
porque le es necesario reinar hasta que ponga a todos sus enemigos bajo sus pies.
26 The last enemy, Death, shall be destroyed.
[El] último enemigo [que será] destruido es la muerte.
27 For he has subjected all things under his feet. Now when it says that all things are subjected, it is manifest that he is excepted, who has subjected all things to him.
Porque Dios sometió todas las cosas debajo de sus pies. Pero cuando dice que todas las cosas le fueron sometidas, queda claro que eso excluye al [Padre, ] Quien le sometió todas las cosas.
28 Now, when all things are subjected to him, then even the Son himself shall be subjected to him, who subjected all things to him, that God may be all in all.
Cuando todo le sea sometido, entonces el Hijo mismo se sujetará al que le sujetó todas las cosas, para que Dios sea todo en todos.
29 Otherwise, what shall they do, who are immersed for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why then are they immersed for them?
De otro modo, si realmente los muertos no resucitan, ¿qué harán los que se bautizan por los muertos? ¿Por qué se bautizan por ellos?
30 And why do we endanger ourselves every hour?
¿Por qué nosotros nos exponemos a peligros a toda hora?
31 I solemnly declare, by your rejoicing, what I also have in Christ Jesus our Lord, that every day I die.
Les aseguro, hermanos, por la satisfacción que tengo con respecto a ustedes en nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que muero cada día.
32 If, after the manner of men, I have fought with wild beasts at Ephesus, what is the advantage to me, if the dead rise not? Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.
Si como hombre batallé contra fieras en Éfeso, ¿qué provecho obtuve? Si los muertos no resucitan, ¡comamos y bebamos, porque mañana moriremos!
33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
No se engañen. Los malos compañeros corrompen las buenas costumbres.
34 Awake up as you ought, and sin not; for some of you have not the knowledge of God. For shame to you, I say it.
Velen debidamente y no pequen, porque algunos no conocen a Dios. Hablo para avergonzarlos.
35 But some one will say, How can the dead be raised up? and with what kind of body do they come?
Pero alguno preguntará: ¿Cómo resucitan los muertos? ¿Con cuál clase de cuerpo se levantarán?
36 Simpleton! what you sow is not made alive, except it die.
¡Insensato! Lo que tú siembras no se levanta si no muere.
37 And as to what you sow, you do not show the body which shall be produced, but the naked grain; it may be of wheat, or of any other kind:
Lo que siembras no es el cuerpo que saldrá, sino siembras grano desnudo tal vez de trigo u otro grano.
38 but God gives it a body, as it has pleased him; and to each of the seeds, its proper body.
Pero Dios le da el cuerpo que quiere, y cuerpo propio a cada semilla.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is, indeed, one flesh of men, and another of beasts, and another of fishes, and another of fowls.
No toda carne es igual, sino una es humana, otra, carne de bestias, otra, carne de aves, y otra, de peces.
40 And there are bodies celestial, and bodies terrestrial: but different, indeed, is the glory of the celestial, and that of the terrestrial.
Hay cuerpos celestiales y cuerpos terrenales. Pero uno es el resplandor de los celestiales, y otro, el de los terrenales.
41 The glory of the sun is one, and the glory of the moon is another, and the glory of the stars another; moreover, star excels star in glory.
Uno es resplandor de sol, otro, el resplandor de luna, y otro, el resplandor de estrellas, porque una estrella es distinta de otra en resplandor.
42 Just so is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption--it is raised in incorruption:
Así también es la resurrección de los muertos. Se siembra en [cuerpo] corruptible, se levanta en [cuerpo] incorruptible;
43 it is sown in dishonor--it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness--it is raised in power:
se siembra en humillación, resucita con resplandor; se siembra en debilidad, resucita con poder;
44 it is sown an animal body--it is raised a spiritual body. There is an animal body, and there is a spiritual body.
se siembra un cuerpo natural, resucita un cuerpo espiritual. Si hay cuerpo natural, hay también espiritual.
45 For thus it is written, "The first man, Adam, was made a living soul--the last Adam, a vivifying spirit."
Así también está escrito: El primer hombre, Adán, fue hecho como un alma viviente, el último Adán, como un Espíritu que da vida.
46 However, that was not first, which is spiritual; but that which is animal, and then that which is spiritual.
Pues primero es lo natural, luego, lo espiritual.
47 The first man, from the earth, was earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
El primer hombre es terrenal, el segundo Hombre es del cielo.
48 As was the earthy, so also are the earthy; and as is the heavenly, such also shall be heavenly.
Como el terrenal, así también los terrenales. Y como el celestial, así también los celestiales.
49 For, as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
Así como llevamos la imagen del terrenal, llevaremos también la imagen del celestial.
50 And this I affirm, brethren, that flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God; neither can corruption inherit incorruption.
Pero esto digo, hermanos: [el] cuerpo y [la ]sangre no pueden heredar [el ]reino de Dios, ni lo corruptible hereda lo incorruptible.
51 Behold, I tell you a secret: we shall not, indeed, all die; but we shall all be changed;
Ciertamente les digo un misterio: No todos dormiremos, pero todos seremos transformados
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for it shall sound, and then the dead shall be raised incorruptible; and we shall be changed.
en un instante, en un pestañeo de ojo, al toque de la trompeta final, porque sonará. Los muertos serán resucitados incorruptibles, y nosotros seremos transformados.
53 For this corruptible body, must put on incorruption; and this mortal body must put on immortality.
Porque es necesario que esto corruptible se vista de incorrupción, y esto mortal se vista de inmortalidad.
54 Now, when this corruptible body shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal body shall have put on immortality, then that saying of scripture shall be accomplished, "Death is swallowed up forever."
Y cuando esto corruptible se vista de incorrupción, y esto mortal se vista de inmortalidad, se cumplirá la Palabra que está escrita: ¡Sorbida es la muerte en victoria!
¿Dónde está, oh muerte, tu aguijón? ¿Dónde, oh sepulcro, tu victoria? (Hadēs g86)
56 For the sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
Pues el aguijón de la muerte es el pecado, y el poder del pecado, la Ley.
57 Now thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Pero ¡gracias a Dios, que nos da la victoria por medio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo!
58 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, be stable, unmoved; abounding in the work of the Lord at all times, knowing that your labor is not vain in the Lord.
Por tanto, mis hermanos amados, estén firmes e inconmovibles. Abunden en la obra del Señor siempre y entiendan que su trabajo en [el] Señor no es vano.
