Zechariah 3
1 And he shows me Joshua the high priest standing before the Messenger of YHWH, and Satan standing at his right hand, to be an adversary to him.
Después me mostró al sumo sacerdote Josué puesto delante del Ángel de Yavé. Satán estaba a su mano derecha para acusarlo.
2 And YHWH says to Satan: “YHWH pushes against you, O Satan, Indeed, YHWH pushes against you, Who is fixing on Jerusalem, Is this not a brand delivered from fire?”
Yavé dijo a Satán: ¡Yavé te reprenda, Satán! Yavé, Quien escogió a Jerusalén, te reprenda. ¿No es éste un tizón arrebatado del fuego?
3 And Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and is standing before the Messenger.
Josué estaba vestido con ropas impuras y estaba en pie ante el Ángel.
4 And He answers and speaks to those standing before Him, saying, “Turn aside the filthy garments from off him.” And He says to him, “See, I have caused your iniquity to pass away from off you, so as to clothe you with costly apparel.”
Éste mandó a los que estaban ante Él: ¡Quítenle las ropas impuras! Y a él le dijo: Mira, quité de ti tu pecado, y te vestí ropas de gala.
5 He also said, “Let them set a pure turban on his head.” And they set the pure turban on his head, and clothe him with garments. And the Messenger of YHWH is standing,
Entonces dijo: ¡Coloquen un turbante limpio sobre su cabeza! Y pusieron un turbante sobre su cabeza, y lo vistieron con ropas. Y el Ángel de Yavé estaba en pie.
6 and the Messenger of YHWH protests to Joshua, saying,
Después el Ángel de Yavé amonestó a Josué:
7 “Thus said YHWH of Hosts: If you walk in My ways, And if you keep My charge, Then also you judge My house, And also you keep My courts, And I have given to you conductors among these standing by.
Yavé de las huestes dice: Si andas por mis caminos y si guardas mi Mandato, también tú gobernarás mi Casa y guardarás mis patios. Te daré libre acceso entre éstos que están presentes.
8 Now hear, O Joshua the high priest, You and your companions sitting before you (For men of type [are] they), For behold, I am bringing in My servant—a Shoot.
Escucha ahora, Josué, sumo sacerdote, tú y tus compañeros que se sientan delante de ti, que ciertamente son varones simbólicos, porque mira, Yo traigo a mi Esclavo, el Renuevo.
9 For behold, the stone that I put before Joshua, On one stone [are] seven eyes, Behold, I am engraving its engraving, A declaration of YHWH of Hosts, And I have removed the iniquity of that land in one day.
Mira, pongo una piedra delante de Josué. Es una piedra única en la cual hay siete ojos. Yo mismo esculpiré una inscripción en ella, dice Yavé de las huestes. Yo quitaré la iniquidad de la tierra en un día.
10 In that day—a declaration of YHWH of Hosts, You call, each to his neighbor, To the place of the vine, And to the place of the fig tree!”
En aquel día, dice Yavé de las huestes, cada uno invitará a su compañero, a estar debajo de su vid y debajo de su higuera.
