Zechariah 3
1 And he shows me Joshua the high priest standing before the Messenger of YHWH, and Satan standing at his right hand, to be an adversary to him.
Il me montra Josué, le grand prêtre, debout devant l'ange de Yahvé, et Satan, debout à sa droite, pour être son adversaire.
2 And YHWH says to Satan: “YHWH pushes against you, O Satan, Indeed, YHWH pushes against you, Who is fixing on Jerusalem, Is this not a brand delivered from fire?”
Yahvé dit à Satan: « Yahvé te réprime, Satan! Oui, Yahvé, qui a choisi Jérusalem, te réprimande! N'est-ce pas là un bâton brûlant arraché du feu? ".
3 And Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and is standing before the Messenger.
Or Josué était revêtu de vêtements souillés, et il se tenait devant l'ange.
4 And He answers and speaks to those standing before Him, saying, “Turn aside the filthy garments from off him.” And He says to him, “See, I have caused your iniquity to pass away from off you, so as to clothe you with costly apparel.”
L'ange prit la parole et dit à ceux qui se tenaient devant lui: « Enlève-lui les vêtements sales. » Il lui dit: « Voici que je fais disparaître de toi ton iniquité, et je vais te revêtir de riches habits. »
5 He also said, “Let them set a pure turban on his head.” And they set the pure turban on his head, and clothe him with garments. And the Messenger of YHWH is standing,
J'ai dit: « Qu'on lui mette un turban propre sur la tête. » Ils lui mirent un turban propre sur la tête et le vêtirent, et l'ange de Yahvé se tenait là.
6 and the Messenger of YHWH protests to Joshua, saying,
L'ange de Yahvé rassura seul Josué en disant:
7 “Thus said YHWH of Hosts: If you walk in My ways, And if you keep My charge, Then also you judge My house, And also you keep My courts, And I have given to you conductors among these standing by.
« Yahvé des armées dit: Si tu marches dans mes voies et si tu suis mes instructions, toi aussi tu jugeras ma maison, tu garderas mes parvis, et je te donnerai accès parmi ceux qui sont là.
8 Now hear, O Joshua the high priest, You and your companions sitting before you (For men of type [are] they), For behold, I am bringing in My servant—a Shoot.
Écoute maintenant, Josué, le grand prêtre, toi et tes compagnons qui sont assis devant toi, car ce sont des hommes qui sont un signe; car voici, je vais faire sortir mon serviteur, le Rameau.
9 For behold, the stone that I put before Joshua, On one stone [are] seven eyes, Behold, I am engraving its engraving, A declaration of YHWH of Hosts, And I have removed the iniquity of that land in one day.
Car voici la pierre que j'ai placée devant Josué: sur une pierre, il y a sept yeux; voici, je graverai son inscription, dit Yahvé des armées, et j'effacerai l'iniquité de ce pays en un seul jour.
10 In that day—a declaration of YHWH of Hosts, You call, each to his neighbor, To the place of the vine, And to the place of the fig tree!”
En ce jour-là, dit Yahvé des armées, vous inviterez chacun votre voisin sous la vigne et sous le figuier. »
