Zechariah 13

1 “In that day there is a fountain opened To the house of David And to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, For sin and for impurity.

En aquel día se abrirá una fuente para la casa de David y para los habitantes de Jerusalén, a fin de (lavar) el pecado y la inmundicia.

2 And it has come to pass in that day,” A declaration of YHWH of Hosts, “I cut off the names of the idols from the land, And they are not remembered anymore, And also the prophets and the spirit of uncleanness I cause to pass away from the land.

En aquel día, dice Yahvé de los ejércitos, exterminaré de la tierra los nombres de los ídolos, y no quedará más memoria de ellos; y extirparé de la tierra también a los profetas y al espíritu inmundo.

3 And it has been, when one prophesies again, That his parents, his father and his mother, Have said to him, You do not live, For you have spoken falsehood in the Name of YHWH, And his father and his mother, his parents, Have pierced him through in his prophesying.

Cuando alguno en adelante se ponga a profetizar, le dirán su padre y su madre que le engendraron: «No vivirás porque has hablado mentira en el Nombre de Yahvé». Y su padre y su madre que le engendraron, le traspasarán mientras esté profetizando.

4 And it has come to pass in that day, The prophets are ashamed, each of his vision, in his prophesying, And they do not put on a hairy robe to deceive.

Cuando en aquel día profeticen los profetas, se avergonzarán cada cual de su visión, y no vestirán más el manto de pelo para mentir.

5 And [one] has said, I am not a prophet, A man—I am a tiller of ground, For ground [is] my possession from my youth.

Un tal dirá: «Yo no soy profeta, soy labrador de la tierra; porque un hombre me compró ya en mi juventud».

6 And [one] has said to him, What [are] these wounds in your hands? And he has said, Because I was struck [at] home by my lovers.

Y cuando le preguntaren: «¿Qué son esas heridas en tus manos?», contestará: «Me hicieron estas heridas en la casa de mis amigos».

7 Sword, awake against My Shepherd, And against a hero—My Fellow,” A declaration of YHWH of Hosts. “Strike the Shepherd, and the flock is scattered, And I have put back My hand on the little ones.

¡Despierta, espada, contra mi Pastor, y contra el Varón de mi compañía, dice Yahvé de los ejércitos: ¡Hiere al Pastor! y se dispersarán las ovejas, y extenderé mi mano contra los párvulos.

8 And it has come to pass, In all the land,” a declaration of YHWH, “Two parts in it are cut off—they expire, And the third is left in it.

Y sucederá que en toda la tierra, dice Yahvé, serán exterminados los dos tercios, perecerán y quedará en ella solo un tercio,

9 And I have brought the third into fire, And refined them like a refining of silver, And have tried them like a trying of gold, It calls in My Name, and I answer it, I have said, It [is] My people, And it says, YHWH [is] my God!”

Y este tercio lo meteré en el fuego, lo purificaré como se purifica la plata, y lo probaré como se prueba el oro. Invocará mi Nombre y Yo lo escucharé; Yo diré: «Pueblo mío es». Y él dirá: «Yahvé es mi Dios».
