Zechariah 10
1 They asked of YHWH rain In a time of spring rain, YHWH is making lightnings, And He gives to them rain [in] showers. To each—the herb in the field.
౧కడవరి వాన కాలంలో వర్షం దయచేయమని యెహోవాను వేడుకోండి. ఆకాశంలో మెరుపులు పుట్టేలా చేసేవాడు యెహోవాయే. ఆయన ప్రతి ఒక్కరి పొలంలో పంటలు పెరిగేలా సమృద్ధిగా వర్షాలు కురిపిస్తాడు.
2 Because the teraphim spoke iniquity, And the diviners have seen a falsehood, And dreams of the vanity they speak, [With] vanity they give comfort, Therefore they have journeyed as a flock, They are afflicted, for there is no shepherd.
౨గృహ దేవతలు వ్యర్థమైన మాటలు పలికాయి. సోదె చెప్పేవాళ్ళకు వ్యర్ధమైన కలలు వచ్చాయి. వాళ్ళు కపటంతో ఆ కలలకు అర్థం చెప్పారు. మోసపూరిత భావాలు చెప్పి ఓదార్చారు. కాబట్టి ప్రజలు గొర్రెల మంద తిరిగినట్టు తిరిగారు. తమను కాచే కాపరి లేకపోవడం వల్ల బాధల పాలయ్యారు.
3 “My anger burned against the shepherds, And I lay a charge against the male goats, For YHWH of Hosts has inspected His flock, the house of Judah, And set them as His splendid horse in battle.
౩“కాపరులపై నా కోపాగ్ని మండుతున్నది. మందలో మేకలను నేను శిక్షిస్తాను” అని సేనల ప్రభువు యెహోవా అంటున్నాడు. ఆయన తన మందయైన యూదా ప్రజలను దర్శించి వాళ్ళను తన యుద్ధాశ్వాలుగా మలుచుకుంటాడు.
4 From him [is] a cornerstone, From him a nail, from him a battle-bow, From him goes forth every exactor together.
౪ఆ వంశంలో నుంచి మూలరాయి పుడుతుంది. గుడారపు మేకు, యుద్ధ ధనుస్సు వారి నుండి పుడతాయి. యుద్ధ నేర్పు గలవాడు వారిలో నుండి పుడతాడు.
5 And they have been as heroes, Treading in mire of out-places in battle, And they have fought, for YHWH [is] with them, And have put to shame riders of horses.
౫వారు పరాక్రమంతో యుద్ధం చేస్తూ శత్రువులను వీధుల్లోని బురదలో తొక్కుతారు. యెహోవా వారికి తోడుగా ఉంటాడు కనుక వారు యుద్ధం చేసినప్పుడు గుర్రపు రౌతులు సిగ్గు పడి పరాజయం పాలౌతారు.
6 And I have made the house of Judah mighty, And I save the house of Joseph, And I have caused them to dwell, for I have loved them, And they have been as [if] I had not cast them off, For I [am] their God YHWH, And I answer them.
౬నేను యూదా ప్రజలను బలపరుస్తాను. యోసేపు సంతానానికి రక్షణ కలుగజేసి వారికి నివాసస్థలం ఇస్తాను. నేను వారిపట్ల కనికరం చూపుతాను. నేను వారి ప్రార్థన ఆలకిస్తాను కనుక నేను వాళ్ళను నిరాకరించిన విషయం మరచిపోతారు. నేను వారి దేవుడనైన యెహోవాను,
7 And Ephraim has been as a hero, And their heart has rejoiced as wine, And their sons see, and they have rejoiced, Their heart rejoices in YHWH.
౭ఎఫ్రాయిము ప్రజలు మహా బలవంతులు అవుతారు. ద్రాక్షారసం తాగిన వాళ్ళు సంతోషం పొందినట్టు వాళ్ళు తమ హృదయాల్లో ఆనందిస్తారు. అది చూసిన వారి సంతానం ఆనందపడతారు. వాళ్ళు యెహోవా చేసిన దాన్నిబట్టి హృదయపూర్వకంగా సంతోషిస్తారు.
8 I hiss for them, and I gather them, For I have redeemed them, And they have multiplied as they multiplied.
౮నేను వారిని విమోచించాను కనుక ఈల వేసి పిలిచి వాళ్ళను సమకూరుస్తాను. ఇంతకు ముందు విస్తరించినట్టు వాళ్ళు అభివృద్ది చెందుతారు.
9 And I sow them among peoples, And in far-off places they remember Me, And they have lived with their sons, And they have turned back.
౯నేను వాళ్ళను ఇతర దేశాలకు చెదరగొట్టినప్పటికీ వాళ్ళు నన్ను జ్ఞాపకం చేసికొంటారు. వారూ, వారి సంతానం సజీవులుగా తిరిగి చేరుకుంటారు.
10 And I have brought them back from the land of Egypt, And I gather them from Asshur, And I bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon, And [space] is not found for them there.
౧౦నేను వాళ్ళను ఐగుప్తు దేశం నుండి తిరిగి తీసుకు వస్తాను. అష్షూరు దేశం నుండి వాళ్ళను సమకూరుస్తాను. గిలాదు, లెబానోను దేశాల్లో ఎక్కడా స్థలం చాలనంత విస్తారమైన జనాంగాన్ని తోడుకుని వస్తాను.
11 And He has passed over through the sea, And has pressed and struck billows in the sea, And all depths of a flood have been dried up, And the excellence of Asshur has been brought down, And the rod of Egypt turns aside.
౧౧వాళ్ళు దుఃఖసముద్రం దాటవలసి వచ్చినప్పుడు సముద్రపు అలలు అణగారి పోతాయి. నైలునదిలోని లోతైన స్థలాలను ఆయన ఇంకిపోయేలా చేస్తాడు. అష్షూరీయుల గర్వం అణిగి పోతుంది, ఐగుప్తీయుల నుండి రాజరికం తొలిగి పోతుంది.
12 And I have made them mighty in YHWH, And in His Name they walk up and down,” A declaration of YHWH!
౧౨నేను వాళ్ళను యెహోవా నామం పేరిట బలపరుస్తాను. ఆయన పేరు స్మరించుకుంటూ వారు కొనసాగుతారు. ఇది యెహోవా వాక్కు.
