Titus 2
1 But you—speak what is suitable [according] to the sound teaching.
Lakini wewe yaseme yale yanayoendana na maelekezo ya kuaminika.
2 Elders [are] to be temperate, dignified, sober, sound in faith, in the love, in the endurance.
Wazee wawe na kiasi, heshima, busara, imani safi, katika upendo, na katika uvumilivu.
3 Aged women, in like manner, in behavior as becomes sacred persons, not false accusers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of good things,
Vilevile wanawake wazee lazima daima wajioneshe wao wenyewe kama wenye kujiheshimu, na sio wasengenyaji. Lazima wasiwe watumwa wa pombe.
4 that they may make the young women sober-minded, to be lovers of [their] husbands, lovers of [their] children,
Wanapaswa kufundisha yaliyo mazuri ili kuwaandaa wasichana kwa busara kuwapenda waume zao na watoto wao.
5 sober, pure, keepers of [their own] houses, good, subject to their own husbands, that evil may not be spoken of the word of God.
Wanapaswa kuwafundisha kuwa na busara, wasafi, watunzaji wazuri wa nyumba zao, na watii kwa waume zao wenyewe. Inawalazimu kufanya mambo haya ili kwamba neno la Mungu lisitukanwe.
6 The younger men, in like manner, exhort [them] to be sober-minded.
katika namna iyo hiyo, watieni moyo vijana wa kiume wawe na busara.
7 Concerning all things, present yourself [as] a pattern of good works—in the teaching [with] uncorruptedness, dignity,
Katika njia zote jiwekeni wenyewe kuwa mfano katika kazi nzuri; na mfundishapo, onesheni uadilifu na heshima.
8 sound discourse [that is] blameless, so that he who is of the contrary may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say concerning you.
Ongeeni ujumbe wenye afya na usio na dosari, ili kwamba yeyote apingaye aaibishwe kwa sababu hana baya la kusema juu yetu.
9 Servants [are] to be subject to their own masters, to be well-pleasing in all things, not contradicting,
Watumwa na wawatii mabwana zao katika kila kitu. Wanapaswa kuwafurahisha na sio kubishana nao.
10 not stealing, but showing all good steadfastness, that the teaching of God our Savior they may adorn in all things.
Hawapaswi kuiba. Badala yake, wanapaswa kuonesha imani yote nzuri ili kwamba katika njia zote wayapambe mafundisho yetu kumhusu Mungu mwokozi wetu.
11 For the saving grace of God has appeared to all men,
Kwa kuwa neema ya Mungu imeonekana kwa watu wote.
12 teaching us, that denying the impiety and the worldly desires, we may live soberly, and righteously, and piously in the present age, (aiōn g165)
Inatufundisha kukataa mambo yasiyo ya kimungu na tamaa za kidunia. Inatufundisha kuishi kwa busara, kwa haki, na katika njia za kimungu kwa wakati huu. (aiōn g165)
13 waiting for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
Wakati tunatarajia kupokea tumaini letu lenye baraka, mwonekano wa utukufu wa Mungu wetu mkuu na Mwokozi wetu Yesu Kristo.
14 who gave Himself for us, that He might ransom us from all lawlessness, and might purify to Himself a special people, zealous of good works.
Yesu alijitoa mwenyewe kwa ajili yetu ili kutukomboa kutoka katika uasi na kutufanya wasafi, kwa ajili yake, watu maalumu walio na hamu ya kufanya kazi nzuri.
15 Speak these things, and exhort and convict with all authority; let no one despise you!
Yaseme na kuyasisitiza mambo haya. Kemea kwa mamlaka yote. Usikubali mtu yeyote akupuuze.
