< Song of Solomon 3 >

1 On my bed by night, I sought him whom my soul has loved; I sought him, and I did not find him!
Dare farai a kan gadona na nemi wanda zuciyata take ƙauna; na neme shi amma ban same shi ba.
2 Now let me rise, and go around the city, In the streets and in the broad places, I seek him whom my soul has loved! I sought him, and I did not find him.
Zan tashi yanzu in zagaya gari, in ratsa titunansa da dandalinsa; zan nemi wanda zuciyata take ƙauna. Saboda haka na neme shi, amma ban same shi ba.
3 The watchmen have found me (Who are going around the city), “Have you seen him whom my soul has loved?”
Masu tsaro suka gamu da ni yayinda suke kai kawo a cikin birni, sai na ce, “Kun ga mini wanda zuciyata take ƙauna?”
4 But I passed on a little from them, Until I found him whom my soul has loved! I seized him, and did not let him go, Until I brought him to the house of my mother—And the chamber of her that conceived me.
Rabuwata da su ke nan sai na sami wanda zuciyata take ƙauna. Na riƙe shi, ban yarda yă tafi ba sai da na kawo shi gidan mahaifiyata, zuwa ɗakin wadda ta yi cikina.

11 Go forth, and look, you daughters of Zion, On King Solomon, with the crown, With which his mother crowned him, In the day of his espousals, And in the day of the joy of his heart!
