Romans 8
1 There is, then, now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit;
யே ஜநா: க்²ரீஷ்டம்’ யீஸு²ம் ஆஸ்²ரித்ய ஸா²ரீரிகம்’ நாசரந்த ஆத்மிகமாசரந்தி தே(அ)து⁴நா த³ண்டா³ர்ஹா ந ப⁴வந்தி|
2 for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus set me free from the law of sin and of death;
ஜீவநதா³யகஸ்யாத்மநோ வ்யவஸ்தா² க்²ரீஷ்டயீஸு²நா பாபமரணயோ ர்வ்யவஸ்தா²தோ மாமமோசயத்|
3 for what the Law was not able to do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, His own Son having sent in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh,
யஸ்மாச்சா²ரீரஸ்ய து³ர்ப்³ப³லத்வாத்³ வ்யவஸ்த²யா யத் கர்ம்மாஸாத்⁴யம் ஈஸ்²வரோ நிஜபுத்ரம்’ பாபிஸ²ரீரரூபம்’ பாபநாஸ²கப³லிரூபஞ்ச ப்ரேஷ்ய தஸ்ய ஸ²ரீரே பாபஸ்ய த³ண்ட³ம்’ குர்வ்வந் தத்கர்ம்ம ஸாதி⁴தவாந்|
4 that the righteousness of the Law may be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
தத: ஸா²ரீரிகம்’ நாசரித்வாஸ்மாபி⁴ராத்மிகம் ஆசரத்³பி⁴ர்வ்யவஸ்தா²க்³ரந்தே² நிர்த்³தி³ஷ்டாநி புண்யகர்ம்மாணி ஸர்வ்வாணி ஸாத்⁴யந்தே|
5 For those who are according to the flesh, mind the things of the flesh; and those according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit;
யே ஸா²ரீரிகாசாரிணஸ்தே ஸா²ரீரிகாந் விஷயாந் பா⁴வயந்தி யே சாத்மிகாசாரிணஸ்தே ஆத்மநோ விஷயாந் பா⁴வயந்தி|
6 for the mind of the flesh [is] death, and the mind of the Spirit—life and peace;
ஸா²ரீரிகபா⁴வஸ்ய ப²லம்’ ம்ரு’த்யு: கிஞ்சாத்மிகபா⁴வஸ்ய ப²லே ஜீவநம்’ ஸா²ந்திஸ்²ச|
7 because the mind of the flesh [is] enmity to God, for to the Law of God it does not subject itself,
யத: ஸா²ரீரிகபா⁴வ ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய விருத்³த⁴: ஸ²த்ருதாபா⁴வ ஏவ ஸ ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய வ்யவஸ்தா²யா அதீ⁴நோ ந ப⁴வதி ப⁴விதுஞ்ச ந ஸ²க்நோதி|
8 for neither is it able; and those who are in the flesh are not able to please God.
ஏதஸ்மாத் ஸா²ரீரிகாசாரிஷு தோஷ்டும் ஈஸ்²வரேண ந ஸ²க்யம்’|
9 And you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you; and if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ—this one is not His;
கிந்த்வீஸ்²வரஸ்யாத்மா யதி³ யுஷ்மாகம்’ மத்⁴யே வஸதி தர்ஹி யூயம்’ ஸா²ரீரிகாசாரிணோ ந ஸந்த ஆத்மிகாசாரிணோ ப⁴வத²: | யஸ்மிந் து க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்யாத்மா ந வித்³யதே ஸ தத்ஸம்ப⁴வோ நஹி|
10 and if Christ [is] in you, the body, indeed, [is] dead because of sin, and the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness,
யதி³ க்²ரீஷ்டோ யுஷ்மாந் அதி⁴திஷ்ட²தி தர்ஹி பாபம் உத்³தி³ஸ்²ய ஸ²ரீரம்’ ம்ரு’தம்’ கிந்து புண்யமுத்³தி³ஸ்²யாத்மா ஜீவதி|
11 and if the Spirit of Him who raised up Jesus out of the dead dwells in you, He who raised up the Christ out of the dead will also quicken your dying bodies, through His Spirit dwelling in you.
ம்ரு’தக³ணாத்³ யீஸு² ர்யேநோத்தா²பிதஸ்தஸ்யாத்மா யதி³ யுஷ்மந்மத்⁴யே வஸதி தர்ஹி ம்ரு’தக³ணாத் க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ஸ உத்தா²பயிதா யுஷ்மந்மத்⁴யவாஸிநா ஸ்வகீயாத்மநா யுஷ்மாகம்’ ம்ரு’ததே³ஹாநபி புந ர்ஜீவயிஷ்யதி|
12 So, then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh;
ஹே ப்⁴ராத்ரு’க³ண ஸ²ரீரஸ்ய வயமத⁴மர்ணா ந ப⁴வாமோ(அ)த: ஸா²ரீரிகாசாரோ(அ)ஸ்மாபி⁴ ர்ந கர்த்தவ்ய: |
13 for if according to the flesh you live, you are about to die; and if, by the Spirit, the deeds of the body you put to death, you will live;
யதி³ யூயம்’ ஸ²ரீரிகாசாரிணோ ப⁴வேத தர்ஹி யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்மர்த்தவ்யமேவ கிந்த்வாத்மநா யதி³ ஸ²ரீரகர்ம்மாணி கா⁴தயேத தர்ஹி ஜீவிஷ்யத²|
14 for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God;
யதோ யாவந்தோ லோகா ஈஸ்²வரஸ்யாத்மநாக்ரு’ஷ்யந்தே தே ஸர்வ்வ ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸந்தாநா ப⁴வந்தி|
15 for you did not receive a spirit of bondage again for fear, but you received [the] Spirit of adoption in which we cry, “Abba! Father!”
யூயம்’ புநரபி ப⁴யஜநகம்’ தா³ஸ்யபா⁴வம்’ ந ப்ராப்தா: கிந்து யேந பா⁴வேநேஸ்²வரம்’ பித: பிதரிதி ப்ரோச்ய ஸம்போ³த⁴யத² தாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ த³த்தகபுத்ரத்வபா⁴வம் ப்ராப்நுத|
16 [This] One—the Spirit—testifies with our spirit, that we are children of God;
அபரஞ்ச வயம் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸந்தாநா ஏதஸ்மிந் பவித்ர ஆத்மா ஸ்வயம் அஸ்மாகம் ஆத்மாபி⁴: ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ ப்ரமாணம்’ த³தா³தி|
17 and if children, also heirs, heirs, indeed, of God, and heirs together of Christ—if, indeed, we suffer together, that we may also be glorified together.
அதஏவ வயம்’ யதி³ ஸந்தாநாஸ்தர்ஹ்யதி⁴காரிண: , அர்தா²த்³ ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸ்வத்த்வாதி⁴காரிண: க்²ரீஷ்டேந ஸஹாதி⁴காரிணஸ்²ச ப⁴வாம: ; அபரம்’ தேந ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ யதி³ து³: க²பா⁴கி³நோ ப⁴வாமஸ்தர்ஹி தஸ்ய விப⁴வஸ்யாபி பா⁴கி³நோ ப⁴விஷ்யாம: |
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory about to be revealed in us;
கிந்த்வஸ்மாஸு யோ பா⁴வீவிப⁴வ: ப்ரகாஸி²ஷ்யதே தஸ்ய ஸமீபே வர்த்தமாநகாலீநம்’ து³: க²மஹம்’ த்ரு’ணாய மந்யே|
19 for the earnest looking out of the creation expects the revelation of the sons of God;
யத: ப்ராணிக³ண ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸந்தாநாநாம்’ விப⁴வப்ராப்திம் ஆகாங்க்ஷந் நிதாந்தம் அபேக்ஷதே|
20 for to vanity was the creation made subject—not of its will, but because of Him who subjected [it]—in hope,
அபரஞ்ச ப்ராணிக³ண: ஸ்வைரம் அலீகதாயா வஸீ²க்ரு’தோ நாப⁴வத்
21 that also the creation itself will be set free from the servitude of the corruption to the liberty of the glory of the children of God;
கிந்து ப்ராணிக³ணோ(அ)பி நஸ்²வரதாதீ⁴நத்வாத் முக்த: ஸந் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸந்தாநாநாம்’ பரமமுக்திம்’ ப்ராப்ஸ்யதீத்யபி⁴ப்ராயேண வஸீ²கர்த்ரா வஸீ²சக்ரே|
22 for we have known that all the creation groans together, and travails in pain together until now.
அபரஞ்ச ப்ரஸூயமாநாவத்³ வ்யதி²த: ஸந் இதா³நீம்’ யாவத் க்ரு’த்ஸ்ந: ப்ராணிக³ண ஆர்த்தஸ்வரம்’ கரோதீதி வயம்’ ஜாநீம: |
23 And not only [so], but also we ourselves, having the first-fruit of the Spirit, we also ourselves groan in ourselves, expecting adoption—the redemption of our body;
கேவல: ஸ இதி நஹி கிந்து ப்ரத²மஜாதப²லஸ்வரூபம் ஆத்மாநம்’ ப்ராப்தா வயமபி த³த்தகபுத்ரத்வபத³ப்ராப்திம் அர்தா²த் ஸ²ரீரஸ்ய முக்திம்’ ப்ரதீக்ஷமாணாஸ்தத்³வத்³ அந்தரார்த்தராவம்’ குர்ம்ம: |
24 for in hope we were saved, and hope beheld is not hope; for what anyone beholds, why does he also hope for [it]?
வயம்’ ப்ரத்யாஸ²யா த்ராணம் அலபா⁴மஹி கிந்து ப்ரத்யக்ஷவஸ்துநோ யா ப்ரத்யாஸா² ஸா ப்ரத்யாஸா² நஹி, யதோ மநுஷ்யோ யத் ஸமீக்ஷதே தஸ்ய ப்ரத்யாஸா²ம்’ குத: கரிஷ்யதி?
25 And if what we do not behold we hope for, through continuance we expect [it].
யத்³ அப்ரத்யக்ஷம்’ தஸ்ய ப்ரத்யாஸா²ம்’ யதி³ வயம்’ குர்வ்வீமஹி தர்ஹி தை⁴ர்ய்யம் அவலம்ப்³ய ப்ரதீக்ஷாமஹே|
26 And in like manner also, the Spirit helps our weaknesses; for what we may pray for, as it is necessary, we have not known, but [this] One—the Spirit—makes intercession for us with unutterable groanings,
தத ஆத்மாபி ஸ்வயம் அஸ்மாகம்’ து³ர்ப்³ப³லதாயா: ஸஹாயத்வம்’ கரோதி; யத: கிம்’ ப்ரார்தி²தவ்யம்’ தத்³ போ³த்³து⁴ம்’ வயம்’ ந ஸ²க்நும: , கிந்த்வஸ்பஷ்டைரார்த்தராவைராத்மா ஸ்வயம் அஸ்மந்நிமித்தம்’ நிவேத³யதி|
27 and He who is searching the hearts has known what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because according to God He intercedes for holy ones.
அபரம் ஈஸ்²வராபி⁴மதரூபேண பவித்ரலோகாநாம்’ க்ரு’தே நிவேத³யதி ய ஆத்மா தஸ்யாபி⁴ப்ராயோ(அ)ந்தர்ய்யாமிநா ஜ்ஞாயதே|
28 And we have known that to those loving God all things work together for good, to those who are called according to purpose;
அபரம் ஈஸ்²வரீயநிரூபணாநுஸாரேணாஹூதா: ஸந்தோ யே தஸ்மிந் ப்ரீயந்தே ஸர்வ்வாணி மிலித்வா தேஷாம்’ மங்க³லம்’ ஸாத⁴யந்தி, ஏதத்³ வயம்’ ஜாநீம: |
29 because whom He foreknew, He also foreordained, conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be firstborn among many brothers;
யத ஈஸ்²வரோ ப³ஹுப்⁴ராத்ரு’ணாம்’ மத்⁴யே ஸ்வபுத்ரம்’ ஜ்யேஷ்ட²ம்’ கர்த்தும் இச்ச²ந் யாந் பூர்வ்வம்’ லக்ஷ்யீக்ரு’தவாந் தாந் தஸ்ய ப்ரதிமூர்த்யா: ஸாத்³ரு’ஸ்²யப்ராப்த்யர்த²ம்’ ந்யயும்’க்த|
30 and whom He foreordained, these also He called; and whom He called, these also He declared righteous; and whom He declared righteous, these also He glorified.
அபரஞ்ச தேந யே நியுக்தாஸ்த ஆஹூதா அபி யே ச தேநாஹூதாஸ்தே ஸபுண்யீக்ரு’தா: , யே ச தேந ஸபுண்யீக்ரு’தாஸ்தே விப⁴வயுக்தா: |
31 What, then, will we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [is] against us?
இத்யத்ர வயம்’ கிம்’ ப்³ரூம: ? ஈஸ்²வரோ யத்³யஸ்மாகம்’ ஸபக்ஷோ ப⁴வதி தர்ஹி கோ விபக்ஷோ(அ)ஸ்மாகம்’?
32 He who indeed did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him grant to us all things?
ஆத்மபுத்ரம்’ ந ரக்ஷித்வா யோ(அ)ஸ்மாகம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ க்ரு’தே தம்’ ப்ரத³த்தவாந் ஸ கிம்’ தேந ஸஹாஸ்மப்⁴யம் அந்யாநி ஸர்வ்வாணி ந தா³ஸ்யதி?
33 Who will lay a charge against the chosen ones of God? God [is] He that is declaring righteous;
ஈஸ்²வரஸ்யாபி⁴ருசிதேஷு கேந தோ³ஷ ஆரோபயிஷ்யதே? ய ஈஸ்²வரஸ்தாந் புண்யவத இவ க³ணயதி கிம்’ தேந?
34 who [is] he that is condemning? Christ [is] He that died, indeed, rather also, was raised up; who is also on the right hand of God—who also interceded for us.
அபரம்’ தேப்⁴யோ த³ண்ட³தா³நாஜ்ஞா வா கேந கரிஷ்யதே? யோ(அ)ஸ்மந்நிமித்தம்’ ப்ராணாந் த்யக்தவாந் கேவலம்’ தந்ந கிந்து ம்ரு’தக³ணமத்⁴யாத்³ உத்தி²தவாந், அபி சேஸ்²வரஸ்ய த³க்ஷிணே பார்ஸ்²வே திஷ்ட²ந் அத்³யாப்யஸ்மாகம்’ நிமித்தம்’ ப்ரார்த²த ஏவம்பூ⁴தோ ய: க்²ரீஷ்ட: கிம்’ தேந?
35 Who will separate us from the love of the Christ? Tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
அஸ்மாபி⁴: ஸஹ க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ப்ரேமவிச்சே²த³ம்’ ஜநயிதும்’ க: ஸ²க்நோதி? க்லேஸோ² வ்யஸநம்’ வா தாட³நா வா து³ர்பி⁴க்ஷம்’ வா வஸ்த்ரஹீநத்வம்’ வா ப்ராணஸம்’ஸ²யோ வா க²ங்கோ³ வா கிமேதாநி ஸ²க்நுவந்தி?
36 According as it has been written: “For Your sake we are put to death all the day long; we were reckoned as sheep of slaughter.”
கிந்து லிகி²தம் ஆஸ்தே, யதா², வயம்’ தவ நிமித்தம்’ ஸ்மோ ம்ரு’த்யுவக்த்ரே(அ)கி²லம்’ தி³நம்’| ப³லிர்தே³யோ யதா² மேஷோ வயம்’ க³ண்யாமஹே ததா²|
37 But in all these we more than conquer, through Him who loved us;
அபரம்’ யோ(அ)ஸ்மாஸு ப்ரீயதே தேநைதாஸு விபத்ஸு வயம்’ ஸம்யக்³ விஜயாமஹே|
38 for I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor messengers, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present,
யதோ(அ)ஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ரபு⁴நா யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டேநேஸ்²வரஸ்ய யத் ப்ரேம தஸ்மாத்³ அஸ்மாகம்’ விச்சே²த³ம்’ ஜநயிதும்’ ம்ரு’த்யு ர்ஜீவநம்’ வா தி³வ்யதூ³தா வா ப³லவந்தோ முக்²யதூ³தா வா வர்த்தமாநோ வா ப⁴விஷ்யந் காலோ வா உச்சபத³ம்’ வா நீசபத³ம்’ வாபரம்’ கிமபி ஸ்ரு’ஷ்டவஸ்து
39 nor things about to be, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God that [is] in Christ Jesus our Lord.
வைதேஷாம்’ கேநாபி ந ஸ²க்யமித்யஸ்மிந் த்³ரு’ட⁴விஸ்²வாஸோ மமாஸ்தே|
