< Romans 8 >

1 There is, then, now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit;
Ary amin’ izany dia tsy misy fanamelohana ho an’ izay ao amin’ i Kristy Jesosy.
2 for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus set me free from the law of sin and of death;
Fa ao amin’ i Kristy Jesosy ny lalàn’ ny Fanahin’ aina no nahafaka ahy tamin’ ny lalàn’ ny fahotana sy ny fahafatesana.
3 for what the Law was not able to do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, His own Son having sent in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh,
Fa izay tsy hain’ ny lalàna, satria ny nofo no nahalemy azy, dia vitan’ Andriamanitra tamin’ izy naniraka ny Zanany, naka ny endriky ny nofo ota sy ny amin’ ny ota, ka nanameloka ny ota tao amin’ ny nofo,
4 that the righteousness of the Law may be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
mba hahatanteraka ny fahamarinana ilain’ ny lalàna amintsika, izay tsy mandeha araka ny nofo, fa araka ny Fanahy.
5 For those who are according to the flesh, mind the things of the flesh; and those according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit;
Fa izay araka ny nofo dia mihevitra izay zavatry ny nofo; fa izay araka ny Fanahy kosa mihevitra izay zavatry ny Fanahy.
6 for the mind of the flesh [is] death, and the mind of the Spirit—life and peace;
Fa ny fihevitry ny nofo dia fahafatesana; fa ny fihevitry ny Fanahy kosa fiainana, sy fiadanana
7 because the mind of the flesh [is] enmity to God, for to the Law of God it does not subject itself,
satria fandrafiana an’ Andriamanitra ny fihevitry ny nofo; fa tsy manaiky ny lalàn’ Andriamanitra, sady tsy hainy akory izany.
8 for neither is it able; and those who are in the flesh are not able to please God.
Ary izay ao amin’ ny nofo dia tsy mahay manao ny sitrapon’ Andriamanitra.
9 And you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you; and if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ—this one is not His;
Fa ianareo tsy ao amin’ ny nofo, fa ao amin’ ny Fanahy, raha ny Fanahin’ Andriamanitra no mitoetra ao anatinareo. Fa raha misy kosa tsy manana ny Fanahin’ i Kristy, dia tsy Azy izy.
10 and if Christ [is] in you, the body, indeed, [is] dead because of sin, and the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness,
Fa raha Kristy no mitoetra ao anatinareo, na dia maty ihany aza ny tena noho ny ota, dia fiainana kosa ny fanahy noho ny fanamarinana.
11 and if the Spirit of Him who raised up Jesus out of the dead dwells in you, He who raised up the Christ out of the dead will also quicken your dying bodies, through His Spirit dwelling in you.
Ary raha ny Fanahin’ izay nanangana an’ i Jesosy tamin’ ny maty no mitoetra ao anatinareo, dia Izay nanangana an’ i Kristy Jesosy tamin’ ny maty no hamelona ny tenanareo mety maty amin’ ny Fanahiny, Izay mitoetra ao anatinareo.
12 So, then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh;
Ary amin’ izany, ry rahalahy, dia mpitrosa isika ― tsy amin’ ny nofo anefa, ka ho velona araka ny nofo.
13 for if according to the flesh you live, you are about to die; and if, by the Spirit, the deeds of the body you put to death, you will live;
Fa raha velona araka ny nofo ianareo, dia tsy maintsy maty; fa raha ny Fanahy no amonoanareo ny asan’ ny tena dia ho velona ianareo.
14 for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God;
Fa izay tarihin’ ny Fanahin’ Andriamanitra no zanak’ Andriamanitra.
15 for you did not receive a spirit of bondage again for fear, but you received [the] Spirit of adoption in which we cry, “Abba! Father!”
Fa tsy nandray ny fanahim-pahandevozana ho amin’ ny tahotra indray ianareo, fa nandray ny fanahin’ ny zanaka natsangana, izay iantsoantsika hoe: Aba, Ray ô.
16 [This] One—the Spirit—testifies with our spirit, that we are children of God;
Ny Fanahy dia miara-milaza amin’ ny fanahintsika fa zanak’ Andriamanitra isika.
17 and if children, also heirs, heirs, indeed, of God, and heirs together of Christ—if, indeed, we suffer together, that we may also be glorified together.
Ary raha zanaka, dia mpandova; eny, sady mpandova an’ Andriamanitra no mpiray lova amin’ i Kristy koa, raha miara-miaritra aminy isika mba hiara-manam-boninahitra aminy koa.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory about to be revealed in us;
Fa ataoko fa ny fahoriana amin’ izao andro ankehitriny izao dia tsy tokony hoharina amin’ ny voninahitra izay haseho amintsika.
19 for the earnest looking out of the creation expects the revelation of the sons of God;
Fa izao zavatra ary rehetra izao dia samy maniry fatratra ka miandry ny fampisehoana ireo zanak’ Andriamanitra;
20 for to vanity was the creation made subject—not of its will, but because of Him who subjected [it]—in hope,
fa izao zavatra ary rehetra izao dia nampanekena ho zava-poana, nefa tsy noho ny sitrapony, fa noho Izay nampanaiky azy,
21 that also the creation itself will be set free from the servitude of the corruption to the liberty of the glory of the children of God;
sady nahazo fanantenana koa fa izao zavatra ary rehetra izao aza dia hovotsorana amin’ ny fahandevozana, dia ny fahalòvana, ho amin’ ny fahafahana izay momba ny voninahitr’ ireo zanak’ Andriamanitra.
22 for we have known that all the creation groans together, and travails in pain together until now.
Fa fantatsika fa izao zavatra ary rehetra izao dia miara-misento sy miara-marary toy izay efa hiteraka mandraka ankehitriny;
23 And not only [so], but also we ourselves, having the first-fruit of the Spirit, we also ourselves groan in ourselves, expecting adoption—the redemption of our body;
ary tsy izany ihany, fa isika koa, na dia manana ny voaloham-bokatry ny Fanahy aza, isika aza dia misento ato anatintsika, miandry ny fananganan’ anaka, dia ny fanavotana ny tenantsika.
24 for in hope we were saved, and hope beheld is not hope; for what anyone beholds, why does he also hope for [it]?
Fa ny fanantenana no namonjena antsika; nefa ny fanantenana hita dia tsy mba fanantenana intsony; fa ahoana no mbola anantenan’ ny olona izay efa hitany?
25 And if what we do not behold we hope for, through continuance we expect [it].
Fa raha isika manantena izay tsy mbola hitantsika, dia miandry amin’ ny faharetana.
26 And in like manner also, the Spirit helps our weaknesses; for what we may pray for, as it is necessary, we have not known, but [this] One—the Spirit—makes intercession for us with unutterable groanings,
Ary toy izany koa, ny Fanahy no mamonjy ny fahalementsika: fa tsy fantatsika izay vavaka tokony hataontsika; fa ny Fanahy no mifona amin’ ny fitarainana tsy azo tononina.
27 and He who is searching the hearts has known what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because according to God He intercedes for holy ones.
Ary Izay mandinika ny fo no mahalala izay hevitry ny Fanahy, satria araka an’ Andriamanitra ny fifonany ho an’ ny olona masìna.
28 And we have known that to those loving God all things work together for good, to those who are called according to purpose;
Ary fantatsika fa ny zavatra rehetra dia miara-miasa hahasoa izay tia an’ Andriamanitra, dia izay voantso araka ny fikasany rahateo.
29 because whom He foreknew, He also foreordained, conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be firstborn among many brothers;
satria izay fantany rahateo no notendreny koa hitovy endrika amin’ ny Zanany, mba ho Lahimatoa amin’ ny rahalahy maro Izy.
30 and whom He foreordained, these also He called; and whom He called, these also He declared righteous; and whom He declared righteous, these also He glorified.
Ary izay notendreny no nantsoiny koa; ary izay nantsoiny no nohamarininy koa; ary izay nohamarininy no nomeny voninahitra koa.
31 What, then, will we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [is] against us?
Inona ary no holazaintsika ny amin’ izany zavatra izany? Raha Andriamanitra momba antsika, iza no hahatohitra antsika?
32 He who indeed did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him grant to us all things?
Izay tsy niaro ny Zanani-lahy, fa natolony hamonjy antsika rehetra Izy, tsy homeny antsika miaraka aminy maimaimpoana koa va ny zavatra rehetra?
33 Who will lay a charge against the chosen ones of God? God [is] He that is declaring righteous;
Iza no hiampanga ny olom-boafidin’ Andriamanitra? Andriamanitra no manamarina azy.
34 who [is] he that is condemning? Christ [is] He that died, indeed, rather also, was raised up; who is also on the right hand of God—who also interceded for us.
Iza no manameloka? Kristy Jesosy no efa maty, eny, sady nitsangana tamin’ ny maty koa ka mitoetra eo amin’ ny tanana ankavanan’ Andriamanitra ary mifona ho antsika.
35 Who will separate us from the love of the Christ? Tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Iza no hahasaraka antsika amin’ ny fitiavan’ i Kristy? Fahoriana va, sa fahantrana, sa fanenjehana, sa mosary, sa fitanjahana, sa loza, sa sabatra?
36 According as it has been written: “For Your sake we are put to death all the day long; we were reckoned as sheep of slaughter.”
Araka ny voasoratra hoe: Fa noho ny aminao no namonoana anay mandrakariva; Toy ny ondry hovonoina no fijery anay.
37 But in all these we more than conquer, through Him who loved us;
Kanefa amin’ izany rehetra izany dia manoatra noho ny mpandresy isika amin’ ny alalan’ ilay tia antsika.
38 for I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor messengers, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present,
Fa matoky aho fa na fahafatesana, na fiainana, na anjely, na ireo fanapahana, na zavatra ankehitriny, na zavatra ho avy, na hery,
39 nor things about to be, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God that [is] in Christ Jesus our Lord.
na ny ambony, na ny ambany, na inona na inona amin’ izao zavatra ary rehetra izao, dia tsy hahasaraka antsika amin’ ny fitiavan’ Andriamanitra izay ao amin’ i Kristy Jesosy Tompontsika.
