< Romans 5 >
1 Having been declared righteous, then, by faith, we have peace toward God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Naizvozvo zvatakanzi takarurama nerutendo, tine rugare kuna Mwari kubudikidza naIshe wedu Jesu Kristu,
2 through whom also we have the access by faith into this grace in which we have stood, and we boast on the hope of the glory of God.
watine mapindirowo naye nerutendo munyasha idzi dzatinomira madziri, tichizvikudza mutariro yekubwinya kwaMwari.
3 And not only [so], but we also boast in the tribulations, knowing that the tribulation works endurance;
Zvisati zviri izvo chetewo, asi tichizvikudzawo mumatambudziko, tichiziva kuti dambudziko rinouisa kutsungirira,
4 and the endurance, experience; and the experience, hope;
uye kutsungirira kutsiga, nekutsiga tariro;
5 and the hope does not make ashamed, because the love of God has been poured forth in our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
uye tariro hainyadzisi, nokuti rudo rwaMwari rwakadirwa mumoyo yedu neMweya Mutsvene wakapiwa kwatiri.
6 For in our being still ailing, Christ in due time died for the impious;
Nokuti tichiri pakushaiwa simba, Kristu panguva yakafanira wakafira vasingadi Mwari.
7 for scarcely for a righteous man will anyone die, for the good man perhaps someone also dares to die;
Nokuti zvinorema kuti umwe afire wakarurama; nokuti zvimwe kungavapo kunyange angatsunga kufira wakanaka.
8 and God commends His own love to us, that, in our being still sinners, Christ died for us;
Asi Mwari anosimbisa rudo rwake amene kwatiri, kuti tichiri vatadzi Kristu wakatifira.
9 much more, then, having been declared righteous now in His blood, we will be saved through Him from the wrath;
Naizvozvo zvikurusa, ikozvino zvatinonzi takarurama muropa rake, tichaponeswa naye pahasha.
10 for if, being enemies, we have been reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we will be saved in His life.
Nokuti kana pataiva vavengi takayananiswa naMwari nerufu rweMwanakomana wake, kunyanya zvatakayananiswa tichaponeswa muupenyu hwake;
11 And not only [so], but we are also boasting in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we now received the reconciliation;
zvisati zviri izvozvowo chete, asi tinozvikudzawo muna Mwari kubudikidza naIshe wedu Jesu Kristu, watakagamuchira ikozvino naye chiyananiso.
12 because of this, even as through one man sin entered into the world, and through sin—death; and thus to all men death passed through, for that all sinned;
Naizvozvo, chivi sezvachakapinda munyika nemunhu umwe, nerufu rukapinda nechivi, uye saizvozvo rufu rwakapfuurira kuvanhu vese, nokuti vese vakatadza;
13 for until law sin was in the world: and sin is not reckoned when there is not law;
nokuti kusvika murairo wavapo chivi chakange chiripo panyika; nokuti chivi hachiverengerwi, pasina murairo,
14 but death reigned from Adam until Moses, even on those having not sinned in the likeness of Adam’s transgression, who is a type of Him who is coming.
asi rufu rwakabata ushe kubva kuna Adhamu kusvikira kuna Mozisi, kunyange pamusoro pevakange vasina kutadza zvakafanana sekudarika kwaAdhamu, anova mufananidzo waiye wakange achizouya.
15 But not as the offense so also [is] the free gift; for if by the offense of the one the many died, much more the grace of God, and the free gift in grace of the one man Jesus Christ, abound to the many;
Asi kwete sekudarika, zvakaitawo chipo chenyasha. Nokuti kana nekudarika kweumwe vazhinji vakafa, kunyanya kazhinji nyasha dzaMwari nechipo zvakawandira vazhinji nenyasha dzemunhu umwe, Jesu Kristu.
16 and not as through one who sinned [is] the free gift, for the judgment indeed [is] of one to condemnation, but the gift [is] of many offenses to a declaration of “Righteous,”
Uye chipo hachina kuita seumwe wakatadza; nokuti kutongwa kwakabva kuneumwe kuchienda mukupiwa mhosva, asi chipo chenyasha chinobva pazvitadzo zvizhinji chichienda mukushaiswa mhosva.
17 for if by the offense of the one death reigned through the one, much more those who are receiving the abundance of grace and of the free gift of righteousness, in life will reign through the one—Jesus Christ.
Nokuti kana nekudarika kweumwe rufu rwakatonga naiyeyu ega, kunyanya ivo vanogamuchira kuwanda kwenyasha nekwechipo chekururama vachatonga paupenyu naiyeyu umwe, Jesu Kristu.
18 So, then, as through one offense to all men [it is] to condemnation, so also through one declaration of “Righteous” [it is] to all men to justification of life;
Naizvozvo sezvo nekudarika kweumwe kutonga kwakauya kuvanhu vese, mukupiwa mhosva, saizvozvowo nekururama kweumwe, nyasha dzakauya kuvanhu vese mukusapiwa mhosva kweupenyu.
19 for as through the disobedience of the one man, the many were constituted sinners: so also through the obedience of the One, will the many be constituted righteous.
Nokuti sezvo nekusateerera kwemunhu umwe vazhinji vakaitwa vatadzi, saizvozvowo nekuteerera kweumwe, vazhinji vachaitwa vakarurama.
20 And law came in, that the offense might abound, and where sin abounded, grace hyper-abounded,
Asi murairo wakapinda ukawedzera, kuti kudarika kuwande; asi chivi pachakawanda, nyasha dzakawanda nekupfuurisa;
21 that even as sin reigned in death, so also grace may reign, through righteousness, to continuous life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. (aiōnios )
kuti chivi sezvachakatonga murufu, saizvozvo nenyasha dzitonge nekururama kusvika kuupenyu husingaperi, naJesu Kristu Ishe wedu. (aiōnios )
