< Romans 3 >
1 What, then, [is] the superiority of the Jew? Or what the profit of the circumcision?
Tinehoile Yehudi huwa labh to ki ase? Nohoile sunnot kora labh to ki ase?
2 Much in every way; for first, indeed, that they were entrusted with the oracles of God;
Sob phale labh ase. Kelemane, prothom te, Yehudi khan ke Isor laga prokahit jonai dibole nimite dise.
3 for what, if certain were faithless? Will their faithlessness make the faithfulness of God useless?
Nohoile kunba Yehudi khan biswas nathaka asele naki? Nohoile taikhan kunba biswas nakora karone Isor laga hosa to harai jabo naki?
4 Let it not be! And let God become true, and every man false, according as it has been written: “That You may be declared righteous in Your words, and may overcome in Your being judged.”
Kitia bhi nohoi. Ulta, sob manu misa hoile bhi Isor to hosa he thakibo. Etu nimite Shastro te likha ase, “Apuni kotha kowa to hosa ase eneka janibo, Aru jitia apuni ke bisar koribo apuni bisar te jiti jabo.”
5 And if our unrighteousness establishes God’s righteousness, what will we say? Is God unrighteous who is inflicting the wrath? (I speak after the manner of a man.)
Kintu jodi amikhan adharmik thaka pora Isor laga dharmikta dikhai di ase koile, titia amikhan pora ki kobo? Amikhan uporte khong utha nimite Isor he adharmik hoise naki? (Moi manu hisab te koi ase).
6 Let it not be! Since how will God judge the world?
Kitia bhi nahobo! Jodi eneka hoile kineka Isor pora prithibi bisar koribo?
7 For if the truth of God in my falsehood abounded more to His glory, why am I also yet judged as a sinner?
Kintu jodi moi misa kowa karone Isor laga hosa to mohima kori kene bisi ulai ase, titia kele moike etiya tak paap-pi manu nisena bisar kori ase?
8 And not, as we are spoken evil of, and as certain affirm us to say, “We may do the evil things, that the good ones may come?” Whose judgment is righteous.
Aru kele eneka nakoi, jineka amikhan pora kori ase koi kene misa kotha ulai ase, aru kunba pora amikhan eneka koise koi kene sakhi kori ase, “Ahibi amikhan biya kaam koribo, aru bhal bisi ulabo nimite”? Taikhan uporte bisar kora to thik ase.
9 What, then? Are we better? Not at all! For we charged before both Jews and Greeks with being all under sin,
Tinehoile ki? Amikhan nijorke maph kori ase naki? Kitia bhi nohoi. Kelemane amikhan pora Yehudi aru Yunani khan, taikhan sob, paap te ase koi kene bodnam di dise.
10 according as it has been written: “There is none righteous, not even one;
Shastro te eneka likhi kene ase: “Kun bhi pobitro nohoi, ekjon bhi nai.
11 there is none who is understanding, there is none who is seeking after God.
Kun pora bhi nabuje. Kun pora bhi Isor ke nibisare.
12 All went out of the way, together they became unprofitable, there is none doing good, there is not even one.
Taikhan sob ghurai kene jai jaise. Taikhan eke logote eku kaam nathaka hoise. Kun pora bhi bhal nakora hoi jaise- ekjon bhi nai.”
13 Their throat [is] an opened grave; with their tongues they used deceit; poison of cobras [is] under their lips—
“Taikhan laga gola to khula thaka kobor nisena ase. Taikhan laga jiba to thogabole cholai ase. Taikhan laga mukh te saph laga jeher ase.”
14 whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.
“Taikhan laga mukh te biya kotha aru tita he ase.”
15 Their feet [are] swift to shed blood.
“Taikhan laga theng bhi khun gira bole ekdom joldi jai.
16 Ruin and misery [are] in their ways.
Taikhan bera rasta to nosto aru dukh he ase.
17 And a way of peace they did not know.
Etu manu khan to shanti laga rasta najane.”
18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
“Isor ke bhoi kora taikhan laga suku age te ekdom nai.”
19 And we have known that as many things as the Law says, to those in the Law it speaks, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may come under judgment to God;
Amikhan jane niyom te ki koi ase, etu niyom te thaka manu khan nimite he koi ase. Titia sob manu laga mukh to bondh hobo aru pura prithibi to Isor age te galti hobo.
20 for this reason by works of law will no flesh be declared righteous before Him, for through law is a knowledge of sin.
Kelemane niyom laga kaam kora pora tai age te kun manu bhi thik nohobo. Kelemane niyom dwara he paap ki ase etu jani ase.
21 And now apart from law the righteousness of God has been revealed, testified to by the Law and the Prophets,
Kintu etiya Isor laga dharmik kotha to niyom chari kene dikhai di ase. Aru etu to Bhabobadi khan aru Niom te likha khan pora sakhi dise,
22 and the righteousness of God [is] through the faith of Jesus Christ to all, and on all those believing—for there is no difference,
juntu ase, Isor laga dharmikta to Jisu Khrista ke biswas kora manu sob nimite ase. Kelemane eku alag-alag kori kene nai.
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God—
Kilekoile sob manu paap korise aru Isor laga mohima napuncha hoi jaise,
24 being declared righteous freely by His grace through the redemption that [is] in Christ Jesus,
aru Tai laga anugraha pora eku daam nadikena taikhan basi loise, juntu udhar kora Jisu Khrista te ase.
25 whom God set forth [as] a propitiatory covering, through faith in His blood, for the showing forth of His righteousness, because of the passing over of the former sins in the forbearance of God—
Kilekoile, Isor pora Khrista ke daan dibole rasta bonaise Tai laga khun te biswas rakha dwara pora. Tai laga dharmikta dikhai dibole nimite, Khrista ke dise, kelemane Tai pora age te kora paap sob maph kori dise
26 for the showing forth of His righteousness in the present time, for His being righteous, and declaring him righteous who [is] of the faith of Jesus.
Isor laga dhorjo thaka nimite. Etu aji amikhan ke tai laga dharmikta dikhai dibole karone thakise. Titia Tai hosa ase eneka jonai dibo aru kun pora Jisu ke biswas kore taikhan ke bhi bachai lobo.
27 Where then [is] the boasting? It was excluded; by what law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith:
Titia amikhan phutani kori bole ki ase? Etu hatai se. Ki laga niyom pora? Kaam kora pora naki? Nohoi, kintu biswas kora niyom pora he hoise.
28 therefore we reckon a man to be declared righteous by faith, apart from works of law.
Kelemane amikhan pora jani loise niyom laga kaam kora nohoi kene biswas pora he bachaise.
29 [Is He] only the God of Jews, and not also of nations?
Nohoile Isor to khali Yehudi khan laga Isor ase naki? Tai he Porjati laga bhi Isor nohoi naki? Hoi, Porjati laga bhi Isor ase.
30 Yes, also of nations; since [there is] one God who will declare righteous circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
Jodi, hosa pora, Isor to ekjon he ase, Tai pora sunnot huwa khan ke biswas pora bachabo aru sunnot nohua khan bhi biswas dwara he bachabo.
31 Do we then make law useless through faith? Let it not be! Indeed, we establish law.
Tinehoile amikhan biswas kora karone niyom to chari dibo naki? Eneka kitia bhi nahobi! Etu laga bodli, amikhan pora niyom to dhuri rakhibo lage.
